I booked an appointment for my lunch break last week through my PRSI visit where I should have got an exam and clean for €15. The appointment was with Dr Viorel Matei. When he decided to stop flirting with the dental nurses 20 minutes after my appointment time (on my lunch break), he brought me into his booth. My bottom gum was sore and inflamed and from past experience, I had an idea that I had a gum infection and would need a clean and maybe antibiotics. Within 10 seconds of sitting in his chair, he said that i would need a deep gum clean and that it would €150 for this (even though i was there through my PRSI visit, which he would get a kickback from if he treated me. He also said i did NOT need an antibiotic (something the dentist I had to go to the next day was able to tell me I DID need within a few seconds of seeing my gum and having spoke with me). Not having much left time left on my lunch break and knowing that he was trying to rip me off, I got out of the chair as quick as possible so it would hopefully not count as my free dental visit from paying tax all year. Unfortunately this was not the case and Viorel felt that him telling me 10 seconds in that i would have to pay €150 and that i did not need an antibiotic, that this was sufficient to process my free "dental exam" and unfortunately I wasn't able to avail of this when I saw a professional dentist the following day, who did not need to do a "€150" procedure (him and the nurse working were appalled when I told them what he tried to charge me). The second dentist I saw immediately put me on a strong antibiotic for gum infection (so thankfully that won't now progress and also I'm not in pain, as i was leaving the first place). Thanks Dr. Matei, very "professional" service. My tip would be to stop thinking you're the star role in a movie about dentists, and just be a dentist :) And also don't rip people off, it's hard enough in Dublin without the likes of you.

I had a visit here a few months ago and was NOT happy. I would not recommend anyone to go here (although granted there are a large number of dentists so some of them may be better than the one I saw). I've always had a bit of a fear of dentist and try to always go to one I know. I had an emergency situation after knocking out a filling in one of my front teeth and needed to see someone ASAP so I made an appointment here. When I saw the dentist, he first took x-rays of my tooth (which seemed odd to me - and indeed when I saw another dentist he questioned whether this was necessary). Then he told me that I needed to have a crown - something which would costs hundreds of euro. Having knocked out the filling the previous day, I asked if he could not just fill the tooth again. He pushed for the crown, but eventually gave in and filled the tooth. Overall this made me leave feeling like he was not recommending the best treatment for me, but the one that would make them the most money. When he filled the tooth, the finish was terrible, with rough spots and not properly fitting the shape of my mouth. I told him it was hitting my bottom teeth, but no matter how many times he filed it down he was not able to remedy this. I ended up going to another dentist afterwards to have them fix this, and after all of this the filling fell out after two weeks. I'm pretty sure if I had gone back here he would have told me I needed a crown again - although when I went back to my regular dentist, he told me this was not necessary and filled the tooth again perfectly - which is still in place months later with no issues. I'm sure there are some nice dentists here - but since this is a business that's branded I expect them to ensure the quality of the people they have thee. After my experience I would NEVER go back here for dental care of any kind.

I was referred to the Oral Surgeon in Smiles O'Connell Street and to be honest was quite anxious as some reviews on here are great and some are not great at all. All I can say is for my experience I am giving 5 stars and would give more if possible. From the moment I booked the appointment I was informed of all the fees and the procedure details by the receptionists, asked if I wanted to be sedated, which I gladly accepted and hung up the call feeling a little less anxious. When I arrived to the clinic I was greeted by Shannon who I had also spoken to when booking. She was kind and chatted away to me which to be honest helped with my nerves. The surgeons nurse Maria was lovely and went through my consent form with me then took me up to meet the surgeon. He wasn't exactly warm and fuzzy but he was direct and explained everything again for me. Kind of what I would expect from a specialist. That's it really. Happily I don't remember anything else thanks to the sedation. Have had some tenderness which I was expecting as it was all explained but otherwise a very stress free experience. They have been on to me to see how I am doing and thankfully I have no complaints. Highly recommend.

I won't be returning. Got a scale and polish done here and most staff are quite nice and helpful. However the one dentist that was doing the polish I found to be very berating. He knew I was a nervous person but shared no sympathy and didn't seem to care less. He made all sorts of comments about a deep clean and even braces even though I was saying no thanks He insisted i should. Obviously I stuck with my gut and said no because of all people I didn't want to see him again. I got a second opinion from another dental for a routine check up and they were confused as to why I would be told I should gwt this when they could see my situation wasn't that severe. Which I knew it wasn't. Even they said I can get them but it isn't mandatory to get on with things. This guy (non Irish at smiles I think) probably just fancied a bit extra in his pocket and probably loves watching people get scared. What gets me as well is, they told me this guy would he very nice during my initial appointment but I won't him to be very berating and probably a little demanding. So no, sorry Smiles but while that guy is there working with people's teeth, I won't be coming back anytime soon.

I wish I could give more stars. My experience with Dr. Fernanda Roese Mesquita was awesome. By far the best dentist I ever consulted. Here is my experience: I got a very small cavity and wanted to know the treatment and the cost. I went to a dentist in north circular road. She checked it, took x-ray, told me that I have 2 cavities and need 2 fillings. Also she said if I do not get the cavity removed within a week it can progress to dentin layer after which I would need a Root canal. She even showed me some pictures of another patient's tooth who had to go through root canal. I was SCARED. I did not have any filling or root canal till now. I thought of taking a step back and getting a second opinion. I took an appointment at Smiles Dental O'Connell Street. Luckily got Dr. Fernanda Roese Mesquita as my dentist. She took x-rays, told me I do not need any filling, as the cavity was small she scrapped it and sealed my tooth. I am so happy I did not get my tooth drilled :) It is great to know that we still have dentist who do not want to give the patient unnecessary fillings. Smiles Dental O'Connell Street - The best experience I ever had. Thank you :)

I gotta say, my experience at Smile Dental in Dublin with Dr. Fernanda Mesquita was simply fantastic! This lady knows her stuff and delivers top-notch service with a smile. Right from the get-go, the staff at Smile Dental made me feel welcome and comfortable. And let me tell you, Dr. Mesquita's professionalism and skill are off the charts. She explained everything in plain Portuguese (in my case), making sure I understood what was going on. Her attention to detail during the treatment was seriously impressive, making me feel like I was in the hands of a true pro. But it's not just about the technical stuff—Dr. Fernanda genuinely cares. She took the time to listen to my concerns and treated me with the utmost care and thoughtfulness. It's that personal touch that sets her apart. After a rocky road of bad experiences and unpleasant Dentists, I had to bite the bullet and face my fears and it’s honestly the best thing I’ve ever done. Work colleagues recommended Smiles Dental in O’Connell Street and they were so right. I was a nervous wreck and from the minute I went to the front desk I felt welcome and already more at ease. Ciara was an absolute angel at reception, the nicest girl ever! Dr. Viorel and Mercy were were looking after my procedure and they made me feel calm throughout the whole thing, I’ve never had everything explained to me with such care before and it felt nice to know and to see exactly what was going on. I even received a treatment plan! I didn’t even know that was a thing, I was never left in the dark for a second. Even dealing with Lisa through email was great, they are so pleasant and helpful at all times. Sorry for the length of this but I believe we should give credit where it’s due and they so deserve the recognition. Thanks so much!

I've been going regularly (well, minus the occasional forgetting to go for my 6 month check-up) to Smiles on O'Connell Street for about three years now. I have a long history with dentists because I'm a cleftie, so my upper teeth have been causing me trouble all my life. No dentist until Dr. Laima managed to make dentist visits virtually painless and relaxing. Dr. Laima managed to blow away all my previous fears of dentists and work having to be done on my teeth. From numerous fillings to draining abscess and cleaning, Dr. Laima has done it all with the utmost professionalism and care. Dr. Laima's assistants seem to be very good at their job as well, which only adds to the quality of the overall experience. It's worth also mentioning that the open plan style of the place makes it - to me that is - more relaxing and inviting. The receptionists are always lovely both in person and on the phone, so every visit is a great experience all the way through.

Going to the Dentist is as most people know is for some a very harrowing experience I have myself being to lot's of Dentist over the years but a few year's I had a very painful tooth ache and was looking for a Dentist on a Sunday I typed in Dentist surgery in my area on my laptop and checked what was available I came across Smile a d rang them the girl on the phone was great and I got a appointment for later that day when I got there I was given a form to fill in one of the questions was are you a nervous person I ticked yes the Dentist I got was great everything was explained to me and a lot of care taken to put me at ease I had my tooth removed with little or no fuss even the injection to numb the area was done with ease I have gone to Smile eversence and just a few days ago had 3 teeth removed with no fuss the staff are great there would recomend Smile the Smile I go ti is on OCONNELL street Dublin so very convenient for anyone D

This is a very late review but I feel responsible to make this comment. I went there around 5 years ago for cleaning. I was late for 5 minutes and then they gave me a form to fill out so totally and hence cleaning started 12 minutes late than the appointment time. Dentist told me that because I was late he is going to have to be quick. However he was rushing so badly that he was keep cutting my gum and I was spitting gum and blood every time i gave a break during the cleaning. I felt my self really bad. During the next two weeks I got scars in my mouth souring. I could not brush my teeth properly for the next month because it was hurting. I went back there after 2 months and told the story exact dentist who cleaned my teeth. He was defensing himself and was rude to me. He cleaned it again and this time was much better. However overall my experience with Smiles Dental was very bad. I hope they improved since then.

Two dentists I came across were rubbish. I had a panic attack and I had an Eastern European (I think) dentist with dark brown hair. He showed very little empathy. "But a root canal is a simple procedure". He also did not leave enough time for the anaesthetic to kick in. I had to leave and safe to say I will never go back. Only chose this one out of convenience but there are far better and much cheaper ones around you are better off doing research before picking a dentist. If you are unfortunate enough (like me) to suffer from Dentist Phobia AVOID this place. It has bad reviews for a reason. I myself as a pharmacist and I am shocked that this dentist is a healthcare professional, I think he is better suited to a lab or an office setting. Maybe they don't teach patient empathy in his country. The kind receptionists were the only nice thing about the place.

Top quality dental branch! I use to be a very nervous patient before I started coming to Smiles OConnell Street. George was my dentist for a couple of years until he left. I was very nervous when he told me he was leaving, he was absolutely brilliant! But the dentist I see now, Fernanda, is just as good. Everything about the clinic, from the friendly and welcoming receptionists to the open lay out of the clinic itself, puts you at ease and settles your nerves. The dentists I have seen here seem really happy and cheerful walking around, but most importantly are brilliant at their jobs. I’ve never had any problems or negative issues, from scale and polish, fillings to teeth whitening, and would highly recommend Smiles. I live outside the city center but am more than happy to make the commute in to OConnell Street for my appointments.

Had an appointment this morning i was late phoned to say i was going to be late, lovely receptionist said that no problem, got there 940 appointment was 930 ...in the treatment chair to be told over and over again by the dentist im late and he could not fit in clean / polish and filling in my treatment so said just do my filling if that helps then he said okay like he was doing me a favor. i thought im paying to be treated like this however his hostile treatment how he was repeating to the dental nurse note down hes late and back and forth with me that i was late thought im out of here he had no compassion tottal he was off i was full of fear when he start the treatment i just couldnt go through with it got up and walked out i would say AVOID this dentist

Absolutely terrible. During a routine check-up, a dentist told me that I needed 4 fillings, and that she could do them for me there and then. This was rather strange, because I've never had a filling before and had no pain or sensitivity in my teeth. I politely declined despite her ominous warnings that it will only keep getting worse. Eventually she dropped it and I went on my way. I then got a second opinion from 2 separate dentists who said I had absolutely no need for fillings and that my teeth were in perfect health. So in order to make more money, this dentist was willing to drill holes in my teeth and do work that wasn't needed. This is morally reprehensible, and I nor my partner will ever be returning. Disgusting behaviour.

I attended The O Connell St. clinic last week and yesterday and had the pleasure of having Dr Fernanda as my dentist. She is so lovely and professional and made my visit enjoyable. Dr Fernanda and her assistant (sorry I cannot remember his name as I was anxious) put me at ease and I can not recommend them enough. The receptionists were also all lovely and are a credit to the company. I was sceptical due to some of the reviews here but it’s a shame as my experience was exceptional and I can only advise anyone who is undecided to book under Dr Fernanda and you will definitely be a returning customer! She delivers excellent patient centred care and keeps you informed throughout your procedure. 5 stars Keep up the good work!!!

I wasn't overly fond of attending the dentist as I had a very bad experience in the past but Smiles Dental O’Connell Street could not have put me more at ease I felt totally relaxed from the moment I stepped into the clinic Such a great professional and friendly environment. The staff at the front desk in particular Shannon are a great help very welcoming, well mannered, friendly and make me feel very comfortable every time I attend the clinic My Dentist Michael is amazing at what he does very gentle and explains everything his doing as his doing it really considerate of my fear made me feel really relaxed and also dose a fantastic job a great experience overall highly recommend this clinic and Michael .

I have to be honest that, when my insurance company provided me with the name of the place that I had to go and I took a look at Google, I was the scariest person on earth due to the reviews I read but, I decided to go anyway. I have a very nice experience! Receptionists were very friendly, the infrastructure it’s new for me (the rooms are actually cubicles in a huge space) but everything looked clean and well maintained. Brazilian Dr. Fernanda was great! With full attention to the problem, explaining step by step what she was doing, completely concerned about how I was feeling... Simply awesome experience! I definitely suggest that if someone have to make an appointment there, call for Dr. Fernanda.

Without a doubt best dentist ive ever went to and would never consider another since my 1st visit years ago,so professional an friendly,all the staff frm the dentist and their team, to receptionists and doorman,i have recommended them to so many people over the years an they always have good feedback about smiles. I broke my tooth and went into the emergency and that was a good service, however in my next consultation that I had booked 3 weeks before, my experience was not good. I went there, and the receptionist said I should wait a while because my dentist wasn't there and she would get someone else. After half an hour, and people that came after me being taken care of, I went back to the receptionist, she hasn't even contacted anyone to see me. So I went there and waited half an hour in vain, needing to come back another time. She said they couldn't contact me because they had my wrong phone number, even though I've written my email and my phone number on the form. I wasn't happy about it.

I went today today for a check up. I have the medical card so I saw the Dentist taking care of these visits. Dr. Thomas was his name. I thought I couldn't get out quick enough. Two small filings and I was trembling. He was so rough he didn't even tell me he was injecting my gums, 4 times just shoved the needle in without notice. He did filings that don't even close smoothly on my mouth so like my lower jaw is out now. He was rude, arrogant, obnoxious and extremely impolite. I don't know how people like him are employed especially in this area where some manners go a long way. The Reception staff are as lovely as ever (how ironic). I would highly recommend going elsewhere!

I suffer badly with anxiety so going to the dentist is not a fun experience for me. I’m also 27 weeks pregnant, suffering with nausea and was up all night with tooth pain, so I was very on edge and nearly in tears arriving at smiles today. However, Dr. Viorel Matei put me at ease straight away and calmed me down. He is honestly the nicest dentist I’ve ever been to. He talked to me about my pregnancy and made me feel so comfortable. What i thought was going to be a terrible experience, turned out to be the best experience I’ve had in a dentist clinic. Could not recommend Dr. Matei enough. The girls at reception were also very nice and friendly and I will definitely return.

I have been to Smiles Dental Clinic on O'Connell Street a number of times and each time I have had a great experience. I have had two treatments there within the past week by Dr. Amna Sqqib, and her work was fantastic; she was also very pleasant to deal with and did not seem to mind one bit, all the numerous questions that I asked about the treatments I was having done. I also dealt with a Receptionist there named Laura each time, and her Customer Service was outstanding, she made me feel very welcome and was very helpful. I would highly reccommend Smiles Dental Clinic, O'Connell Street to anyone who is looking for excellent treatment and customer service.

I won't lie. I don't like going to the dentist any more than the man on the Chapham bus. But there's several things about Smiles Dental that I do really love. Firstly, the place is efficient and well run. Secondly, it's very transparent. You can take a look at the prices of the treatment and the dental staff communicate price and options very openly and directly. The dental staff are also very friendly and highly competent. The building is beautiful - so you're lying down staring up at a beautiful ceiling. Finally, (and this is pretty obvious)... location, location, location! It's in O'Connell St. - how can you get better than that? Recommended.

Went in to get a root canal tooth repaired. Was informed I needed a crown and its take an hour and a half to do the primary treatment (burring down the tooth and installing the temp crown and taking molds of the area for the permanent crown) As soon as i sat in the chair and got the anesthetic i was fine. Had a fantastic dentist called Patrycja. Came back today to get the permanent crown and couldn't be happier. After reading the negative reviews I was some what sceptic about going. But all I can say is you are in great hands if you attend the practice. Doctors and assistants are competent and attentive

Definitely DO NOT GO there. The only time I got there I was said that I had a cavity between 6th and 7th tooth (right side) and this dentist gently offered to work on it right away. I was surprised, since I have never had any of those and decided to go to another professional, who told me (after a general check-up) that in order to detect an interdental cavity he needed to do some x-ray/radiograph. He did so and confirmed me that there was no cavity. Conclusion: if I had gone for the gently-offered treatment that the Smiles Dentist suggested, I would have now real cavities. T e r r i b l e.

The dentist that saw me couldn't have been more professional and thorough. I was dreading my cleaning as I'd been avoiding it after an extended delay with the lockdown. I have a fixed bar holding my bottom teeth straight from my braces where plaque builds. The dentist cleaned it with such efficiency and precision that it was thoroughly done and over in no time. She followed with a plan for extra work that needs doing which she clearly listed in order of urgency and assured me there was no rush on anything just yet. Overall I felt cared for and well treated. Highly recommend.

Excellent service. The reception staff are some of the friendliest and most professional people you come across, especially Shannon and Ciara. Having spent quite some time worrying about how long it had been since my last visit to the dentist, I was put at ease with the professional manner of Dr. Laima. I always wanted to "fix my smile" and with Dr. Laima's advice, the decision to go with Invisalign was one I went for with confidence. It has been amazing, from consultation all the way through the treatment. The best decision I made was to go to Smiles O'Connell Street.

Honestly after reading some comments, I was bit nervous coming to Smiles, & I only really booked it in an emergency situation as I've just returned to Ireland & am a bit out of the loop. But I have to say it was a 5 star experience. I was seen to within minutes of my arrival by Dr. Viorel Matei, who was very professional, precise, extremely helpful & friendly. He explained thoroughly about my procedure & made me feel very reassured. I booked my appointment to go back tomorrow, I actually think it's the best dental experience I've had yet! Very disappointed with both the level of customer service and dental care at Smiles O'Connell Street. I visited this practice in March 2020 (prior to Covid) and was advised of work that needed to be done. Post lockdown, I have tried ringing, emailing and leaving a voicemail and have not been contacted to reschedule my appointment. I have since gone to another practice and been advised that the work that was previously recommended in Smiles is not needed. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion on the work that is advised by this dental practice.

Andrew Mawhinney was so lovely and reassuring the whole way through my tooth extraction today. He made sure to inform me of the cost of the procedure and of all my options before doing anything and checked in with me regularly. It's true the space feels a little strange since its a big open plan space with a lot of cubicles but the ceiling is very pretty which distracts from the pain. They are fast and cheaper than most city centre dentists and you can book your appointment online without ever having to talk to another human, what more do you want?

I have been in Smiles twice and on both occasions got great, fast, painless treatment. Yesterday there was a lot of drilling and use of the suction thing and it was all unpleasant but made less so by the nice people who dealt with me. For two fillings, fairly hefty ones, it cost €229. I was very happy. There are no frills here but everyone is lovely, particularly the women on reception who must have a pain listening to the same chit chat from nervous patients. I was seen the first time by Fernanda and yesterday by Mohammad. Great treatment.

I had a recurring wisdom tooth infection with 3 appointments needed to clear it. Had two wisdom teeth extracted today and I just have to say how friendly, professional and caring my dentist, Mohammed was. I’m a super nervous patient and he took every care to make sure I felt at ease, with no pain and gave me plenty of breaks to check in and give me time to calm. The surgery was quick and pain free. And on top of that, every reception team member I’ve dealt with has been easy going and keen to help. Couldn’t fault the experience at Smiles.

My dentist put me at such ease and was very clear about and included me in all decisions that were being made. Anything that effected the end bill was explicit, which I have found has not been the case in other surgeries before. I felt a massive sense of trust in my dentist to do their best for me and a v tricky tooth. Had a bit of a fear of the dentist going in and realised I had a fear of my old dentist, not of all dentists. Will be visiting smiles O'Connell and dentist Bogdan as long as I live in the same city as them.

Got an emergency appointment for a cracked tooth and filling that fell out last late night. The receptionist got me an appointment for first thing this morning at very short notice. Had teeth clean, polish and replaced filling also managed to do another filling on one needed on another tooth. Attended to by Dr Anthosh Naidoo who was very kind and professional as was her assistant. Sincere thanks to o connoll street smiles for seeing me so quick, at such short notice and resolving my teeth issues. I would highly recommend.

I hadn’t been to the dentist in a couple of years so when I attended Smiles Dental on O’Connell street for a check up and cleaning I was extremely anxious. Straight away the girls at the front desk were ever so polite and helpful which calmed me before my checkup. Dr. Andrew Mawhinney was the dentist who treated me he was very gentle and reassuring throughout the whole procedure really taking how nervous I was into consideration. My overall experience was brilliant and I couldn’t recommend the clinic and Andrew enough!

I've been going to Smiles O'Connell St for many years. Throughout those years I've been seen by a number of different dentists and I've been happy with all. Dr Laima is the dentist I have seen on my last number of visits and deserves a special mention. Dr Laima has a very calming manner and I'm always pleased when I see that she will be looking after me. There is another male Dr I've seen several times previously, but I can't remember his name - I should really try root it out! He's an absolute gentleman.

I had acute pain because my wisdom teeth was pushing on my molar and I got an appointment the same day. Upon arriving I got explained everything and then I went in to see the senior dental surgeon Viorel Matei. He is amazing at his job. 30 minutes later my wisdom teeth was out and I could go home again - finally without pain. I will make sure that if I ever need my other wisdom tooth taken out that I will definitely ask for him. Alexandra, the office assistant, was super helpful and kind too.

Told by two Smiles dentists to book for a deep clean, only to make an appointment and when I called to confirm I was told no they don't do that. When I asked if any of their chains who do I was told no. What chain of dentists can't clean gums and teeth?!? Also found their mannor to be rude and treated like an inconvenience especially by a male Eastern European dentist. Only chose here as I couldn't get an appointment with my actual dentist and was in pain. Wouldn't recommend

Hi Rosemary Tuite here. I've been at your clinic today and had a fantastic experience. I'm a nervous person as regards to getting my teeth cleaned. Heard my last dentist had left and I found him brilliant so was a bit nervous. However Dr Shahzad was totally brilliant and I never felt a thing. Will always be back and thanks so much for making my appointment so stress free. Would definitely recommend you all. Girls at reception were so friendly and helpful.

I was seen by Kumar Karra, henceforth he shall be known as the Wizard. Absolute gentleman, didn't hurt me and was extremely concerned that I was comfortable at all times. His assistant was extremely nice too and the receptionist was so friendly and helpful. The whole team work well together to make the visit as pleasant as possible. I have found my dental healthcare professionals for life here. I would give them more stars if I could. Highly recommended.

I had a great experience with this clinic . I went for a descale and polish and I could claim with my PRSI was only 15 euro . It was a while since I've been to a dentist and they gave me a full examination and it turned out I needed fillings . Was booked in straight away and they could work around my busy schedule. The staff is so polite and friendly. The building is a very unique layout and style which I loved . Overall an excellent experience.

I've been a patient for 10 years. I've had a variety of treatments and I am very pleased with the services. I used to be a patient of Dr Ahmed, who is wonderful and recently, I was lucky enough to be treated by Dr Kumar. He has decades of experience and is amazing. I am a nervous patient so I am very particular about who I am treated by. If you want to be treated while your dentist sings (that how much Dr Kumar loves his job), visit this Clinic.

As someone who's absolutely terrified of dentists & I know this day & age it's just downright silly of me, I'd to visit Smiles on O'Connell St due to having a broken tooth. Dr Mohammad was absolutely fantastic, he explained everything & put me at ease straight away, not condescending in how he spoke to me and most importantly no pain whatsoever. This is the 1st time is 40+ years I won't be anxious when making a follow up appointment.

I find smiles on O'Connell Street to be very professional the staff at reception are really nice and patient. I lost my two front teeth in a hit and run. I had to get an implant and still have a bit more work to get done I can't recommend Dr Koukoulis highly enough he explained everything he was going to do and answered all my questions making me feel at ease I didn't feel any pain and can't recommend Smiles enough. Had a filling come out and rather than attend my old dentist I chose here due to the close proximity to my workplace. I was apprehensive due to numerous bad experiences in the past but the overall experience had myself extremely relaxed. The reception staff were pleasant and welcoming and my dentist made me feel relaxed almost immediately. I would highly recommend to anyone seeking dental care to come here.

I was in Ireland on holiday (from the US) when the permanent retainer on my lower teeth came loose. I stopped by the office one morning, and they took me right away. The dentist was very good and fixed my retainer quickly. I was on my way in about 1/2 hour. I am very pleased with my visit and highly recommend this dental practice. Was there today, had been on Google and of course diagnosed myself. I went in to ask for dental bonding on my front tooth, to be told I need a white filling! I'm sorry I didn't make appointment sooner, the lady dentist was fantastic! Appointment on Tuesday for fillings and a night guard, very reasonable price, very efficient and friendly staff. I had a fantastic and pain-free visit to Smiles recently. After my initial exam and cleaning I was told I needed a filling and was able to book in for a date / time that suited me. The staff were very welcoming and my appointments were on time. I’ve always hated the dentist. Had problems when I was younger! So I’ve tried quite a few surgeries in my time , but have to say Smiles O’Connell Street are top notch. I’ve had a number of procedures done over the last two years and all have been successful. And more to the point I no longer stress about going into the dentist because of the quality of care provided.

Had been booked in for a surgical extraction on a Sunday afternoon, smiles dental text me on the Sunday morning to tell me that my appointment had been cancelled and to ring to reschedule. I tried ringing the clinic 4/5 times that day and nobody answered. Personally felt like they felt no responsibility for duty of care for their patient's and I won't be returning.

I'm a very nervous patient and my dentist Dana was excellent! She talked me through the whole procedure and was very reassuring! Also I was getting a very large filling replaced and Dana managed to shape the filling as it was a natural tooth. I'm so impressed with her work and patient care and will most definitely return here for further dental work. Thank you

My appointment was at 5:30 pm, when I got here to get the form, I waited for more than an hour and a half, and no one explained to me why. I asked the customer service staff 2 times, the first one couldn't give any explanation, and the second one directly asked my name, and the person disappeared. I wonder why? Am I not a consumer? I'm also not a free user.

Attended Smiles Dental on O’Connell street many times and I’ve always had a wonderful experience. The front desk team are always so polite and helpful making the experience so much easier, my dentist is also so efficient and takes the time to explain the treatment needed Dr.Laima is her name. Unpleasant experience with the receptionist, Margot or Margol was her name! I think someone should explain that customers are the ones paying her wage and she should treat them nicely and not give them an attitude by whispering stuff like ‘oh god’ when asked something, I don’t think I will be back in this place again after how I was treated!

I was nervous going to Smiles today as it had been 10 years since my last visit. However Dr Noor was excellent - totally professional, good-humoured and she completely put me at ease. She explained everything very clearly as she went along. The whole experience was very much less daunting and more comfortable than I was expecting.

It is not all the dentists are good in Smile dental but Dr. Fernanda is really great professional and kind. I got my teeth cleaned by her and 3 fillings done in one go. She was very gentle , during the procedure she was always checking if I was okay. My 3 fillings were all good on the next day. I really recommend her as dentist.

Just had a recent visit to the o connell Street branch couldnt of been happier leaving I had doctor fernanda. She was very friendly and very professional i had two fillings and a scale and polish. The front desk staff at Smiles are very friendly and extremely efficient. I visited for a check-up / cleaning and a follow up filling with Dr. Chris Field - he was very patient and went out of his way to make me feel comfortable - clearly explaining every step and showing me my x-rays also which gave me great piece of mind.

Dr Viorel Matei has been looking after my teeth for about the last 4 or 5 years. Every visit has been positive and even though going to the dentist isn't my favorite thing to do he makes the experience pleasant and does an excellent job. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist without hesitation.

I received root canal treatment from Dr Malgorzata Zaleska, she was absolutely lovely at each of my appointments. She made me feel at ease and very comfortable during each session. She showed great patience with myself (nervous patient) and I will gladly go back to her when I need another dentist visit.

Ive been attending smiles o connelly street for a number of years now and the service is brilliant. The receptionists are always very welcoming and happy to assist from the minute you arrive. I had to get a filling done and was amazed at Dr Enea’s and his assistant’s work! They were focused, professional and precise. Took my daughter for a cleaning the doctor Asthbrck was very arrogant, I spend 136 euros for her to have no stained removed on a consultation that lasted last than 15min, I had to work 10 hours to be able to afford this , I was robbed by this company.

I called the practice about an extraction, I spoke with a very helpful woman called Michaela who helped me get all the information I needed as well as offering to help me schedule an appointment. It was top service and I couldn't be more impressed.
