I have lived on the same street as the car wash for years. Do not go to this business if you are easily offended. The owner does not have the ability to control his temper. I don't even feel safe going there. You may or may not catch the owner throwing a temper tantrum. If you go it would be best not to interact with the owner. I am adding to my previous message from earlier today because the owner got upset at what I wrote earlier. I think he proved my point about his temper. It doesn't take much to set him off. The truth is it is fine to go to the car wash the staff does a great job. However, the owner often has a bad temper. If you are easily offended don't be surprised if he upsets you. Just try not to interact with the owner and let the manager and workers handle it. If the owner makes you angry by being disrespectful just forget about it. You caught him in a bad mood. I read the other reviews about people who complained about him being rude. The workers do a five star job. That is the main reason to go to a car wash. Don't complain about the owner's attitude. My post earlier today was because some people complained about the owner attitude. However, the owner felt like it was an attack on him instead of those who posted negative reviews on his politeness. I wanted people to be prepared for what may happen so it would be so upset if he was in a bad mood. I am not offended by his temper. It is really a show.

I’ve been to this place a dozen times and they do a great job washing cars I’ll give them that. Until they broke a piece on my console today and told me I can go to BMW and get it fixed and that there was nothing they did that could break it. Needless to say I will take my business elsewhere. It shouldn’t matter if you have an old Civic, or BMW, or a brand new Mercedes, the customer service should be the same. If you break something you should take ownership of it. If a customer comes back and complains you don’t get nasty. And as for the part they broke BMW quoted me $186.43 to replace it. Reading the other reviews and seeing all the responses it’s clear everything negative that is being said about this place is true. The owner (I’m assuming it’s the guy with the grey Audi convertible) is a bit rough and rude. The manager there is nice and always offered to fix stuff if you notice something you’re not happy with. If I would have seen the responses to the reviews before ever going to this place I would have thought twice. Being rude to the customers that pay your wage and allow you to drive that fancy car is disgusting. Looking forward to the response to this review. I just purchased a brand new 2021 car last week and decided to give “SOAP” a try to avoid scratches from machine wash. When i arrived my car was in perfect condition. They were a bit expensive but fast and appeared to be friendly. In the middle of drying my car the manager comes over to me and ask for payment. After processing the payment he returns back to drying my car than turns to me and says “oh you have a crack in your windshield, it must be a pressure crack from hitting a bump because we didn’t do anything to crack your windshield”. I than notice a huge crack on my windshield which was not there prior to pulling up. The manager completely denied responsibility for the crack instead he blamed the dealership advising me to take it to my dealer. It’s the lack of respect for personal property for me. Than to shed light on the crack and not take responsibility bc he didn’t want to be liable for the damage is even more insulting. My vehicle is brand new, not even a week old, when it was tinted the day before there was no crack and when i pulled up to the car wash there was no crack. I do not appreciate my intelligence being played with and reassure that I will take proper action to see to it that I am reimbursed for the damage

This was my first visit here and maybe my last. The work was quality however the atmosphere was very unprofessional. Two employees were publicily accused of being late. One of the managers or potentially the owner (the guy who greets all customers and asks what kind of wash they would like)begins cursing and yelling at the two employees in front of the establishment and informs them if they are late again then they will be fired. As the two employees begin to walk away from the establishment, one of the employees says that his daughter is in the hospital sick and had received approval to come in at 10:00am from another staff member. As a professional establishment there is a more appropriate and professional manner to handle conflicts with your employees that does not involve public embarrassment of the employees to the general public/customers. The workers do quality work however the condition of their working environment is hostile. Ryan, the manager was the last person I interacted with and he was very professional and pleasant! Which is why I would consider giving them another chance.

Ryan was very friendly and spoke with me as soon as I pulled in. He explained that the prices on their website were old and weren’t able to be changed. My car was *filthy* from pollen caked on, so I totally understood it would be pricey. I asked for inside and outside detailing and paid for the seats to be shampoo’d. With tip, I paid $374.40. I wish I had looked a little more closely before I tipped 20% — on the outside, I barely recognized my car. It was beautiful! On the inside, at first glance it was great, but I noticed the attention to detail wasn’t really there. I’ll have to bring it by a vacuum place to finish between the seats (they even left trash in there), and there are splatters all over the dash. There was still loose first on the gearshift, and the driver’s side mirror had stuff caked on it (that i could remove with my hand). The place was recommended to me by a friend, so I was hoping for a better outcome! Overall, the car is definitely cleaner than when I brought it in, but for that price, I was really hoping for a truly detailed car.

I had been a long time customer of Auto Glo car wash across the street (over 15 years) and had a horrible experience with the owner…rude, unethical and unprofessional….with outrageous prices that have been purposely inflated post pandemic. I vowed NEVER to return. Fast forward 6 months with no car wash and I decided to visit Soap. This was my first time visiting this car wash and I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I pulled in all of the staff were courteous, helpful, and professional. My car was virtually spotless inside and out! They even went above and beyond my basic wash by buffing out some unsightly tire marks on my paint.…AND fixing my hood that wouldn’t stay shut!! Special thank you to Ryan (manager/owner) for the extra care! Much appreciated!! The indoor waiting area was comfortable and clean and the price and wait time were reasonable. I highly recommend this establishment for your car wash needs. I definitely plan to return regularly and hope my experience will continue to be positive.

I was quite concerned after reading all the negative comments. But my experience yesterday was quite pleasant. It is a quite hot morning. But the employees were very positive and they frankly recommended the service I need without pushing me to purchase the service. Right before I entered the car, the manager identified some dirty spots on the exterior ceiling and asked an employee to clean it. He was quite responsible. The only thing that needs improvement is indoor waiting area. It can be better with better cleaned sofa and chairs. But the whole experience is definitely worth the price. PS: as one of the reviewer mentioned, the manager also asked me to pay during the cleaning but pointed out that I can tip then or after the cleaning was finished. I think it is good to do that to streamline the process, because they are quite busy and I as a customer actually want to pay in the air-conditioned room rather than paying after outdoor inspection in the sun.

Soap SUCKS!!!!! Very nasty manager! NEVER AGAIN! These people actually have a sign that says “be nice or leave” for their customers. So your job as customer seems to be to make everyone feel good. Lol Everyone was looking at me, but not offering any assistance when I arrived. I asked several ppl for help; but they ignored me, and just as I was about to leave someoneA comes over, in retrospect wish he hadn’t. Car not clean after so called wash. Water still running off car, when should be dried off. Dirty windows. Slum, rush job. Nasty manager~argued with me, attempted to slam my door in my face~ told me not to come back~ total jerk! He was upset that I complained to the checkout person when I said I I wanted the 20.00 basic wash. I didn’t know basic meant not clean at the end. What’s funny is that I didn’t actually complain, I enquired. Nevertheless he’s a silly, petty, crybaby. Really bad customer service.

I’ve came to this location a couple of times to receive service for my vehicle. Unfortunately, I wasn’t satisfied with this last service as I always like to give small businesses a shot to earn my business. First, the car wash was $50 which isn’t a problem. It becomes a problem when they aren’t providing the best service. My car wasn’t filthy at all. Mainly pollen on the interior of the vehicle. They missed the whole entire seat and it was extremely rushed as I just watched them perform the service. I will not return to this location, but if you get your vehicle washed here make sure you are triple or quadruple checking to ensure your car is clean for the amount they are charging. By the way, I was almost satisfied with the exterior but a spot or two was missed as well.

This location has a rude, nasty and arrogant so-called owner. As I drove in my SUV around 4:30 pm today and asked about their closing time, believing they normally close at 5 pm, the owner rudely asked me to leave since they are closed and he does not need customers with bad attitude!!! I was shocked since I and family have been using this facility for a while! I then told him all of my extended family, friends, and hopefully neighbors will no longer use his business because of his nastiness and arrogance! he angrily responded that he has a lot of money and does not need our business and uncontrollably shouted that since I drive a HONDA I don't have money and to leave his property!!! We will NEVER EVER use his utility at Cheshire Bridge again.

First off, if you're trying to save money then just wash your car yourself. I go here every couple months to get the "Ultra" package ($30) where they'll vacuum and wipe down the inside of the car as well. Always been happy with the results and the car looks great after. Docking a star only cause they don't usually clean the rims fully (only takes about a minute to touch up though) and because they don't always swap out the cleaning rags often enough and you might see a little dirt or swirl marks. That and the Rain-X (+ $10) is only on the windshield which is a little steep...a bottle of Rain-X is less than that and will last you 2 years. Overall a good place, pretty quick service and there's a comfortable enough seating area to wait.

I was in Atlanta in March of 2022 visiting family and my Audi was covered in road dirt and rain streaking. I brought my car into Soap Hand Cart Wash for detailing and was not disappointed. The owner was polite, courteous, and professional. I paid for auto detailing and wax. To say I was thrilled with the results is an understatement. The detailing and waxing was performed expeditiously and the results were amazing. My Audi S7 looked brand new and sparkling. The detail on the car when they were finished was as if the car had been prepped for pickup right out of the showroom. The car gleamed from roof to tires - top to bottom. This company is highly recommended if you are looking for a tip top detailing of your automobile.

Got my car washed their about a week ago for the first time. Upon my arrival I was greeted by a guy who asked me what kind of car wash I would like. I told him basic, that's when everything went downhill. He told me vacuuming would cost extra and scoffed at me. Like I was being cheap or something. I just said that's ok the basic wash is fine. My car comes around to get washed and they seems to do a solid job on the car. Upon watching my car get dried off etc I keep hearing the same guy who greeted me yelling at his guys. Just being disrespectful to them and after that I told myself I would never come back. I also watch this same man get into an altercation with a customer. The guy is a total hothead. Customer beware.

One of the worst car washes I've ever had especially for $20 plus that only gets you an ok wash a vacuum and NO interior cleaning. The signage needs to be better because if I understood that they would not clean my interior for that price I would have not done it. Apparently I needed the $30 wash to get windows clean. The guy who sold me could have made this more clear as well. It's also 30 degrees outside and they have a room for you to wait in that feels colder than outside. Oh the two guys that felt my pain and were going to be nice and clean my inside windows were over ruled by the manager because the owner was there. The worst!!!!! I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.

I’ve been coming here for years and they always do a great job. The owner and management are very involved and they want to make sure the job is done right. I have had so many problems at other washes where I pay extra for specialty services and they always “forget to do it”. That does not happen here. I don’t feel like I’m throwing away my money. I also see folks upset below with the wash but that’s because people in GA want that fake southern hospitality and don’t like real honest people who do a great job. Just my 2 cents. I genuinely love this place and I’m coming back as long as I’m still in GA. Thank you guys! Can’t believe I waited years to write something.

Please read the responses from the owner to the negative reviews. And then decide if you want to give your business to someone who will speak to other human beings that way. There are other car washes in Atlanta. If you can’t be kind to people, that reflects not on just you but also on your business. Please rethink your approach. I used to come to this place often, and came to this page just to remind myself of the address. Seeing the owner’s response to reviews is why I will be going elsewhere. It appears that he doesn’t care about losing my business, but I will say that I am open to giving it another try if things change.

The owner was extremely rude to all the employees and his customers. I asked for three things in particular to be cleaned on my car and none of those three things were done. Maybe it's because the employee I told them to walked out because of the owners attitude. Literally two employees left during my 30 minute experience here. When I walked up to the owner to try and show him my issues, he would not even look. He just yelled at someone else to fix it and told me to take a seat. Overall he was rude and hostile with me. I payed 50 bucks to get stressed out. Will not return. And highlynot recommended.

I went to Soap today because I spilled a drink on my drivers seat. I paid $55 for the wash and seat cleaning. I come outside 30 minutes later and my air conditioning system was completely broken out of console. Like the person washing it pushed it way too hard. The owner was there. He was extremely rude and seems to have serious anger issues. They took no responsibility so I know I am out $65 and another couple hundred from Nissan to fix AC unit. The owner is a short little angry man and his business is a scam. Never go here. I am looking into ways to be repaid for the damage done.

My car looked incredible after Soap by Hand Car Wash cleaned it!!! I work in the field, so my car had dried mud on the seats and in the truck. They shampooed all of the gunk out, did a detailed cleaning of the inside and the outside looked great as well! They also gently scraped off the old pen paint that was on my hatch back. Additionally, the manager and staff were very kind. The manager came over with me to look at my car to make sure I was satisfied and if I had not been, said he would’ve had them re-clean. 5 stars! Tip them nicely, it’s hot out there and they do a great job!

The worse car wash I have very experienced. Also the worse customer service I have ever experienced. I was told that a spray was would last me for at least a month. It rained 2 days later and I had water spots all over my car. When I called to ask if possibly they forgot to apply the wax the man who says he is the owner was beyond rude. I have read other reviews about Soap car wash and I am not the first customer to complain about his attitude. I hope his other customers wise up quickly. The best cure for a rude, crude abusive business owner is an empty pocket.

I was honestly going back and forth after reading the reviews, but they literally did an amazing job. The crew was cleaning for over 1.5 hours. Given how much time they spent on the car, the price was more than reasonable. Also, they also tell you up front what they will do and what the cost is (its also posted) - I had no surprises. In fact, I felt they did more than what I expected so I left them a nice tip. Found my new spot! Asked their detailing prices and thats more than reasonable too so I'll come back for that next. Thanks y'all! Made my day.

Stopped by this spot to get a hand wash on my car today. After I leave, at some point I look at my cup holder where my USB adapter is plugged in only to realize it’s not there. I check my ashtray where I keep loose change and realize all my silver coins are gone and it’s only pennies in the tray. Can’t tell you how pissed I am. Update: The owner called me back an like all the other negative reviews I got a bad attitude and he was very disrespectful. Cussing and telling me it’s my fault his employees stole from my vehicle. Never again.

These guys are the best. Have been using them for a few years and I'm happy every time I go. I have to park under pine trees at work, and my car gets covered in pine sap that turns hard. They somehow manage to get all the pine sap off, every time! And as for some of the 1 star reviews, these people either have personal issues or they're mistaken about which car wash they went to. Kristen says there is no indoor seating. This place has a good indoor waiting room with plenty of seating, and always has. Crazy people leave crazy reviews.

Auto Glo is primarily Mexican staffed with extremely hard working individuals. They really know how to clean a car. You wont leave this place with dirty wheels that is for sure. I went at 1pm on a Sunday and there was no wait. They hand wash and hand dry every nook and cranny. Their 20 dollar deal is a steal for what you get. The place is not pretty but that's not the point. I highly recommend this location to anyone. They charge 2 dollars extra for vans and SUVs I think which isn't too bad at 22 bucks total.

I’ve been to this carwash a few times and the service coupled with the customer service is always hit or miss. From sneaking charges to yelling at their employees!! Today was the last straw for me. I came in requesting a simple wash with tire shine. The owner tried to once again up-sell me on other services totaling $50. I said well I don’t need all of that today and I’ll stick with the regular. He gets an attitude so I said don’t worry about - I’ll take my business somewhere else. BUYER BEWARE

Great local car wash. I see a lot of comments about the price, but its worth every penny. My car was filthy, and the team did a mini detail before I had a road trip planned. Super expeditious and thorough. The manager, Ryan, even came by before I left to make sure everything was ok. I had spots on the roof of my SUV that I haven't been able to get off in a year. They made the car look like it was brand new. Appreciate you guys! I promise to not wait so long for next time.

Preformed services that were not asked for and did a poor quality job while doing it. if I'm paying over 100$ for a car wash before tip I expect them to not use a abrasive brush on my paint and then still have a incredible amount of dirt left on the paint while also missing plarts of the car. I went here assuming I would get a better wash for time spent because I have to use a self service place but next time I'll just do it myself if I want a shotty job for way less

This place does a great job cleaning my 2012 Jetta and I appreciate quality work. I wish more people realized the amount of damage that mechanical car washes cause to the paint and clear coat on cars. This is the primary reason I only use hand wash car washes. I would do it myself, but living in midtown, I don't have the space or place to do that. I highly recommend this business and appreciate the hard work of the men and women who provide this service to me.

This started out as superb service for a car wash. My car was having trouble starting and the guys did everything they could to help me. Ryan in particular was very helpful!! From trying to give me a jump, to putting the car in N to try and push it to giving me recommendations to body shops. They went above and beyond for me and I greatly appreciate it. You don't find that everywhere. Good hearted people here. I am really greatful.

Paid $25 for basic wash, wax, and interior clean with a tire shine. Really poor work. Several spots were left unclean as I walked around the car. Particularly on the lower sections. Also I was given attitude by a supervisor whole inquiring about paint stains not coming out. "Don't tell me how to run my business" he said. Will NEVER come back as I was up sold to pay for a $250 job for them to detail and Dona decent job.

New to the neighborhood and pass this place often. Finally decided to pop in. Glad I did. They were kind, friendly, relaxed, prompt, efficient, well priced, and respectful. Indoor or outdoor waiting areas a coffee station and a bathroom. This was my first car wash on my 3 week old mini van, and they were detail oriented and got her back to looking brand new. They’re stuck with me now, as I’ll be a regular.

DO NOT USE THIS CAR WASH This place is a scam . We tried to get our car washed and vacuumed and the staff tried to shame us into paying more for detail. When we told them "no thanks" they continued to insult us and tell us they "wouldn't be seen in our car". We generally don't review places even when the service is terrible, but this was too much. If zero stars was an option that's what we'd be giving.

I only trust Soap Hand Car Wash with my luxury cars, everywhere else uses a machine that scratches the clear coat. They take very good car of my car and have actually removed some light scratches other car wash machines have put in the clear coat! Highly recommend the Deep Rim Wash to get your wheels done properly, and also the Clay Bar treatment and Wax will blow your mind with the results!

The don’t have prices posted anywhere and quote random prices. The last three times I’ve went, the price has increased each time for the same reason “bug removal.” Today they quoted me $70 and I drove directly across the street and paid $45 for the same service (car wash and vacuum). These people are not legit and get angry if you question their pricing and the reason behind it.

This is the only place I will go to get my car washed and detailed! The owner is so nice and goes over everything with you to make sure that they didn't miss anything and if you see anything that they missed, he will do it right there for you! They are always fast, courteous, and friendly. They also have a nice outdoor area where you can sit and read a book while you wait.

The team at Soap worked very hard on a wax for my 2003 Lexus. I was one of the last employees of the day and they didn't hesitate to take me in. I picked up my car after 1 hour as they estimated and it looked shiny and new. There were a few small areas of the car that could have been worked on more for the price of the wax but overall I was pleased.

The people are nice but no way should it take 1 hour and 40 minutes to get a basic car wash. Their process is backwards. Their communication is lacking. The guy told me 50 minutes tops. You don’t know where to sit or who to pay and when to pay. They need more people. I don’t have time to sit here this long and will never visit this place again.

Admittedly this car wash isn't on the most beautiful stretch of road in the county. However, the level of detailing that they did on my car and my kids car seats was phenomenal! Even my children were impressed by the depth of shine they got out of my Toyota Camry! Will consider them for sure if I want to get any more in depth detail work!

David the owner of car wash is a great guy. He is fair and reasonable. Got my car damage on his property. He took care everything. Didn't have to spend a dime. He took care of my needs. Car rental etc. so thanks for being fair and honest and a man of your words. Thanks David. You just earn a loyal I am very satisfied customer. Great job.

Just moved back to Atlanta after four years in Miami and I am really glad to see these guys are still going. I’ve been three times since I’ve been back and each time I go the guys do an awesome job. The wheels are always shining and never have any issues. I particularly like the air conditioned waiting room and random snack options!

I just moved in the neighborhood and this is my new place! Make sure you have time because it’s a hand car wash it can take up to 45 minutes (no machines involved). But the hand wash means they pay attention to detail so I didn’t mind. Thank you Ryan for your hospitality in the process. Will be back once a month for a good cleaning.

The owner David use to be sooo nice today he was evil. I have been going to this car wash since I was a young girl . However, today I called to see about a outside car wash only...He said very nasty we are not doing that inside and out only! I will not be going back to this car wash...David you have a bad attitude change!!!

I started using Soap in 2020 and they do a great job! No complaints and have never had any issues with the owner or staff. In fact, I had a mechanical problem with my car and they were more than happy to assist. There is a nice seating area where you can chill while you watch your car being cleaned. Highly recommend!

My first time here it was such an easy and smooth process they left my car very clean and refreshing i liked that the manager Ryan checks over car and make sure you yourself are happy with it he even helped me removed some minor scratches without me asking very kind .. if you are considering them just try it out !!

Came here on Labor Day as it was one of the only places open. They did an amazing job on my car! For a deep clean at $30 I didn't expect much but they washed, dried, waxed it and everything to perfection. Everyone was working hard and moving quickly; I would definitely recommend this place for future car washes!

They do a good job, but are expensive. When I arrived, the owner gave me a disgusted look and commented on how dirty my car was. (Dude, it's car wash--what were you expecting?) While I was waiting for my car, he was screaming at his employees. It was unpleasant to listen to, and I feel bad for the staff.

The guys at the carwash always taking care of every car like its there own. My favorite part about this wash, that they pay attention to details like the wheels ,windows ! They even open the gas cap so no water leaks out after the wash. Would recommend this to anyone. 10 out of 10 on every car wash

I’ve been coming to soap hand car wash for years now and I will say that they will remain my go to detailer in Atlanta!! They always go above and beyond to make sure that you leave content. Whether it’s a basic inside and out for a full detail…you will not be disappointed with their work!

I go here about every three months and get my old ford treated to one of the higher end detailings. The folks here leave it shining as close to new as possible. The team is friendly, professional as hell and fast working. I drive up from south Atlanta for Soap. They're that good.

They scratched my brand new car, and I know for a fact it was due to their car wash. I have a long scratch about 8 inches across the car. Furthermore, these reviews are horrible. Given the owner's response, I should have never come here to begin with. Now I need my car repaired.

My car was beginning to smell funky after a spill this weekend. The guys at soap got it all taken care of in less than an hour with only some details missed. They were happy to take care of everything pointed out during inspection and charged a fair price. I'll be back!

Listen. Dontwaste your time and money looking for other places. Very nice people, fast and efficient. You have to make sure all areas are dried to your liking and windows are done correctly. Other than that. Really nice place. I've taken my truck and both my cars.

They tried to scan me. I usually pay them $24 for wash and vacuum. Yesterday, I was quoted $50. I told him no, I wanted the $24 plan. He said $50 was the lowest. Maybe because I drive a Porsche?? Well I didn't get the car by being stupid. Never trust them!

Wanted $45 to merely clean the exterior of my 4runner. A joke. They said something about the manager being strict. Looking at these comments I'm getting the idea...Went down the street to 2 Minit wash - they did it for $12 and looks great!

We here today to get our two cars detailed. Great job, well done, very friendly staff. Will be my new goto place for car wash. Be sure to get there at a good time. When packed, it will take over an hour. But the quality is worth the wait.

They do a very nice wash. You rarely need to point anything out but if you find a little something not to your liking, they'll immediately correct it. They are and will continue to be my 'go-to' car wash of choice.

I was so impressed with the quality of my car wash and the professionalism of the staff. I have a sedan that needed a good scrub plus pet hair vacuum and door jams cleaned- cost $55 - very worth it!

I have been coming to Soap for 2 years consistently. I always get great service and the attention to detail is like no other. I definitely recommend these guys.

On the phone it was $35, when I pulled up it rose up to $75. I never paid more than $30 in Miami. Feel like they use a tactic to pull you in. Just Too much.

Quick service. I bring my 3 wheelers here. They do close at like 430pm on weekdays though. So definitely plan ahead on getting in early.
