Drove 50 minutes to check this place out because of an Instagram influencer post and I have lost so much credit for them now. Tl;dr - Dry and cold chicken pieces overshadowed by mere side dishes. Take your $40 and enjoy some proper Korean fried chicken elsewhere (or even a pub steak) and save yourself the disappointment and stomach ache. == The KFC == Take a look at the picture of the dry-as-hell chicken I took. The kitchen clearly isn't experienced with cooking times because some pieces were dry and some were fine. But when every piece of chicken is a Russian Roulette, you only remember how bad the experience is. Chicken pieces were smaller than expected. Maybe twice the size of a Macca's chicken nugget. I tried a bunch of flavours and some of them were mediocre, like the "Vietnamese chicken" (which was just the original flavour with Vietnamese style sauce), and the Mala Mala chicken (which was super oily and not properly salted). The batter on the chicken was terrible as well. It was either too hard (not crispy) or soggy. Likely once again because the kitchen doesn't know their cooking times for chicken breast and chicken thighs individually. To top it all off, the chicken wasn't even served hot. It was warm to slightly cold once it hit our table, and that was after waiting 30 minutes for it after ordering. == The Sides == Imagine the sides being the best part of the meal. Cheese corn was delicious but how can you mess that up? I wanted to save half of it to eat with the chicken but by the time the chicken did come, the cheese had hardened. The restaurant knows what they're doing with their tteokbokki, and how large of a serving they give you. The plate that it comes in has more volume than 20 pieces of chicken. This was a huge mistake to order, and took away too much stomach space for something I only really wanted a bite of. Kimchi dumplings had nice and crispy skin, but mushy filling. So it was okay at best in my opinion. Chips were nice and well seasoned, but they shouldn't have been the star of the show. Also, the free pickled dishes they give you with everything were nice and refreshing. But I'm not paying $40 for this... == The service == The place wasn't even packed for dinner service (red flag) and we had to wait 30 minutes for the chicken order to be served, only for the chicken to be lukewarm to slightly cold at the first bite. Communication between the kitchen and the floor team needs improving for sure.

this place is more known for their bar at night but we decided to try it out for lunch on a Sunday. To satisfy those korean cravings We got a fair amount of food as we wanted to try out their menu. You know when you’re hungry at 2am and decide to cook a whole meal? All of these dishes tasted like that. So I wouldn’t say “homemade” as it was not quality. It tasted easy. It tasted like it had no love The KFC was drier than the Sahara desert and the sauce on the spicy one was SOO thicc that it was so hard to eat! The sauce would cool down and get even thicker. The snow cheese on the chicken was the best part of the kfc… The corn dog was meh. Tasted frozen. The rabokki was actually the most decent out of the feed and it was pretty good! The sauce was nice and not too thiccc, still runny to coat the noodles and it had a good sweet, spicy taste. It was yummy but it wasn’t “wowwww”. Sadly, cravings were not satisfied :/ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/6 for more local casual eats in the area! head to my ig @hangryhawlz (:

The restaurant looks lovely and clean but the food and service is below average at best. We had a reservation but our table was given to someone else and despite there being many other free tables we were offered to sit at the bar instead of getting a table. When we declined, suddenly there was a table available. We ordered seafood hangover noodles, boiled dumplings, bulgogi and sweet chilli fried chicken. Though the sweet chilli fried chicken was delicious everything else was not. The boiled dumplings were over cooked and tasted and felt like mush dipped in way too much sesame oil. The seafood noodles weren’t anything special and really didn’t have any more seafood than one prawn, one mussel and one baby octopus. Although there were many tables available they only seemed to seat people right next to each other without much distancing. The waitstaff however were polite and kind despite the table issue.
Had a great time here during off-peak hours. Staff are extremely friendly that I felt the need to ensure we said our thanks and bye before we left . The food was also very good. The Korean fried chicken is cooked to a great crisp texture. The seafood tofu stew was also very hearty and I don't even like seafood! The fishy taste from seafood was hardly even there. Soju social's bar also had a great variety of mixes with Soju as well as other great mixed shots. Great for any fan of Soju already . It was also great to try out the Halloween special drinks for the Halloween event today (all were good). There was a pool table for some entertainment as well as a smoking area which is a neat touch for the bar section of this restaurant. Overall had a really good time and am looking forward to coming back!
We booked a table of 14pax and had the mong table next to the pool table. Service was fast, good vibes, food was average. The fried chicken is what most people order. I'd recommend the volcano special fried rice (if you can handle the heat!) with melted cheese. If you're a soju lover, this is the place to go with your friends - they have various flavors except original. They also have soju cocktails. They have pool table, outside area (for smokers) and more tables inside. Huge TV for you to watch your favorite team whilst hanging out with your mates. The location is really good as you've got a club, karaoke and arcade games upstairs. Really a great place to do everything you want without having to walk anywhere else!

Hubby and I went for dinner and drinks. We had boneless sweet chilli chicken, veg fried rice and soju (a bottle of peach and a bottle of apple mango). Was really nice and we enjoyed, however website says it closes at 12am but they told us that night they are closing at 11pm. Bit disappointing as we had gone there late and could not take our time to finish our drinks. I would visit again but maybe go earlier next time. Loud, chill vibe - quite a diverse mix of music with electronic and slow rnb.

One of the best places where you can get Korean fried chicken (KFC)! My partner and I quickly became a regular at this place because the food is amazing, the service is so friendly and the waiting for your food to arrive is short. Definitely recommend their soy flavour KFC and sweet chilli or if you prefer spicy with a bit more kick then definitely recommend the extra spicy version. Their hot pot is very generously sized and has the perfect amount of flavour and seasoning. Their service is amazing and they’re always so accommodating. If you’re looking for a bar or want to sit down with friends to have a drink, this is the place to go to
Came in a large group and was quite satisfied with our experience. Menus codes on the table don’t work so staff took our orders. One notable thing was a certain lady definitely did not enjoy working there as soon as she placed our orders she would dart away even when we tried calling upon her. This happened twice so it was definitely a reoccurring thing, and coincidentally someone else ended up serving us for the remainder of our time. We did see her later elsewhere. Besides that, the food was great and plentiful. I wasn’t able to photograph everything as we were on a long table.

Had a massive birthday celebration here the other day and the staff were incredibly accomodating and friendly despite the busy environment. Food was delicious ( must try the fried chicken flavours and stews) and authentic with a few different variations and flavours to try out such as the Vietnamese Fried Chicken and Tropical fried chicken. Drinks were refreshing and the bartender was incredibly friendly and gave us free shots! Staff were very friendly and accomodating to our big group. Massive thank you for making our birthday dinner a special one!

Soju Social is exactly what Bankstown needed! An awesome Korean restaurant and bar with an extensive menu - perfect for groups. It’s a perfect location to catch up with friends over soju and Korean food. The menu contains all your classics: many options of fried chicken, hot pots, bim bim bap, noodle dishes & more. Huge portions & good price. The entire staff team are incredibly friendly, attentive and helped to cater for my dietary requirements. Thank you Soju Social for a great night, I can’t wait to come back & bring some more friends to experience this new local gem. Wishing you success.
The chicken is delicious, perfectly crispy exterior and super tender juicy interior. The different flavours are phenomenal, we ordered the soy and snow one and both were really good. If you like the combination of sweet and savoury with a cheesy taste I recommend the snow one. If you like saucy savoury flavour the soy is a good choice without it being spicy. I've also had the original one previously and love that too! The drinks here are a great value and really yum! The staff are very friendly and accommodating Highly recommended this place for a night out with friends and family
Day: Thursday Time: 12:30 (approx) Food ordered: kimchi pork pan cake, chilli fried chicken, snow fried chicken, soy fried chicken, sweet potato sticks, mozarella sticks. I feel like i've had better (can't remember where), but it wasn't bad. I mean, if you down a few shots of Soju, the food would taste amazing. It is a 'bar' after all. Staff were very very friendly and welcoming. Insanely pretty too! Even though we came during the day, i can clearly see how this venue would vibe during the night. 100% would recommend for groups of friends wanting to vibe on a Friday, Saturday night.
recently visited and found a chill vibe, with fast service and tasty korean food we ordered the kimchi stew, korean fried chicken, mozzarella sticks, and some cocktails! i enjoyed most of the food but wished they had a boneless option for the chicken. the mozz sticks were amazing, so stretchy ☺ the kimchi stew was great but tbh very expensive compared to other places! the melona cocktail was great and had a distinct honeydew flavour mixed with soju! and the tropical mocktail was also a hit with fresh passionfruit and orange check out my food insta @erinxeats for more!
Favourite new restaurant and bar in Bankstown. The customer service is exceptional, attentive and friendly, which will make me definitely return in the future. The process of ordering and table service has changed the game; i.e. the QR code and button system. There was a little mishap as one of my dishes didn’t show up on their system but the staff went above and beyond to fix it. And the FOOD! So fast and fresh, you can’t wrong with the fried chicken and dumplings. The drinks are good too. If you’re in the Bankstown area, definitely check this place out. The vibes are great here.
Soju Social offers delicious food, but my recent dining experience was soured by the rude behavior of the staff. While ordering, the server accused us of not using the correct QR code provided on the table, even though it was the only one we had used. She became aggressive and tapped the table repeatedly while insisting that we use the "correct" QR code. While the food was enjoyable, the poor customer service left a bad taste in my mouth. Hopefully, the staff can improve their professionalism in the future and provide a more enjoyable dining experience for customers.
Best KFC (Korean fried chicken) you’ll find in Sydney. Amazing atmosphere, good place to go to party, drink, eat or chill. Can’t fault them on a single thing. The cocktails are so good, and the food has become my comfort go to choice. Good place to book a party! Or go out for a night of drinks and food! They have a pool table as well, and when your day the Center has so many other things to do!

Not recommend this restaurant. We experienced electric outage during the meal and none of the stuff came to say anything about it. There were only 2 tables at that time! Asked for take away containers and been told I have to pay for them. However I refused to pay as it was rediculous to dine in in the dark. Food is below average and expensive. The kimchi entree was tasted like off.. Anyway it was a sad experience....

Wanted to try this place based on good reviews. Tried the fried chicken and it's one of the best I've had, very crunchy and well seasoned also tried the seafood tofu hotpot. It was lacking flavour. There was only 3 banchan, which is why I couldn't give 5 starts for the foof. The place had a nice vibe & food came out quite quickly. Parking is free for the first 3 hours.

Came during peak hour with my family and had to wait a bit to be seated. Rabokki, corn cheese, steamed egg, kimchi stew and snow cheese fried chicken are a must try here. Drinks were also good, had a lychee soju slushy which was incredibly refreshing. Appreciate the bar staff for helping us choose our drinks as we weren't well verse with alcoholic drinks and catered towards our tastes. The staff and bartender are so friendly and fun to talk to. Thanks to the kitchen and wait staff for making this a memorable experience. Will definitely be back.
Good vibes, ok interior Does not taste like the typical Korean food. I ordered black bean noodles, soft tofu soup and kimchi pancake. None of these tasted like what you'd normally expect - too sweet, lacking some of the deeper garlic taste, bland, soggy etc etc. I could teach a child to make better Jjajang myeon and soft tofu soup.. it was quite ridiculous. I used to order deliveries for army stew & bulgogi stew which are great (except again, both on the sweeter side) I would only come here for drinks tbh, it's a great place for parties.
Me and my husband always coming there for their amazing fried chicken and the hot pot, but today was different during my husband finishing his food and i packed the food for take away because we need to pick up our son in 30min, with my handful hand the lady whose work there took my youngest son and entertained him while I’m doing my stuff, you just made our day thank you so much The service always been good !!!

Over hyped, over priced menu.. service is average thou when food came had to wait 8min to get cutlery and plates because none was given… food was nice but again did not match the price. The cocktails are to weak compared to your average bar cocktails. Bill $155.. Don’t mind the money if the standards of food is delivered but sadly everything was your average Korean food. $15-$19 for cocktails at lease make them worth drinking mine just tasted weaker then a pineapple cruiser. Overall 2 star.
One of the best Korean restaurants in the Sydney area. Fried chicken is awesome! Super crispy and tasty. The hot and crispy fried chicken was the stand out. All the other dishes we had was also very good! The only tiny thing wrong was that the beef bulgogi soup was a bit too salty, but still good. A must try, especially if you dont want to go into the city. And it isnt too expensive!! Will definately be back.

Very nice we had the Chicken Cajun salad which was amazing as to the beef bibimbap. We struggled a little with the seafood ramen asked non spicy they did take back and try to make again non spicy unfortunately still a little spicy for our child to eat perhaps because they just removed the soup ingredients from spicy soup and used a non spicy soup base, hence 4 stars otherwise it would be a 5 star rating. We will definitely come back perhaps not order the ramen just in case.

To put it simply, “exceptional customer service” was nowhere to be seen like the 5 star reviews by other people. There were no basic etiquettes, not inviting or welcoming, and no politeness. The food was extremely bad that we had to force feed ourselves. How can you get Korean food so wrong? One dish we got even tasted off I put it aside straight away. The idea of the place is cool but executed horribly. Scam to non-Koreans. Will never ever come back to this place.
Nice Korean food. They had 3 side dishes and an interesting menu. The boiled dumplings was quite nice, never tried anything like it. It was like a wonton soup but with dumplings. The bimbimbap was delicious however it needed more meat. We wanted to play pool but you have to buy drinks to play Will be back to try their drinks

We came to the restaurant at 5. 40pm Saturday 13th February, our table number was 10. A not very good experience, the restaurant looks very clean, but when the food come is different, first has obvious stain on the water glass, and then there are residual's lipstick on the soju glass, although restaurant giving two cups of Kpop short as an apology, but during the outbreak of COVID - 19 health conditions are really worrying, not to come again in the future.
I’ve tried their sweet chilli chicken , as that flavour is my all time favourite. I used to go to Macquarie centre before whenever I craved for fried korean chicken. Now I have found a better place near my home. The chicken is crispy outside and very tender inside. Also their cheesy corn is a must try. It’s really yummy!

I usually come here a lot of times, half the time it’s really 5/5 and the other is not… we went yesterday and the chicken was soft and still pink. Had to eat around it but it really threw us all off since we have had better. This has also happened with the katsu being too hard to eat and pink as well sometimes. Usually besides the chicken, everything else is pretty good. It’s just because the chicken is the main dish for us that it’s upsetting
Me and my best mates have been there three times since it opened! We absolutely love it! The drinks and food are just great! The atmosphere is spot on! The staff are just amazing and so welcoming! They now know us by name and when we're calling to make a booking! We love it haha Shout out to our favourite waitresses Sarah and Zoe! Great with customers and so friendly. Great place! We will definitely be regulars
Had a lunch date with my daughter here. We ordered steamed egg, super spicy chicken, soy sauce chicken and bulgogi bimbimbap. All tasty! The portion is super generous. We'll be back for dinner next time with family. For those who loves pool table, there is a huge one to play while waiting for your food to be served. Service was great. Our waiter/s were quick, efficient and friendly.

Absolutely amazing!! I can't remember the last time that I had been out for dinner, where the food was delicious, the vibes were great and the staff were very friendly! My husband and I ordered 5 dishes (entrees included), all were delicious! I told the waitress that I love kpop and she asked which group; I told her Monsta X and she ended up playing their songs for the night! Highly, highly recommended!
Had a catch up with me mates tonight and I must say that the professionalism and service from the staff is top notch. Such quick delivery with the food and the friendly nature of the staff makes it a memorable night. Will definitely recommend this place to all my friends. If any of those that is reading this review, I urge you to give this place a go, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Soju Social!!

CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH. The flavours of both the food and drinks are so damn good. TRY THE KPOP SHOTS!!! The $10 snacks are a must try, like the tako wasabi and chilli chicken wings. The only downside is I didn't have enough stomach to try more. ALL the staff are so friendly. It's kind of place that makes me plan my next visit back as I'm still eating. Amazing decor and vibes too!

Had so much fun with my friends here last week. Uplifting vibe, great music. All the staffs were so lovely, and soo polite, always smiling even the restaurant was soo packed. We even went to karaoke upstair(Same building) cause we didnt want the fun to end yet :p Very Convenient To go out for drinking, since its right in the area. Cause who goes to city anymore right?
Drove 40 mins and walked in at 10 35pm as it said they were open till 12am on Saturdays. As soon as I walked in I was told they were "actually" closed. When I asked why they had 12am on Google they told me that that was for people who were already inside and the Kitchen closed at 10 30pm. There was only 1 group inside and more staff than that group.

I have been here twice and I have absolutely loved it! I ordered the fried chicken which was hands down the best fried chicken that I have ever tasted. I also ordered spicy chicken ramen and mozeralla sticks which was also amazing! Oh and I ordered a cocktail which was so full of flavour! The staff are really nice and I cannot wait to go back to try more!

My friends and I visited on 23rd April as a group of 6. Food and drinks were great! We ordered the snow chicken, spicy chicken, steamed egg, volcano kimchi fried rice, cheese ddeokbokki and jjajangmyeon. The only dish we didn't like was the jjajangmyeon as it tasted strange but everything else was delicious. Will definitely be back again.
Got lunch with 3 other friends when it wasn't too busy. The chicken options are great and the share dishes were good sized portions. Only negatives are the black bean noodle portion was a bit small for how much it cost and the bottle of soju was a bit expensive.

We've been coming here for the past couple of months due to the high quality of their Korean fried chicken. There are many flavours to choose from and plenty of side dishes. However, the seafood pancake was a letdown because it was soggy. Don't need to wait for a table even without a booking.
Easily a 5/5 place. The staff is super friendly and polite, service is very prompt. Portions were good, taste and crispness of the cripsy chicken was . Highly recommended. Only slight caveat was the lack of toilers inside but there is one nearby outside within the shopping centre. …
One of the best places for Korean fried chicken in Sydney! Been here a few times since they opened and it's always been a great time. Food is good, atmosphere is good. Couldn't ask for more really. Great spot for food and pre-drinks and then kicking on at karaoke at Replay upstairs.
The place wasn’t that busy when we got there but it took us a while to get the food. The food was colourful and packed a punch but it wasn’t salted enough. The chicken was great though. I will say the stunner of this location has to be their Soju cocktails. They were all so lovely.

Fried chicken was good. Soy garlic is best. Staff recommended the “tropical” fried chicken which had citrus and orange flavors. Some things shouldn’t exist and this was one of them. I would have given 4-5 stars but was let down because the staff recommended a bad dish.
Was in the area so thought I'd stop buy to order takeaway. Service was quick, the waitress/owner/manager was friendly. Snow cheese chicken was soft and tender, way better than Arisun. Would definitely stop by just for the fried chicken if I'm in the area again! Thanks!
Food is great, no faults. But the service is horrible. We had to ask for water, ask to clear the table to cut the birthday and ask for takeaway containers. Several times we had to go up to the waiters for service. No one asked if we’re okay or if we needed anything.
Food was alright, but we were over charged for multiple items we didn’t receive, working out to be about $60. Won’t be going back.

Great relaxing and trendy vibe for dining-in! Also the food is excellent to even just take-away and eat at home, which we did quite a few times during the recent pandemic’s stay-at-home public health orders (luckily this restaurant was in our LGA ) …

Fantastic Korean food. Good venue, they even have a bar and pool table. One thing though, there aren't enough staff. Ordered drinks and never received them as the only waitress was run off her feet between delivering food and seating customers.
Awesome Korean fried chicken; great variety to choose from! Would come back to try other dishes. Great vibe to drink with a group of friends. Good system with ordering via QR code, easy when sorting out the bill. Very smart!
We got free shots on the house. Every time we were served Flow was so lovely. Please give her a pay raise. Thank you. Flow and Lisa have amazing customer service Amazing food too! WOW! Lisa is such an amazing worker!
A good place for your families and friends at the weekend. Staffs were friendly and nice. They do care about you and your table. Food are delicious. Highly recommended, 5 starts! I will definitely come back in the future.

Food was amazing in terms of taste and flavour, its exactly how it's in the menu, staff service is really nice and friendly, the place generally is nice and music is a vibe that's a whole on its own.
Amazing service, even during crowded times. The staff really go above and beyond for its customers and the food is so delicious! Will be coming back for sure! There were no cons to this place ✌️
Came here with a large group on a Saturday night. The team at soju social were very friendly and accommodating. Food was great, but atmosphere was even better. Would definitely be coming back.
Hope to return soon! Coolest vibes, amazing atmosphere, great tasting food and alot to offer. Drinks were great and the pool table even better! Cheers to the staff for being so attentive.
Soju Social Club is the epitome of amazing Korean food coupled with awesome soju shots! Great atmosphere and vibe! Reminds me of DANBAM from Itaewon Class. Zoe is the best! Xoxo

Everything here is decent. Decent food, decent vibes, decent prices. Give it a go if you're keen on some korean fried chicken, but don't expect anything amazing.

Ok the sweet chilli fried chicken is lovely and the nuclear ramen (hella spicy) is something I would go back for. Overall an amazing place to hang out
The best place to go in Bankstown. The fried chicken kills Nashville hot chicken any day of the week. Staff are friendly. I will be back... often!!
Best food, best service. Yummiest Korean fried chicken served with a shot of Glenfiddich by a gorgeous hot pot of mixed cultural delights. Enjoy!
Fantastic experience, staff were quite attentive and food was great (had the beef and mushroom hotpot). Looking forward to eating there again!
Terrible service, slow and unfriendly. Picked radish side dish tasted bad and unlike anything I've ever had at other many korean restaurants.
Food is ok, good portion size and taste. But man you need to train your staff, one ear out another, so distracted and all over the place.
Wow. Had lunch here today, and I was impressed!! Best Korean in the area! Service was excellent. Cant wait to tell my friends.

Overcooked . Tastes like day old chicken. Rubbery and obviously fried multiple times and left to sit. Not happy.
