I had been eager to check the store out for quite a while. I was in the neighborhood celebrating with my mom for Mother’s Day and it was a perfect opportunity. First, I witnessed an employee bringing out flowers to a bedecked group, also obviously celebrating the day. Second, a customer came in looking for a last minute bouquet and though technically out of bouquets, a team member whipped something up for him. Inside was a calming welcoming atmosphere and every random question I had was knowledgeably and enthusiastically answered (prices also very reasonable for beautiful plants, containers and handmade products). Finally, my mom had a medical emergency while there and the entire staff assisted us way and beyond standard customer service. THIS is what Community looks like. Please check this place out for their beautiful products, but also for the sheer friendliness, support and compassion that they bring to the neighborhood and community.

Had a very good experience working with solabee to order flowers for my wedding. We encountered a small problem with my order and Evelyn addressed it immediately. When I was unable to take my flowers home with me after stopping by to pick them up, she arranged for them to be delivered at no cost to me later the same day. I left thinking it would take her a few hours to iron out our problem and that I would hear from her the following day. Instead, she clearly worked it out ASAP and I received a call from her within a half hour of leaving the shop and she had worked out everything and was extremely accommodating to me. I felt cared for and appreciated and I don't think I have ever had a better customer service experience in my life. Great charming staff with a high standard for customer service. Oh, and the flowers were fresh and beautiful!!

I'm very lucky to have previously worked with Alea and Sarah and regularly "liked" things on Instagram because of that. When it came time to pick a vendor for wedding flowers, there was only one option. I met with Evelyn once and she was able to get a small idea of what we were looking for and from that created the most beautiful arrangements. We had 2 bouquets, 3 boutonnieres, and 2 alter arrangements. I came into the church and saw my bouquet and was breathless. The flowers are so natural to the area and season because of how Solabee sources them. We opted to rent vases and bringing them back on Sunday after our wedding was super simple. The corgi welcoming committee is certainly a plus!

I'm comfortable re-potting small plants, but I asked for their help re-potting a Chinese Fan Palm from a 10" pot to two 12" pots. The Palm was thriving and had become root-bound, and I wanted to give it some care. In the time of Covid, I was able to arrange everything via email, coordinate on a safe drop-off and pick-up and was super happy with both the process and end result. I bought some smaller plants and pots earlier this year, and they have thrived in the months since. They are courteous and great to order from. The plants and pots they sell are great quality. They're covid-safe. Please consider giving them your business. I'll be coming back.

I came here last month while visiting Portland. I was recommended by my tattoo artist who had a ton of beautiful plants in her studio which she stated she mostly got from Solabee, so obviously I had to see for myself. There was great selection, the plants were healthy and lush, and the staff was helpful. I got a beautiful rex begonia and a lil monstera. Unfortunately my begonia has gone to plant heaven (I’m so bummed, but turns out when a small earthquake knocks stuff on your plant it probably won’t survive), but my monstera is doing great. I will absolutely be back next time I’m in the Portland area.

I chose Solabee's elopement package for my wedding and I could not have made a better decision! I chose my color palette and told them our "vibe" and they took it over from there! It's a bit nerve-wracking not seeing your flowers until you pick them up, however, if you love Solabee's arrangements, I have no doubt you will love them. This is such an amazing, low maintenance, affordable option for people who don't have any specific flowers in mind. I recommend looking through their instagram to make sure you like their style. My flowers exceeded my expectations and I'm so, so pleased I chose them!

Incredibly impressed by Solabee's customer service. I went in yesterday to the Killingsworth location looking for a specific plant (and size) and although they didn't have it they answered all of my questions and recommended I try their NW location. I went over there and they didn't have the specific size I was looking for but they called their distributor to see if they could get something in for me. They went above and beyond and were incredibly friendly. Very refreshing to walk in to a plant store that doesn't feel pretentious or like you are bothering them with questions.

My husband and I used Solabee for our wedding flowers and we were SO impressed. Communication was always quick and they made the planning process very easy. Their arrangements were beautiful and we loved the wide selection. The flower crown and bridal bouquet were especially wonderful and exactly what I had imagined for my wedding day! The flowers got so many compliments from our guests and rightly so- Solabee knocked it out of the park. Delivery on the day was timely and very stress free. If you are looking for a wedding florist I highly recommend them! :)

We hired Solabee for their a la carte wedding services, and it was a fantastic decision. Our flowers were so beautiful and unique, so many guests comments on how beautiful they were. I think this particular service is great for someone like myself who doesn't necessarily have specific flowers in mind for their event. I felt totally comfortable and relieved to have Solabee take creative control of this aspect of the wedding. In addition to gorgeous flowers, Alea was so responsive and helpful. I can't recommend Solabee enough!

This is one of my favorite plant stores in Portland! Every single person I’ve ever interacted with here is so kind, genuine, and extremely helpful. They greet you when you come in and it always feels like a safe place. I haven’t gotten any flowers from here yet, but I have gotten 15+ plants. Their selection is always fantastic and the health, and appearance of each plant is perfect. They have a good variety of unusual plants as well as the classic favorites. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone

If you ever need plants or anything, go to Solabee’s. Highly recommend. They made a fresh Mother’s Day bouquet within my price range quickly and beautifully. They were careful and attentive despite how much foot traffic and orders they are already occupied with this weekend. They’re staff is always super cool and helpful. Solabee did my bridal bouquet and a boutonniere for my partner and they turned out so beautiful and STURDY. The bouquet looked exquisitely dainty but also held up so so well for our windy beach elopement, drives to and from the coast, and some manhandling here and there as one might expect on a beach elopement adventure. Everyone from ordering to pick up was super kind and excited for us which meant a lot! The dried bridal bouquet on our wall is so special and I’m so glad Solabee florists did it :)

I had a fantastic experience with the folks at this store, who worked with me on delivery timing and more. They encouraged input on the Designer's Choice bouquet I ordered which was the reason I decided to go with their shop (I really wanted to ensure the flowers would compliment the space they would go in), so I sent them a description of the recipient's style and a pic of the space, and they NAILED IT. My friend said they were the most beautiful flowers she's ever received. Thank you Solabee!

I got the elopement bouquet option where it’s a surprise with whatever they get at the market that day and it turned out so well. My only concern was that it would last several days as we had to pick it up on a Monday and our elopement was on a Wednesday, which I noted in my order. Well let me tell you, it was even more gorgeous on Wednesday as the blooms opened more. And even better, it lasted all day driving, hiking 5 miles and being blown around in the coastal wind!! I was so impressed.

Highly suggest Solabee for delivery! I ordered a Farm Fresh Designers choice arrangement (Medium) as a gift to my sister. I order this to be delivered to her as I live out of state. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful when I called with questions. Ordering was seamless, and the arrangement was huge and BEAUTIFUL! Better than I imagined. It also arrived on time. I always prefer to shop local and the staff told me the flowers are even local - a win win!

I ordered an "elopement package" and bulk floral from Solabee for my wedding and I was just in awe of the results. True was so communicative and easy to work with and I feel like she really listed to me and understood exactly what I wanted. I didn't even know exactly what I wanted--I just sent her inspo photos and a color palette and what she and her team came up with was just so so beautiful. HIGHLY recommend for wedding flowers!!

I ordered à la carte florals for my wedding including my bouquet and bud vases and they turned out absolutely stunning!! They honestly turned out better than I ever imagined! I got so many compliments on my bouquet. True was super communicative and the whole process was super easy. Delivery was an option and super helpful. Their place is full of beautiful large plants. I didn't look at prices since I was there to pick up an order of flowers. I had a great experience ordering from them. I emailed and they were quick to respond and gave me pricing and availability right away. I got a HUGE bundle of African marigolds for a friend's wake and it was pretty cheap

Horrible. I purchased a plant and pot for $100 and within two months it was all but dead. When I called and explained the situation they were unwilling to even consider replacing it but said Portland Nursery has a 100% guarantee. Thanks for the tip, I'll be shopping at Portland Nursery where they value their customers business.

I've been trying out some of the "designers choice" bouquets around the city and this review is based on that. Solabee's has the least expensive designers choice wrapped bouquet available for delivery and it was beautiful, but looked a bit like it sat in a hot car all day by the time it arrived. it was good in a pinch.

places call to see if they would deliver same day, they stated if the order is placed by noon .. YES! I placed before noon, order was delivered pretty quickly and looked much like what I saw on web page so, I was VERY pleased and it did exactly what I intended it to, it lifted my clients spirits! THANK YOU!

Solabee did flowers for my wedding and they were beyond my expectations! So beautiful, original, and well orchestrated. Their little shop in north Portland is so darling, its a must see jungle for sure. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Prices were good, product was amazing, highly recommended!

really beautiful, lush, shop. so many adorable plants, in the way that cacti, succulents, and air plants are adorable. there was also a selection of gorgeous flowers, as well as some lovely crystals & rocks. the sweet corgi hanging around in the shop really was the cherry on top of the visit here.

This plant shop is staffed by some very pleasant people and had some very beautiful as well as healthy plants. They really know how to lure you in with the lush forest like atmosphere as well as reasonably priced plants that won’t leave you feeling guilty about the money spent.

Serene, beautifully-presented shop with many unique plants to explore. Purchased a several ceramic pots and plants, and the sales associates assembled them with soil in-store with great care. Very pleasant experience all around, I like how they do things here.

Ordered flowers to be delivered for Valentine's day. The bouquet is beautiful, but some of the flowers were wilted on delivery. Very disappointing considering the price of the bouquet and the occasion it's meant for.
