Delicious food (Sonny Avo Toast), and best coffee I’ve had in Europe so far, such a shame everything else lets this place down. I know it’s Copenhagen Fashion Week so I can see they are probably busier than usual, and I can appreciate this extra stress as a hospitality worker myself, but it went beyond this. I walk up to the door, following in one of the waiters, who doesn’t notice me and closes the door in my face. No worries, he is busy, I get it. But he just stands in front of the door, talking to a customer - not serving, just a friendly chat. I know it is a narrow entrance, but I could not open the door without hitting his shoulder. I tried my best to knock, to open it slightly and say “excuse me”, to get his attention to step aside, but he was not paying any attention to anyone except this girl. After he finally moved and I got inside, no floor staff were available, so I ask the barista if I could take a seat for lunch. She explains that without a reservation there may not be a place, but on the bench or outside is ok. Finally, the same waiter who blocked the door comes over and I ask if i can see a menu, which he points to a pile. A food menu, I specify, the ones I could see had drinks only, and he rolled his eyes and showed my a QR code on the menu for the food. I felt like I was causing an inconvenience just for not knowing their system already. The waiter then told me that there was nowhere to sit, they are fully booked. It was just me, so I said I was happy to sit on the bench with the small side tables, and he looked annoyed like that was not a good option, and so I asked about sitting outside (which was empty), he said “do what you like”, and walked off. I was please when a female waiter took my order, and I got the avocado, without the egg add on option, and a coffee. I waited a long time for the food (was not offered water), and when it finally came it had an egg on it, but the waitress put it down so quickly that I couldn’t even get her attention to say so. After another few minutes, I get her attention, and she seems confused, which is possible that there was miscommunication, that’s fine, but then I was never told my meal was coming, or “sorry about that”, just took my plate and it was another 10 mins before food came out. Coffee was about 5 after food. Woman next to me ordered banana bread and asked for it 4 times after waiting about 20 mins (I actually left before she got it so she may still be waiting at this rate) I was sitting in front of the cake stand, and wanted to order a cake to go with my coffee after I had finished my toast, but another 15 minutes of trying to get someones attention, and I had finished my coffee. I was going to leave when I saw it was raining and then finally got the attention of an older and clearly much more competent male waiter who made me feel much more welcome. Unfortunately when the croissant arrived, I wanted to ask for cutlery, and the original male waiter acted like I was crazy for wanting a fork. Every time that I had been trying to get someones attention, I watched this guy pull out his phone every minute or so, chat extra with the girls, and almost purposely avoid serving anyone sitting on the bench. When I came up to pay, I stood near the counter being ignored for about 5 minutes again, before I could pay (and my bill had an extra cappucino and the egg I never asked for on it). Nobody asked how anything was, nobody said goodbye or thank you for coming (and the place was not as busy anymore when I left), and I left wishing I had just turned around when the waiter blocked the door for me to come in at the start. Im sure this place is great, and loved by locals, it feels very trendy and a nice setting, and I would recommend booking, but Managers, if you are reading this, you have a problem with staff attitude, particularly this guy(with the curls, I’ve seen other reviews mention it too). There is no excuse for treating customers like an inconvenience, or like they are stupid for not knowing exactly how the cafe runs. A real shame. (Yummy though)

Avocado Toast

This is a cute little Cafe for breakfast or lunch. We went for a late lunch, The coffee was good, and they have table service. I had the granola and yogurt with fruit. It was just the right amount, and they make their own granola. My husband had the avocado toast. He liked it, but I thought there was too much garlic. They do a lot of specialty juices also. It is super crowded, so you might think about reservations.

Granola and Yoghurt

The banana bread and coffee was very tasty. After I had my last piece of banana bread, the waitress approached us to remove the plates (even though my friend still had some banana bread left) and told us that we needed to leave within 5 minutes as the next guests were waiting. We had been there not even for an hour! I would hope that when reserving a table it should at least be available until everyone have had their last piece of banana bread. Very disappointing.

The busiest café on this part of the pavement with a lot of regulars and many waiters and waitresses, serving in order to keep up with the demand of people coming in for breakfast. Food came in pretty good time with decent coffees. We ordered an Americano, cappuccino and avocado on toast and also a healthy Greek yoghurt. Everything tasted great, well presented.

Good Service. Very tasty and fresh food. Several vegetarian dishes to choose from. You can sit inside and outside. Better to reserve a table for breakfast. Value for money is good. Very good breakfast spot, recommended.

A lil cosy cafe in Central Area of Copenhagen. The food was much better than my expectations. I ordered frittata and the salad as well as the frittata itself was great. I paired it with americano and the coffee was freshly brewed with balanced bitterness and sour notes.

This is a cute lunch spot, but I felt like the portions were quite small, and the service was slow. I got the chicken salad smorrebrod, and it tasted very fresh, but I thought it wasn't worth 150 dkk for a small toast. Mere

Sweet cafe with a friendly service. The breakfast card is a smaller one. We took the Granola with apples, which was good but it’s rather modest and the price was rather high.

The tomato soup is exceptionally tasty, and the coffee is excellent. I’ve had lunch here twice.
