South Ealing Underground Station: No car parking facilities at this station or nearby - residents only permits. Underground Station Entrance has little coffee takeaway shop on one side. The otherside has taxi booth. Great if you have just come off the train from Heathrow. Various shops around the entrance if you have time to kill. Ticket machines only. Access: NOT wheelchair, pushchair or suitcase FRIENDLY. There are NO lifts, and its stairs and over platform bridge, all the way to the platform. Stairs are in need of repair as treads very worn. Not so clearly signposted. Did not see any electronic notice board as to train arrivals etc. Platform does have seats and is undercover so one good point to remember. No station staff to be seen. Can be busy as travel to and from this station collects passengers from and to Heathrow. Can be crowded at times according to the time of day. 1930s style of platform. Could be a better looking station if there was some signage and care given to it. Spruce it up British Rail we pay enough on the underground. Price: May 2022 from South Ealing to Kings Cross one way £6.30 hmmm Value for money, make up your own mind?

It's nice station with fast connection to Heathrow Airport and central London, it can be better.! South Ealing is a London Underground station in west London. The station is on the Heathrow branch of the Piccadilly line, between Acton Town and Northfieldsstations. It is located on South Ealing Road (B455) and is in Travelcard Zone 3.

A small station with numerous platforms, no open ticket desk, one purchase machine broken, connection on only one line and little protection for those commuting. Overall, the station creates more confusion than ease as trains arrive one either side of the platform without one communal information screen.

Trains packed every morning! (Eastbound) Always have to wait for the next one (which is than in 10min…… Not to mention the time it than spends on a red signal coming up to acton…. And than you sit there watching how trains on the other side of the platform pass every minute….. ‍♂️

A small tube station 20 minutes walk from the bigbhitelsbin the area. It is around 30 minutes to central London from here, it being zone 3 helps the cost a little. It is also usefully on the picadilly line so this give you loads of options to explore London.

Nice station that is served by the Piccadilly line with trains going up to Heathrow Airport from here. There is no disabled access only stairs to the platforms. The ticket hall area is a average size the station was clean and tidy.

  • Daniel Mckenzie

A very basic tube station. No step free access is possible here or at the nearby Northfields which is very annoying. Even though the station is lacking in major facilities, at least the station has seating and shelter.

I feel it’s worth mentioning that people are literally rating the train station in Mosul, Iraq higher than South Ealing. Last I check I wasn’t being shelled when I got on the Piccadilly?

One of the stations in piccadilly line. Westbound to Heathrow terminal 1-4 and eastbound to the central London. It's small and rather old but it's convinient for people live nearby.

Ealing is the best part of London. It's Green. But because of that it is becoming busier and busier. South Ealing is useful link between Heathrow and whole city.

  • Chiro Chilala

Decent groceries. Variety of businesses (watch repair, bike repair, florists, barbers, takeaway). Nice park nearby. Fairly quiet.
