Not only did they replace my buttons on my teeth to ensure my trays fit properly. But they cared enough to make sure I had weekly appointments with them before releasing my next tray. Went in to get a tooth pulled. Was given the option to do bone graft for future implant. Was given “estimate” for total procedure not including the implant. Totaling north of $1100. Was told after insurance I’d need to pay $352 out of pocket. Awesome no problem. With the expectation of the out of pocket to change some. Few weeks later I get a bill for $706! Insurance paid out $165, leaving me with the balance. The bone graft and regenerative tissue, was not covered by insurance as it was a procedure not done on a “natural tooth.” Delta dental explained to me that the dental office “should have” known, and if they didn’t they could have called for verification of benefits. The only reason I opted for the grafting, was because I was under the impression that insurance had it covered. So here I sit with e $706 balance, after paying $352. The Dr at the practice said “ wow that really sucks” and said they’d discount it 10% leaving me still with $616 and some change balance. The staff was friendly, however I feel the insurance and information side of things could of been a lot more thorough. So now I get left with over a vehicle payment for a remaining balance that was a total surprise.

I absolutely love Dr. Jones and her assistants Karen and Carrie! The ladies are Beast! Always on time. Never wait longer than 5 mins if that to get back. From my first initial appointment to my third, these ladies have been very professional, compassionate, and welcoming. I came to them after my last dentist was the worst I’ve ever experienced leaving me in great pain, turmoil, and poor quality work. They listened to all my concerns. They came up with a dental plan completely different from my last one. No unnecessary procedures which would cost me an arm and leg and also saved every tooth of concern.They are clean and have great equipment. They are gentle and caring which relieved all my anxiety and dislike of going to the dentist due to bad experiences. But most all they are critique and perfectionist and they take their time and who will not let you leave until you are no longer in pain and have outstanding results. These ladies are hands down the BEST! Thank you all so much! I would recommend everyone to go to them!

After almost a year at Southeast Family Dental I couldn't be more pleased with the staff and the work they do. It has been a long process because they take the time to do things right. 2/13/23. As someone who has avoided dental care for too many years due to fear and anxiety, I was overwhelmingly pleased with my first visit today. I feel I was treated with the utmost care and concern for my well-being. The above review was for my first visit and did not post on the correct date which was 3/10/22. I have since been to Southeast Family Dental 4 times for extensive treatment. Dr. Laura Miller and Erin are both wonderful. They always make certain that I understand everything that is being done and are always careful thuat I am comfortable. I would recommend them highly to anyone. I moved into the area last fall and needed a dentist that was closer to home. I took a chance on Southeast Family Dental because of their five star rating and that five star rating is well deserved. Everyone I encountered was so friendly and happy to answer my many many questions. They were honest about whether I needed additional services for cosmetic reasons or dental health reasons which was a huge deal for me. I’ve had dentists try to sell me on cosmetic things I didn’t need before so the honesty of the Southeast Dental Family team was very important to me. I saw Dr. Laura to put together a plan for transition in to dentures and implants. A subject I was very afraid of. Knowing at my age she ,her father and grandfather had giving a smile for many years. I have had an awful experience here with getting my teeth made for my dental implants. Aside from terrible communication from the front office about amounts due and appointments, I recently had them mismatch the color of the teeth they sent to the lab. It isn’t off by a little, but a lot. Now the dentist won’t be in the office and I have to wait an additional 2 weeks to go into the actual lab now. If I could do things over, I would have used a different dentist for such an important procedure. This has been such a terrible and time consuming experience for me.

I have been going to this dentist my entire life and there is no way I would go anywhere else. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel welcome. I brought my 3 year old in for her first appointment and they were AMAZING with her. She wasn't intimidated and they made it fun for her. She was excited to sit in the chair and have people look at her teeth. Her pediatrician kept telling me to take her to a pediatric dentist but there is no need. The staff work with kids so well that she was comfortable. I appreciate the service I have received from this group!

My middle son is a patient at Southeast family dental, and I referred him there. He refers to this place as the “dental spa“. That’s actually a good thing. Decorated to the nines, and you actually feel like you are at a spa. Amazing ambience and the highest level of professional service. My dentist retired 5 years ago. I have tried other dentist and have been extremely disappointed. I dreaded looking for another dentist. However, I had crown come off and needed a dentist immediately. This practic came highly recommended. They worked me in within 2 hrs. Everyone I encounter from the moment I called in all the way through to check and payment were professional and friendly. When Dean Oller D.D.S. cancelled on me 48 business hours before my appointment, Southeast Family Dental was able to get me in the same week. I had a crown that had been bothering me and Dr. Geiger was very thorough in her examination. She also took the time to get to know me as a new patient. Jenny, the hygienist, was very welcoming and listened to everything I had to say. She explained everything every step of the way. I had a friend recommend Southeast Family Dental and now I have experienced why. I would highly recommend as well!!

So far so good! This was my first time going to Southeast Family Dental. I had a broken tooth and came across them on here (Google). The previous dentists I went to seemed to leave a bad impression on me so I really wanted a place that was going to truly deliver on what I needed as a patient. I was with Dr. Melissa and she came up with a treatment plan that actually made sense plus she spoke to me as an actual person. They acted like they genuinely cared! Needless to say, I will be going back.

I really love that they are tryly person centered and listen to your concerns. I had been afraid of the dentist because of childhood experiences with cleanings, and avoided going throughout my adult hood. When I would go, my experiences were similar to my childhood, but I took a chance one day as I was driving by Southeast Family to stop in and set an appointment. I have been a patient for a few years now, because they have shown me the dental experience does not have to be so traumatic.

When my husband and I were moving to a new town we asked a dentist friend of ours if she could make a dental recommendation for us, and Southeast Family Dental was where she recommended. We have always been pleased with their talent, knowledge, and kindness. They do a great job. They are genuinely caring people who are very passionate about their craft, so I trust their judgement when it comes to my family's care. My wife and I have been going to SE Family Dental for years with great service, through routine cleanings and emergency root canals. Now that we are bringing our young kids, we see how exceptional the entire staff is. They seamlessly worked with our toddler and got our oldest to sit, get her teeth cleaned, and be so proud at the end of it, she wants school to start again so she can tell her classmates how much fun she had at the dentist. My dental experience was so awesome. Kaylee made me feel so comfortable and relaxed while getting a cleaning. I was so relaxed I kept dozing off to sleep. I cannot say enough about them. Initially, I needed my husband to hold my hand, crying like a baby, refusing to sit in the exam chair, having an anxiety attack. But now, I drive myself, go in without an issue, my blood pressure is at a good rate, no anxiety attack. I’ve even had appointments without nitrous and I can do regular X-rays now. Brittany, Ariel, and Dr G are awesome. The entire staff is super nice though. You will be taken great care of.

Dental care from a private, small business provider is important. SEFD meets all the criteria for personal and patient-centered care. No cookie-cutter practice here! 6 month teeth cleaning today with Jenny and Dr. Miller; both practitioners superb. They discussed my oral care and health as a team with me and allowed for patient input - a real rarity in today’s medical world. Excellence in all, through all, and over all they provide.

Some places just do it right! From scheduling to billing to the dental services, everything is done with quality and care. I came to SFD because of Dr. Bohnert and happily, since he retired, the quality has continued. I recently had some major work done. Dr. Jones and her assistants were kind, caring, and did quality work. You get the sense that they truly care about you as a person because of the time and effort that they give you.

Dr. Miller and Karey absolutely went above and beyond during my appointment today when I was having a particularly challenging time. I cannot thank them enough (and everyone at Southeast!) for always making me feel comfortable... and like part of the dental "family" (which is difficult to do, only being there twice a year!). I've been to many dentists over the years but nothing remotely compares to the service, excellent treatment and fair pricing of Southeast Family Dental. ALL of the dentists there truly love their work and it shows! The hygienists are top notch. And the office staff is always efficient, cheerful and ready to answer any billing or insurance questions. I’ve been going to this practice for over 60 years! Dr Geiger’s grandfather,Dr Tom Bohnert, was the first dentist my parents took me to see. His son Mark then took over and eventually Mark’s daughter, Dr Geiger. I’ve always had great experiences with every person in their office. You know what they say: “if it’s not broke, don’t fix it” so I’ll continue on—no cavities yet!

So far my daughter, son, and myself have went here for the first time under another dentist referral. All of us received excellent care. We felt welcome. It’s hard to find a new dentist when someone has a valid fear of any dentist. They gave us a welcome box. They provided my premeds as needed. We are very pleased. My husband will be going next week for the first time.

The entire staff is incredibly kind. Dr Miller takes the time to clearly explain the plan and the procedure for that day. Going to the dentist is not my favorite thing but this group makes it a much better experience.

Best, friendliest, most effective and efficient dental services provider in town, state, maybe in the world! I never have complaints or surprises. They scheduled me quickly, got me in, served, and out the door timely.

Another good visit at Southeast Family Dental today - Kaylie (sp?) my hygienist is so thorough, good, and pleasant. Dr. Miller and Dr. Geiger are both excellent - if you're needing a family dentist, highly recommend.

I had 4 teeth extracted today and it went well. Eight hrs later and I’m not too swollen, bleeding quit after 4 hours, and pain isn’t too bad. Dr Miller and assistant were very professional and explained everything.

Got prepped for a crown today, so I was there for a while. The whole procedure was practically painless. Dr. Geiger and her staff are great...we always have a few laughs! I've been going there for years.

Southeast Family Dental is the best dental office I've ever gone to. I got my bottom teeth pulled today and new dentures and was treated so wonderful!! Dr. Miller and her assistant Tammy are the best!

Every visit is positive. The hygienists and doctors do a great job of explaining what’s happening and including me in my care plan. They are also great with kiddos which is a huge win for our family!

Any teeth issues get repaired here without issues. They take great care of their patients and don't try to sell you additional unnecessary treatments like the chain dentist offices.
