I don't mind admitting that Southern Painting is one of the finest, people-oriented companies I have done business with. I met and interacted with Jason Ward of Southern Painting. Mr. Ward (and his wife Robin) are the owners of the Fort Worth Southwest and Northwest territory. Mr. Ward (in my humble opinion) is a very amiable , down-to-earth gentleman. talking to him was a pleasant education. Now the guy I dealt with directly a number of times face to face was Jon Zellers, the territory manager. I like Mr. Zellers. He is a diligent and earnest man who treats people the way you and I would like to be treated. I surmise from my observation of him that the daily goal in his mind mind isn't satisfied until he achieved the total satisfaction of the Southern Painting client he is working with. My kudos to Mr. Zellers. He is like the Energizer Bunny, he never stops. He keeps going and going... Now I would be remiss if I didn't also extend an appreciative shout-out to those unsung heroes of Southern Painting. They are the lifeblood of the company. I'm referring of course to the house painters themselves. Now speaking of the painters; a few months back, I had retained the services of Southern Painting to paint my house, both the interior and exterior, etc. One of the company's talented painting crews headed up by team leader Pablo. They did a phenomenal job! But albeit, because of some unforeseen circumstances, Pablo and his crew couldn't fully complete the job they were contracted to do. The unforeseen circumstances was the unexpected discovery of both foundation and underground plumbing problems that my home had. It was clear to continue on with the painting and other repairs would be very counterproductive structurally. Well, to make a long story short; I had both the foundation and plumbing issues corrected by experts in those two fields of endeavor. After an advised two month waiting period, I contacted Jon Zellers at Southern Painting who was also waiting for the two month work interruption period to end. This week (yesterday) Pablo and his crew returned to my residence to finish up their painting and the repairing of several ceiling cracks, etc. It didn't take long. The completion of the unfinished work only took about three hours. The two month plus wait was worth it. Again, Pablo and his men outdid themselves in the display of their skills in the mastery of their craft. I don't mind saying that from this day on at every given opportunity, I will unhesitatingly sing the praises of Southern Painting. Well I guess that's it. Thank you for your time. I'm very disappointed with my experience with this company! I've spent the last year gutting a house and doing a complete remodel. Was so excited to finally get the exterior of the home stained. I spent a great deal of time researching which painting company I wanted to go with. I chose this one, based solely on their great reviews and customer experiences. The communication started out great leaving me to believe I made a solid decision....then it went south after they started the job. Just so you know, the painters are sub contractors! Derek was our "project manager " , territory manager. I feel had he been here when the painters were here it may have been a different outcome? But he just wasn't! The job was an exterior solid stain of a log cabin....of course there is going to be touch ups needed!! I can't count how many times the same crew has had to come out here to finish the job?! The same scenario every time, Derek comes the spots get taped, a day or 2 goes by, the tape falls off, the crew comes out (no Derek) and miss most of the touch ups needed!! Derek actually made my husband spend 2 hours taping....true story, so unreal! They half *** did the job, didn't paint under any window sills, or bottom section of exposed logs, left paint on the windows, gutters and metal roof. They painted over roof tarp, cobwebs, dirt, a pair of scissors (I paid for prep work, but what prep work?) Only cleaned their mess at our request (but we the homeowners are the bad guys for requesting it)! They left open paint lids and cans in my yard for the long rainy weekend, drink cups stashed in my trees, etc! They were out today again for said touch ups and still didn't get it right! I had asked for a different crew, but didn't get it. I recieved a text follow up to rate the service from the office manager, when I selected needs improvement, I was told management would call me. Still haven't heard from them, that was a couple of weeks ago. At this point I'm done and will go buy the stain myself to finish. I would never recommend this company, or at least the NW Tarrant group!!! Here are some pics , you can make your own decision.

I needed some exterior painting and staining that included garage door and trim, front and back door and trim, 2 pergolas, 8 foot picnic table and cedar fence. I had a painter that I used successfully for 11 years. When he failed to show up several times it became apparent I needed to look elsewhere. I contacted Southern Painting for a quote and Dereck DiPento came out for the estimate. Dereck was extremely knowledgeable and didn't try to oversell me on things I didn't really need. However, he did notice things that I needed that I had completely missed. I had several other contractors lined up for estimates as well. Dereck spent about 60 minutes with me and came up with an estimate that was reasonably priced. He went through the estimate in detail and explained the different types of paint, stain, and sealers they would be using and why. After Dereck finished I realized I found the right contractor for me and cancelled my other appointments with the other contractors. Christian and his team came the following week to start and ultimately complete the job in 2 1/2 days. His team was extremely professional and had excellent attention to detail. They also cleaned up at the end of the day, which you don't see very often from other contractors. I'm extremely please with Southern Painting and strongly recommend them for any painting needs.

You know the old adage "You get what you pay for?" Well I learned this the hard way. Having just moved to Fort Worth, Texas. I tried to save some money and hired some so-called "professional painters" from Craigslist. Boy was this mistake. All I got was a further damaged house and took a $700 loss for their prepayment. With my pending move-in date quickly approaching, I contacted Derek at Southern Painting. Right from the start he quickly put me at ease ensuring that I would be completely satisfied with their work. "Completely satisfied" would be an understatement. They showed up on the first day with six guys all dressed in uniforms and went above and beyond protecting and taping off my house. Derek and the guys from Southern painting were absolutely stellar from start to finish. I can't begin to express my thanks and gratitude for completing the job in such a professional manner. I highly recommend anyone looking for a quality paint job to look to Southern Painting first. What I learned is that if you go to Craigslist expect to get a Craigslist quality job. Do yourself a favor and pay a little more (which wasn't that much) for a professional painting team of experts. You will be completely satisfied I promise you!

Wow! Bill, Garrison, and the entire crew are amazing! We recently moved to the area and wanted some fairly extensive interior painting done on our new house. I Googled painters and came across Southern Painting. Bill Dean responded to my email almost immediately. He is such a nice guy and so easy to work with. He came to our house for a complimentary consultation and answered all of our questions. He spend as much time with us as we needed to ensure that we were comfortable with all of our choices. Garrison and his crew arrived to paint our home. It was not an easy job. We have 25' vaulted ceilings with wooden beams. We have stained baseboards and crown moulding. We also asked them to paint the kitchen, which has cabinets and stained crown moulding. They were PERFECT! I couldn't believe my eyes. They didn't miss a thing AND there were zero mistakes. They also painted all of our interior door and the paint is perfectly smooth and even. If you need painting done and done right, you need to call Bill Dean. You will not regret your decision. They are the BEST!

I reached out to Southern Painting on a Saturday on a whim. My husband and I had discussed painting our house and decided to move forward. Robin (owner) had Anthony (territory manager) out to our house with 2 days. Anthony spent 30 minutes here walking around the house, taking notes, and discussing options. He said we would have a quote soon. Sure enough, Anthony emailed our quote within a few hours. Two days later, Jason and Robin came out to discuss color options. They were professional, honest, and told us about the best options for our house. Once we decided on a color, Anthony had his crew out here working. From the time that I reached out to Southern Painting to the time it was complete was less than 14 days not accounting for weekends and many rain delays. I couldn't ask for a better team. Our house looks AMAZING and it's exactly what we hoped for. Highly recommend Southern Painting. We have already scheduled them for another paint job on this inside of our home.

Southern Painting is the best company I have ever experienced as far as customer service is concerned. From the very first contact person all the way through the completed job everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and on time! What impressed us the very most is the level of communication we received. We were kept informed with every step of the entire process. The exterior was painted professionally with precision and great care with regards to the surrounding area (non painted surfaces, landscaping, etc.) The crew was very courteous and asked us about every detail and complied with all of our wishes. This is actually the second time we have used Southern Painting and we were even MORE impressed than the last. Upon meeting our salesman, Bill we knew this was who we were going to use. Bill, Don, Gerson and his crew were fabulous. Even with a lot of chaos we had going on with various contractors and surprises, they were professional and kind. Anything that we pointed out, they smiled and took care of. As a husband and father to an adult daughter, I was especially appreciative of how respectful they were to the ladies, which is rare with contractors these days. What Bill, Don, Gerson and crew didn’t know was how incredibly stressed we have been through this process and other things going on. We truly feel blessed to have met them and had them take care of us…..we later found out that they even handled a few things that we didn’t know about to help out. Their rates were fair and I would highly recommend them. To the owner, please give this group a big high five!

We had them out to give a bid for fence staining and figured since they offer inside work we would have them do caulking around our trim. They came out to give a estimate and they guy said the caulking job is to small for them and he suggested a handyman. I said ya I thought it might be so thats okay but what about the fence??? He said he would suggest the same, a handyman. I thought, okay that's odd because it's a typical residential fence so why did you come out? For some reason he didn't want to do the job. My thoughts were because we didn't like the builders job of caulking our house, so if we are complaining about that imagine what we would say about their work. ** I didn't get any contact information for any other business to help me. If you can't stain a standard residents fence then you should state that. I can understand the caulking in the house but not the fence.

The first try was not to my satisfaction by a long shot. Contacted Mr. Ward, the owner, and the next morning he and a five-man crew were on site at 8 AM. First of all, he suggested some new colors while the crew did prep, got a small sample and put it up for our approval. It was a big improvement so we went with it. He then went and got paint and the crew repainted the whole den, hallway and foyer in one day. The next, the crew cleared the masking, etc. and Mr. Ward did a expert walk through, catching small details even my critical eye would have missed. They went from an "don't use" to a "first class" rating because everyone makes mistakes but few step up to make it right they way they do! I'm calling them back when we are ready for phase 2. Fantastic work. Had 3 rooms done, trim, walls, and ceiling. Mr. Bill Dean came out to give a quote, came out again and went over colors with me, gave me some great feedback based on his extensive experience and made sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. They got all 3 rooms done in a day and I noticed that a couple of windows had been missed. One text to Bill Dean and he had a crew scheduled for the very next day. True to his word, they were out first thing the following day and had everything fixed. These guys are all about customer satisfaction. True, they cost a little more than the cheapest guy you can find, but it was worth every penny. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and will be my first call the next time I need something painted.

Southern Painting painted the exterior of my house. They did a great job!! They replaced the rotten boards, primed and painted my whole exterior in 2 days. There was no mess and now I have a high quality paint job that will last. These guys are true professionals and I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a quality paint job at a reasonable price. We recently had Southern Painting come out and paint nearly the entire interior of our home. Jason was quick to come out and provide an estimate. He was professional, thorough and made the process seamless! We had scheduled a date for everything to be completed, and then we suddenly moved up the date for our home to be listed. Jason worked hard to get our painting date moved up (thanks to some inclement weather lol) and completed the entire job in one day. His crew was PHENOMENAL! I never once worried about leaving them alone in the house, and they were just helpful about answering my questions as Jason was. I had all of my cabinets on a house we just purchased painted by Southern Painting. There was a large kitchen, built in china cabinet, laundry room, and three bathrooms that all had an enormous amount of cabinets. Derek was very professional the entire time and communicated very thoroughly throughout the entire process. Any minor details we saw during our walk through (and we looked at every single door, cabinet, and drawer closely) was corrected by his crew. The team completed the job quickly and the end result was beautiful. I have already showed before and after photos and recommended them to several friends. Their pricing was competitive and the job was done well (and I’m an extremely picky detailed person).

Absolutely excellent! I was amazed how they were able to get the job done so quickly and thoroughly through the recent weather events to help me keep my homeowners policy in place. They treated my place like they knew me. I was major pleased with them. I want them to come back and paint my garage in the fall. They use Sherwin Williams paint! That is quality paint! If you don't mind them putting a Southern Painting sign in your yard while they work, they give you a discount. The detail and patience on my awnings looks so sharp! Before painting, I had a ton of cracks and peeling in my stucco. I thought it would cost a fortune to fix all that. Even with all that they were reasonably priced.

Southern Painting did a huge project for our business which sees thousands of visitors each year. The project included 18' ceilings in a large lobby area along side smaller areas to the side. Multiple types of surfaces were represented. The service was great but the product didn’t last. Walls were fine. But doors and other surfaces fared poorly, chipping and scratching quickly. Looked terrible after just a few months. They came back and fixed a couple areas but it would seem that the proper type of paint wasn’t used to begin with so it was ultimately a fail. Hire for service but be vigilant about what type of paint is being used. Doors and counters need different paint then walls.

Wow! We are thrilled to have worked with Southern Painting! They're professional, courteous, fast, neat, easy to work with and best of all great painters! Derek was super quick to respond to any questions and concerns we had. Price was great too. We bought an older home that had darker colors and Jhony and crew did a meticulous job. It now looks like something out of a magazine, soft and light! Very pleased with the entire crew at Southern Painting. They initially came out to inspect our home and take pictures. Provided a written estimate of the work to be completed, extensive painting, popcorn removal, and wallpaper removal. The owner, Jason, personally came to the house and consulted with us regarding colors. Cisco and his crew were very efficient and professional. What a great experience! Having your house painted is such a huge, daunting task. Brett Clemons (Territory Manager), and his crew led by Noel made the job look so easy. The attention to detail blew us away and nothing we asked of them was met with any hesitation. What we really needed was advice before the job regarding color selection, application and design and they excelled. They are all such professionals and I wouldn’t hesitate to call them or refer them for another paint job.

Southern Painting replaced all of the siding and trim on my extra-tall chimney, and then prepped and painted the chimney. They took before and after pics of the portions of the chimney not visible from the ground. I had my fence painted. The project was completed fast and it was a great job. I loved how I was able to see a sample of the paint on the fence before I gave the okay to order more. Jon and his crew were working a neighbors house, we walked down and he came down immediately, the next day, we had a quote and within the week our job was completed! Don't pay for an extra Primer coat for the exterior of your home! They just mix the primer with the top coat paint and paint your house with 1 coat! I saw them consistently dump the primer paint into the top coat paint bucket and just spray the mixed primer and top coat paint - scam basically... extra cost and reduced durability of the expensive top coat paint...

We are very pleased with every aspect of our experience with Southern Painting! They did an excellent job painting and staining exterior areas of our home this week. Jason and his team could not have been more professional or more helpful, plus they did an excellent job on repainting my dark red walls to a custom taupe color. I had my entire exterior and brick painted by Southern Painting . The quality of work is outstanding. They also replaced some rotted wood and old siding including new Tyvek wrap. Painting brick made me a bit nervous but they have a stepped process for it and it looks great. I would highly recommend them!
