Worst hospital i ever visited in my life. I suggested that this hospital should be closed or terminate the staff specially in ED.. We've waited 24 hours just to be admitted, please note the case was aortic aneurysm and we had refferal from other hospital. Were keep waiting , and the patient was tired already sitting. Only vital signs was taken BP 155/97mmhg , no bed provided even i told the nurse that the patient was tired already for long sitting due to his severe varicose on his thigh , but they just keep us waiting for the doctor. No one intertain us. While waiting , i ask for the people around , and observed, it catch to my attention that the doctor holding the chart / paper one by one and checking in upper portion, sometimes they call tha patient and sometimes they just return back the paper without calling them at all. So i go to , near on the stations and read some of it. The different was the service provided bet. Private service or regular , i go to admission office to clarify. And they said they had a two services provided.. So i changed it to private for faster transactions.. As what expected when they saw the paper they start to intertain us. They admitted our pateint. Weve stayed in the ICU for 3 days.. A old icu which worth of 4k plus per night , facility and equipments are old. Some nurses are approachable some are not.. I start to contact my uncle working inside , he start to visited us in icu, staff start to be polite and approcables.. For 3 days stay nothing happen until we decided to be discharged. Service score : 1 from the highest score 10 Due to service was worst, staff are worst. In this hospital need money , to give tips just to interain you , this is not for public servant hospital as was stated to them vissions and missions. Suggestions : change the management. Bulok na kau. Mga walang hiya.. Ayusin u trabaho nyo kasi pinapasahod kau ng taong bayan! Duterte , give attention to your own public servant hospital. Palayasin yang mga mukhang pera..
I met several doctors along the tedious process of check-ups, laboratories and an outpatient operation and the whole ordeal was tiring yet satisfying since I was cured at the end. Despite the long queue at the triage area, which usually lasts between 2 to 3 hours, and the waiting area at each department which also lasts between 1 to 2 hours, the Doctors are nice, accommodating, understanding, and really cares for their patient. What I really appreciate in SPMC is the existence of a Social Services section that advices patients on where to look for financial assistance for their medical bills, whether for laboratory services or bills from actual operations. There are still areas for improvement but SPMC, the failcity and the doctors are aready way better than others. The private doctor and his hospital that I went to at the beginning estimated my operation to be at around 80K to 90K. At SPMC, my final bill was only 1K.
A hospital that covers most all part of mindanao medical needs . Has full equipment availability for most medical needs such equipments and different specialist. Down side is that you will have to be patient for every process like waiting for a line to get in, they will assess if ur patient can still hold to give way for those who are really in critical condition. You will have to manually go to every dept to make follow up for ur laboratory test. Cannot havr ur own room and hospital bed due to overpopulation. Thanks to MALASAKIT, LINGAP AND OTHER Govt SOCIAL BENEFITS that keeps helping less fortunate people. Have a good day!
Can not say enough positive things about this hospital. Although the methods and conditions seem archaic, they are to be effective. At least in our nephews case, who was diagnosed with an acute form of leukemia a few years ago and has been cancer free for over a year now. Thanks to the treatments, care and concern this hospital provides. Give the doctors, nurses and God the glory! There is a new cancer wing/facility with more parking available. Parking is always an issue here however. Keep up the great work SPMC! God Bless you all.
Very slow processing and very faulty staffing. Supposedly my partner and our baby should be released from hospital after 3 days but thanks to the incompetence of the staff members there, I have wasted a lot of time just waiting for something to happen. I understand that this is a public hospital but they do not really care for their patients and prioritize those who have money apparently. I bet they do not know about the bad effects of staying in the hospital for too long for both the baby and the mother. Shame on these people.
Been here only a couple of times and I have nothing but good things to say the about it. Especially the staff wherein they are catering everyone they could with the best of their abilities. However what I could see was they are understaff with the amount of patients going especially in ER. This is one of the most amazing government run facilities I have ever seen and would to commend the staff with all the service they have provided. What they do here is beyond noble and I for one is grateful to have them on our city.
I've been here for the first time and was not impressed at all. It was very slow and you spent your day here with nothing happening. Of course, we understand that it's public. So after one month of waiting, nothing happened, so I changed to another hospital, and my problem was solved for just a day at the second hospital I went to.
The Heart Center is utilized for Kidney Transplant operations with their modern state of the art facilities. The recovery room and paywards are very nice. Their staff and residents are very attentive to the needs of their patients. SPMC is indeed a blessing to the people of Davao and to all people who wish to be admitted.
Two thumbs up!!! They try to give the best of their service...even to the poorest poor patients. They accommodated very well as they can. The Hospital Staff are good mannered and the Doctors and Nurses very nice. Except there are Few Interns that were "Maarte" but its ok...What can I say? Keep up SPMC.
Okay naman yung stay namin habang ginagamot yung mama ko,at that time we received satisfactory medical attention. Medyo matagal nga lang namin nakuha yung result dahilan kung bakit na delay yung chemo nang mama ko. Pero salamat parin kasi hindi naman namin nakita na pinabayaan yung pasyente namin.
My mom was confined for 3weeks in their surgery section. Thank you Dr. Lee and Dr. Berry for being generous with your time. You serve with a compassionate heart. Nurses are efficient, too and friendly :) Clean hospital with 3 shifts of cleaners. Water though is sometimes a challenge here.
the ER facility struggles as always, no vacant rooms as expected but I am glad to get a room after 2days of suffering with my patient. i hope government will make more more more improvements to cater the public needs. 911 was very active, i like their service. keep it up!
NING LABAY SA ANG 32 HOURS BAG-O GI BORN SCREENING ANG PINALANGGA. LOW BLOOD SUGAR C BABY. KUNG UNTA NADALI OG BORN CREENING LANG SYA DAYONBUHI UNTA SYA..UNTA KAMO NGA DOCTOR OG NURSE NGA NAKA ASSIGN NIYA MAMATAYAN SAD UNTA MO. PABAYA …
The world class government hospital dedicated for the Filipino people particularly in Southern Philippine areas. There specialist physicians assigned ready to care and serve patients. I love the doctors and nurses services, totally committed to serve.
Though my first visit here was not good 'cause of rude resident doctor and some of the guards, that doesn't change the fact that they saved me and my baby's life in my second visit. Where I was about to give birth. Thank you and Im really greatful.
Too slow to release the result...until now the result has not been released and its been 7days..are they toying with us? They said the result is already on the releasing a windows yet its not there yet. …
All in one hospital that caters all ages.May not have all the sophisticated, top notch, advanced equipment but they work at their top performance with the training and skills they have.Very resourceful indeed!
05/13/2016 12:00 pm when i was there .. ive observed the female triage incharge is so annoying and very strictd .. no respect ... naawa ako sa matanda tinarayan nya .. palitan nyo yang bastos nayan..
Poor customer service experience this is the worse hospital in the Philippines ever that i experience. And lastly ang tagal ng bill kahit wala ng problema ang patient.
Hi! May espesyalistang mga doctors ba dito Para Sa pantog??? Wala kasi Sa tagum regional hospital. May bukol s pantog papa ko at Baka operahan. Salamat po!
As what I have experienced, they have a good service actually though not all the employees yet generally. They have a well and fair treatment.
better services now being an ISO accredited compared 15 yrs ago. it already has clean/tidy sorroundings. comparable to private hospitals.
It has complete facilities, can cater different illnesses of patients. You need to fall in line because it follows standard protocols.
the ER facility too difficult, the patients aside from there illness they suffered too much, no vacant rooms, bed. stay in outside
One of top government own Hospital. A bit congested but still employees will make sure you'll be attended. Salute to the Duterte's
Worst hospital, if naay moy kwarta ayaw nalang jud dha dirI.... hulaton pa nila mo critical ang patient bago nila asikasuhon .
Thanks God our bill is zero as we discharged from this Public Hospital..A big thanks to the City Goverment of Davao City.
Top notch Government Hospital. You will really see Davao's incorruptible government service. Kudos to the mayor Duterte.
Not perfect but the staff tries to give the quality of service. Most of the health facilities are only found here.
My brother had a head surgery here, and the doctors and nurses were very approachable. So I'm giving it 5 stars.
Nice facilities and they really care for their patients specially in Children's Cancer and Blood Diseases Unit.
Very slow processing! Maghintay ka pa ng ilang oras at araw para makuha lang ang results sa laboratory.
Goodevening po, anong araw po yung consultation ng neurologist? kung anong araw po siya pwedeng kitain.
My sister works here and she’s a good doctor so I’m giving this Hospital a 5 star. Don’t hate me.
