"The restaurant is very nice with seat & table covers"
"Great food"
"Amazing place for groups that has tasty authentic Chinese food that can be shared between friends and families"
"The dim sum here is at most times better or rivals some of the busiest largest restaurant in Chinatown without the heavy wait times and prestige of a dine out experience serving the masses"
"Regular customer and ordered $130 worth of food for take out"
The restaurant is very nice with seat & table covers. The staff are also very nice, professional & dedicated. Some of the better Chinese food in the city & also their Imperial Chicken with Jellyfish with garlic onion sauce dip on the side is absolutely to die for. Overall a great place & a must visit for some Chinese food.
Great food..! Our order of hot and sour soup, eggplant with something, and sprouts-noodle-beef dish had A LOT of great flavors (my wife does all the ordering). Our soup came quick so we were eating right away. Ambience is so-so. I highly recommend this place!
Amazing place for groups that has tasty authentic Chinese food that can be shared between friends and families. One of the only place where you can get fish fried rice and many other healthy choices. Will come back again for sure if I'm in the area. More
The dim sum here is at most times better or rivals some of the busiest largest restaurant in Chinatown without the heavy wait times and prestige of a dine out experience serving the masses. Fresh rice rolls so far have been the best in the
Regular customer and ordered $130 worth of food for take out. When they packed up my food they put the won tons on the bottom, consomme soup on top and then 2 heavy sweet and sour sauce on top of the soup. Well, the soup was so damn hot it
Although the wait was kinda long, the dim sum was flavourful and relatively good for the price (~cheap)! The lunch buffet wasn't ready and they have a limited selection, but the food was great to me. I only found the sweet and sour pork to
Phone them for a Takeout so they could save commission on SkipTheDishes. The have new increst price on menu in the store, but did not update SkipTheDishes app. I asked to bill me the price on Skip as that's the price I'd get if I make them
Ordered pick up on Monday (they were not busy), was told be ready at 17:30, but wasn't until 17:50. And they missed one dish, but charged me full. They admitted they missed one. I asked them to give me refund for that missed dish via Email
Food was ok, not much flavour. Doesn’t compare to Logan’s Corner. Service was slow, they refilled our water once and never seen them again. Leftover you need to purchase takeout containers, table full of food, rang up my bill not asking if
Ordered take out, not sure if the restaurant has changed owners. The quality of food has gone downhill and the prices have gone up almost doubled. Ginger beef dry and stringy not good colour. The spicy shrimp with sea salt used to be spicy
Had the lunch buffet & although it wasn't terrible 1/2, & that's not an exaggeration, of the items were empty when we went to eat at 12:40pm. There was one scoop of rice in a tray, maybe a scoop of noodles in another, one piece of chicken
After months of absence due to Covid closures we returned to our longtime favourite south Winnipeg Chinese food restaurant and were not disappointed. The food was served hot and fresh and even more tasty than we remembered. Portions were
I had a great experience and dinner at Southland 新旺角酒家!The restaurant is pretty spacious and bright. And it is traditional Chinese restaurant. Look at the picture on the top of the counter shows Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was
Considering the area with a lot of Chinese restaurants around, this restaurant is pretty decent. We enjoyed our meals here, went here 3x however with our last visit, my family ordered a soup and it had a small bug in it - it was dead. We
My favorite Chinese food place to go to. Always great service. The food is delicious and consistently good. They do amazing dimsum and have frozen dim sums for sale too which are great to throw in the freezer and have for a snack. Can’t
Stopped in at 1:00 pm for the lunch buffet that is available from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. Minimal selection remained and the food was a bit soggy. I would not recommend the chop suey or chicken and veggie dish as they had no flavour. I did
Very disappointed. Had the sweet and sour chicken balls for 1 special. Minimal chicken in the chicken balls--it was mostly breading. The sauce was almost non existent. The special rice is anything but. It was dry and not very flavored.
I ordered chicken fried rice and chicken balls. Rice arrived with nothing mixed in it at all, not only was zero vegetables or egg their was hardly any chicken either. The worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant please avoid this
Experienced the catering option for a community event on February 11th. Was thoroughly impressed by the tasty food and generous portions for a reasonable price. Thank you and well done! Much appreciated. Keep up the good food. More
Delicious rich flavor soup with vermicelli and other add on meat a and veggies. Dinsum is also good but not recommended fried shrimp roll for thick wrapper and little stuffed shrimp.
Had combination platters A and B chicken ball and shrimp ball. 23$ Rice is kinda dry and hard. Vegetables not bad. Decent Chicken and Shrimp Balls.
Their dim sum and Chinese dishes are good. However, do not expect to have the same for the service. Also, the quality is not consistent.
Freshly cooked food for a reasonable price and super friendly service! Dimsum, baked Chinese buns are very good too! More
Good price, good taste. Atmosphere can be better but it is OK. Eggplant dish and beef hoy fen are very tasty tasty
Very upsetting experience Went with my family to grab lunch, and found hair in the fish. Immediately lost
The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and welcoming, with tasteful decor and comfortable seating.
Decent place for dimsum. Usually get some of their baked items to go as well.
