I recently had the pleasure of attending a Blink-182 concert at the renowned Spectrum Center, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The Spectrum Center truly exemplifies what a top-notch concert venue should be, combining exceptional facilities, a professional atmosphere, and an overall delightful experience for all attendees. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the venue was truly commendable. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was greeted with immaculate surroundings. The entire facility was spotless, from the well-maintained restrooms to the pristine seating areas. It was evident that the Spectrum Center staff takes great pride in upholding high standards of cleanliness, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable environment for all concertgoers. The professionalism exhibited by the Spectrum Center staff was second to none. From the friendly and helpful ushers to the security personnel, everyone seemed genuinely dedicated to providing a seamless and safe experience for the audience. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer service was evident throughout the event, making me feel both welcome and valued as a concert attendee. One aspect that particularly stood out to me was the efficiency of the venue's operations. Despite hosting a significant number of attendees, the staff ensured that everything ran smoothly, from ticket scanning and entry to concessions and merchandise stands. The organization and coordination were truly commendable, allowing me to focus solely on enjoying the concert without any unnecessary hassle or inconvenience. Moreover, the sound and acoustics within the Spectrum Center were exceptional. The venue's design appeared to be optimized for optimal audio distribution, ensuring that every note and lyric resonated beautifully throughout the space. This attention to detail greatly enhanced the overall concert experience, immersing the audience in a world of music that was both vibrant and captivating. The Spectrum Center's commitment to providing a safe and secure environment was also notable. The venue boasted excellent crowd control measures, ensuring that everyone felt comfortable and protected. From well-trained security personnel to clearly marked emergency exits, I felt confident in the venue's ability to prioritize the safety and well-being of all attendees. In conclusion, my experience at the Spectrum Center for the Blink-182 concert was truly exceptional. The venue's cleanliness, professionalism, well-coordinated operations, remarkable sound quality, and commitment to safety made it an outstanding concert destination. If you're looking for a top-tier venue to experience live music, I wholeheartedly recommend the Spectrum Center. It undoubtedly sets the standard for concert venues, ensuring an unforgettable and delightful experience for music lovers of all genres.

This was my first trip to a Hornets game in a while. I brought two of my sons and we had a great time. There was lots to choose from in concessions and the lines moved quickly because of several self-service tablets to order from at each location. There were several entrances and we got in quickly. They opened the doors an hour and fifteen minutes before tipoff. There was a large Team Store on the bottom floor and several kiosks throughout the arena where you could find souvenirs. We were on the front row of the upper section, above the box/club seating, and I thought our views of the game were great. The tickets were much cheaper than lower level seating but since we were at the bottom of the upper level I enjoyed our spot. It doesn't appear there's a bad seat in the arena, though. We stayed at the Holiday Inn City Center and were only a block away. The hotel had a parking deck as well so we paid once to park while we were there and walked everywhere. Very convenient. We'll be back!

This is my least favorite coliseum of all coliseums! I went to the PINK concert here on Nov. 12, 2023. The seats are smaller and tighter than those on an airplane. The security for this event was so tight as everyone went thru a metal detector with hands raised, all bags and pockets were emptied. All vapes, cigarettes and lighters were confiscated. I’m all about good security, but this caused such a bottle-neck at the entrance it took over and hour to get into the entrance. Frustrations from fans was terrible. The venue was packed out for this concert….so being packed in like sardines didn’t help frustration levels. To top things off, the air conditioner could NOT keep up….so sweating and B.O. was just the icing on the cake. After spending $500 per ticket for nose bleed seats….we stayed for an hour and left. I’m sure Pink put on a great show….but this coliseum is THE WORST!

Got to the door for Travis Scott and was told that my purse was too big. I brought a bigger purse two weeks ago to Drake and had no problem. I even checked the website today and saw the same thing I did two weeks ago. Drake was a way bigger concert. When I went through security today that is when I was informed that the bag that I had cbrought in for many hornets games and Drake literally two weeks prior was two big. Spectrum needs to do a better job about updating their policies and not let it be all on the employees. I wouldn’t be as upset, if I had not checked the policy today. I’ve gone to mutiple events and followed protective and never had issues till today. Spectrum do better because ultimately this requirement only affects women.

The $500+ seats in this venue for the Pink concert The worst venue EVER!! Section 226 should be sold as 326 referencing the hight of the location. The wall behind you and the small overhead roof bounces the sound EVERYWHERE and it is horrible not only could we not see Pink music sounded horrible which if she knew I believe she would not be happy. My husband took me for my 60th birthday, her concert was great but the venue was horrible. If you don't plan on paying thousands for better seats at this place stay home I would rather send her a check for her and her performers than see her at The Spectrum Center in Charlotte NC.

First visit to Spectrum Center was for a contemporary Christian bands concert. Not really a fan of big crowd events, but... What impressed me most was how friendly and helpful the venue staff were. There were staff outside on the sidewalk directing you to the shortest line to enter, directing you through the walk thru metal detectors, pointing you to your section, operating the elevator, directing you to open restroom stalls, and (get this!) thanking you for visiting as we left 4 hours later. Best concert venue experience ever. These folks have customer service down to a T. Great job, and thank you!

I've had one of the best experiences of my life at this place. I went to the Guns and Roses: Not in This Lifetime Tour, and had the time of my life. Literally on the last seat of the Spectrum Center in Charlotte I enjoyed the concert as if I was on the stage. This place has a great acoustic. You could feel every song and every note that the band played. And even though I was like a mile far from the stage (I'm kidding) I could still watch the show very good. They have big screens to help you with that too. Everything was very clean and organized. The staff very nice and friendly too. I recommend this place 100%. And also the GNR concert: Slash is even better now! ❤

Went to see Dave Chapelle here tonight. There were no lines to the doors, just a hot, sweaty, sea of people. We waited over 45 minutes to get inside. 2 different women near me passed out while waiting to get in and medics had to be called to help them. It was the most poorly organized cluster F—k I have ever seen at a major ticketed event. This was not the first time I have been here, but definitely the worst and most disorganized experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been here for basketball games, concerts, etc. and they really dropped the ball tonight.

I went to a Zach Williams, Tobymac and Mercy concert on 11/3/23 and I fear of heights and we couldn’t have got seats no higher to the top when I got there I felt so dizzy and my chest was hurting so I talked to someone she moved me and my girlfriend then I started feeling bad there so I talked to a lady at guest services she moved me and my girlfriend to lower level seats and took really good care of us. This is my first time ever going here and we went on a trip with 45 people from my church and the staff here is just excellent! 5 stars at the least!!

I liked the Guns and Roses recent concert, but this is the first time I have ever had a lower seat ticket without being able to view the drummer on the stage. The sound mixers, I guess, were strategically placed on the stage with a side curtain, but this also removed the stage views from many frontal side concert viewers. Directly besides the stage several rows were blocked off to compensate for this viewing obstacle, but to see the drummer we had to view this on the screen behind the stage.

I was super excited to give spectrum center a 5, the staff all around is awesome the center is clean and inviting. The bathroom had free tampons, which is abo e and beyond. Then I went and ordered a drink a stinger with Titos, I never said the word double and definitely did not receive a double but got charged for one for some reason not sure if I looked like a sucker to the bartender or what but definitely put a damper on things when I realized this

We went to a Hornets game against the Atlanta Hawks. The stadium is a great place to watch a game. I really didn't see any seats that weren't good. Food was diverse and very good for stadium food. The pricing wasn't that bad in comparison to other stadiums that I have been to. The stadium was about 3/4 full for this game but we really didn't have to wait long for food and drinks. I recommend this facility as a great place to watch a basketball game

I went to the Labor Day WWE Monday Night Raw 2023. I suggest you use the entrance by the transportation center, and I had almost no wait in line aside from typical security and ticket scanning. Easy access throughout the venue to food, drinks, merch, and restrooms. Typical high cost on vending machine drinks, $12 for a can of Monster energy. I will continue to see events here, as this was my first event at Spectrum Center in nearly a decade.

I took my daughter and her friend to the TXT concert here. They had a blast. I'm not sure I was completely prepared to hear the whole arena scream for 3 hours though. The staff here were really friendly and knowledgeable and didn't mind answering any questions you had. It was fairly easy finding your way to your own seat. I don't suggest buying a seat on the second level if you afraid of heights. I was almost afraid to move up there. Also if you plan on visiting the Spectrum Center I recommend staying somewhere within walking distance. It cuts the madness in half.

  • Erika

Took my son to his first NBA game against the Timberwolves. We had great seats. We were able to get good videos of Lamelo. It was Black Friday so we scored an awesome deal on the mint city starter jacket. I was expecting to spend money on food. But I really paid almost $60 bucks for 2 cheeseburgers, fries and drinks. Which wasn’t a problem the problem was THE FOOD WAS HORRIBLE! Fries tasted like rubber. Told the lady and she gave us “fresh” fries but they were just as NASTY. Beware DO NOT EAT AT CITY CENTER GRILL ON LOWER LEVEL. It will be a waste of money.

  • Bethany Kendall

This venue did not give the attendees enough knowledge ahead of time about the no vapes, cigarettes, and lighter policy. Some people threw away their items in the trash while others went to their cars and had to go straight back in line. Inconveniences for no reason. Jesus, this is a concert venue for God sakes. As long as people aren't smoking Indoors, then there should be no issue. There are way better, smaller venues with less strict rules. I will not be returning to this venue regardless of what entertainers come through. This place sucks.

  • N Garland

Attended the New Edition Culture Tour concert in April 2022 and it was a great experience. Considering the volume of people, security and box office people did a great job and getting people through the metal detectors and ticket scanner quickly. It helps if you don’t bring a purse or a very small one. A lot of the hold up getting thru security were people with larger purses who were turned around. Didn’t use the restrooms while there but there seemed to be a lot of them. Also had tons of concessions opened for food and beverage purchases.

  • Michael Trivette

A very nice arena and always a fun time watching the Hornets at home. There’s plenty of concessions and bathroom facilities throughout the building. There’s also a team shop inside with plenty of Charlotte Hornets gear. The arena is only a few steps away from the light rail, meaning you don’t need to worry about driving to park for games or concerts. If you don’t live near the light rail, simply drive to the closest light rail station that offers parking (which is free). You can then take the light rail directly to the arena station.

We got to the Spectrum Center at 7:02pm on Thursday to see Dave Chappelle. We stood in a disaster line for over an hour and a half. This was the absolute worst show I've ever been to here. The Spectrum Center should have know to have better organization than this. There was no direction for lines. People was pushing, shoving to get through the lines. Thank goodness no one got hurt. There was every multi nationals standing in line. This was a black show but let it been a white show everything would have been on point with direction.

  • Q.

Every time I attend an event here it is NONSENSE! If you are not equipped to host big celebrities than STOP! Drake show on Friday 9.22 took hours to get in!!!!! No clear direction on where to enter nothing. It was a mess! Then onto Dave Chappelle, more chaos. So much so that a lady fainted waiting in the unorganized extremely long lines!!!! I won’t be attending any other events there.

They really need to figure out a better way to get people in the door. We’ve been to hornets games and Pink concert now. It’s a nice venue but a total cluster to get in. We missed a lot of the last basketball game we went to because we were in enormous lines outside even though we arrived 30 min early as suggested. The Pink concert had no organization whatsoever. It was just big crowds of people inching towards the door in one giant mob. I think it took at least 40 minutes to get inside the doors.

  • Michael H (Hamp)

Was here in March of 2019 for Pink's Beautiful Trauma World Tour. We really enjoyed the show and the venue. It was easy to get to both before and after the show. Entry was not hard and it flowed smoothly. Concessions for food, drinks, and merchandise moved as well as could be expected. The sets were as comfortable as you will find in an arena. They were not great - they did not suck. Unfortunately, our seats were waaaay back but we still enjoyed the show. Even that far away the sound was good.

  • Yefer Corro

Love Spectrum Center. I live very close to this location and I have been attending a lot of events and concerts here; my great memories and moments are in the Spectrum. From the outside you can take the light rail or parking close to it, Uber is another option. Food and drinks are served insight. Use comfortable clothes, don't bring too many things to avoid deep check in the security gate. Lastly, they are not selling tickets in the front anymore, everything is online.

  • Ruth Martinez

This is an amazing place. Well thought out. The lines moved quickly from the entrance, to concessions stands, food and drinks. They have so many places to purchase food and drinks from! Multiple entrances to your seating area and there were multiple employees on sight. I can't wait to go back. I went to another concert. Super organized again, and they had a great flow of the people. Even made one of the men's bathroom into women's for what was needed...

  • Patrick Murphy

Really nice place! Very friendly staff and very helpful. Concessions are expensive but that’s to be expected. Had a great time here. We go for the Hornets games. Parking can be tricky. Preferred Parking is our choice. Worth $15. Right beside the venue. Can’t wait til next game. Edit: We were here Sunday, hornets smashed boston. Good experience. Glad to be back! Edit: Memphis smashed up. Preseason. Edit:Another great game. Pelicans beat us.

Date night with the wifey. Went to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and what a performance it was. This was our first time catching this groups performance and we was not disappointed at all. If you enjoy their music then I highly recommend that you catch one of their live shows when they are in your area. Trust me you will not be disappointed. The music was great but their light show performance is simply an amazing work of art.

  • Melissa Zimmerman Charlotte,NC

I love to be able to have an indoor arena like Spectrum Center. My only complaint is the seats are very steep in the upper levels. Not sure what went on at the Pink concert but they locked everyone out so the lines were wrapped around for blocks. We missed the opening act (as did 90% of other ticket holders).

We love visiting this venue for concerts. Great location, easy in and out, great food options just right outside and a really nice hotel right by the center. I highly recommend you visit this venue for a concert, I believe you get an amazing view from just about any seat. We just saw queen and it was incredible. These pictures do not do justice to how the center feels..... it’s big, but intimate at the same time.

Went to WWE Clash Of CHAMPIONS with my son. I loved the show but beware food prices are a bit high mostly due to the convenience and location so I would probably eat before hand unless you just have money to splurge like that. Also I wish there was more spacing in between the chairs; very crowded if you're around 6'3" like myself. And after about a hour of sitting you'll feel it in your rear end.

  • Monica Jade

We saw a Monster Truck show here. It was a lot of fun. We had great seats. There were lots of employees. There is a good amount of bathrooms for so many people. We didn't have to park very far either. Parking was $10. There were several people trying to sell things as you go in and others selling during the show. If you buy things at the show it's expensive. Overall we had a great time. The show was fun.

  • Tabatha Evans

Great experience for my first time at the Spectrum Center. Advice is to leave your bags in the car to use Express entrance just bring your phone and keys, ID and your credit card. Food purchases are done with a mobile app or by credit card only no cash is used. The game was awesome, very exciting and nonstop action. Michael Jordan was sitting courtside. Mello Ball definitely put on a show. Loved it!

  • Ash Z

Went to a Cleveland Cavs vs. CLT Hornets game. Loved it because my Cavs won twice, of course lol! Can't wait until the next game. Beautiful arena, though. I also been to several concerts here as well. I recently worked a event here with Hennessy, passing out samples of the latest cocktail called the Hennessy Playmaker. Come check me out at the next game! Right outside of section 113.

I visited Charlotte from Atlanta to see the Charlotte Hornets play the Brooklyn Nets. Great game. It is a beautiful arena. A large crowd. It is real accessible to the LYNX light rail. I parked at the I-485 LYNX station. I had nose bleed seats. I was at the very top but still was able to see the game watching the teleprompters. I didn't pay a lot of money for the seats.

Excellent!! First timer at a non-sporting event. Clean, accessible, flow of people moved well. Adequate parking in all directions. The staff is friendly. Signage can be clearer... for ticketholders, needing to purchase, watch. Security was efficient. Hubby had to remove his belt thru metal detector. Look forward to seeing sporting event next. Stay tuned....

I attended New edition Legacy tour. All the acts were phenomenal. However a big issue was that our seats were to the left of stage and our view was blocked the entire concert by two huge speakers plus security guy and videographer for the acts. I missed seeing all the dancwrs and performers and had to rely on video screen mostly.

Tremendous facility for a concert. Saw Genesis there last night and i was impressed with the cleanliness, and layout of the place. The acoustics were great and it was just a top notch experience all the way! I will definitely be back in the future for a concert. The only knock was the small restroom facilities on the 1st level.

Went to the Hornets VS Wizards game and this stadium is beautiful! The gift shop has so many great hornets items to buy including throwback items. Food is very overpriced but that is expected. You're gonna pay approx $13 for a 25oz beer so bring some extra money or drink before you get here!

Nice arena. I went to see the Cavs play the Hornets and then a Jay-Z concert the following night. I really liked how open it felt. I also thought the bar area that was open into the arena area on the second level was cool. I'd go again if I'm in the city and there's a good show or game.

Great place for a concert....crowd flow could be better...we waited almost an hour after the scheduled time the show was slated to start before they opened the doors to let anyone in..which was a bummer...IT WAS COLD!! Facility was clean and easy parking. We paid $15 to park.

While visiting, my group went to a Hornet's game. We booked ahead and were met at the door by staff that lead us to our seats. The staff was amazing, and super friendly! Very clean facilities. Prices for food were way too high, but that was expected! Very entertaining game!

Great venue! We had a great time watching the game and learning from the panel. Definitely a great experience and we'll be back. Side note: They could learn a lesson or two from the Mercedes-Benz stadium bc the concession prices are high. Other than that, great place.

I attended the F.O.R.C.E live concert at this venue entry didn't take long. The staff was nice and helpful. The women restrooms were clean.

The venue was easy to get in and out of, especially if you are staying downtown. Tons of hotels, bars, restaurants nearby. The seating in the 200 level is a little cramped, and man is it steep!

Attended John Mayer Concert last night. Great experience overall. Easy process to get inside because of how well staffed and organized it was. Sound was great too. John Mayer was awesome.

The door staff are unbelievably rude and disrespectful. I always treat people with kindness so the attitude and ugliness was totally unwarranted. I will never attend another event here.

Had loads of fun at my first NBA game, however security was a bit much and did not allow pictures of the opposing team coming in and out. Would not let fans (even kids) on the stairway.

The venue is nice but they are pretty strict. Took my vape from me lol. Staff that we delt with were very friendly. Prices were high like everywhere else. Was easy to find our seats.

Came here for a TSO concert. Good view, even from the nosebleed sections. Area pay-to-park within short walking distance of arena. Also option to come in by bus or light-rail. More

I went to my first ever wrestling event here and had the best time. Don't bring unnecessary stuff with you to avoid tense security checks. Also, bathroom lines can get very long!

This was a great place for the Billie Eilish concert. We had great seats! The stadium was clean and the staff were very helpful! Will definitely be back for more amazing events!

Lovely arena. Had a chance to survey the entire stadium and didn't find a single seat from where the view wasn't nice. Overall great experience at NBA All-Star 2019.

Clean, plenty of close by parking on a week night, wasn’t too crowded. Plenty of food, drinks, and merch for sale. Only missing a winning team …

One day the Hornets will be playing , then a Daddy Yankee concert , then Monster Jam, then freaking Disney on Ice! So much happens and it's amazing.

Seen the Trans-Siberian orchestra there Great place for concerts. Little pricey but you are paying for the experience and ambiance.

It's always a great environment. Our company rented out the court to play a 3-on-3 tournament, which was a blast.
