This neighborhood has changed a lot. Upon returning to visit I'm cheered to see that many are evident as upgrades made by local business owners. One such example is the Spin Zone on Cameron road. The exterior and surrounding shopping center remain somewhat unchanged and the parking lot still sports at least 4 solid taco trucks. However, inside the laundromat there are distinct upgrades. They are the only place in Austin who have invested in these amazing ozone machines that actually produce an ozone cycle which as you may or may not know creates an atmosphere that life cannot sustain itself in. So that means bye bye microorganisms. This was revolutionary to me as a person with an autoimmune disorder. They also have micro menus that customize every aspect of your cycle according to water temperature, vigor, rinse, sanitize, water capacity and spin. We went to wash our down mattress, bedding and towels after exiting our puppy's potty training months and we were very glad for having thought of it. They have gargantuan capacity load capability. I mean I could have climbed in this thing with 3 of my equally sized clones. Although if I had 3 clones I would have sent them to do my laundry and stayed home but that's neither here nor there! One more thing they now have that is an absolute upgrade as well as the reason I know all of this great stuff is Jose! Yes!! Jose works there and is so convivial and knowledgeable as well as being a perfect gentleman host. He welcomed us, gave us a tour and helped us at every turn. It was a great and very surprising experience. Excelsior Jose!!! Thank you for everything!! Your boss should know you will be the reason we come back as well as the reason we spent so much extra money on your new perks! Well worth it!! All of it!! In closing I want to mention again that the upgrades made by the business owners of Spin Zone are really stand up. It's nice to see that they are giving back to the community that has spent their money with them. They didn't have to buy these very expensive machines because people will go there either way. Their business is one of essential purpose, therefore they don't have to do much to get people in the door. Making these types of facility upgrades speaks to the integrity of the owners and of their intention to make a commitment of service to the community they operate within. Thank you to you SpinZone! Its a pretty alright place as far as laundry mats go One drawback you have to have cash to get coins. Desk does not take a debit card for cash back or give you quarters. And there is no ATM here? The one at gas station next door was OOO!(OUT OF ORDER), of course☹ Besides that, completely tolerable if you have to do laundry outside of home. I really like there is an attendant here most of the time. They, so far have only been men, but ever single one I've dealt with behind the counter are extremely polite, watch your things if (u have to run to another gas station to get cash) and have always been very friendly and helpful! Truly always a pleasure and things go well because they are there! The machines normally work properly, and the place is clean,, however the dryer vents are not cleaned all the way to the back so they are very full every time I go to dry & I need to clean a lot out. The only reason did not give 5 stars. I like it here and always feel safe!

I usually only come to the laundromat when I'm just inundated and overwhelmed with dirty laundry. But when I do I always come to this spot. Seems like there's always open machines, kept tidy, and I'm in and out. Mack has def been helpful on more than just one occasion. From deterring unwarranted harassment from random pedestrians outside to helping me wheel my mountain of laundry in.. he's always kept it on point. Much appreciated Mack! Tho it's def a "different" type of neighborhood in the surrounding area, it's worth coming here to get myself somewhat in order. Ps- Mack and others keep a look out for ladies outside in the parking lot who appear a little in distress and come out to escort you inside. Huge plus plus for me in this area! Wanted to add that Don was also very helpful in keeping everything well maintained and an eye on my laundry when traffic held me up getting back ASAP.

*** Update 8/8/22*** They've done a pretty big upgrade on the equipment, so the machines are much better and it looks a lot nicer. All the machines take cards so it's hassle free. If you ain't used to fighting in the TRENCHES, this ain't the place for you. It's ALWAYS packed. 8am? Packed. 4pm? Packed. 2am? Packed lol. Add to that, half the machines are out of order, so you're really gonna have to be assertive in getting in and attentive in getting out. Great staff most days though. And many of the machines accept cards which is HUGE! But yea, it's hella busy. And yes, people will make their own parking spot behind you (see photo) - good luck finding who it is if you don't speak Spanish

Leaving a second review since I seem to have a positive experience almost every time I go in there. Just want to reiterate that. Jose is top notch! Not only does the store stay clean and all the necessities are fully stocked to the fullest of its ability, but he doesn't let any of the extra people hang out that might make customers uncomfortable. If they are getting rowdy or just causing too much of a fuss, he dismisses them. I make a mess dropping liquid or all of my used dryer sheets so before I can even ask, he's already cleaned it up, not to mention his friendly and seems to have regular customers that also enjoy being there on his shift. Thanks Jose. I return for you!

If you gotta do laundry late night this is the place. Super clean, well-kept, attended all night. Super friendly staff. Huge washers. I have a king-size bed so washing blankets is a chore. But they had washers and dryers large enough to accommodate king-size quilts and comforters with no problem. I usually hate doing laundry at night. True enough not real fond of doing it during the day. But is actually a pretty enjoyable event. They've got large TVs and plenty of music. I mean if you could actually say a laundromat had an atmosphere this one was energetic and friendly.

This SpinZone was clean, well organized, had restroom & charging outlets, waiting chairs and more. But what I remember most was the laundry attendant. MACK you are outstanding. From the moment I called and inquired , you were soooo welcoming. You are so kind & genuinely respectful to myself & others there washing. You watch over the mat as if it were your own & you speak so gently to people. You are a stand up human and I am so thankful that you were the one to answer the phone and help me. Thank you SOOO much you are beyond freaking awesomeeee

Don’t do wash and fold service here. They change their prices and minimums without telling you. I paid $7 for literally nothing and the guy knew I was way under the minimum. Didn’t say anything. When I confronted him he told me it was changed on the website. No excuse especially when he was pretending to be so nice and customer service friendly “ahhh you make my day!” Yeah it makes his day to rip people off. Not coming back!! Edit: the owners response is very disappointing, only confirms they have no problem screwing their customers.

This is a great excellent place to wash laundry. I was there on 4/16/20 around 7pm. My laundry machine shut down in middle of cycle & Tony was very helpful & had very good knowledge on why it broke down. He assisted me on getting my clothes moved to another machine. And he helped get the excess soap out of my clothes & the remedy he used instantly worked! They rinsed out very easily. I appreciate friendly staff like him. He took care of me! He's a keeper! Excellent service there!

Mack was super helpful. I will be making this my new laundromat based on his hospitality alone. The facility was spotless, the machines were all new and easy to use, prices were reasonable, you can use quarters, a laundry card, or your credit/debit card, and it is usually open 24 hours (but call ahead late night). The giant dryer was super quick, it took lees than one cycle to dry everything (60lbs of clothes), and didn’t overheat or damage anything!

PRO'S:::: *Convenience is the key... this place is 24hrs... well lit... nice staff... even has free wifi while you wait.... *Games for the kids... *Plenty of space... *Clean and tidy... *Restrooms are clean... *Handicap Parking... CON'S::: *Peak times can be a hassle... There's no parking available during peak times... and sometimes, some people WILL double park in front of you and leave their car unattended....

Jose the tattoo guy was very helpful. I was here for about 3 hours and he was continuously working, interacting with the customers and making sure that the place was as clean as it should be. This is probably the cleanest laundromat that I've been in. Also it smells really good as well. I will continue to come back here. And I would like to say it's because of how well this place is because of Jose.

I really like this Place but they say they're open 24 hours yet when I go up there they're closed so I don't understand how you can be at 24. Hour place and have your doors locked and the lights out. It's very frustrating when you pack up your car with all your laundry to go. Do laundry for them to be Closed wish I knew what nights they were open that's why they get only two stars

The young ladies running this joint are fantastic! Such a nice and pleasant surprise. To wash a rather healthy pile of clothes cost me $3.25. I wasn't sure which size washer was best, but Ms Diana quickly recommended the right one. (She's tha bomb diggity, btw. ) This place is self serve or they wash n fold for you. I will be back to take advantage of the wash n fold.

It is the nicest cleanest and the most modern laundry facility I've been in. High tech new machines the likes of which no one has seen. The machines can be sanitized between washes. Directions in a dozen languages. A multitude of sizes both washers and dryers. A most see dozen large TVs and a supply store run by an attendant that is constantly cleaning every surface.

excellent service, gracefully applied, love that their equipment accepts credit cards but remember to bring 1.25 in case you'd like a couple sheets of fabric softener. I'm here at midnight and see absolutely no reason for complaints.. didn't expect this after looking through reviews on my way here, I believed there would be trouble, serious kudos endorsed.

I have been to just about every spinzone here in atx but this specific location has been my favorite one. It’s always clean every time I come to wash my clothes. Every time I come I am greeted with a smile and helping hand from the over night staff MACK. He goes above and beyond every time I have come to wash my clothes. Amazing customer service!!!!!!!!

Thier employee, Mack, helped with my clothes. Super friendly and professional. The place is usually very clean, especially bathrooms. HOWEVER THEY CANT HELP THAT THE Ghetto from outside spills inside. I prefer to wash my clothes without the possibility of a fight or hearing people talk about crimes they committed, saw, or were planning.

This is absolutely the best place I have ever done laundry at. The washers and dryers are so clean. Mac the man working there… super nice and his customer service is on point. My laundry washed fast and had a gentle dry both times I’ve been here. Confident that my laundry was safe during cleaning, they offer a drop off and pick up option where they clean and fold your clothes cost by weight, too rich for my blood option. I will return bc my hotel doesn’t have a laundry area.

24 hours a day for all of your clothes cleaning needs! I hate that others close before I feel like going. What’s better than laundry at 3am? Ha. Fairly clean as far as this type of business goes. Just wish they had 1 load machines. Try out the taco truck in the parking lot, amazing lil spot.

A lot more expensive than I thought and then other washaterias. $4 for a small - medium load to wash? Crazy. And their card option charges you$15 right of the bat. Now supposedly if you don't use all $15 it'll refund you the rest of it within 24 hours. I'll check in the morning.

Man it's been years since I been there late at night, but the atmosphere has not changed one bit, Jose has been there for years and has not changed still the same funny and very entertaining and comfortable to be around. Awesome place to do your laundry service at night.

I was looking for a laundry place, and found this one! Walking in I was greeted right away by the guy who is running the place (Mack) The washer and dryer worked really good and you can't beat the prices!! I will be returning and will recommend to my friends and family!!

Incredible place, a variety of brand new washers and driers. And I was able to pay by tapping my phone. They have arcade machines so I feel like in an amusement park :) The manager, Mack is a great guy! Gave me free detergent and helped me with any questions I had.

I go here faithfully after work during the early hours. It’s the only place that stay open all night and the washers are cheap and wash hood. Plus the guy who works there is very helpful I think his name is Mack he helps me with my laundry everytime! I love it

I’m a pretty busy person! I had been waiting for a few of the machines that had finished for a while. Mack took it upon himself to get the customers that had not been aware of their clothes being done. He was friendly and really made me want to comeback here!

The place was clean, cool on the inside, I did notice the ceiling had some tiles that was full of water and dripping but the had a bucket catching the water so there was no mess, very organized and several attendants on duty machines were clean and working.

Met an employee named Mac, he saw two older ladies struggling to carry heavy baskets, he held the door and carried our baskets to the dryer. That was very helpful it was hard enough to carry wet clothes across the parking lot. Great customer service.
