Thought I’d try this place out as it has a pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. Also expecting it to not be as busy as my current gym, and it was quiet when we went at 17:30 mid week. Was positively surprised at the equipment, although it only has one weight bench. If they could fit in 2 or 3 that would improve the gym by a lot. Pool is warm, although quite shallow in places, you can still do lengths just about. Hot tub is great, think it might have been recently renewed. Same with sauna and steam room. The whole leisure centre seems to have been updated recently, but still is a bit dated. For the price though, it’s perfectly fine. The monthly membership is £26 and for three months is £60, this represents great value and appropriate for the facilities provided.

Lovely spa day with my mum, very relaxed and chilled, staff very helpful and informative and go that extra mile, nothing too much trouble, I had the most amazing massage/Indian head by Michelle and can’t recommed her enough, she is extremely skilled at what she does, got rid of all my knots and I haven’t felt as relaxed in ages, my mum has a facial by Donna and said it was wonderful and she felt really pampered, to top it off after a swim, jacuzzi and steam room we had a fantastic cream tea which was delicious, will definitely be back again

I bin going there 12 months on and off and I love it the reson why is that I suffer from ptsd and mental health issues and the staff are very friendly and the new young lad Reece is 10 out of 10 well I can say all the staff are 10 out of 10 and the friendly people wot go in there only slight problem is when the kids swimming is on the pool get full because it only a small pool but all kids need to learn how to swim....so if I was reviewing out of 10 it would be a 10 many thanks

Myself and 4 work colleagues have spent a most enjoyable day here at Spindles. We were greeted with tea and coffee by the lovely staff. We then had a treatment each which left us all very relaxed. After the use of the facilities we had afternoon tea with wine which again was very pleasant the staff were very attentive and kept us supplied all day with tea, coffee or water. We would all highly recommend this spa day and will certainly do it again.

Gym equipment is condensed, good free weight area, no room for stretching/floor work leaving only the pool;2 and 2 half length 25m shallow. Pool always occupied no matter what time of day, with no instruction w/regard to lane swimming or cycle swimming; often single swimmer takes both lanes or two swimmers slow paddle both centre lanes and refer to them as lines. A very selfish place. Good for relaxation only.

Absolutely fab place. The first night the jacuzzi wasn't working but the pool was fine and the 2nd day the pool wasn't working but the jacuzzi was. The staff couldn't apologize enough. 0 out of 10 for the maintenance staff but the spindles staff sre very polite and welcoming. Did myself and husband a deal for the last day due to inconvenience

Good gym, small but well equipped. Friendly staff, Marek helps out with anything you need and the employees keep the place clean and tidy all the time. Would recommend.
