This wash is set up like a scam. I used my CC and it counted down from $3:54, it says to add quarters for more time, and but ate them all happily without adding any time. Time and money is wasting away, so I pressed the button on the CC reader, which on every other wash I've used adds 25 cents to the timer. Instead, it ended the wash! $4 eaten within 30 seconds... I swiped my card again, and now it's counting up. I'm really confused because now it's totally backwards. After my wash I used the spot-free rinse, and while rinsing the top it switched to what appeared and smelled to be degreaser soap. Now my just-rinsed car is covered in wax stripper, I lost probably $5 just from that counter-productive "rinse" that took several more minutes to rinse off. The jumbled fine print says it automatically shuts off at $10 which is what I waited for but when I checked the machine it was at 12 minutes! All in all I paid probably $15 for what should have been a $4 wash. This place is set up to scam you, be aware.

Brush was essentially useless. 2 rounds with my CC cost $10 each I found out later. both charges have cleared, did not receive a "refund" or adjustment as indicated by some other comments. I was expecting the advertised cost of $4.75? per cycle. not seeing any signage, I presumed there was probably a convenience fee for using a credit card - maybe a dollar? I didn't expect a $5.25 upcharge. There is no signage regarding a minimum $10 per cycle credit card charge, or really any signage around the machines at all about the credit card usage or terms. nor is there any pricing or information on the web site. I have very good vision but the displays on the machines are so scratched and dirty that you cant tell at all what the display says, and it flashes by quickly too. I'll not ever wash here again unless these issues are addressed, and I'll recommend the same to others.

There generally not too busy here during the week days. It can get very busy on Saturday and Sundays when most people are off from work. The vacuums work great and a lot of power. My complaint about this car wash is that in order for me to pre soak, wash, scrub everything down and then rinse off takes a lot of coins. When its all said and done it has cost me $20 or more to do this. For that kind of money you can take your vehicle to a a place where they hand wash you vehicle and dry it. I have a big truck and its too tall to go into most automatic car washes. This place is just too expensive for the little bit of time they give you. In addition, it takes almost 30 seconds for the tire wash chemical or the soap to completely vacate the line before you can rinse.

I can change this star rating if anything is done. There were a few people hanging around at 9:00ish PM who acted like they worked there (beware of anyone offering to wash your car for you) The guy who did wash our car asked for a tip to which I thought he worked there and I told him I would be back with a tip, to which he responded by GETTING INTO MY VEHICLE. If you come here, just be careful, and pay attention. Note to the owners, maybe think about having a real employee come at night and tell the people hanging around asking for money and trying to scam your true patrons that they should not be there or something similar. I likely won't be back due to this.

Seriously I dont understand how cleaning my car caused me to be covered in grime. I wasnt rubbing up on my dirty car or rolling on the ground?? I only used the equipment provided. This place was more expensive than Kiss Car Wash and I had to do all the work. I mean, thats the point of a self service car wash, but I figured the price would at least be the same as the drive through wash, not more expensive. Honestly I would've given one star, but I figured that A) I don't go to these places that often, maybe theyre all dirty af and B) its not like my car isnt clean. It is. But its level of cleanliness is not worth what I paid.

I was eager to use this self service car wash. The place has a strong vacuum and other amenities to purchase. First, the place is relatively expensive for the amount of time that they allot. $4 for only 3-4 minutes? That’s barely enough time to spray, brush, and rinse everything. I used the far right bay and the foam brush was the worst brush I have ever had come across. I’m not sure how I got more dirt on my car versus when I pulled in, but it happened. The brushes there have to be replaced because of the poor quality and how the bristles get all over your car. I do not recommend this self service car wash.

  • Dale Hutchinson

1st time at this car wash. I appreciated the great water pressure along with the rinse, soap and brush cycles. Vacuum was quite powerful and no issues getting up the dirt. The exterior was VERY dirty and the interior carpet soiled from my 1,000 mile drive from California. After the wash, there is not much room to park to dry the vehicle. Perhaps it's okay to dry in the bay?, but I wanted to be respective of others that may have been in line. This will be my new go-to wash when I want to a do-it-yourself. Doesn't hurt that it's next door to a Popeye's chicken!

  • Steve Herrington

The equipment and facility are first rate, its the people hanging out, asking for money that drag the place down. Its doesn't feel safe washing your car there day or night. Needs an attendant during the day and a security guard at night, people would feel safe washing their car if they kept the loiterers away. I'm a senior and drive a high end European car. 2 or 3 of these guys swarm me when I pull in. Its a car jacking waiting to happen. I have gone there 3 times and its been the same everttime. I would avoid this place if possible.

  • Brandon Vollmer

Kinda meh rating usually when I come through here once a month so I can get in quickly it turns into a twenty minute ordeal and the brushes dont work correctly and I end up having spots that are still dirty, and have to use waterless carwash when i get home. If you have this issue, and need waterless carwash, run to Wallie World and get Rain-X waterless carwash for $7 and a microfiber waterless towel for $3. The vacuums on the other hand are amazing. I usually normally come here to vaccum and go out to Gresham and wash my car.

  • Jonathan G

Owner/managers smoke cigars while maintaining property and all employees were smoki menu cigars last visit. I've been often and this will be my last. The cigar smoke filled the wash bay I was in with no breeze that fay while I was washing car. Then the manager/owner tells me to hurry up and leave if there is someone behind you while I was wiping down car (even before someone was there). Very rude, inconsiderate for people who have smoke allergies and I will never return after this and previous unfriendly experiences.

  • Ed K

This place is dangerous. After dark it essentially becomes an open-air drug market and camp site. Multiple shootings and physical assaults this year. Super loud music all night, often until the sun comes up. Its the only 24-hour business I can think of that has no security and no staff. Owners refuse to make changes and clearly don't care about the safety of their customers or the well-being of the neighborhood. Avoid at any time of day. Wash your car somewhere else.

  • Jerel Richardson

Wow! I can't say enough good things about this car wash. The owner is always there, keeps the place very clean, does not let people just hang out, and keeps everything running smoothly. Today I vacuumed my car then left in a rush. I got a call from the owner; he had found my wallet and wanted to make sure I got it back. We made arrangements to meet at the car wash and he returned it back to me,;no problem. All I have to say is THANK YOU and keep up the good work.

  • Kya Edwards

Well the last time I was here it was a lot of people at night that were doing a lot of suspicious things like drug use and a lot of loud noise talking music arguing fighting and a lot of trash being took out of the garbage and thrown around on the ground so be cautious when at this particular location because it can be a little hectic just a word of advice protect your belongings and please don't feed into the drama that's potentially going on there

  • Bob N

Self service, power wash stalls with a powerful vacuum cleaner before you enter each washing stall. The power wash has about 8 different settings. There's also a separate long handled soft brush, attached to a hose so it foams while you're scrubbing tougher dirt and splattered bugs. Reasonably priced, a small/midsize car can probably be vacuumed and washed for $10.00 or less. As opposed to $20.00+ at other car washes.

  • Ian M

The facilities are good, but we are approached and harassed throughout the experience by a particular man who says he has run out of food stamps and has 2 daughters to feed. He’s told us this on a few occasions. It has progressed into him standing next to me during the wash and approaching my girlfriend from behind. I had to ask him to leave multiple times. We’ll be going somewhere else.

  • Natasha Barnhill

This is my favorite place to wash my car. They have clamps to hold your mats to clean. I’d recommend coming with some microfiber cloths. The vacuums work great but I do wish you could use a card to pay for them like the wash. You need to bring quarters or small bills to make change. Everyone was asking each other if they had quarters because no one uses cash anymore.

  • S K

I thought this was a great place to wash my car. The vaccuum seems effective enough and doesn't feel like the timer is moving too fast. The washer wand operates with a swipe of the credit card, $1/min, and push the little silver button on the card reader to stop. This place seems better and cheaper at washing your can than a fully automatic car wash.

  • D Tang

One of the best wash bays in the pdx area. Never had any issues with weak pressure or diluted/unfilled wash additives. For those with credit card issues. It will authorize a charge of $10 but when the charge posts it will be for the correct amount. Make sure you press the button on the card swiper when your done to stop the timer.

  • Gabriel Esparza

I got mugged here when I moved to Portland. $350 Bluetooth speaker, a smashed windshield and a broken rear passenger window. $550 to repair. Tussled three of em! Then the other 2 pulled out a chain and a knife. Thankfully a biker pulled over and called 911 as I watched them walk off with me things. Not worth getting stabbed over.

  • Tommy Roche

This car wash uses coins or card to pay for the time you wash your car and that's super convenient! The stop button on the card reader was broken so it charged me the maximum amount of time, the owner was there quickly to resolve the problem and refunded me a full car wash. Awesome customer service and a clean car wash!

  • Curtis Walker

Washed for over 10 minutes and charged $6.50, better than back in my home state and no issues with using credit card. Brushes could be a tad better but the water gun takes care of most things. I prefer the do-it-yourself options rather than automatic or someone else - no worries about a mirror getting taken off.

  • Bryan Mooney

Hey Ben, I think you checked your bank account too quickly. The CC system pre-authorizes $10 and then settles for the actual amount within two hours. I don't think anyone is trying to do you in here. If that is truly the case then perhaps you could retract your comment. Take care, B

  • Keenan Browe

Vacuums work well but can only reach into so many spaces with their one, broad suction heads. As for the actual wash, the water pressure has been pretty inconsistent between bays and even in the same bay across multiple visits. Overall it's worth it but still frustrating.

  • Birdy Bird

Definitely located in a shifty location where I got to see a nice gentleman hitting his crack pipe! He did his crack and I cleaned the dirty cracks of my cracked window and the exterior of my van. It was a win / win for everyone. Very chill location indeed.

  • Vin Vega

This unassuming self serve car wash is all business: get in, wash the bird poop off, get out! Vacuums, multi setting sprayers and foam brushes in each of the bays, why go to those scary gas station hell ride car washes ever again? Accepts credit cards.

  • David Conklin

Usually really clean, machines take credit cards and are rarely broken. Equipment is well maintained... If you desire an actually clean car that automatics won't achieve, come here and foam brush your ride and top it off with some wax & spotless rinse!

  • Mark Patterson

I like the facility just at times feel it is a little... Strange. A lot of times cars are ported as if to be washed but as aren't and there's a lot of homeless digging through the garbage which is wierd when it is your garbage they are going through.

  • Dusty Rowe

Best DIY car wash close to my place tall enough for my 10.5’ tall van and has card payment options Kind of a pain that the tokens are in 25 cent increments, but maybe just because my beast is huge and takes $20+ to git er did …

  • Becky Fuys

We only used the machine for 4 minutes, pressed “stop” like the instructions told us to, and then it charged our card $10. Don’t use this place unless you plan on spending the full $10. The water pressure worked well, but overall it’s a rip off.

  • rrrrrrromero

Ghetto place that uses tape to "fix" holes in hose. More soap came out of the hose than out of the brush. The $4 i put in were wasted as all The soap leaked out. I couldn't find any signs with a number or way to get a refund. Avoid this place.

  • Sascha IsKing

Generally empty during the week. Reasonable vacuum rates and standard wash bay rates. Change machine on site but bring your own quarters to avoid hassle. Not a lot of room so large extended cab trucks should try elsewhere on busy weekends.

  • Sun Flower

If I could give more stars I would. The owner of this car wash is a 100% gentleman. We accidentally lost something of tremendous value to us on premise and he worked persistently to find us and return our property. What a winner he is!!

  • Matthew Moore

I didn't realize, but the way this place works for cards is that there a $10 charge and then money is refunded back. Still, the scrubbers aren't preferable, but seems to work for most people. Phone guy was nice and clear, so that's cool.

  • Joules Learns

Ask yourself what you want from a carwash. What hours they should be open. What music you want to hear playing. The people you'd like to run into. You'll get all that and more, every time, always. Zero complaints, 100% satisfied. …

  • Mira Jean Wever

I will never come here again. I washed my car for the allotted 4 minutes for $3, and after I was done it said $3 charged on your card. When I got home, they had charged NOT $3 BUT $10 TO MY CARD. I am extremely disappointed!!!!

  • Dorothy Lewis

They FINALLY TURN THE LIGHTS OFF AT THIS PLACE AT NIGHT. TO MUCH TRAFFIC JUST ON THE VERGE OF BEING RUN DOWN. I RIDE THE CITY BUS AND EACH NIGHT U COULD SEE THE TRAFFIC AT THIS PLACE SOMEONE GOT SMART AND TURN THE LIGHTS OFF.

  • Brandon

High soak SOAP had no soap coming out. So after messing around for 2 minutes trying to get soap to come out, now I'm paying for another 4 minutes to simply spray my car with water. So $6 for a water wash. Thanks.

  • Anastacia Doan

Usually costs me $10-15 to wash my truck here if I use all the steps (waxing+no spot rinse). Can change cash for tokens or use a card. I go around lunch time on weekdays and have never had to wait for a stall.

  • Danielle Forbes

the best working and strongest vacuums i’ve found in portland so far! i drive across town to go here. always reliable and never too busy. haven’t tried the car washing stations yet so can’t speak on those tho!

  • John Bowlsby

Absolute worst car was I've ever seen... $5 in tokens were completely useless, soap was out in the bay and the foam brush was covered in grease... $8.25 to hose my car off... thanks for nothing!

  • Mike O'Mahoney

Great car wash! Management and staff keep it clean and all equipment works perfectly. You'll get a great wash with a little of your own muscle at about 1/2 the cost of the drive through washes.

  • TS

The most ghetto car wash I’ve ever been to. Almost got beat up, just trying to use the coin machine. They should consider closing this location as it’s not safe for any potential customers.

  • Nick Dennis

Expensive to start $3.00... But has the HIGHEST water pressure of all the car washes in Portland. No question. Just remember to bring six shooter, pilgrim... Gets wild after dark!

  • Martin Stoyanov

Good wash, prices are decent but can get sketchy at night. Don't use the brushes but that applies to all coin op car washes. Can use two buckets if people aren't waiting.

  • Andrew Dillon

I like that you can pay with credit card here, but they don't have staff on duty at most times (just a number to call) and trash always stinks enough to make you sick.

  • runite694

Just moved to Portland and I love taking hand care of my Frs. This station is full of trash and loitering. I'm always swarmed and asked for change. Feels very unsafe

  • Ben

Do not use your credit card here. You'll get charged WAY more than just going down to get it all done automatically. I was charged $10 for 5 minutes of use. Absurd.

  • Kyaaptyn

First time washing my car myself. Loved the easy step by step guides on the wall, and I enjoyed the high pressure options which made the clean seem super... clean.

  • Joshua Lloyd

I really like this wash, as the self-service types can be hard to find in Portland. However, there is a 3$ minimum to start the wands. Really? Should be a dollar.

  • Pierre Osborne

Easy to use for self cleaning of automobiles, excellent staff and very reasonable prices. Thanks going out to the staff for all that they do for thier customers.

  • Lucky Punk Production

If you need to shampoo your car DONT TRY HERE. The shampooer barely works and the vacuum attached to the same machine doesn't work. So your S.O.L. and put $3

  • John Hood

A great local car wash it's been around forever a little on the pricey side but they do excellent work it's a great place to go to have your car washed

  • James Rose

Lots of broken stuff, no brush to wash car, vacuum was super loud and didn't work so well, dried car off still dirty. Waste of money go somewhere else.

  • Louis L

Swirls marks all over my car. Do not use their brushes. I should have known better than to use their foam brush. Do not make the same mistake I did.

  • Karen McAvoy

Did what I needed it to do. It was in need of a garbage pick up. Other than that, safe, new card reader and fun soap smell and color. Bubblegum?

  • DowntowncoffeeshoptaxiLLC DowntowncoffeeshoptaxiLLC

Paid to wash my car very expensive 20 $ regret how the wash came out , saw mold on some the machine and grease all over the car .not a big fun

  • Darren Melnayk

By far the best car wash in Portland in my opinion. I've been to a few others and non compare to this. It's pricey but worth it in my opinion.

  • D. J. S.

Terrible location. Far too expensive to wash one's vehicle. Broken debit card reader. All around shifty location. Trash everywhere. No Bueno.

  • Parker Emerson

Vacuum is kinda weake in my opinion, but it get the job done. Fair for the price of self service. Would consider going back if I were close.

  • Tammy Mulchay (Happy Face)

Went here in a rush after realizing there was something spilt on my car.....wasn't too busy and was able to get right in and out in minutes.

  • T Neighbors

It's fine, but as is common at these kind of car washes, the time allotted to wash is nowhere near long enough for a human to wash a car.

  • amanda dudley

We tried to wash the car but the machine took $3 of our money and so it didn't get it rinsed all the way don't like this car wash at all

  • JC Pomerleau

Very clean and well maintained . The equipment all works. The owner is often onsite doing the maintenance. Prices are also reasonable .

  • michelle Castaneda

Was trash everywhere but that was because of homeless. The ownerswere there cleaning it all first thing, but still was kind of gross.

  • Logan Voller

The entire area was trashed to the point I wasn't even sure if the site was functional, but at least the plain vaccumes were working.

  • Lyrica Lewis

A Great self service car wash that almost always has one staff member present to answer any questions or issues you mite run into.

  • Melesha Sonley

The dude that was there running the place was unthawing the hoses and opened up a space for us when all the other ones were full.

  • Corey Anson

Not a big flashy car wash, just the basics for knocking dirt off your car. You can use a credit card to pay for your time.

  • A.P. (Aaron Ben Solomon)

I like this place. Would be cool if I could sell back tokens since I washed a borrowed car and bought more than I needed.

  • Desiree Marie

I use this all the time & it's always stocked with their items they sell in the vending machines. Decent prices too.

  • Michael Gearheart

I'd leave a half star if it was possible! This place is absolutely a garbage, overpriced, trash heap of a car wash!

  • Clifford Thornton

The vacuum machine should take cards too. Just being a brat because I didn't have any change/cash …

  • Jenna R.

The Vacuum and Shampooer are great, but time is pretty limited. Got my compact sedan done in 2 rounds of each.

  • Benjamin Curtis

A little pricey considering that it doesn't do a very good job. The foam brushes are old and scratch the car!

  • Jeremy Fezz check out my IG: kaptain_kropdust

Not a lot to say it's a self serve car wash. You'll probably encounter interesting people asking for help.

  • Oliver Smith

A good car wash with convenient credit card readers if you don't have cash. Seems to be well maintained.

  • Felicia Sportiello

The trashcans were overflowing and there was garbage everywhere, but all of the equipment worked fine.

  • John Forbes

Life at the carwash. It's a good example of a do it yourself wash facility. Reasonably well maintained

  • Yvonne Annette Suyat

Decent place. The homeless next to the car wash was intrusive. It’s far as the car wash. It was good.

  • will mick

Good god. I love pull up car wash places. Beat it if you can't wash your own car. Also, bring cash.

  • Jacob Coleman

I don't like using tokens. Other than that decent car wash. Vacuums seem to have some suction

  • Jenni Ludtke

Has a credit reader for the car wash, but not the vacuums so you still need quarters/cash.

  • Kerry Davies

Easy to get to and it's well kept. The staff is helpful and 10min only cost you about 6$

  • Jay Gee

It's a great place to wash your car. Mine always comes out spotless without any issues.

  • Tinky Winky

If you use your card they charge $15 automatically. Never agin!

  • chris nath

Name says it all! Convenient, has vacuums and plenty of room.

  • Dave Rutabah

It's a self serve car wash but everything we used worked

  • Shirley Fisher Briggs (Ladysnaps)

There is always so.ething bad happening at this carwash

  • Paulette Simkins

I like getting free vacuum after wash

  • George Skinner
