"Lovely cafe with wholesome food"

"Purchase a Thai chicken curry pie today,19 March 2022 for R45"
"Gosh but their vegan scrambled eggs equivalent is amazing!! Super food"
A lovely little place with wonderful food. We loved the pies (how do they make that incredible pastry??) The cheesecake was better than any we have ever tasted: creamy and absolutely yummy. The service however was not so good and we had quite a job attracting the attention of the waitress. Pity, because otherwise so special.
Lovely cafe with wholesome food. Every year I land up getting a slice of cheese cake at sprigs for my birthday and they never disappoint. This last visit we decided to have a sit down lunch and no one was disappointed with all meals well prepared and a lovely menu that fit the diverse needs and wants of our table. More
This is a place that has become uninviting and laxydasical. I thought one more chance, but, nearly left midway through. Loud, service got the order wrong, had to ask for utensils and condiments etc etc The gifting section have some beautiful products, but the pricing is not on point ... very disappointing More
Purchase a Thai chicken curry pie today,19 March 2022 for R45. The pie had no salt. Max number of small pieces of chicken was 4. Pie fulled with large chunks of eggplant and onions. No sauce. Very disappointing when an establishment tries to cut cut at the expense of quality.
Gosh but their vegan scrambled eggs equivalent is amazing!! Super food. Bummer about looking out over a parking lot but it's a quaint place despite that. Chocolate brownies to die for... and all sorts of home made and healthy goodies like rusks and jams and things …
Fab coffee shop for quick bite with fab polite well spoken waitresses. And the side goodies one can buy not available anywhere else like jeans pickles sweets breads. And top of all free fast WiFi oxtail pie out of this world. Try it. All you need is a cuddle. David.
Best thing to come out of lockdown - excellent ready made meals - great not to have to cook every night - loving the oxtail pasta; beef short rib in phyllo and lamb curry just to name a few! They have also added quality gifts and homeware to their cafe! …
The baked cheesecake is delicious especially the one with caramel and nut praline. The base is crispy crumbly, the toasted linseed added a nice flavour. Also enjoyed the homemade pies and sausage roll, lovely flaky buttery pastry and quality filling . More
If you need a good(let’s say FANTASTIC) cheesecake to take home, my family like them as birthday cakes YOU ARE GUARANTEED by far the BEST I have found. And I loveeeee Cheesecake! They have the menu’s online, so HELPFUL. Make sure to order
I have always viewed Sprigs as a great spot for delicious, different food. My husband went recently and was disappointed at the quality of the breakfast. Nothing wrong per se, just nothing special & overpriced. I went with a friend recently
I usually love coming here but yesterday afternoon the service was poor. Yes, my friend and I arrived 20 mins before closing time, but we only wanted two coffees and a place to have a quick chat. We were given sour looks by the waitresses,
Stopped for a quick biscuit shop, looking for vegan treats. Found yummy rusks, the most delicious and more-ish crunchy oat and fruit cookies, biscotti and snickerdoodles, all free of animal products but full of flavour and so tasty. On the
My husband and I had the chicken pie, curry gravy and wedges. I have to say unfortunately it was the worse meal I have every experienced. The curry gravy made from 7 veg was actually a mushed up baby food experience with no curry flavour.
Both meals were full of flavour , succulent and appetizing, the restaurant was very unique, homely and exquisite. The staff made our experience a pleasant and delightful one, they were extremely warm and inviting. Sprigs is one restaurant
Nice food at the 'harvest table', although I think the chefs may have gone slightly overboard with the coriander on some of the salads. The staff are very obliging and overall Sprigs is a pleasant place to be and eat. The highlight of my
The staff were cold, unhelpful with the menu and unfriendly. No one enquired if our meal was any good and we were not asked if we wanted anything else. We had to call someone to ask for the bill even though it wasn't very busy.
Unbelievably delicious food. Great service as well. There are gluten free and dairy alternative options for almost everything. Their desserts are mouth watering and they have a fantastic gluten and diary free cake as well.
Fantastic food & devine coffee (try their dirty chai). Good for breakfast, coffee & lunch. Excellent service & happy staff. Also dog friendly (our 2 Daschunds happily lay under the table & snooze the morning away).
The food is good and healthy. The coffee is good. The service is friendly and the restaurant includes a deli where you can pick up delicious stuff and quality kitchenware. I'd go often if I lived closer. More
Wholesome tasty food and good coffee. The staff are always super friendly genuinely seem happy to be there. 4 stars as the cookies look amazing but are have been drier than expected on 3 different visits.
First time to Sprigs in years, food was excellent but waitress was not as good. Asked for and waited a very long time for the bill, only to find out that one pays inside at the till. A little Frustrating.
We joined the pop-up dinner evening tonight and it was amazing, not that we expected anything less. We love this place and often stop for biscuits, cappuccino's and gingerbread men for our daughters.
Service exceptional. Pricing good. Great atmosphere. A fantastic array of very healthy food. A real institution in the area. Definitely a must if you passing by for breakfast or lunch
My daughters favourite food shop. Excellent coffee with a great menu/food to complement it. Freshly baked pastries and cakes. Well managed and well trained friendly staff.
Found vegan gluten free biscotie for a friend. Ordered a delayed secretaries meal for staff food is amazing. Stunning spinach and chicken lasagne with savory tart More
What used to be a fabulous restaurant some 20 years ago has definitely tired drastically. I always remember Sprigs as the go-to restaurant for a great cappuccino and
So I tend to visit sprigs a lot. In my opinion they have the best French toast. It comes with bacon and syrup but it's done on a French loaf it's fantastic try it.
Just had a coffee - which was good. Quite noisy in the restaurant - the acoustics make it worse. But they have outdoor seating, which had a drop-down blind. More
The lunch buffet is my favorite. My vegan daughter nags me to eat there every day of the week. Has a lovely deli and bakery too. Hmmm, Swedish crackers...
I love the lunch table - freshly made salads & veggie dishes plus one meat dish... charged by weight. Brownies are arguably the best in Durban!!
Consistently good at all levels. Just not impressed with the rusty table top. The table at which I sat needed a rub down and re-paint. More
Great service, good vegan and vegetarian options. Friendly staff and awesome selection of artisanal and craft food goodies at the shop.
We enjoyed a really lovely lunch. Good food, pleasant surroundings and pleasant service. Sprigs remains a favorite food spot. More

Delicious food, go to the deli and make your own sandwich - it's great. Also carb free bread and dairy free options.
Great delicatessen, great for foodies, breakfast was a little bland, otherwise a popular eating spot in kloof More
Lacklustre service. Warm coffee. Heard a lot about this place, but failed to see the attraction.
