"Great spot in an old-Austin neighborhood"
"The front side of the park seems reasonably well-kept and at least the right side of perfunctory"
"It was such a nice place"
"Not a very welcoming park"
"Nice playing facilities, the area was a little sketchy and there were signs of transient people having been there recently (blankets and boxes)"
Great spot in an old-Austin neighborhood. There is some trash around (to include human feces) but the way the poor are criminalized, instead of helped, that's to be expected. Huge playscape, a covered pavilion and plenty of benches and picnic tables. Please put your trash in one of the dozen trash cans nearby.
The front side of the park seems reasonably well-kept and at least the right side of perfunctory. The back side of the park is another matter: I'm not entirely sure these trails into the woods are even supposed to be here, as they have not
It was such a nice place. The play structures were age appropriate and had a place for grownups to work out.. But!! With all the homeless camps around there and the litter about five feet away from the trash cans, I doubt I will be back.
Not a very welcoming park. There are three large homeless camps here. My kids couldn't play on toys due to several people still asleep at 11 am. Also several people walking dogs without leashes. Too bad too, the toys look nice.
Nice playing facilities, the area was a little sketchy and there were signs of transient people having been there recently (blankets and boxes).
Playground is a nice place to hang with the family and kids. Usually fairly quiet, so not a lot of noise or business to worry about.
Used to be a nice park but currently overrun by the homeless. Can’t really go into the trails anymore, all blocked by tents.
DONT EVER COME TO THIS PARK !! A LOt OF HOMELESS PEOPLE SLEEPING BY THE TREES AND ON PLAYGROUND AND THE PAVILION AREA
I love parks and this one has a lot of space to sit, they are beautiful encounters with nature …
There are some awesome trees in this park. Also seems like it gets some good use by locals.
