Most of these reviews aren't very useful, so I feel like I should put effort in this one. I attended this school a couple of years ago and.. it was pretty good. I am aware that there is a new principal now, but other than that, the school spirit was pretty good. They brought a good sense of community into everything, by grade 5 I knew most of the children in the school, or at least recognized them. Their sport program is on literal life support though. All I can say is that we never did anything special for HPE, there were very limited outside school sport activities and the general situation was quite disclusive for anybody who wasn't the best at sports. Their music program was decent, I did a lot of that. Nothing super amazing came out of that, but it's understandable for the price payed. With teachers and academics, it was pretty good. I was a fairly bright student, so most of the stuff we did was a little too easy and there were not many programs for me to move up to, but it was fine. The teachers can sometimes make silly rules, for example, I remember my sister being seriously ill in hospital and I got into a lot of trouble when my teacher found out that my parents were texting me updates about her condition during classtime. That was a low point, as at the time I was going through a lot and I was almost in tears. For the most of it though, if you were a decently behaved student, the teachers would respect you. There were very few cases of bullying that I ever knew about, which was good. The school had a good amount of control on that. The final thing I will address is the Senior School. I'd say that was by far the worst part of the entire schooling experience, prep to grade 6. The levels of leadership that the teachers and staff expected from a bunch of 10 and 11 year olds was mental. The second a younger child would cry within a 100 meter radius of a year 6 student, it would become their responsibility. By then, teachers had decided that these students would give them their break. The only real leadership opportunities were leading assemblies once a week, emptying a bunch of bins and looking after the 4 to 7 year olds at lunchtime. Fun, right? I'd say if there were one year I would have skipped, it would have been grade 6. Overall, I'd recommend this school to most people. I think that it's worth it, even with the low points. The sense of community definitely made the school 10x better and I quite enjoyed my time there. :)

⬇️⬇️ IMPORTANT READ⬇️⬇️ I went there from prep to grade 6 and enjoyed every second of it. My teachers were great, the community was supportive and the environment was always a pleasure to be in. It was an unforgettable experience with my mates and it sourced memories that will stay with me forever. I went on to win the Nano Nagle Award at the end of grade 6 which was a wonderful accomplishment that I had worked hard towards across my seven years of application. The lessons I learnt and information I gained has helped me a lot in my high school years. From friends siblings that still attend the school it is even better than is was since my last visit. Thanks for taking the time to read this review, St Catherine's will not disappoint. 5Stars.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

As an external teacher, this has been a lovely school to work at! The children are extremely well behaved, respectful, and catch on to everything we teach really quickly. The principal and fellow staff are clearly doing a great job

A good community hall for hire. We use the community hall for our community functions. The hall is specious to cater a group of people more than 100 with kitchen amenities.

Great school and very family oriented. My son loved st Catherine from prep till he leaves next year. Teachers and all staff are fantastic.

We had to borrow an oval, pools, sports equipment, books, pencils, teachers, desks and food from Wishart. Disappointing school.
