Beautiful Church and Village area! I've grown up in the area and have visited the Church when open and closed many times, and attended many church services and meetings there, most poignantly for me, the memorial service held there 18 years ago, that October for the parents and family members, whose children had been stillborn earlier that year at the local hospital, just as my own Daughter had been. I was incredibly grateful to the hospital and the church for organising this service, it was very moving and beneficial in the grieving process. The adjacent church hall and schoolhouse is amazing too, and is used for many purposes. It's a church steeped in history, even the brickwork bears the scars of history, where you can see knights of old, have ridden by and sharpened their lances, swords/rapiers along the walls. The church is beautiful inside and out, wonderfully maintained, as is the churchyard, the grounds and the playing fields it's situated on. It's a wonderful place to visit, alone for the solitude and peace, to take the family for a picnic, and learn more about the history of the church and the area, to enjoy walking around in the spring, summer autumn, to photograph the church and area, draw, or paint it, enjoy the history and majesty of the church, the village it lies within, the playing fields with all the space to play and enjoy the grounds that surround it. Or simply take a stroll and walk the dog, It's one of my personal favourite local places and the nearby Blakesley Hall. I often walk from one to the other and cherish the beauty, historical importance and serenity of the area, so beautiful and quiet.

This is a beautiful old church in Old Yardley village. It is currently being restored but is well worth a visit. It has the most beautiful stained glass windows, and on the day we visited, there were 2 lovely ladies serving hot drinks and homemade cakes, which were delicious. The church was extremely welcoming and is obviously well used by the congregants who worship there.

I adore this church. But I'm biased as my parents were married there 50 years ago (they divorced some time ago). I didn't know that until last year. I was talking to my mom and she mentioned it. I'd been driving past for years and never knew. Anyway I took my mom for a return visit. She said that it didn't look as though it had changed in all that time. The staff there were very friendly and it made the visit even better. A positive look back in time.

Very nice church. It is located on a nice quiet Cul De Sac road. It's a 13 century Grade 1 listed church. It's very peaceful here as it is at the end of the road. There are plenty of parking spaces. They do have a small stall where they sell honey and glasses items to raise money for the church.

This is a very beautiful, historic spot. There are many very old, beautiful buildings and the green feels like stepping onto a movie set. They also hold a beer festival here every year, which was what gave me the reason to visit. I photographed a friend of mine, Les Hemming, performing in a rather excellent jazz band, right in the hub of St Eburgha's community hall.

Great old area worth a visit, Park is good, just a shame they took the old iron fencing down, we used to take younger family members to park, and have a picnic, and knew they were safe, and couldn't run straight into the road, lots of children used to play, there, then we wood walk round to Blakesley Hall for a tour of the old house, which was free.
