St John Bosco Church is a vibrant parish. I have attended mass a few times, and I have been delighted to see so many families actively participating each time. The music is lovely as well. However, my experiences were tarnished last night by the way Fr. Gregory Fishel conducted the 7pm Saturday mass. His approach gave the impression that he thinks mass is about himself. He gave a 40 minute incoherent homily in which he ranted about a point that could be said in three sentences. I found it abusive, abusive of our time, and abusive of the sacrament of the eucharist. Ultimately the mass became 80% Fr. Gregory Fishel's show and 20% sacrament. I was disappointed.
The church patrons boxed in my vehicle. I politely asked them to announce if they could move said vehicle. I was told it might take a while I was told 9pm. I got back at 9pm and ask again I was told church wouldn't end until 12 am. My toddler was already getting impatient. It's such a shame that we had to wait TWO HOURS AND THREATEN TO HAVE THE VEHICLES TOWED FOR YALL TO DO ANYTHING. You all really need to explain to your patrons that boxing people's vehicles in is not okay. Not only did they box in my vehicle but several others. We cannot have our children out at all hours of the night waiting because you can not make a simple 3sec announcement .
We've been attending to this church a little more the a yr now and we love going to the Sunday evenings mass (the 7pm). It has less people and we are able to hear everything well. In the other times they have, people been talking or the kids are crying which make us in able to hear the lectures. Other than that, the church is small compared to the others I've been but I love the feeling of being welcome when we are there.
I love this church. Love the community and the leaders. About the parking situation...um isnt the parking lot for people attending mass? And even though i totally get the that its a traffic jam at the end of mass. it makes me so happy to see that parking lot packed becuase it means a lot of people came to see the lord.Unless of course there are people that are parked there that arent suppose to.
Beautiful mass by Father Andrés. I love the environment inside; you can hear a soft cascade. Once you exit, there is a hallway, and you can see on one side the image of The Virgen of Guadalupe surrendered by dozens of roses, and you smell their fragrance and can pray inside. LOVE IT!
I attend and serve at st John bosco, I have no words to describe how blessed I am to help the community. Regarding parking if people don't want to get blocked is really simple don't park in the parking lots. There's no need to be interrupting during the holy mass.
not fully open yet only for first communion ..but they are very careful, mask is need it , and keeping social distance, they will use sanitizer for the people that going in to the church...excellent service.
Es una Iglesia con muchas misas en diferentes horarios para los que trabajan, así no hay excusa para no asistir,y tenemos muy buenos sacerdotes, que dios los bendiga siempre.
The peaceful place ever, full of different activities to grow our faith. Youth congregation, Bible study , strong leadership on Cathequism for all ages. 100% recommended!
Its a good place to go if your from that religion and sometimes its good to go there when you need to cool off a bit
To do the baptism or communion they require a ton of things, they're very strict, but I guess it's alright
Very good and they have a lot of Masses. Parking situation is a bit rough but other than that it's great.
