"I love churches"
"A lovely Cathedral EXCEPT it's noisy with no respect for quiet time and prayers and reverence"
"La cattedrale anglicana di St"
"Well, I’d like to say how wonderful the church is"
"Perfect place for a photo-op with beautiful stained glass windows and impressive Gothic-style dome"
I love churches. I went to catholic school, sometimes i pray. I dont consider myself catholic. I also read runes, write letters to kali, see symbols from gaia and ancestors, am a yogi, curious in jesus. I dont want to offended anyone with my artistic interpretation of these beautiful stainglass illustrations at st davids cathedral. I will take them down if i do. Id love to learn how to make my own. Churches are inspirational, peaceful, safe. This one is all of those things. Right in the city, its a quiet space to pray, reflect, ground. There is a gift shop! It wasnt open when i took these.

A lovely Cathedral EXCEPT it's noisy with no respect for quiet time and prayers and reverence. People, including attending clergy, call out, talk loudly, encourage disruptive chat. Such a shame as many Christians and indeed, other visitors, would like the solitude and serenity of a beautiful building to cosset them, to allow them solace and peace. A very good addition though, are the new padded pew cushions; previously it was so uncomfortable to sit for any time in the hard seats even if considered penance! A visit is worthy.

Well, I’d like to say how wonderful the church is. I have never been there. But I can feel it wonderful is every night when I tried to sleep, I always wake up because of the wonderful big clock beautiful sound. I mean I like the clock. But I prefer sleeping well. That's the important thing, isn't it? So could you please change the clock night time? Cheers
Perfect place for a photo-op with beautiful stained glass windows and impressive Gothic-style dome. There is a nice quiet garden that you can sit down and relax. There are pamphets given out to casual visitors to explain the great history behind the church and introduce you to a full tour of the whole cathedral.
Anyone who loves old Gothic style architecture from the 1800s will love this church. Beautiful stated glass windows, a gigantic pipe organ, and a museum which helps explain its' history. The shadows and lights that the many windows cast makes it a great spot for photo and video.
There's more than one reason to go to St David's. It doesn't matter what or who you seek, and there are always the fantastic Bellringers who practice every Sunday and Monday. Maintained by a band of plucky, unpaid volunteers, why wouldn't you have a look?
What an absolutely beautiful cathedral in the heart of Hobart! I popped in whilst exploring the city and didn’t regret it. Fantastic timber ceiling and incredible array of stained glass windows. Absolutely beautiful
Lovely cathedral in Hobart which I visited twice while on holiday in Tasmania in 2017. Service went well, coffee and biscuits afterwards, as we also do in England. Stained glass windows. Heated pews!
Very disappointed I came in to seek some guidance or something as I felt the church calling me, I even spoke to a couple of staff there that didn't seem to want to know me.. Very sad really.. …
Beautiful Old Church, Amazing Stain-Glass Windows,Wonderful Chapel and Interesting Church Museum, a must Visit,a very Touching Memorial for Port Arthur Tragedy, a very Serene,Peaceful Atmosphere.
Loved the stained glasswork within the church. In the heart of Hobart CBD, the church offers the perfect escape from the drudgery of life. There is a museum within the church.
Worth a visit even if you are not religious, for the self guided walking tour of the historical aspects of the Cathedral. Awesome stained glass windows as well.
Historical building on one corner of the only Georgian architecture crossroads in Australia. All 4 corners have residual Georgian buildings in current use.
Beautiful place . We listened to the choir practiceing .also had a little museum connected with some artifacts dateing back to the 11 century..
Wonderful old stone Church....nice spot to pause and sit in the pews and soak in the history of those who built and worshipped here.... More
A wonderful series of concerts were held during the Festival of Voices. A wonderful space and place to visit and worship in central Hobart

Perfectly placed in Hobart with a beautiful call to gather and sing or pray. A special place to spend time ...anytime.
The stained glass was absolutely beautiful and really conveyed the stories they told effectively through their art.
Beautiful church in central Hobart - worth a visit, and they have little guide sheet to show you round the place.
Spectacular inside. In the museum the army flags have been badly neglected. They should go to an army museum.
Really pretty church. It's worth going in to have a look at the stained glass and the little handmade store
I just loved going there and worship with other believers. Dean's sermons are the best …
There was a Christmas card and gift market. It was staffed by beautiful kind and helpful ladies.
Beautiful church with a lovely courtyard. Only problem is I didn't see a wheelchair\pram access
