I saw a map of Nairobi from 1896. It was sparse, bare, had two major carriage roads; the main one being Sclater's Road which happened to pass right in front of this church. It's a marvel how resilient rock can be. This church embodies Western influence; sometimes it looks Classical, sometimes Gothic and sometimes more a taste of oriental forms. It's a journey into time and religion's imprints on it.

Catholic Church located in Parklands. We have the Mother Mary grotto around which you can say your marian prayers; also an adoration chapel both offering silent atmospheres to make your prayers. Just in case, you might fail to notice, there is a petition box within which you can live your written prayer in the adoration chapel.
