"Absolutely beautiful church"
"The homiles are concise, very meaningful to daily life and faith deeping"
"If you are searching for a home church, visiting, current member or returning to the Faith of Catholicism you will find the pastor provides great insight with the word in his homily and the congregation generally meets for coffee afterwards "
"On our trip twice to the US this had been our church for attending the holy celebrations"
"My son's baptism was held here by Father Kamas"
Absolutely beautiful church. The Concert was lovely. Some wonderful singinwishbg by the Soloists that evening. I wish it had been advertised much better than it was. Maybe it would have been much better attended. A concert of music by a a living composer should be heard by far more people. Lovely music.
The homiles are concise, very meaningful to daily life and faith deeping. It is like this in every mass and there is the exposition of the blessed sacrament after mass. It's a place that is very conducive to praying wholeheartedly. I wish all churches are like that

On our trip twice to the US this had been our church for attending the holy celebrations. We have been there in Easter and Christmas too. It was a great experience just being there in that awesome place. The choir and the organ both play at
My son's baptism was held here by Father Kamas. He was wonderful and patient with my tot and had lovely words to say over him. The church is in great condition and clean. Very clean. Everything was beautiful and the environment was peaceful.
Truly spectacular RC church with some of the most awe inspiring architecture you will ever see. The exterior is traditional yet grand and stately with the two towers and massive dome on top. You just can't miss it from the street. The
St. Anne's Novena every night at 7:30 PM July 17-26 Mass, Eucharistic Procession, Benediction, Novena Prayers to St. Anne, Veneration of the Relics of St. Anne, Mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Grandmother of Our Lord Jesus Christ
Has been my home parish since 1996. An incredible beautiful church, built in the early 1900's by the Fortune Ryan Family. Father John Kamas is the head of the parish. Dedicated, caring and an enlightened. And eloquent speaker, Father
The doors were open, and you are allowed to sit and contemplate. Recommended for afternoon devotion and the light of the western setting sun shines through the colorful stained glass windows, bathing the pews in soothing golden beams.
As a protestant who stopped in for a Sunday mass, I was pleasantly surprised at how forward-thinking this church is. They maintain the values and traditions of Catholicism while still centering their message around Jesus and love.
A true gem. My wife and I were making a small pilgrimage through the city visiting various churches, and this was our favorite. We used a photo from as a prayer card for our wedding. Incredibly beautiful around Christmas time.
My family has attended the children’s mass during the annual Feast of St Anne continuing a tradition started by my Grandmother. St Jean Baptiste is a beautiful church filled with a welcoming community of parishioners.
Went here for St. Jean Baptiste High School Graduation. Very beautiful ceremony in an awesome place. Looks like a church from a fairy tale. Simply Gorgeous. Congratulations to all young ladies and their accolades.
Stunning detail, welcoming and friendly staff. Plan to sit and let your spirit be lifted at the awe and beauty. Mass was lovely with traditional cantors. Lots of incense did send me into a coughing spell though.
Feels like a the kind of church out of a story book, sooo beautiful. I couldn't believe I found it just looking for a Catholic church while I was in the area one afternoon. Looking forward to going in again!!!
Where to go on Sundays to be sure to have a terrific start to your week. The Pastor Priest makes the messages really stand out, a true man of God! Sometimes they have bagels and coffee after the 11am Mass!!
Beautiful church in upper Eastside. Exterior and interior are both well kept and when you look up at the ceiling you will feel peaceful. Manhattan has many beautiful churches and this is one of them.
Beautiful intelligent church with nice interiors. We visited this church as it was nearest to our dinner reservation on Ash Wednesday. The pastoral staff seem very friendly and welcoming.
This is the BEST Church in NYC, So Beautiful, and the Priests and brothers are so Filled with Christ, the Mass is the salvation of our souls and they make you feel one with the Eucharist
Wonderful architecture. Looks amazing amongst all those blocks, skyscrapers around. Im a Russian Orthodox but I prayed there. Will my God accept this act? Will he not be angry for this?
Its a pretty church. To bad for all these building casting a shadow and blocking its awesomeness. It has a great theatre in the basement liken to being at a Broadway play.
My favorite church for over 50 years with a lovely St. Anne Shrine within, + a very dedicated Pastor, Father John Kamas for many years with neighborhood outreach.
Church interior building is very beautiful. Unfortunately, some of the congregation have an unwelcoming demeanor towards the color of brown skin. More
There most beautiful way to spend time with our Lord and your neighbors!! Oftentimes there's coffee and tea and fellowship with donuts and bagels too!
My Church for long time when I arrived to New York...for the third time Beautiful architecture! Rebuild by a peruvian designer. An excellent Priest
Gorgeous church and quiet contemplative evening Mass. Soft spoken and an obviously very active congregation in community involvement and outreach.
Beautiful Catholic Church that is a place of worship. It's going through renovations so any contribution would help them greatly.
Beautiful Christmas Mass. Lovely church with perpetual adoration every day. Love going when I visit New York.
Went to the theater for a performance by The Symphony Chorus and it was a very nice venue with good acoustics
Beautiful old Roman Catholic church in the upper East side of Manhattan. Attended a wedding there recently.
This is a very beautiful church. Mass is back on a daily basis at 12pm noon, preceeded by the rosary.
Beautiful church. Attended a graduation and the place was completely full.
