My mother had a bad experience ordering online from Staples. She ordered a number of items on October 24th. After two weeks, the order still had not arrived and we had received no communication from Staples regarding the status. When following up with UPS, who was supposed to deliver the package, they indicated that the order was rerouted back to Staples as they could not deliver to a P.O. box. However, UPS nor Staples actually contacted my mother or I to inform that they couldn’t deliver to P.O. boxes and actually needed a physical address. Also, when ordering on the Staples website, there is no note on the webpage indicating that you need to enter a physical address. The communication between Staples, UPS and us, the customer, was nonexistent and poor. When following up with Staples, they indicated that since the order was being rerouted back to them, they could not send it to our physical address at this point and would only offer a return for the item, indicating that we would have to repurchase the items and have them shipped to a physical address. Very poor customer service, and lack of information and communication regarding the need to ship to physical addresses only. We will not be ordering online from Staples in the future.

I come here fairly often but god forbid you need to use the print center and something isnt working or you need help! I was here today and witnessed a man who was having trouble with the printer. He has spent 15$ on something that didnt print properly. None of the staff offered to help even though they were watching him. Then when he did ask for help the woman who helped him completely freaked out! It was like watching a toddler who didnt get their way. She walked back to the printers in a huff and the man was completely calm yet she kept trying to argue with him. When he said that it was fine he just wanted his money back she told him that wasnt possible; that is when he calmly asked to speak with a manager. Hopefully the manager was able to help him as I left. I cant believe how unprofessional that staff member was!! Though i’m not totally surprised as Ive had staff members act exactly the same way with me when i need help because their signage isnt clear, hidden or too small to read.

If I could give less than one star I would. Bought a GoPro Hero Package for my grandson for his birthday. Next day delivery to store is what it said. Next day called to confirm to come pick up and they tell me that sorry it needs to come now from Calgary and may be in next week. I called the help line and get the Philippines and am told being shipped by UPS and may take up to 10 days. Called head office and spoke to an employee there and said no problem go buy another and when that one comes in to the store refuse it and get a refund. You got to be kidding What a horrible way to do business on line. Basically a bait and switch tactic. Does not make me want to come back and buy from Staples again. Cautious if you buy on line as it may say it is there but hate to see someone else go through the drama I have and now have to go put more charges on my credit card or tell my grandson his present will come later!!!!!! Store was not helpful and left me on hold for 10 Minutes.

I went there today around 3:45pm to print files, the tall white old man at the entrance was VERY RUDE. He blocked me and my friend at the entrance and said that it's only 1 member per household. I told him that we live in a different house but he insisted that we came from the same car, the fact that me and my friend met on Ellice and walked our way to Staples. "I DON'T KNOW IF THE MAN WORKING FROM THERE KNOWS THE MEANING OF 1 MEMBER PER HOUSEHOLD" as what he said. My friend is supposed to be buying something from there but ended up leaving at the store because the white old man did not allow him to come in. "BEWARE OF THE TALL WHITE OLD MAN WORKING FROM THERE" because even if you live in a different household, he will not allow you to come in if you have somebody walk in together at the same time in their store. I GAVE ZERO STAR TO THIS LOCATION AND TO THE WHITE OLD MAN.

Went to this store in hopes to print funeral cards for my grandmother as we had done this the year previously for my uncle. The lady at the print shop was rude and uninviting when it came to assisting with the situation. I had used the same template funeral card that we used for my uncle's last year and done the same exact thing and brought the file to Staples in which the lady assisting me continued to say that she was unable to print the size I had wanted. I had to prove that the size I had was provided by Staples and she continued to doubt me asking if i was on the wrong website. She wasn't even providing alternatives to help with my situation. I would not recommend to get printing done at this store. I ended up printing my cards at UPS, which is in the same lot. They were much more helpful.

Warning for persons buying gift cards to give as gifts or prizes - DONT PURCHASE! These cards require a store activation and then a second activation, which isn’t made clear when purchasing. This second activation is set in place in hopes that this will not be known by receivers of the cards, if you can’t provide the order #, phone # or email used by the original purchaser then your card is rendered invalid. I wasn’t given any numbers when I won one of the cards, nor when I was gifted the other, so my cards are now trash. I’ve never had problems like this with any other gift card. Please take your business elsewhere, support a company who actually cares about their customers. I really needed this bit of extra help right now. Staples you’re foul.

November 24 around 1:30 p.m. I came to this store at 1450 Ellice ave. I needed to print and make a copy of the book. The dark-colored woman at the cash register was very unfriendly and didn't want to help me. As a result, they called the manager, this bald man, took me to a large car, said a couple of phrases and pointed his finger. I asked to show and help, please, I never did this. In the end, I left and sent everything nearby to UPS. There was excellent service, everything was done quickly and efficiently, very kind guys. The Staples store needs to change employees, fire the stupid staff especially the manager. This is not a manager, I have been in many countries, this attitude is not acceptable, this is not work. During Winnipeg's lockdown, I was able to do my purchase online and then head to the store for pickup. I arrived a bit earlier than I should have, as they were only doing curbside pickup from 11.am (I should have called and checked the store hours, my bad). While waiting for the store to open, a staff member (I wish I got his name) was setting up the stall numbers for the curbside pickup. He came over and asked who I was and what I was picking up, and also confirmed I had an order. He promptly went inside and brought my order out. I was extremely happy as he did not have to do this before the store opened, and again it was a above and beyond thing to do. Thank you very much for the excellent service!

Went to go get return label printed but had to email them to myself (no big deal) but it would not let me print the full image. So the staff suggested I go on the computer that is there to print. They did not explain that the computer was pay per minute and that it had a long load and buffering times(more time was loading email than I was on it) so I had to put more money on my card. Then I finally go to print and it still won't let me do the full image (even though the staff said it would) and I just wasted money waiting for the damn thing to load for a print job that I couldn't even do. Lesson learned on my way to buy a buy a printer will take less time and money the using Staples Print Centre.

I’ve placed ann online order on a Thursday evening, details says order should be done the next day before 6pm. Called the printing department serval times but no answer. Finally got a hold of someone around noon on Saturday and said my order was in progress and should be ready later that day and I’ll be expecting a email. I did not receive a email that day and had to call on Sunday to follow up. Called twice and finally got through with customer service that had to transfer me through printing. Spoke to a rep. And she had mention my order was ready but failed to send a email. I’ve waited 3 days for my “same day” order.

My experience was horrible here. Took my Photo here and I request for soft copy as well. They said I need Pen drive. Later, they said I have to pay twice because I am taking hard copy and soft copy, that’s why I have to pay about $25 each time. Moreover, the Manager said even there soft copy also comes following printing procedures.I never heard that before. Just taking an advantage from customer for making money. I was shocked while he said soft copy also cost him and it’s also following printing procedure. Never ever in this place again.

Ordered some ink cartridges and a piece of equipment. (Epson V600 scanner) Ordered everything online for curbside pickup. Finding the cartridges was a pain. They did not list under ink cartridges, nor with printer supplies. I had to search HP accessories to place the order. Pick up was easy, they emailed me back well within 2hrs that it was ready and I pulled into the pickup slot and called the number. They brought it all out in a couple of minutes. Checked my drivers license to make sure names matched and we were off, under 10 minutes.

Aman was stellar! She was kind, courteous and really doing the work of 4 people. They appear to be understaffed and the manager simply looked at the volume of the line growing, and dismissed it, leaving Aman trying to do everything, and she did. She is the face of that store and this review is to highlight how great she is and how everyone should see how she works and copy that. Quite a few workers left her on that metaphorical island and she persevered. All 5 stars are for her and the rest of the staff can have whatever stars are left

Always out of stock don't have what you want and the prices are a rip off they know that they don't care they told me that, they're only there for the paychecks, pretty soon Staples will just be a thing of the past because everybody will just order through Amazon to get their products as they're doing right now anyways because Staples cannot perform or keep up with a demand and let's remember them increasing the prices shows that they are losing the fight to stay relevant in the marketplace

Please be aware that if you are getting a computer fixed there, they do not include the cost of a back up when giving you a quote. I backed my device up prior to bringing it in, and was not asked or informed they would be making a back up. I was very surprised when picking it up that I was charged for the service of backing it up and the USB. I was then informed it is their policy to back up all devices, which I think should be made clear to customers, especially when I did not require one.

Please train your staff on the things that they can do and not do. When you visit the store in the evening to get your photograph done, tehy have different views that they can do digital and hard copy both, but when you visit them th other day, they deny of giving you digital copies. So, please have your standards setup right and let your staff know what the standards are. They also stated that no other staples will do, but then I had to go to another staple and they happily did it for me.

We went to staples ellice and there a girl named Arshpreet (working as an employee) ignored me and my husband for good 15 minutes as we both are standing and waiting for our turn. Even tho, we gave her a gesture for help and such a poor service that she did not bother to come to us or acknowledge us. Then I straight went and said, hey! Can you help us? She gave me a strange look. Her customer service is zero and she’s really slow! Please prefer other employees rather than her!

Usually don't complain especially if I screwed up, but I placed an order for some photo prints. Tried to cancel two days later, but was not allowed to as it was "in production". Got notified 7 days later that they were ready for pickup. I'm pretty sure it only takes maybe a couple of hours at most to print photos, so not impressed with the customer service and felt they could have been easily cancelled with plenty of time to spare. Will not be going there for prints ever again.

The best way to describe this print shop average. When it comes to the quality it isn’t anything great but is always decent, and they fairly reliable. The service can be a bit slow at times, you can get your order printed within the hour but there is no guarantees and that one hour can turn into six hours on some days. Usually I just pop in to quickly print from the easy pay as you go printers, which are really convenient if you are in a hurry.

Was hoping to have some very basic printing done - no luck. They managed to screw everything up and I never even did get my whole order, even though I paid in full for it. I'll stick to local sources from now on and AVOID Staples.***Update - was able to get my product, but it was just very unorganized. Here's a hint guys...when the customer's product is ready to pick-up, MAYBE contact the customer and tell them that!!?? Geeeeesuz..

I wanted to know if the staples print shop could make a hard copy of a downloadable e-book that's for sale on line, for my own personal use. The lady on the phone refused to confirm whether they could in fact print it. She put me on hold to speak with the manager. I waited for a long time; she likely had me on hold until I got fed up with waiting & hung up. Terrible customer service, go elsewhere for print shop needs.

I called the Print Center there about a printing question I had about their services and as soon as I was done explaining my question, the lady at the phone ended the phone call. This happened twice to me and I believe it was the same person both times. I'm astounded that their hiring standards are so low. Customer service? Never heard of it apparently. Very disappointed from the quality of respect received.

I'm writing this as I stand in line for the print studio for their store. I feel so bad for the poor women behind the print studio counter. They get no help while multiple staff stand around. I understand that staff are assigned to areas of the store, but no one is looking at laptops or printers at the moment and the line for the print studio is nearly out the door. Someone help these poor girls put!

Good selection of office supplies for a brick and mortar store. Lots of their stuff is a little overpriced, so definitely compare prices, particularly on big ticket items and electronics. They also destroy and throw out all returns and display model as a policy, which is really wasteful and serves no one but the shareholders. So a good experience, but 3 stars for being evil I guess.

Very disappointed in the service! Everyone is just trying to make it through this world so I won't name the individual. I went to Staples for a resume paper and when they didn't have any on the shelves, rather than finding a solution the salesperson plainly lost his cool. Hmm, Staples, do you work your employees that hard? Maybe he's a great guy that needs a little recognition.

Had a great experience with printing services here. Ranjit at the print counter really delivered. Did what she said she was going to do. I submitted a pretty large print job in the evening and picked up at noon the next day. I flew in from Alberta and this service saved me a trip to.... Glad I didn't base my pickup location based on some of the previous reviews....

Standard office supply store! A lot of staff were in the store and busy working on inventory or something, which made getting help a little tough. They didn't have expo Whiteboard fluid alone as a spray, you had to get markers in a bundle of you wanted spray. But they had a nice selection of calendars and planner, writing utensils, and even a cleaning isle.

This is a quality Staples. Staff aren't the friendliest but they are helpful and I can't get mad at that. It is nice and large. Isn't always the easiest to find things but I do get a serene office vibe from this particular Staples. I will go just to walk around. The parking lot is horrendous but that isn't Staples fault. Love u Staples, never change.

If you want to get some photocopies done, DON'T come to this location. At least 1 or 2 machines are always out of order. The last time I went, one of the touch screens had a Windows blue-screen-of-death! For these reasons I deduct 2 stars; otherwise, the store itself is a great store for what it is. I wish they had more flyer type sales though.

So we went for a photo for PR and they be like change ur outfit cz it blends with the background. So we somehow did smthng abt it .. waited for 20 mins, got the photos clicked and stuff…. Walked into staples looking for a laptop. Approached someone named Jason and he was so knowledgeable and helpful. Wow. He taught me so much and this will be the only place I consider buying a laptop from. Turns out he was the manager, it felt like an old school shopping experience since he was helpful and knowledgeable.

Most of the time I'm very happy with this store. But these shortened hours during covid, is completely unrealistic! Only open 9-5 as an office supply store, you do realise most office hours are 9-5!? When do you expect us to come pick up our supplies if you aren't open past 5pm? Sure hope these hours change soon!

We've dealt with the print shop here many times and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Staples carries a lot of things I wouldn't have expected them too so we ended up buying a lot more than we expected to. Prices were good and there's lots of parking nearby. Definitely a great spot for office supplies!

I wanted a laptop, which they had in stock! Why they couldn't sell me that laptop? Just vexxed because if it isn't sold, then I should be able to purchase the laptop. Staff knew where items were located. Otherwise service is left wanting. I liked the downtown location, but the pandemic put the kibosh to that.

Really disappointed .. I went for passport photos of baby . Neel namely person denied for service at 7:20 I requested him because i have an appointment of passport next day then he got ready to take picture but he was not feeling like to work then he made an excuse of clothes and even didn’t tried once .

I came in to buy thumb tacks and ended up buying ear buds too. Their website had a terrible selection of ear buds, but since i was here anyway I checked out their selection in store. Went for the print station none of them worked and if they did well they weren't working for me I even asked the desk to have them help and that was useless. The only thing I enjoyed about this location was you can test drive your crayons.

I went there for scanning some of my documents for the first time, the staff at the printer station were so horrible and poor customer service. They require everyone to do it by themselves without teaching or showing them how to do it.
