Warning to parents : we had our family car detailed at a cost of $100 in February 2021. After returning home we discovered they had unattached and unbolted my son's carseat and had just left it sitting on the backseat leaving it unsecured. When I complained to the manager I was abused and sworn at and accused of removing the carseat myself which was not the case as we paid to have a professional install the carseat only 4months prior. I personally will NEVER use this company again and warn other parents to follow suit unless you want your children's lives put in danger by this utter complete act of negligence - If we had of been in an accident who knows what could have happened to my 4mnth old son who was unsecured in the back seat. Absolutely disgusted by the blatant rudeness and abuse we received from the 'manager'. Thanks for your 'response'. Just to clarify - installation records relating to the original fitting of the carseat in November 2020 and then again in February 2021 contradict this. so yes I invite you to send me a copy of the CCTV footage that suggests otherwise. I raised with you a safety issue and to date you have refused to take it seriously denied all responsibility when the facts are your staff removed the carseat during what should have been a straightforward clean. I never asked for a refund or to be reimbursed for the cost of having the car seat reinstalled, but rather as the manager I felt it was most appropriate for you to be made aware of the matter so you could ensure it doesn't happen again . What is most concerning is you continue to operate wth under-trained staff meaning this won't be an isolated incident and it's only a matter of time before this happens again, which is why I feel I have a duty of care to let other parents know and I feel you was a manager have a duty of care of due diligence to ensure you have appropriate policies and procedures in place that are clearly understood & adhered to buy all employees regardless of new or existing. Your claim that you do take safety very seriously - unfortunately actions speak louder than words and your response just demonstrates your ignorance concerning child car restraint safety. I Stand by my comments will continue to warn other parents.

So I have never had my car detailed before - and I have owned it brand new since 2015. Obviously I’d heard some horror stories about people taking their cars to get detailed and then coming out worse/still dirty 400$ later. This absolutely wasn’t the case. I messaged Gary on Facebook before heading in by clicking the message function on their page - he made it super simple understand what would be best for my car, and before taking any action on it had a decent look over everything just to make sure I didn’t go too overboard on what I thought I needed. He didn’t include anything I didn’t need - and to be honest I didn’t think everything would be able to be cleaned given the state it was in (sears stained from food, my dog usually rides in the back seat and the cup holders were horrid) I was shocked at how quickly and how brilliantly this car was cleaned. It’s genuinely as if I brought it brand new from the dealership all over again in 2015. These guys are brilliant and are incredibly fairly priced compared to other franchises available. There are lots of magic hand car washes but based on reviews and my experience - tailor your service by speaking to them first and you will be blown away at what a fantastic product they sell

I had my car washed yesterday and while standing in front of the advertising board I chose to wash and clean both inside and outside. This was advertised on the board and the shop employee pointed towards a big sign saying $69. Upon pick up it suddenly was $85, because I had a big car - but they failed to mention that before the wash. Next thing the back of my car is still covered in dried mud. They said it would cost me another $30 to clean that up! When I rubbed it off later, it came off easily and I was really annoyed that they left it on my car! Also they promised to do the inside, but my floormat was still very dirty, the back seats weren’t cleaned up and the step on the side had still middy footprints on it. Very disappointed- will not come back again!

I was quoted and charged $75 dollar, only for an exterior wash. Car is clean, but some places on the Wheel were missed. When I saw the price board later, realize you can get $40 express wash including interior and apprach the counter, they told me this is the correct price for me, as I was getting a special spray and door seal cleaning which was not discussed when quoted, and they insist the price $40 is an out dated price on board, and whole board will soon be replaced. I lived locally and would like to see if it is the case in the future. Polite service but bit challenging to accept for price variance.

Gary and the team at Star Wash have taken care of not only my personal car's and my families cars but alot of our customers cars once theyre finished and before i deliver them back to the customers. They offer us great pricing and sometimes can even pick up and deliver the cars back to us . I've left numerous things and funds in the cars and never had anything touched or taken, cars only being driven to and from and not around just all around a good honest and reliable service. There quality of work is superb also and ive never had a bad experience to date with over 200cars.

Best in the area without question!!! Gary and his team provide the best service, best quality clean and best turnaround time no matter if it's a simple clean or full detail!!! As a customer for over 5 years, I won't go anywhere else with my VW Arteon (prestige clean, clay bar and detail), Toyota Hilux SR5 (Inside/Outside) or Holden Commodore Storm Wagon (Inside/Outside). I been here 3 times since they opened and you heard the saying if you want it don’t Properly then do it yourself. Well every time I have had my vehicle so called cleaned here i take it out into daylight and there are spots all over the vehicle they have missed I.e dirt patches. They only seem to clean the part of the wheel rims that can be seen when the vehicle is stationary when the car is moved forward you can see all the parts of the wheels they didn’t clean. Gary and his crew did an amazing job in bringing my Isuzu D-Max car back to a brand new look. I had the team clean inside and out, buff and brighten up the paint work then ceramic coat the car. It shows that Gary and his team at Star Car Wash in Pakenham take considerable pride in their work manship. Bill & Kath are truly pleased with the overall outcome the car looks brand new again. We are located in Cranbourne and will definitely be making the travel to come back.

To note, other car washes located inside shopping centres, do not have sufficient lighting in the washing area so there have always been missed spots etc and when asked to fix up, there would be attitude etc. and they forcefully try to up sell you with ridiculous prices, this place is different, friendly, well lit and worth every penny.

I had my FG Mk2 Falcon here at Pakenham Star Car Wash for a basic extrior clean at the cost of 50 dollars, they must of used sandpaper to clean my poor car as it was left with horrible deep scratching top to bottom, I was very disappointed with the service. I had just had the car cut and polished only a few months prior and had run out of time to clean it myself would not recommend take that time and clean it yourself!

I have been coming to Magic Pakenham for quite a while now and it is the only car wash I trust with my car. I am very fussy when it comes to my car and never have to worry about it here. Gary and his crew are always friendly and do an excellent job at washing, detailing and making you feel welcome. It is certainly hard finding a good car wash but rest assured you will not be disappointed here.

Used these guys for the first time and actually never used a detailer before. Was new to the area so gave them a go. I booked online and recipient instant confirmation, on arrival i was greeted and run through what my clean involved so I was clearly informed. On pick up my car was a million bucks. These guys did an awesome job, excellence service and would highly recommend. Will be back.

What a great service from this place. I came back from camping over the weekend. My car covered in mud and bugs. Inside was Putrid. I couldn’t be bothered to clean my self. I dropped off the car and came back to pick it up after a shopping. I couldn’t believe my self. My car looks like a brand new now. Friendly staffs! Great service! Worth the money! Thumbs up

Had my car interior detailed and the outside washed. They did an outstanding job!! Very very happy, my car looks new again!! There were some stains on the floor carpet that I was afraid weren't going to come out but there isn't a trace of them! Very very friendly and accommodating. Very happy with the price too. You can NOT wash a car properly in the dark. Looked great until I got out of the car park. They actually did not clean the passenger side of the car inside,windows were shocking and he talked me into paying extra to have the inside detailed. NEVER AGAIN and you people that claim they are the best must be effin blind

Second visit here. We got the car fully detailed inside and out, including leather seats. They delivered a great service on time. Wheels look great! There is space to sit if required and eftpos facilities but there is a small surcharge. Toilets are located in the centre, grab a bite to eat or shop while you wait.

We regularly have our vehicles cleaned and valeted by Gary and his team and they do an excellent job with great attention to detail. We have also had paint protection recently applied to one of our vehicles and it came up better than new. Highly recommended and great customer service.

Really disappointed with this service.. Paid $35 for an "interior clean" not too sure what was cleaned in the hour you had my car cause it was still covered in dust, carpets weren't even vacuumed. Save your money and just do it yourself. Definitely won't be returning.

Absolutely fabulous result! The sunroof had been damaged and the interior had got wet and was mouldy everywhere and really stank. These guys cleaned it thoroughly and I’ve not had even a hint of a smell or mould since!! Highly recommend them

Why do you take a car to be washed. Because its dirty i booked the platinum 59 dollar wash and another 49 dollars for head light cleaning and was told it would be up to 25 dollars more Why , because it was to dirty. Ripped off

Had a $59 wash and vac which took about 45 min while shopping. Was happily surprised with the outcome, windows clean, dash and doors wiped over and a bit of tyre shine as well. Very happy, will be back when going shopping.
