I viewed a Ford Focus online which looked okay in the photos and called up to view. Told them I will be there in the next hour. Was told the ABS light is on but its just the sensor as the car has been checked before it came in and has been plugged in. As this is around a £20 part I agreed that that can be sorted myself. Test drove the car and felt alright. Purchased the car and made to sign a document stating that no refund/guarantee whatsoever - Spoke to CAB about this who have referred it over to trading standards as it is a criminal offence to make you sign your consumer rights away. Anyway, as I was alone I asked them to park the car outside and I will come back later in the evening to pick it up. I picked the car up later and there was a new warning on the dash. "Break Fluid Low". I stopped by Halfords and filled the chamber (Took half a bottle.) Drove the vehicle home. The next day I was driving to work down the A5 when the light came on again and I had lost all breaks. I had to come to a stop using the handbrake. It failed completely. I took the car to a garage who did an inspection ( I have attached the report) who have stated the turbo is leaking out oil everywhere and the break lines has ruptured. In the report it even states that it is a "Danger to life." I called the garage and they said that theres nothing wrong with the car and that as a goodwill gesture they will look at it but I will need to bring it to them. I cannot do this as the car has no breaks. I told them I wanted a refund to which he said "Sold as seen" "No Refunds". I advised that under consumer act 2015 I am entitled to a refund up to 30 days. He denied this as it goes with the age and mileage of the car. Several phone calls later they then said we can look at repairing the car but I still insisted I wanted a refund, which they are still denying this. Now I have made several more calls for them to all be ignored, they have no agreed to a refund but they want to charge me a £150 "admin fee" for it as the logbook has changed name. I advised that they cannot charge me when the goods are faulty to which he responded again "I've spoke to trading standards we can due to age and mileage of the car." CAB have once again told me differently. I am now not getting any responses and I have sent a 14 day letter of intent to take this to a small claims court and to claim damages as I am not getting anywhere with these cowboys who care more about money than life. What if a family bought this vehicle and was on the motorway when the brakes failed?

Do not trust them! My wife had a baby last Sept and we were looking for a family car. I called them to ask about the condition of a Meriva as we live two hours away and didn't want a wasted trip with a 3 week old baby! They assured me it was in excellent condition without scratches etc ("to be honest mate, it's pretty much mint"). We turned up later in the day and the car was parked on the road outside. I had to check the reg as it was so scratched and dented I didn't think it was even the same car! All of their photos had been taken to hide the problems with it and the guy on the phone completely lied to me. We took one look at it and knew that if they had been so dishonest about how it looked on the outside there was no way we would trust anything they said about the condition. We didn't even bother speaking to them, just turned around and went straight to another dealership where we were lucky enough to find our current car. In short, they are liars and you need to think again if you are considering buying a car here! Edit The company response suggests the advertisement was for a low value Cat D car. It wasn't - the value was several thousand pounds with no issues listed. I guess it's no surprise they responded dishonestly...

I called stockland motors in Birmingham about a 2017 Vauxhall insignia, I asked what was the condition of the car and they told me very clean no dents or damage and drives perfect so I agreed to pay a deposit and booked my train tickets once on arrival I looked around the car then I noticed a massive dent in the door snd lots of scratches I asked him why he didn’t tell me about this he said he didn’t notice it but was very easy to see so I thought I can’t be bothered arguing as I need a car I just paid the difference, so to Make matters worse as I was driving home I’ve noticed a gear box issue I rang him and all he said was it wasn’t like that when we drove it so basically he told me to just do what ever with as it was my problem now I said I’ll leave it 3/4 days to see if they will do anything about but they have not got back to me so I would advise people not to buy off these people

Absolutely dangerous the way they drive around the residential side roads! Its 30MPH and yet this seems too quick as these roads house lots of elderly people and young children who play in the streets. When you ask them to slow down and follow the same law as everyone else they swear at you and are rude! Parking illegally across a T junction making you gambling with your life if you want to drive through the junction. They then park and rev the engines like crazy. I thought the engine was going to fly through the bonnet with the amount of noise it was making. When you report this in reviews they ring you to get you to remove it. I wont be removing this one. Wouldn't buy a car from here at all as though dont know how it was treated before you buy it!

Emailed to view a car. Very blunt response. Arranged to view car quite a rude and blunt conversation. Woke in the morning having arranged too view car too be told they will be opening later. Again very blunt message. Rude time wasters! No customer skills! Read reviews! Especially when considering I was showing interest in a £10,000 car. Absolutely bunch of jokers! Avoid!!!

I bought a C Max from this place in June last year. I should have listened to my gut feeling,, not my head. Worst vehicle i have ever bought. I was told that they had spent £750 on it prior to it being put up for sale. Pity they didn't spend a further £590 replacing the exhaust system which had every joint on the system welded. Needless to say it didn't last long.

Highly recommend fantastic service I phoned up about the Bmw we was interested in and went down to view the car and was happy the way it looked and took it for a test drive and we purchased our new car thank you guys at Stockland motors ! My dad is also looking for a new car I told him we have to go here so we will pop down later on this week

Bunch of crooks! Bought a car from these cowboys, didn’t even make it 10 miles home before the engine almost blew up. Then refused to refund me in full after fobbing me off for over a week pretending they were repairing the car. Quite frankly, I wouldn’t buy from here if they were the only showroom on the planet
