Had a nice time at this place during my vacation in amsterdam. However, I did have some terrible experience towards the end. I forgot my jacket inside the club and on coming back for it, the manager refused to give it to me and indirectly called me ‘an annoying tourist’ that wanted to ‘make away with their day’s earnings’, when all i wanted was to get my jacket back which mind you, had in it my wallet and passport. Needless to say, I had to call the police on him before he finally decided to hand back the jacket. It’s a shame that this manager basically treats his customers with such ill contempt. A big part of the service industry is the staff, you may have the best facilities and food but if the staff is rude to customers then that establishment has failed in delivering its core mandate. Sad!

Avoid at all costs! Unpleasant staff. We let our stuff at our table (a jacket and a bag) to go out for a quick smoke, came back and everything, including our half full glasses and my puff were gone. When I told the staff about it, they simply didn't care and asked me to order new drinks... When the bar closed, the security guy stood before us at the exit and rudely, almost aggressively, asked "Aren't you giving a tip ??". So we did since the whole staff felt sketchy and we didn't want any trouble. I gave a 20 euro bill and asked for 15 euros back but the guy wouldn't give me more than 5 euros. And as far as I'm concerned, that's called stealing. Don't let this place stain your holidays :D

I’ve never experienced bouncers like this before in my life… just came for a drink.. A first time at stones cafe was the idear.. looking forward to experience this bar.. and they said “I’m wiggling to much” I know myself pretty well and with 2 drinks.. I wish I wiggled as they were trying to make the owner believe.. (who was standing beside them and didn’t understand either) anyways a BIG 1 star for this hickup from their side.. unbiased.. if you judge people on their appearance or drunkenness I completely understand somehow.. but this was not the case with me.. with the low IQ on the bouncers side it probably makes sense somehow (don’t ask me how) in their eyes.

I'd like to describe the local but I can't. I don't know what kind of requirements they need to let you in. The first time that I gone there they tell me that the place was full (and I believe them) so I take a walk and then I noticed that the people enter. So I thought a few places had opened up and the entrance was 'open' again. I queue up again, wait my turn, and again I am told I cannot enter. At this point I ask for an explanation, which I am denied, not even dignified with an answer. I repeat: I would have liked to be able to review the place but the bouncers prevented me from entering WITHOUT ANY REASON. RIDICULOUS.

I walk toward the entrance, two stone faced bouncers stare at me saying nothing. I show them my id, they say nothing.. I become unsure "Umm.. are you bouncers?" "Yeah who are you?" "I'm.. a tourist" I reply "Where are you from?" "Norway,". He says nothing and start talking with some other visitors in the que ignoring me and letting some of them in.. After a little while I ask "Soo... is it a closed arrangement or something?" "Not allowed" he reply not even looking at me. I'm sober and haven't smoked anything, so I'm pretty confused right now. He just... didn't like me or something? I don't know.

Zeer asociale deurbeleid in het weekend tegen personen met een migratie achtergrond. De hele week door is mijn geld welkom maar zodra het weekend zijn alleen touristen welkom dit is me inmiddels al de 2de keer overkomen en hoor zelfde verhalen van vrienden. Tevens wordt je onder druk gezet door de beveiligers om ze een fooi te geven en wordt je dronken gevoerd door de medewerkers want als me glas pas op de helft zit willen ze alweer dat ik een nieuwe drankje bestel. Ik drink liever op straat voortan dan dat ze nog 1 rooie cent van me krijgen Dus deze bar komt op de zwartelijst

Verschrikkelijk deurbeleid hebben ze daar, Klanten worden afgeperst voor portier geld echt belachelijk echt respectloze portiers gaan ook gevechten aan met random mensen terwijl die al weg lopen heb het nu al meerdere malen mee gemaakt sinds ik klant ben daar ( ongv 1 jaar ) goed geld uitgegeven maar nee thanks klote portiers man daar zoek nieuwe gasten die een beetje netjes hun klanten ontvangen man. Ik snap best dat je streng aan regeltjes wilt houden en dat is prima maar een beetje dat afpers gedrag gatverdamme smerig ik kom er niet meer ga wel ergens anders een fles halen

The bouncer at the door looked at my friend and I and said that we should look for a more "urban spot". We proceeded to enter because we listen to all music and get a long with all crowds. In there a female bartender with dark hair was EXTREMELY rude. She clearly did not want to serve us drinks and the crowd behind us argued with her and then they refused to order drinks with her the rest of the night. Clearly she did not want to be at work that night.

Many things stand out in this premises. First .. security .. top notch and all security on the door and within know how to enstil contentment. Dj Brian Usher was slay and had me dancing very happily on the uniquest dance floor, a floor with a steep tenstep backdrop. Bar and floor staff were great crack and my 10 or more hours there this weekend past were priceless. See you soon this diamond house !

The server was very rude. As I was reviewing the drink menu and socializing with my colleagues, he was pushy about ordering quickly. He made us move tables twice and just wasn’t pleasant to interact with. I ultimately only interacted with the other server. The atmosphere/music was good. Bad server kind of ruined my experience however.

Prima tentje! Goede locatie, lekkere sfeer en toko waar pretsigaretten en pils gecombineerd mogen worden, top! Enige nadeel is dat er alleen op de deur een mededeling hing dat ze tijdje gesloten waren. Misschien handig om dit voor Niet-Amsterdammers ook online te delen, aangezien dit zeker onderdeel is van een bezoekje aan Amsterdam!

Ambiance absolument génial ! En tant que Français je suis aller voir la finale de la Coupe du Monde 2022 et l'ambiance était bouillante, les serveurs très aimable, un moment de ma vie et une soirée que je n'oublierais jamais, et ça s'est passé dans ce bar. Merci.

Excellent place for drinks and dance, the beer price is not expensive but!! The staff security ask you for tips in order to let you go... that's not fair and it's an abuse, I needed to show them my wallet with out chash, so terrible experience!! I paid for my drinks and for using the restroom!!

I went originally just to pregame (I had planned to go to a random rave) but the music, vibe, service and drinks were amazing so I decided to rip up the floor and close the place down. It was nice to entertain the crowd and keep them cool with my fan .

Went to the door. Bouncer said €20 for two. Took the money and we found out in the bar there was no cover charge. When we went back out he gave us back our money and told us we weren’t welcome! Avoid!

This place is perfect for a quiet day visit. There are tables and chairs outside and the view is lovely. The Latte Macchiato here is perfect.
