I went to StorAmerica on 52nd St to store some items (couch, desk, boxes) while we did some home remodeling. I got there at 8:00 when they opened to find no one there and didn't get there for another 15 min. After waiting for him to turn everything on I was the first of 4 people waiting to be helped. After getting my new storage 5x10 shed set up with him and paying my first month rent he said he needed to help the other people waiting and to come back in the office the day we planned to move in and he would show me the location of the unit and take off their lock so i could put on mine. Because I wasn't going to move anything in for a few more days that was no issue for me. The day I came back again no one was in the office at opening time so I unloaded my truck on to the convenient dolly's they had and waited for the office to open. They did not get there till 8:45 (45 min late). When we saw our unit (all of the units are the same) it had a regular door not a roll up door like normal. My couch would not fit in the elevator nor would it fit through the "door" to the unit. I am quite upset at this point. I had to load all my stuff back into my truck and cancel my unit. Now waiting to see if I get my money back for a unit that was never in my position. BEWARE IF YOU HAVE LIMITED TIME AND LARGE ITEMS THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO!!

Today I made a phone call to this location and spoke with a sales rep named Alex. Previous to calling StorAmerica I had visited and called a few other storage unit companies...so by the time I had the pleasure of speaking with Alex, I was not exactly the most delightful person to deal with I can honestly say. I started with asking Alex a few questions in regards to the policies of renting a storage there. He was so patient and informative that it promoted me to set a reservation for a storage. Once getting to the StorAmerica location still a bit upset because I had been searching for a storage without any luck and just wanted everything to continue to be smooth, Alex had shown the specific unit that would be rented and I must say the location was very clean, the hallways were clear, the unit was easily accessible. I really hope to recommend a lot more customers to this location and any of the other locations. The genuine customer service that was received today was so outstanding. I am a very difficult customer but Alex was so patient and got me squared away, made sure I understood all of the paperwork that was being signed and went over the insurance with me. Nothing else could have made this experience better. Thank you.

I was late making my payment so they put a lock on my unit. ..Understandable that's protocall... But them telling me guarantee that it is NO LONGER LOCKED (BC it was close to closing time) I couldn't verify for myself it was open for me. So waited until the next day and went there in the morning with my car packed with things needed to be put in my unit. (Mind yoy I have 3 kids so I can't be lugging all of my things around in the car like I am) when I get to my until... What do you know? Its STILL locked! And they had a note on the door stating they were out to lunch with a posted time that had already passed so I had no idea when to be expecting an employer so I can talk to someone. Leaving me with no choice but to leave and take my things back to the persons house and empty my car out. All to do it all again. TELL ME WHY IS MY UNIT STILL LOCKED WHEN I HAVE PAID MY BILL IN FULL!! ??? WHAT SENSE DOES THAT MAKE?? PROMISE ME ITS GOOD TO GO YET I CANT ACCESS IT?? IM CONFUSED.

They advertise free truck available but they do not have one readily available. You have to go to another location to get it and you have to make an appointment to use it. Incredibly inconvenient. They also claim that if you move out by certain point in time of the month you will only be charged a prorated amount for the month. This also is not true. A lot of false advertising to try to gain your business. Do not use them. Use anyone else. I am aware of what my lease agreement States. I am also aware of what your employees communicated to me. If there going to claim to make exceptions they need to stand by their word not make empty promises. I too work in retail management and I would not allow for my employees to lack the integrity to tell the truth or manipulate it. Incredibly disappointed in my experience to say the least.

I just rented a storage unit here today, and had checked reviews first, as one does. I noticed that many customers noted pleasant experiences with Carlos. First of all, the prices and location are great, whatever, it's storage. Carlos really is fantastic, he explained how everything works, and made sure I know what to expect and how to reach him. Carlos not only does a great job, but he's fun to talk with, making a mundane transaction not mundane at all. Somehow he hasn't seen any of the Star Wars movies, but that wasn't a big enough deal to take a star off my rating. Just kidding Carlos, but seriously, watch the original 3 films, and the other shows we talked about. Thank you for making this fun!

carols was the one that helped me hear I’ve never used storage so Carlos also helped advise the best size locker I wasn’t sure what size I needed and he was efficient in not only his knowledge but his experience to helped me make the right choice.he showed me sizes of the units multiple times an was patient. He went through the numbers 2 to make sure I knew what I was getting and paying for. If your looking to just store your belongings with good people storage america is your place. I was also quoted a price over the phone and it ended up being cheaper. This was an easy process

I researched about twelve different companies and initially selected StorAmerica for it's competitive pricing. Further dealings with them proved to be immensely satisfying. There is no question they want to earn your business and take good care of you. District Manager Clarissa and Maria (not sure her title) were impressive. Caring, friendly, fun, organized; and the facility is clean and cool, and very security minded. I recommend StorAmerica to anyone looking for affordable, safe storage.

Just like the other reviews read, I had a very positive experience. I called Carlos at 11am inquiring about their units. He was very courteous & knowledgeable and provided info about all the available units. I drove right over & met him and he showed me units of different sizes. I chose one, he reviewed the contract thoroughly with me, I signed it and walked out the door 30 min later. Total time from initial contact to contract signing was less than one hour. Excellent customer service!!

Best experience we’ve had so far with a storage unit. We went to down the street to the public storage and that was the worse place/experience ever! We got to this place last minute, Carlos helped us get in quickly. We even received a free moving truck for the day which was from their other sister property down the street. Even that property was great and attentive to work with! Thank you for turning a nightmare storage experience into a good one for us! Def recommended!

Got the door locked in my face promptly at 6:45pm today (7/11/16) after calling & asking politely for 5 minutes access to my unit due to late buses. No sympathy for someone dependent upon Valley Metro I guess. Now I have to purchase items for work tomorrow that i already own inside said unit all so the lady would not have to stay 5 extra minutes. 5 minutes that have now cost them further business from me. I will find storage with 24hr access from this day forward.

What a quick, easy and smooth process it was to get a storage unit all thanks to Carlos! I can’t thank this gentleman enough for being so kind and proficient! I discussed exactly what I needed, he showed me two units that were available and it was within the price range I was looking for! Signed, sealed and locked up my storage unit that day knowing I chose the right facility with very friendly staff that I can trust.

This is the worst experience I have has dealing with a company in a long time. In 5 months, they did not once get my bill correct or even consistent. The store manager and general manager refused to call me back. And they failed to bill my credit card correctly resulting in bogus fees. If at all possible i would recommend trying to find a different location to store your belongings.

This was one of my best experiences with a self storage places. When I walked into the office, Sarah C welcomed me with such amazing-ness. Customer service was top class. The place is nice and clean. I’ve never needed to rent a storage unit before. Jose was very patient and helped me assess what I needed. He even showed me different size units so I could visualize how big they were. I was able to get exactly what I needed and at a very fair price. StorAmerica has some great deals. I had a very positive experience and would recommend StorAmerica to anyone.

Phenomenally easy move-in. I showed up on 5/16/23 as the manager was on her lunch break. Her name is escaping me. Regardless, she took time out of her lunch to accommodate my move-in instead of making me wait, which she definitely could have! Nothing but great things to say. She was extremely helpful. Great experience all around. Give that woman a raise.

Easy process and communication with Sarah who assisted me. She was very kind and accommodating for my needs. I’ve rented here before and I could tell the place looked a lot cleaner and nicer this time with the new management so nice job Sarah. I’m very satisfied with the convenience I experienced and positivity from the office.

We stopped in today after booking online, our original unit was on the lower floor, Carlos was super helpful and said he had a unit on the main floor available, he easily switched us to the better unit for a great deal. Excellent service and couldn’t be more satisfied at the high level of customer service Carlos provided us.

Sarah C is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this location instead of the one on 49th Street. Sarah came from her location to help us with our unit on 49th after we had been calling and going over there for four days. Her personality is so bubbly and warm. If you need a storage unit please rent from her!

Wonderful management and great storage units that are convenient and cooled off. Was worried reading some of the reviews regarding previous management, but the new manager was so inviting and kind. Completely indoor units with free usage of Dollies to make moving in easier. Overall a great experience.

Nathan P. took good care of getting me set up with a unit. The location is clean and halls well lit. Only issue is that the storage units do not have any lighting - never been to a storage facility with no lights in the units, but this is made up by the lower prices.

Carlos V. is a rockstar! He got me a super a good deal when I needed it most. I would definitely recommend renting at this storage facility because you can tell he cares and loves his job. The facility is clean and the rates are great, what more could you want!

They office is always closed, my code for the door doesn’t work, and I can’t reach anyone. I paid for my storage unit, and signed all my documents but have NO access to my storage unless I catch another person going in. Very frustrating.

Friendly and clean. Really hot on upper levels in the summer even though there is some cool air coming very gently out of a vent. It doesn't go far down the hallways. Comfortable in the winter.

We now have an additional space! This is our 4th time at StorAmerica. Knowledgeable & polite staff. Always clean. Good rates and/or often specials. Maria is always on top of things...

I think this is an excellent option for storage it is inside and cooled so that helps. Just wish the hours were a little longer say 6am to 8pm.
