I don't do this often, but something in my heart is telling me to write this. Please understand, I'm writing on a different email so I won't be identified, I don't want any backlash coming to me, but I have to be honest. I have been in this place for a bit now, and I have noticed a few things. I would like to say that the young lady that you have up front is not that great. She can be good at times, other times not so good. And all I have seen her do is sit at that desk and be condescending to certain type of people, but great to other type of people which I find a problem. The facility wasn't clean as could be, and again just sits at the desk. But since you have hired the African American gentleman there, things have been much better. He is professional, empathetic, listens, try his hardest to take care of problems that comes his way. I have been in the office a few times when customers have been out right rude to him, and he is stern, professional and takes care of the problem. Not only is he good at the desk, I see him out there cleaning, walking around, conversating with people making us feel welcome. He is the utter complete package. I'm telling you this because most of us that have our things there talk, and a lot want to say something, but afraid to for she is there talking over him on most occasions, and seems to have the final decision on things in there as she has stated it is "her store". I have also over heard some customers call him that "n" and kind of ironic that those type of people are the ones that she seems to adore and treat kindly. For the reason of the you lady's actions is why 1 star is taken, the other 4 are for the African American gentleman. I'm hoping that the district manager sees this and praises the gentleman who I think his name is Bob. He deserves it. He works hard, he shows that he is dedicated and cares about the people in the facility. Please let him know that we, the customers, appreciate him. I will let others know if this method works, there are others that would like to show their appreciation for him.

This unit has been cleaned and cleared out from last Saturday. I spoke with Amanda who said she is the store manager and she would check the unit Saturday morning because I was going to be done after hours. I called again today and spoke with her and she stated she would check the unit and send out an email confirming the unit has been cleaned out. I am paid up until 2/28/2021, there should be no invoice whatsoever. I have called the store now 5 times with no response. I will be leaving this email for paper trail due to not receiving proper customer service at this point. This is the exact email I sent today. I have called this store multiple times and only got one answer redirected to customer care. Why am I receiving another invoice for March when the unit is empty and I have spoken to the manager twice now saying she would send a confirmation email but has yet to do so? I am paid up until the 28th but what if my pay date were today. You guys would be trying to charge me. This is ridiculous and the customer service at this point has been terrible. I will not be using this service again. Cheaper prices in the beginning but at what cost? Now I am on hold again for the customer care and they don't do anything but 'take notes on the account and have the manager call' which obviously I can't do myself. Never again, go elsewhere.

I feel sorry for the workers at this location. I can't believe the 5 star ratings. I was there a year and everyone I spoke with had received the same price increasing tricks as myself. Over the phone the rep told me the unit I agreed to was close to a door. It was over 200' away. That's a tough distance when you have no cart to help move things/furniture. They said they weren't contracted to have carts. As soon as my 1/2 price 3 months were up, they increased my rent 12%. The contract says they are to provide a 30 day notice on increases. An email invoice was delivered 2 weeks before next month payment was due. My rate of $94/mo was increased to $130/mo. I was told by store help that they would have main office person contact me. That never happened. I left 2 messages to the main office and never reveived a returned call. I went to get my stuiff before the last month was up. I'd called 3 days prior to ask store to hold one of the few carts they had. I got there and there were no carts. I'm 65 years old and it was really tough getting the 10x10 moved even though I brought my own hand cart. Amanda, store employee was gracious to helped me carry out my queensize mattress ... about 400 feet. There is no contract. The corporate will take advantage of you...guaranteed.

The people in the office are great; friendly and professional. I currently rent a parking spot at this facility and choose this location due to it’s convenience, price and hours of access. This morning, I arrived at 6:50AM to pick up the vehicle I have stored there. When I entered my gate code, the screen read “Sorry, Out of Service”. At first, I thought maybe it’s due to DST or they made a mistake when setting the system up. I waited until a little after 7 and tried again. Same thing; only this time I also noticed the time on the screen said Sunday 9:36PM. I’m now thinking, maybe it’s just the way they set up my access. Then another car pulled up to the gate and they couldn’t get in either. Then a truck pulled up and tried getting through one of the access doors; denied. This is interfering with my business and needs to be fixed. Keep in mind - The hours of access are posted clearly, both on the website and the office door - 6:00AM-10:00PM - 7 Days If they are able to provide a valid explanation and get this fixed, I will change my rating to 5 stars.

I feel very safe and comfortable here. At first I was a little nervous just because of the surrounding area not being the greatest sometimes, but this facility seems very secure. They have over 50 cameras and I was told they’re getting even more. The locks they use are better than padlocks, and they just seem like they’re taking extra measures wherever possible to make sure they are being the safest option for their customers. I feel at peace knowing my belongings will be secure and that the management cares about their customers. The property manager there is the nicest person you’ll ever meet. I hate that I’ve forgotten his name.. he has blue eyes and his name starts with J if that helps! I also wasn’t able to get into the facility until the day after I started my lease, and was given a small discount for that day that I wasn’t using my unit. Overall, this is a very safe place and the management is very considerate and kind. Would recommend to others.

I think his name was Ralph, he was able to help me set up and finish applying online via phone call. He was very enthusiastic, patient, and helpful with any questions I had. The same day I was able to go down and check out my storage unit. When my boyfriend and I got there, Jayce was very kind. They showed us our unit and walked through with us where the gates were if we wanted to pull up our car, where to punch the pin number in, etc. I have not yet had a bad experience. They updated their security and have night patrol which makes me feel a lot safer. I hope they are able to keep up the good work!

It's a little awkward if there's more than 1 person at a time moving into the indoor storage, because the entry doors aren't really big enough for 2 trucks or 2 groups of people moving. The indoor units are nice. One perk is that they have rolling dollies for you to use, which is really helpful if you don't own one or didn't rent one from your truck company. They have restrooms...but I'd stop elsewhere before you arrive if you need to use a restroom. It was very raunchy and unpleasant, no paper product, no soap, and very very unsanitary.

Store Space managers Jace and Curtis Made my experience very pleasant , I needed to get a last minute storage because after moving from California to Indiana , the moving co messed up and put my stuff on a truck to be delivered asap , when they were supposed to keep it in storage until I was ready. Jace was awesome he found me a unit by the door for easy unload access and he and Curtis were so friendly! II highly recommend Store Space on at 2615 Maddison Ave to anyone looking to put their belongings in storage!!!

I was a client for a couple of years, I just closed my unit because I finally have space at home for my stuff. The time that I had the unit at Store Space Self Storage was without any problems, it was clean and maintained, not a problem, ever. The process to close my unit was flawless as well, and they have great customer service. I specially thank Jayce, he has the most beautiful attitude. I definitely recommend choosing these guys!

Faye and Jayce were both very helpful, they went above and beyond what is necessary for a client at a storage facility. They ensured I was given a cart to use to make transporting my items to the car easier on me. They informed me which exit door I was the closest to, to make my trips faster. The facility was clean and well lit. I will use this facility again if the need arises. Thank you both for being so kind!

I’ve rented other storages at other place & it was always just bland service & not really explaining things. Jayce is a good employee he made sure I knew where the entrances & exits & everything I needed to know to be able to move my stuff in. He even laughed at my jokes which was a plus, cuz I’m not that funny.. but he made me feel like I was. The properties was clean & efficient, is a plus too

This place is amazing! Landon is Phenomenal can you help me get Answer my unit when I couldn't he deserves so much praise because he is great and he does a lot around here I've seen him picking up the trash out the parking and still greeted me with a smile and like I know It's cold out so nobody likes working but he was out there doing it So cool to see you landing I hope you get a raise!

We have been using Store Space for about 2 years now and it is great!! The employees are always polite and helpful! The building overall is always clean and well upkept. The only problem I have is there is no way to check out a moving cart if the office employee is out/on break. However if they are out they have signs posted saying the return time. Overall it is a great storage unit!

They were fast, very friendly and thorough with the process of getting a different unit and a lock. I did have some trouble returning my cart at 3:50 pm. No one was around to assist me with that and it says there is a $500 fee if its not returned. ‍♀️ I did hear there is alot of break ins at this facility units so having an insurance option is great.

I have rented here for almost a year and Amanda has been super helpful. This location is very clean, easily accessible, and the ability to rent units and/or pay for your unit online is available. I would recommend Store Space to anyone searching for a secure and easily accessible climate controlled unit.

The absolute worst storage place I have ever dealt with. Locked me out of my unit for no reason for 3 months with no response to emails or voicemails. Finally got it unlocked and they take no responsibility for their mistake and them stealing my property for 3 months. Avoid at all costs.

Super easy to do online. Great pricing Clean facility Clean and dry Well lit Jayce was excellent. Ensured I could find my unit. Explained key access and best doors to access unit. Very professional. Right down to business with the added bonus of a great attitude.

On site management is amazing. There was a pretty big miscommunication from the call center that would have cost me quite a lot moving out and they took responsibility and made it right. Thank you. Definitely would recommend storing here.

I REALLY appreciate all this place does. I just lost my keys and they are currently helping me replace the lock and get into my unit. Ashley and Jayc are really nice and helpful, place is always clean and available when I need them.

I just wanted to leave another review. I had a really great experience here. Nothing was stolen from my unit or damaged and the move out process was very easy. Dustin was very helpful and I hope there are more employees like him!

Customer service is awesome. I rented a smaller unit to begin the first of next month and realized it was too small. The transfer to the larger unit was smooth and the Indy site manager, Jayce is awesome to work with.

Stopped by to confirm my reservation and to check out the location of the unit prior to moving. Jayce was super friendly and helpful in showing me around, making arrangements and being flexible . Highly recommended.
