Wow!! What a wonderfully uplifting experience. I have been struggling for years to get back to a more youthful look and color. Well, I found my pathway ("Strada") in Jennifer, the owner. I showed her a picture of what my hair was like many years ago and asked her to duplicate it as closely as possible. Voila!! She made the miracle happen!! My hair now has the same depth of color tones ( by using dramatic high-lighting ), that I loved all those years ago. I don't how she did it but, now, she is my own personal fountain of youth. The extra bonus in this success story is the elegant style of the salon, the friendly professional staff and the wonderful choice of options to pamper oneself. So....if you are feeling the need of renewal, re-charging or re-vamping or whatever it is that makes you feel special, get yourself to Strada Salon and Day Spa in Willow Glen and make it happen. I usually dont post negative reviews but this time, I feel I have to do it. It all was bad from the beginning. I made my appointment on line and they kept on sending me texts asking me to change it (to accommodate their schedule, I guess). I went (just for roots and evening my highlights) and ended up paying a crazy amount of $ (given the final result). My hair is 2 shades darker than my natural tone and there are no highlights (other than the old ones that were supposed to be evened out) to the point that the hairstylist told me when she was showing me the final result on the mirror "and here are your highlights. Well, they are there, somewhere". I really didnt notice how bad this was until i washed my hair and saw how dark it is! I dont know if it was because it was her last day (according to her) at the salon, but I feel the urge to let everyone know! (BTW, the before pic is from the same week BEFORE I went there)...

I had a great experience getting a facial from Selina today. I had to take off a star because my appointment started 15 minutes later than scheduled. There was no receptionist there when I arrived, and the lady who was working on somebody's hair when I walked in was very unfriendly and unhelpful. After I waited there for a while, I asked her if somebody was here to help me and she said she couldn't check for me because she couldn't walk in and disturb anyone if Selina was with another client. She was very unhelpful and not great at customer service. Thankfully, Selina walked out a bit later, and apologized for running late and then I received a great experience after that. She was thorough and knowledgeable, and my appointment ended on a great note.

Kristi Kristi Kristi - ❤️ I had a wonderful salon experience - deep condition and a blow out - loving my hair! It's always nice to find a hairstylist who is great at what they do - plus she treated me like we've been friends for years. It was a salon/therapy session in my book - very nice woman. I also love the decor - it's very home-y and comforting - lots of pretty things to look at including the owners beautiful art (not a fan of places that go for super modern look - can feel cold) don't usually spend money on going to the salon but I will definitely be returning to Strada - worth every penny. Thanks Kristi! I would have posted a photo of my hair but unfortunately the rainy day got to it and a photo now wouldn't do justice for her work.

DO NOT BUY A GROUPON or any other service with this salon! I scheduled an appointment easily enough... they called me the next day asking if it was possible for me to reschedule to a different date. I replied it would be very inconvenient so she assured me they would handle it and to please keep my appointment time. Then 15 MINUTES prior to me appointment they called me with some story about how the machine was broken and my appointment would have to be rescheduled. Obviously I was annoyed but what really frosted me was the cold, apathetic and equally annoyed response from the woman on the phone. Her customer service skills were appalling! I wasn't offered anything to compensate my inconvenience.

I've been to Strada twice now for facials, and I love it. The downside is that both times I called, it was difficult to book a time, and I waited almost two weeks for the appointment. I will take some responsibility for this, as I waited until the last minute to book. But, once I got there, the spa was quiet, not crowded at all. I was greeted immediately, offered a refreshment, sat in the back while the room was being prepared. The esthetician, Katie, has such a calm, relaxed demeanor. My skin felt wonderful after the facial, and she was very good at reminding me how to take care of my skin. I will go back again as often as possible.

I went here because of all the reviews are good ratings. It wasn’t a bad facial experience to be honest but I need to mention this - I have absolutely no breakouts or skin issues. I came here for a simple deep cleaning facial .. Groupon price seemed decent enough too! But today I have rashes all over my forehead and I am worried because the lady said all products were organic and now I doubt it. My skin is not as sensitive as some of the others girls out there but I am slightly disturbed now that I have these rashes right before New Year’s Eve! :( sorry but won’t trust reviews and ratings again!

Like many of the other reviewers who had a Groupon, I also experienced unprofessionalism. My esthetician texted me two hours before my appointment that she was sick and needs to reschedule. She wrote that I can text her back or call her to reschedule. I texted her back, telling her I hope she feels better soon. I also asked her to tell me when the next available appointment is. It's been 5 days, I have neither heard back from her, nor from the salon. If she is sick, at least the salon should've gotten in touch with me to reschedule. Not going to try my luck with this place again.

I went to Strada Day Spa & Hair Salon for my facials in two separate occasion and it's a neat little place. A well trained aesthecian took good care of my skin and i left feeling rejuvenated. The place is super clean and welcoming. When i was there it was never too crowded which i liked and didn't feel i had to leave soon. It is close enough from our house which means i will be back again for more...perhaps body massage next. A good place to getting quality facial san jose has to offer.

I had a hydrafacial at Strada with Lovette for the first time and it was a perfect way to treat myself. Ive have facials in the past, along with microdermabrasion, and I must say my hydrafacial is my new obsession!! Your face is left feeling so clean and soft when you leave, and continues to feel amazing for the weeks following. Lovette not only provided a great treatment, she was thorough and has great customer service. I highly recommend this service with Lovette and I will be back!

Maggie is absolutely the best hair stylist in San Jose, hands down. I receive constant compliments on my hair thanks to her. I have very fine, thin hair which is difficult to color and style, but she tackles it with vigor. She listens to my concerns and desires, and also makes helpful suggestions. Usually I leave a salon feeling disappointed, but not at Strada. The atmosphere is always friendly, and it's not overwhelming. I am so glad I found this place!

I had an appointment at this place confirmed over text from them. When I reached, the salon was locked with no one inside. I tried calling and texting and no one responded. After an hour, they called me saying I am one day late instead of apologizing for the mishap at their end. Like some other reviews mentioned, stay away if you respect your time.

UPDATE: went back to Jennifer to get another haircut and she did amazinggg with the wispy bangs / long bob. See pic :)) She is the best with layers and bangs She’s amazing was able to fix my messed up bangs from a fancy salon in Santana row, the sweetest hair dresser and cute studio. Will definitely be back :)

Strada Salon is a great place to work! I specialize with hydrafacials. The machine is the real deal and works fantastic! We also have the LED light therapy for the skin, and custom facials for your skin type, and waxing as well. Booking online is easy and efficient.

I just received a Hydrafacial at the new location and what a charming place! Johanna was wonderful! Also My husband had a relaxing facial with a facial/shoulder massage and he loved it! I would highly recommended to my friends and family. Our skin is glowing!

Selina was really good. She knows really well what she is doing. She tested my skin before doing facial and recommended me the options which can be helpful for my skin. The facial went really well, my skin feels really good. Really good experience.

Jennifer is the owner and did my hair today. She gave me a full color and partial highlights. What a beautiful job. I briefly showed her a picture for reference and she matched my color exactly! I will be back and highly recommend her!
