"If you want a car park that tells you over the phone they take card, but then you find out that specifically when it comes to the £1 post-7pm fee they don't, and you enjoy hunting for a cash machine to then find they only have £20 notes and that the ticket machine doesn't take these either, and then wandering around Stratford late at night looking for ANYWHERE open to give you change, and then begging Subway to let you buy a bottle of water to get change even though they're closed, then this is the car park for you"
"The location to the station (both overground and underground) is fantastic just a couple of minutes walk straight ahead"
"It's a great car park"
"Thieves lurks around inside the car park, my cars catalytic converter and sensor stolen from inside this car park, parked there for only 40 minutes and its cost for replacing dealer 1250 pounds after market 550 pounds, they cctv camera and a guard patrolling the car park but how the thieves operate there, I think probably inside job, when enquiried about their responsibility they said they don't take any of the cars regardless of damage or stolen items whilst parking and paying a fee for that"
"24 hours car park"
If you want a car park that tells you over the phone they take card, but then you find out that specifically when it comes to the £1 post-7pm fee they don't, and you enjoy hunting for a cash machine to then find they only have £20 notes and that the ticket machine doesn't take these either, and then wandering around Stratford late at night looking for ANYWHERE open to give you change, and then begging Subway to let you buy a bottle of water to get change even though they're closed, then this is the car park for you. In conclusion a/ the machines should take card for ALL payments in an increasingly cashless society, b/ there should at least be signs explaining why your card doesn't work for this specific ticket, there was a large group of strangers huddled round the machine all very frustrated that none of our cards were working, and c/ give out correct information either over the phone or on the website (where yes it says cash only, but over the phone I was told this was only for season tickets and that card facilities were available - true, but clearly only for over an unspecified amount).
The location to the station (both overground and underground) is fantastic just a couple of minutes walk straight ahead. But the down side is how tricky it is to find the entrance drive into. It's by some traffic lights with no signage and not obvious that you can turn right and drive up the steep slope. We missed it 1st time and spotted it when we drove round the block again. Also take a tip from me and don't keep the card (that you get at the entrance barrier) 'safe' next to your phone. It wiped the information, but the person one the level 2 office sorted it so the machine read it. Two hours parking was £4:60 so not too dear and we got to Central London, had a half hour appointment and back again in the time. I would use this car park again.
It's a great car park. It's clean, secure, well signposted. I've yet to arrive and there was no parking available. Its location makes it super easy to get to and from. If you're arriving via the M11, usually with minimal traffic issues. It makes the perfect launchpad into east London, especially the O2 and canary wharf. The two glaring shortcomings are knowing where you want to end up, that will determine where you'll park... So do your research of what shops/stations and exits are where to orient yourself. And, this isn't cheap... Please factor costs into your budget. Lastly, this is within the ULEZ zone. So, advise the ULEZ tfl website as to whether or not your vehicle is liable to the tax, and you can actually pay in advance.
Thieves lurks around inside the car park, my cars catalytic converter and sensor stolen from inside this car park, parked there for only 40 minutes and its cost for replacing dealer 1250 pounds after market 550 pounds, they cctv camera and a guard patrolling the car park but how the thieves operate there, I think probably inside job, when enquiried about their responsibility they said they don't take any of the cars regardless of damage or stolen items whilst parking and paying a fee for that.... Totally rubbish
24 hours car park. Pay machine is on the 2nd floor. There is a card machine chip and pin. Can also pay by cash. No contactless payment. My ticket wasn't working for the machine. Had to go to one of the staff who helped me and print out a new ticket on the second floor. Turns out I'm not the only who had this issue. Plenty of spaces and prices are decent. Only reason I give 4 stars because of my ticket issue and no contactless payment. However I do recommend this car park
The entrance is a wee bit hard to find and not clearly marked. It’s directly across from Reed Stratford (see map). Great pricing for overnight if you’re staying at the Moxy! Only £1 if you enter after 7pm and leave before 8am!! I’d parked on the second level in front of the security a better peace of mind. The roof top, level 7 is also opened during the summer evenings (weekdays) and afternoons for drinks, games and various food vendors.
This car park does not have contactless payment. It's like the dark ages requiring cash. I only had my Apple pay, there is no contingency they require you to get cash or stay parked until you do. I couldn't get cash from machines or cash back. I was about to beg for money but saw a video game store where they buy and sell games, so I bought one with apple pay and sold it back for cash to pay this ridiculous cash only car park.
This got three stars because there is no denying that it is a car park, and a multi-storey one at that, as it has multiple levels and you can park your car. I dropped two stars due to the location. It's in a shopping mall, and they are not my favourite places (see other reviews). £2.30 for an hour. I've paid more, I've paid less. But it's a shopping centre, they should pay you to park in these godawful places.
Very good car park but don’t use it past 11pm if you’re a wheelchair user as all access to the car park is closed. You’ll need to use the steep car ramps to access the car park. Not ideal if raining or snowing and dangerous with little to no lighting. Newham Council need to make it accessible 24 hours a day or make it clearer the car park has no suitable access after 11pm.
Member of staff at the car park is very friendly and helpful, parking fee seems seasonable however a huge let down on the very limited payment system this car park has, which is cash only. No contactless whatsoever. If you are only bringing mobile to pay your shopping etc in the mall you will get stuck at the car park for not being able to pay for your ticket.
Feels like one star is actually quite generous - a dingy car park with high rates, which doesn't accept contactless payments (in 2022!). It doesn't even accept cards via PIN code - machine on the 2nd floor only takes cash, and you have to go all the way back into the shopping center to find a half-functioning machine that takes cards. Never again.
There are many levels to this carpark and what is also handy is that it has many different securities about it. There are attendants regularly patrol the different levels. There is also many security cameras that cover all of the car parks levels. I think it is a far better place to park and much safer than parking around the streets of straford
Easy to find and easy to get on the tube to access anywhere in London. We thought the price was good as well, we parked at about 3 and got back to the car at about midnight which cost us £10. With all the train strikes going on and the rising cost in living, it was nice to still be able to visit London and it not cost a fortune.
DOES NOT ACCEPT CONTACTLESS. Had an absolute nightmare trying to get out because it wouldn’t accept contactless payments. Also if you park longer than 4 (up to 6) hours the price jumps from £9 (under 4 hours) to £17 (under 6 hours). Westfield mall is much cheaper, safer, cleaner and nicer. Will never park here again.
Super convenient if you need to visit Stratford shopping mall, also very cheap parking for London. So, if you need to visit the Westfield center this is a much cheaper parking alternative by a factor of 5! It's about a 5 to 10 minute walk so maybe not so handy if you have a lot of heavy shopping to carry.
Great place to park if your staying in the travelodge down the road or going to the Olympic stadium. We had a problem with our ticket and the guys in the security hut (level 2) were very friendly and helpful and managed to resolve our issue. Thanks guy …
Definitely best place to park near the station.highly recommend if you only need to stay for an hour or so to do some shopping or pick someone up from the station. As of Aug 2021 a price for 1 hour is around 2.50 so it's pretty decent in comparison to westfield.
Great location car park and a fairly good price considering it’s very close to the shopping centre. It used to not be in any charging zone like the ULEZ that now surrounds the area. So that off puts the parking price if your not using an electric vehicle.
Easy to navigate and safe parking at reasonable prices. Well lit and easy enough to get to the centre. But for the love of God remember this is Stratford and check the staircase for liquids before using them as they are often mistaken for urinals
This car park is actually cheaper than other pay as you park places. Especially Westfield!!. It's older and not as nice to view but I rate it because it's convenient and descends by lifts into the Stratford Mall, for anyone using a wheelchair.
I have regularly parked there and the parking is not bad due to location but I had a very unpleasant experience today when I had to use my VW transporter. The first barrier indicated 2 for entry and than when you ride up the ramp there was
Had to drive to Stratford due to the Central line having severe delays. Difficult to find the entrance, even the satnav sent us the wrong way. Very tight turn from the main road. Not the cleanest. We came back just before midnight from
Filthy but does what it says on the tin. Close to everything. Note that the pay machine is on the 2nd floor ONLY so you’ll have to drive to the 2nd floor to pay for your ticket. The said machine is dated as well as the whole process.
This car park has improved over the years as so they think the price should to! It's very expensive for what it is. It's about the same price as Westfield across the bridge! Positives is that it's spacious and clean now.
Lots of parking spaces available, pricey, cheaper to park at Westfield Stratford city car park. Ticket machine accepts card and cash but not contactless, have to go to 2nd floor office to pay by contactless.
Made a big mistake to park there last Saturday when I could have parked on the street for free since there was no event. I sadly lost my ticket and got charged £25 for it. Absolutely sickening, annoyed.
NEVER park here, i couldn't find a space, limited Disabled parking, people driving like they were in Itlay! I was there for just under an hour and was charged £4:50 i will never park there again.
Staff are excellent, polite and friendly. they assisted me always and gives me so much confident my car is safe anytime. very good place to park and enjoy your shopping or work
Always helpful and enjoyable I wouldn't be without it as it's a day out and enjoy myself relaxing and staff have always looked after me after I've had a blackout/seizure
Good parking to shop at the mall or even walk to Westfield shopping mall. I park there when I need to go to both place, as it works out cheaper for the time I'm there.
Preeety cheap was there around 3 hours and came to 6 quid plus it’s a nice five minute or so walk to the mall and you get to see the surroundings area as you do so!
Dedicated motorcycle bays. £12.70 overnight outside of 7pm-8am. Park within these time for £1.20 overnight. Close to travelodge and Holiday Inn hotels.
Car park itself it huge and enough spaces. But getting there was difficult as Google map didn’t show this place , I guess it’s due to the road works.
So much cheaper to park there and walk across to Westfield. When I left after 9pm the barriers were left open! I had already paid for my ticket
Car was safe for an overnight stay, machines were broken for card users and had to use office. Does a job for parking a car close to Westfield.
Affordable car park, prices are really low during the week, try to avoid match days as is getting a very busy. Weekend a bit more expensive.
Need to be careful of this one.. check the bays where you park.. so many people gets fines issued cause the didn't read the signs correctly
Poor signage, non functioning lights indicating empty spaces created a dangerous risk to pedestrians and other drivers and vehicles.
It's 8 stories car park. Lift is available but stop on even floors i-e 2-4-6-8. The ground floor is inside the old shopping centre.
Easy-to-miss entry going in to the carpark. Tight left turn up to second level. Convenient to use but depressing!
Price was very good but trying to access the 24/7 car park at 11pm was impossible and had to walk up the ramp
***Too expensive (£5.90)**** keep your car at home and use the train (cheaper capped at £1.50 zone 2-6)******
Very expensive compare to parking inside stratford international parking house. And not really looked after.
Greatly Peaceful and Useful car parking for all the diverse people of the world ️ …
Secure car park. Close to the most important shops around. Advantageous price for parking even over night.
Very tight driving round this car park and expensive considering not part of the centre and not very nice
You have to rush to get your shopping done with the hour or you £4.60 just like newham councel a rip off
What can you say about a car park .. It's clean managed by warden. Went in, got out no problems …
I parked in a disabled parking spot and it was much cheaper than parking in Westfield across the road.
Difficult to find the entrance and to manoeuvre inside too. The price for the stay was decent though.
Needs much more signage. Looks a bit like a set from a horror movie. Stairwells smell a bit... dodgy.
Very difficult to find the entrance. Once you are in, then yes, there are good numbers of slots.
Be carefull with Google map it takes you sometimes at the exit point instead of entrance....!
There is always spaces to park and is very clean and good value for money. Your car is secure
I will keep it short and sweet, Expensive car park it's better parking in Westfield . …
Great place to Park short or long term and staff are excellent . Very good value! …
Much cheaper than the parking underneath Westfield by a long shot, great option for parking
Old but accomodating for all users. Very reasonably priced we paid £2.40 for 1 hour.
Very cheap parking in close proximity to the Westfield shopping center in Stratford.
Not easy to get into ss it's not sign posted well. But great price for evening rate
It is very good and cheap for overnight car parking ie just one pound for the night
Good secure car park, near to home and relatively cheap in comparison to Westfield!
Reasonably priced, secure and convenient. The attendants are unfailingly helpful.
Not been able to pay by phone only with debit card and pin . Not really safe .
Bit dirty. Had to run around to various floors to find a working pay machine.
Decent cheap price, always has space and close to shops everything you need.
Fair prices, helpful staff and now contactless payments taken at the office.
If it can also display directions in better way to more in comers to park
4 Marketing leaflets left on my windscreen after just 1hr parking …
Nice parking, easy to link with central London. Highly recommended
Reminds me of karlsruhe Germany mult car garage room for everyone
No toilets available here Good place to park reasonably priced.
Clean with good lighting minimum charge of £2.30 is a bit steep
Clean and easy to access. Nightmare trying to pay...long queue.
Spacious parking. Park from 7pm till day break for £1. Bargain
Expensive but usually a great option when working in Stratford
Cheap parking close to underground 2nd zone Good for visitors
Plenty of spaces for patrons to the gymbox and shoppers too.
Tickets are a bit pricey. Five quid for an hour last I heard
It's o tight that you gone struggle if you have a long car
Parking is alright. But the stair stair case stinks of pee
Tight parking space. No contactless payment in this era!
Clean secure carpark at a reasonable price …
Easy parking if you want to visit Westfield opposite.
A bit confusing in and out on foot but very expensive
A convenient parking place near Westfield startford.
Nice car park. Have slept in there when homeless.
Plantey of parking available throughout the day.
Bit pricey but if you have no choice it will do.
Good disable parking and helpful car park staff
Did not go here but understand its a bit pricey
Worst car park ever, ticket machines done work
It's car park here. I'll recommend to everyone
The best multi storey car park in Stratford
Fabulous Example of early 70's Architecture
I always get a space and the price is good
Spacious, clean and massive! Salim Patel
You have to pay for disabled parking
More space, more car parking free.
Absolutely rubbish, very expensive
