Graduated from Strayer University with a 3.67 GPA in Criminal Justice Administration in 2016, actually graduating behind schedule due to a year-long illness. This was a great online university for me because it was difficult to go and be in a classroom setting with a compromised immune system disease. Financial aid was an easy process for me. I only had to visit the university several times for in-person paperwork. There was a misunderstanding due to a rapid hospitalization in mid-semester which caused me to fail one class and the school thought that I dropped out. After getting well enough to return, it was difficult to get back in. I had to write a letter and produce medical documents. We got the situation sorted out. I returned and graduated. However, that prolonged year at Strayer made my overall tuition enormously high. Strayer is an expensive University, but financial aid makes it manageable. I appreciate and love all the Instructors that I had. My African American History Instructor was surprisingly Caucasian but very knowledgeable, respectful, and generously kind. I will never forget Professor Victoria Black, she and my Statistics Instructor (sorry forgot his name). They made Strayer exciting and educational. Afterward, I went on to graduate from Seminary with my Master's in Divinity. Education is whatever you aspire it to be for you. I made it! Thank You Strayer family.
this school makes everything difficult and you will have the worst time ever getting financial aid. i am running far away from this school as soon as i finish this semester! please do not put yourself through this stress. Im going to WGU not-profit school and already feel way less stressed!
