"First off: This is my new favorite shop"
"Had a blast renting bikes with my 4 kids ages 8, 8, 10, 13"
"We spoke with Brian on the phone before we decided to head over"
"We had an awesome time cycling around in Austin, thanks to Brian! He helped us out with two great bikes and two bottles of water, so we were immediately good to go! You can access the cycling trial around the river right there as well, which makes it super convenient"
"I am so pleased that I bumped into these guys"
First off: This is my new favorite shop. The location is awesome, but honestly just a bonus. I would travel further to have my bike worked on here. I ride for work, so the fact that I was able to drop it off and pick it up later that day was amazing. The fact that they gave me a loaner while mine was worked on was amazing. But, the most amazing part of the experience was that I had never had my bike come out of a shop looking or riding better. They have a true passion for bikes and the work they do. The pricing is great and this is my first recommendation if you're looking for a shop.
Had a blast renting bikes with my 4 kids ages 8, 8, 10, 13. Having not been on a bike it years and being solo I was a bit apprehensive, but the trails around the lake were well groomed and made for a very smooth and enjoyable ride. We wound up biking farther than planned and enjoyed every moment. Thanks to Brian @ Streamline Cycles for getting us all set up. (Grab a burger next door when you return. They’re great and you’ll be hungry!)
We spoke with Brian on the phone before we decided to head over. He was very friendly and helpful answering all our questions. He understood our needs and was extremely accommodating. Jesse was there when we arrived and had our bikes waiting! Helmets, lights, and locks provided; Streamline Cycles is THE best way to do Austin. They are conveniently located and are right on the bike and hike trail.
We had an awesome time cycling around in Austin, thanks to Brian! He helped us out with two great bikes and two bottles of water, so we were immediately good to go! You can access the cycling trial around the river right there as well, which makes it super convenient. Also, if you're staying in the Fairmont hotel (around the corner), you can return your bikes there as well.
I am so pleased that I bumped into these guys. Four days in Austin; a conference at an expensive hotel with lots of food and drink. I stayed 4 miles out of town, rented a bike, saved $1000, burned 15000 calories got to know Austin, ate and drank too much AND lost weight. What is not to love about that
Solid spot! Awesome bikes! Rented a tandem from him and it exceeded our expectations in how much fun we had! Rolled all over the city and it was hands down the best way to view the city. Definitely recommend streamline to anybody wanting to rent a real quality bicycle …
Really nice employee-owner.... He helped get my bike set up, told me the layout of the trail and even gave me a poncho because it looked like rain! I would highly recommend this to get around on the trails and see the city, you will not be disappointed.
Rented two bikes from Brian today and he was great to work with and hooked us up with 2 Trek bikes that were perfect for hot day ride to Mount Bonnell! We will be back to Austin again and will call Brian for bikes!!
Brian was extremely formative, patient, and cost effective. I only wish that he did oil changes, air conditioning repairs, and all the other basic maintenance for which I feel I always get screwed!
Rented a bike. Service was friendly and helpful. Told me which roads were best & worst for biking. Highly recommend here vs $8 city bike kiosks B.S. Helmet & lock were included with bike rental.
Rented some bikes with my family for a day. Great service, great bikes, great location (right on Lady Bird Lake). Best rental service I've ever experienced.
Super nice guys! Got my flat tire fixed in less than 30 seconds at a great rate. Definitely using this place for future repairs.
Great experience, very nice guy working there. It really is right on the lake/river. I went all the way around, it was beautiful
Great place to rent a bike! The owner gave us extra hours for free. Really great bikes and centrally located. Highly recommend!
Excellent service and convenient location, plus they're very friendly; Highly recommend renting bikes here while in Austin
Wow, they popped the wheel off and came back outside with it completely fixed in a minute. Absolutely incredible service.
Owner is a real cyclist and likes to talk bikes! You can rent hybrid bike or a road bike if you have shoes with you.
The guy who runs this place is extremely nice and the bicycles are reasonably priced. I will absolutely be back!
Awesome location, great bikes and super friendly. Highly recommend these guys next time you're in Austin.
Popped a Bob Stroller tire at SXSW. Fixed me up and it the door in 5 minutes for $13. Awesome experience.
Best bikes I've ever rented it. Really friendly owner. Good price for the whole day.
Very Awesome, great owners, highly recommend this place!!!!
