Omg, this place is so beautiful in the summer! In the heart of Streetsville Mississauga, this intersection is closed off on the weekends to allow people to walk about and enjoy the small markets and restaurants. Brightly lit at night and chairs all around, it's the perfect place to spend summer evenings with friends, coffee and ice cream in hand. This city within a city is a cozy hidden gem of Mississauga. Just a walk (city block) away is the Credit River. It has paths and trails and we love to bring Streetsville takeout food there to enjoy the waters. In September, the river has the famous salmon run. If timed right, you can enjoy all the wonders of Mississauga all in one place! Stay safe out there friends!
This is a quaint area in the heart of Streetsville where locals gather to view special events such as Remembrance Day or Canada Day ceremonies plus once upon a time when the Mississauga Santa Claus Parade marched past this square. Many speciality shops and businesses line each side of Queens Street South / Main Street. It still has the small town feel when you stand at this crossroads of progress and tranquility.
Streetsville village square is a year round public place which host movie nights and concerts as well as all manner of community events from car shows to farmer's markets. Cenotaph is a statement memorial monument of the Square. Square is a busy place during summer time with festivals, events, dance nights/ salsa and performances. Good for stroll or dinner on a patio, nice outdoor sitting area.
I really find this clinic very convenient as they have a provision to take your blood samples and send it a lab directly. Last week my husband went for his blood work and Priya took his blood sample and was very patient, helpful and understanding. She also checked his blood pressure and heart rate on his request. I highly recommend this clinic because of it’s friendly staff.
Streetsville square always has live bands, entertainment for kids, they have markets sometimes in the summer. They have summer and winter festivals, There is access to trails and lots of restaurants to choose from. Always a nice spot to hang out with friends and family. I love that there is a lot of different. I usually stop by for coffee sometimes with my dogs.
I believe, that the Cenotaph should have been left where it was, instead of being moved back from the road. It now has less visibility. Also, the canopy area around it, for restaurant seating, detracts from its purpose. …
Beautiful place that always seems to get better and better with the renovations. Murphys is always busy and the pictures that you can take here are great! They have nice events sometimes and the Christmas tree was amazing!
It was the veterans parade celebrating 1st war 2nd .Korean and other conflicted.this is also the a diversity of the mississauga train serilnent 1979/39 years ago.1st war was 100 years ago
One of the best outdoor spaces in the city! Great pedestrian and family-friendly area with a bounty of shops and food options. Also close to a park and ravine. Enjoy on a sunny day!
Lovely seating area. This small section is closed off to traffic, but people can walk around. There are several tables, chairs and a few umbrellas for people to sit.
Nice enjoy outdoor space. It's not hard to imagine it with events and celebrations, decorated and full of life. When we visited though, it was afternoon and quiet.
This picture was taken in a lovely summer night. Streetsville village is a very nice place, tradition, heritage and nice restaurants. I love this area so much.
A gem in the midst of the chaos of urbanization. Such architectural character. And the festivals and concerts always are an amazing experience.
Had an amazing time in town Square for the live . Streetsville residents are great . Lots of places to grab something to eat and dessert
Too crowded on festivals, and the nearby restaurants lack quality food and are too expensive, but go Mississauga square instead !!
this place was so good and their dish portions are much more than what you pay for. the flavours are very authentic!
We went to the Christmas market for the first time and really enjoyed it. Love the stores in the village as well!
Small square, could be better utilized. Nice that they close it off when they are doing things with pedestrians.
Nothing compared to Unionville ,Elora or Niagara on the Lake. Streetsville is the definition of dank.
Great place to take your family and have fun. …
