"Great eclectic shopping arcade in George's Street"
"The arcade is a charming red brick building that used to be a meat hall so it's designed to be cool in there and one can feel the chill even on summers day"
"I am a sucker for red brick"
"Really amazing shopping mall that has the magic vibe like Harry Potter with shops that sell original and old books, Celtic jewelry, handcrafted shops, clothes and even tarot readings"
"Soooo much fun!! Security here is amazing, a guy force kissed me and security walked around with me trying to find him"
Great eclectic shopping arcade in George's Street. An archway in the high victorian redbrick buildings on this section of the street lends a real bohemian air to the shopping experience. You can get a piercing done at the silver counter, buy vintage one off clothing, visit an Indian jewelery and ornament store, get your fortune told, ( though not in Covid times) and browse the old vynl records and money section. Then buy some original Irish glass and tiles or cards and gifts. Then head down the far end of the arcade and have some great freshly prepared food in the restaurants and cafe's. Visit the beautiful silver shop New Moon selling unusual silver rings, necklaces, semi precious stones suitable for men and women. Their are loads more shops there to see, definitely somewhere you will find a unique gift and spend time browsing and enjoying some great food. A favourite with independent minded people and it also attracts the discerning tourist.
The arcade is a charming red brick building that used to be a meat hall so it's designed to be cool in there and one can feel the chill even on summers day. Nice part of the old Dublin. A few quirky shops and some stalls. "Simon's place" is a really lovely coffee shop in there right at the entrance off South Great George's Street. The record shop and 2nd hand shop worth a visit too. Also a little food stall where they sell chocolate coated nuts and all sorts of dried fruit and vegetables.
I am a sucker for red brick.. This part of Dublin is very busy, quirky, colourful and fun. The Arcades have a few cool places to eat, Bodega being my favourite. You can buy sweets, jewelry, funny sun glasses and vintage style clothing. You can also walk around and people watch. There is something for everyone there... …
Really amazing shopping mall that has the magic vibe like Harry Potter with shops that sell original and old books, Celtic jewelry, handcrafted shops, clothes and even tarot readings. If you're looking for a lovely and delicious veggie or vegan burger; go to FLIP which is also located in this shopping mall.
Soooo much fun!! Security here is amazing, a guy force kissed me and security walked around with me trying to find him. I couldn’t but still they seriously care about their patrons. Also such a good time and the drinks aren’t too much, massive smoking area, and the dance floor is the best
October 2022-great little walking street which is indoors, and contains many little shops and restaurants. We stopped at Rare, a little clothing and accessories store focusing on anime and rave type gear, and I picked up a Spirited Away sweater and a hoodie with a cat in sunglasses.
If you looking for a small gift, present or a souvenir, do not look any further! You may not know what you want or look for but I am sure they have it here! From books, pictures and jewelry to e-cigarettes! And after browsing/shopping you can get some food or your nails done. …
Located at a popular tourist district in Dublin. It has a variety of interesting shops there but lots of them didn't open on Sunday so a bit disappointing when we got there :( Hopefully we can come back again to see the hustle and bustle of the place :)
You must experience the arcade. Almost like an indoor flea market with vendors. So much to see. I purchased Dublin historic scenic pictures from an artist, a Hello Kitty wall clock, & gifts. Loved it. Love to purchase from local artists.
Some really quirky shops and nice places to eat. We had an amazing breakfast and very reasonably priced here. Can't remember the name but it was a little kiosk and we sat on bar stools. Guy was very funny.
A fab arcade full of great stalls selling all sorts. I picked up some Dublin and Ireland themed pictures on an artists stall and dome crystals. Love this arcade! You never know what you might find!
Love this place..plenty of food options. Vintage clothes shop, jewelry shops. .great atmosphere..simons one of my favourite litte café best sandwiches and love selection of dessert
I was really looking forward to our visit, but unfortunately at least half of the shops were closed as we walked through. The shops that were open were not very appealing to us.
It has been some time since I visited, and delighted to return. Treat yourself with a visit to the Coffee House, home of lovely food, drinks, and fantastic staff.
Some of the shops here were totally generic, but others were unique/genuine. It's small, and is in a popular area already, so it's totally worth passing through.
Historic Victorian shopping mall. Just lovely to walk through and taste the atmosphere. There are mostly local shops now and some food shops. Well worth it.
Victorian style red-bricked indoor market with quirky stalls - souvenir, hand craft, vintage, accessories. Small but interesting for a quick walk or coffee.
Delightful. Lovely wee arcade with variety of stalls and shops. Always something to catch your eye. Well worth a visit. Also beautiful jewelry shops nearby.
This place was a reminder that an old fasion building such as this can became a vivid marketplace full of surprises and interesting shops.
Small selection of small stores and booths, many were closed on a Sunday afternoon. Artists, hippie/vintage clothing, comic store, etc.
it's very fun, there's a great variety of little shops for all interests, including kpop, sanrio, music, movies, etc, as well as cafes
Beautiful old piece of history still being used. Some great shops with stuff you can't find anywhere else. Great experience everytime.
Nice place to browse around in and out of various small shops and kiosks with a various selection of products
Cute little market hall. The architecture is better than the shopping. But nice to walk through.
Love this place. Lots of interesting retailers and plenty of places to stop for a tasty bite.
