Me and my boyfriend go here often and most of the time it's exactly what I ask from a fast food place. Working in the service industry myself I wouldn't say I expect much: relatively quick and competent service. However I would say I just had the worst customer service I have EVER experienced ANYWHERE at this place. This was Monday (16th, around 8:40pm). It wasn't intentional to arrive that late, but they advertise being open til 9 and if she wasn't able to serve us we still would have accepted that. We waited several minutes for anyone to even show themselves. Despite the wait, I immediately smiled at the server. She gave (what I can only describe as) a death glare to both me and my boyfriend. Her tone was angry when she asked what we wanted and she was so hurried that when she constructed our order incorrectly we didn't have time to correct her before she had put it on the sandwich (after that we didn't want to complain because those ingredients would need to be thrown out). She demanded we pay before we were supposed to, which meant when I tried to add certain ingredients onto my sandwich I was told I wasn't allowed to because I had already paid and that would cost extra. The looks she gave us, the way she spoke to us, the incorrect/incomplete orders, the several minute wait ... other than the fact that she was hygienic, I genuinely don't think there could have been anything worse in her customer service skills. It seemed as though she was personally angry with us. I understand she may have been having a rough day. I understand we arrived 15-20 minutes before closing. But if that was such a problem, we should have been refused service, not treated the way we were. It was plain rude.

The weekend staff are unfamiliar with the menu and, with the door open, the shop was full of flies. We asked for a kid's meal, which consists of a small sub, drink and cookie. The staff didn't understand what it was (despite it being displayed on the glass food enclosure), and insisted that we needed to buy a 6" sub. Not wanting to make a big deal, we accepted her request, and asked for 'a little' mayo on the sub. She nodded and proceeded to put three large squirts on the sandwich. The bugs. I realise that the owners want to keep the door open, so passers-by don't think the place is closed, but doing so allows many flies and other insects into the store. There was even a dragonfly, which was sitting on a cookie inside the display case. Of course, once the flies are inside, there's no way to keep them off the food. While I do love nature, I'd prefer to keep insects off of my food, whenever possible. To sum it up: staff should be familiar with the menu, or at least listen to the customers who are repeatedly asking for a particular item. Staff should also listen to customers' responses (I'm seeing a trend here) and the door should be kept closed as much as possible.

The most terrible customer service with terrible food. I went to order one footlong teriyaki chicken subway for my son, and asked for adding all salads. The Asian lady added tiny little salads on it..so I decided to order one more salad bowl with juice. Then the customer service started to act crazy. She charged me $25.20,but only gave me a cookie with juice instead?? I told her why you gave me a cookie? I only want to add a salad bowl. And she advised me you should not order the salad bowl. If I want it, I must order at the first place. I was so shock for her answer. Firstly, the reason for me adding the salad bowl is the food quality is poor!! Secondly I ordered one more salad bowl is helping your business!! Finally I never heard that customers could not order more food in any subway. This is the first time I met such a rude customer service. She definitely needs to go back school to learn manner and math. I will never go back to the store. Poor food quality with poor customer service. I don't want to waste 1c on it anymore.

I cannot believe how rude the girl (that has been mentioned in previous reviews) was to me. Firstly did not acknowledge me for a number of minutes while i was waiting and the only person in the store (8:30 pm on tuesday night). Secondly did not have the options that i asked for on my sandwich making it with absolutely no care and it was extremely sloppy. Lastly she said i couldn't sit down and eat even though the store shut in 30 minutes obviously trying to rush me out of the door. I was extremely disappointed as i have previously had good service and sandwiches from this subway. However, this girl was some of the worst customer service i have ever experienced in my life.

Subway calls its employees Sandwich "Artists", but there is no art in the way sandwiches are made at Subway Gordon. The employee I have been ordering from last couple of months seems to be worried about setting up a world record of how fast she can finish preparing an order. Not even a smile to begin with. Sandwiches are taken out of the oven before they're fully toasted. Salads are literally thrown on the bread rather than being put on. Salads on the sandwich are too little and dressings a little too much. Very poor experience. I would rather drive 3km and order from Subway Lindfield than ordering here.

Super messy. I ordered a footling with chicken strips and found a piece of beef in my sandwich. I also didn’t ask for jalapeños and there was one in there too. It seemed as though the workers didn’t care what fell where. There were bits of cheese in every container and all the salads were mixed up. I am a big subway fan but this was thoroughly disappointing. I also came with my mate who is anaphylactic to dairy and wanted a subway, but because of the cheese everywhere, he didn’t get anything. Worst subway I’ve been to :)

I should have not paid for it - I was already cringing seeing that the girl seemed to be using the same gloves for handling the uncooked bacon and the lettuce that went on top. But the avocado...!!! I was wondering what that black soft thing was that she scooped and was about to spread on the bun - black avocado. I should have stopped her and asked her to start again - but she did look like she was momentarily hesitating. I am sorry but I think I need to warn others. I think I am particularly upset because on the poster outside it said “would you like freshness with that” or something.

girl was extremely rude, went in on tuesday 6/4 at 8:30 and she rolled her eyes at everything i asked for spoke in rude tone and acted like everything i asked her was such an effort. i don’t know why she isn’t fired tbh seems like all reviews are about her not my issue tho i juts know i will never go back there ever again. she used her hands to smear avo on my sandwich which was really weird then gave me like 1 capsicum when i asked, I remained polite but she did not match my energy. if i could give this place negitive stars i would, they should consider firing her lmoa

Just visited the Subway Gordon 10 min ago and I am SO UPSET with the customer service! Don’t know her name but the small Asian girl has no sense of customer service AT ALL!! Being so rude throughout the ordering process, and sighing when I couldn’t understand her because of the face mask. She seemed so effortless in treating a customer. I totally lost my appetite because of her manners and would NEVER visit SUBWAY GORDON AGAIN. I don’t understand why the owner has no feedback on the customer service when there are so many reviews on the same issue.

Same encounter with this particular girl that another customer mention. Clearly stated I wanted a wrap but she gave me a bun. Have to tell her twice I wanted wrap for her to change it. Went there again the following month and she was there taking my order again. Inform her I wanted a BBQ bacon & egg and pointed the breakfast set on the board to be very clear. She told me BBQ is a sauce. I again pointed at the board written clearly BBQ bacon & egg. Again she keep telling me BBQ is a sauce. I almost fainted and drop death

On arrival to my local subway it was brought to my attention that some of your condiments and ingredients have been withdrawn from your menu. This caused me deep disappointment as I was forced substitute old English cheese and thousand island sauce with inferior items. Although I am aware that this is not the stores fault, I would greatly appreciate it if you could urgently add these items back to the menu. P.S sun dried tomatoes were a nice touch, keep doing more of the good stuff!

EDIT: I went to the venue after not receiving proper amount of food, and the guy there was SUPER friendly! He gave me the missing items, and told me that he put it in the bag, and verified it with me. Obviously the Uber Driver stole the food and lied saying that the food wasn't there. Big shoutout to the young guy working the evening shift at 23/05/22.

Overweight asian lady there has disgusting ignorance and needs to be fired immediately. Ignored me for a solid 3 minutes when i came into the store so i ignored her back for a few seconds when she asked what I wanted and she got pissed. FIRE HER.

If you see the asian lady making the sub, walk out and don't waste your money. It was just bread on both ends and when I pointed it out she just gave me an annoyed look then pushed some of the filling from the middle towards the side. I might as well have asked for no salad or sauce with the amount she put in it.

Placed an order through uber eats for a chicken and bacon ranch footlong. It arrived nice & quick no issues with uber eats but subway did not put any chicken or bacon on my sub. I tried calling and no answer. Terrible service. Update: I went in store and they made me a new sub, very apologetic. Still not happy but appreciate the apology and fresh sub.

Worst experience ever. Asian decent girl who identified herself as Salami when I got her name for a complaint. Treated us so terribly and was so rude because we didn’t know what we wanted. Refused to speak up as we couldn’t hear her. Refused to give us contact details for her management. Visit date was 5/10/21 at about 7 pm

Very poor customer service. No greeting on arrival. Very dry and direct responses to questions I had about the menu. I decided to cancel my order because of how she argued with me that the tiny amount of mozzarella she put on was enough... Why argue? Just put a little more on.

ordered a chipote quesadilla. Loaded dripping with mayo. Absolutely made with no common sense and absolute don't care skill. I always buy chipote quesadilla from every single subway. This was the worst ever. Normally people don t drink half a bottle of mayo with quesadilla

i ordered uber eats from subway gordon and half of my food didnt come. when we called, they said that they put all of our food in the bag and were being rude about it. the girl worker who was working at 7:30pm on saturday 8th of august is terrible with costumers. thanks :)

Poor service overall. The Asian lady has an attitude that she hates the place and her sandwich making is reflective of that. If you order a footling prepare to have 3 inches on both ends with nothing on it. Asking for salads was like she can't afford salad! What a joke

Ordered from ubereats to get subway for overtime shift. Ordered with cheese, lettuces and carrots but comes only with the meat and the bread. The only good thing about the order is that cookies were fresh and recently baked. Really disappointed with the subway

beautiful cute Asian girl was too busy, she was alone handling store in busy hours, she didn't assist me well, skipped salads I requested, Management needs to schedule more staff in morning peak hours as well. Not her fault. :(
