I ordered blackbean beef and rice and 4 prawn spring rolls and fried wontons from this restaurant through Dashdoor. I had waited over one hour and decided to ring Sunbury Dumplings aka as Wok the Wok on Doordash Asking them why my food is not ready to give to the doordash driver. I was informed by the restaurant that they got my order wrong and that my food would not be too much longer. The Dashdoor driver also confirmed this with me Over one and a half hours or more I finally got my food It was nearly cold My spring rolls and fried wontons were dried out and hard and cold. And my food did not like it did in the photos they have up. And really not a fair quantity or quality Of food that you expect for paying 41 dollars for. My daughter took the food back to the restaurant asked for a refund for me as I have a disability with a limp The restaurant responsibility and one of the employees was so rude basically telling my daughter what would she know as she looks like she just came out of high school, my daughter is a retail manager so She knows about customer service and complaints. This employee was more than happy to put accountability on Doordash than to do the right thing by the customer. This was not the drivers fault or DoorDashes fault. My daughter left the food on the bench at the restaurant and walked outside She called Doordash explained the situation and they are doing everything to sort this out . I will be getting a refund of some type in the next week. The health department was also contacted. Ended up getting really quality and good food for 40 dollars and enough to feed 4 people from Noodle Haven. The food is fresh and cooked I front of you , the staff are polite and friendly and you get value for the money you pay. I give Noodle Haven a 100 review

We have been regular patrons of Sunbury Dumplings pretty much since it opened 3 years ago. It serves beautiful Chinese cuisine (mainly from Northern China) and the serves are very generous. The reason for my review, however, is to mention the brilliant service we always receive. As a family, we are usually there on Wednesdays and Sundays for dinner and there is never a time when Fong ( the owner’s wife) and her daughter Phoebe don’t go above and beyond to treat us like their own family. This has been exemplified these last few days since they found out my husband and I have tested positive to COVID. They have insisted on cooking special foods for us to aid our recovery and have adamantly refused to take any payment. This is a small family business and we know they are doing it tough, which is such a shame as their food is so good and such great value for money. There are so many food outlets in Sunbury, so residents have many great choices but I just want to put in my plug for this great little Sunbury Dumpling business. If you like Asian food, I do urge you to give it a try.

The whole family was pretty excited to come try out this new dumpling place which sounds very promising. So we came for dinner on a Sunday night around 7.30pm. It was not too crowded and we were served really quickly. The decor was lovely and cozy and I especially love the lanterns. The chairs were comfortable too. Service was great and as we were hungry so we ordered a variety of food. Pan fried dumplings, xiao long bao, dumplings in chicken broth and hokkien noodles. We were very impressed with the quality of the dumplings! It is fresh and sumptuous and lived up to the reviews I’ve read about the place. However, the Hokkien noodles were disappointing, hence the 3 stars given. Perhaps I shouldn’t have come to a dumpling place and ordered a non dumpling place. But I was abit put off. The Hokkien noodles were too salty and lacks flavour. There weren’t much else in the noodle too, just some cabbage bits, tiny meat pieces and some mini shrimps. I left the restaurant abit sick with the taste of the noodles at the back of my throat. Hopefully these dishes improve with time but as a lesson learnt I don’t think I will order another non dumpling dish in this restaurant again. But we will definitely be back for more dumplings though as they are truly and I should say probably the best in Sunbury and surrounds.

tried a takeaway, simple order of Satay sticks, vege and chicken prawn spring rolls and a noodle and prawn wonton soup in chicken broth. l love trying new places. Great for Sunbury's increasing population. As l waited for my order, l saw a waiter just, basically plopping down food on the tables of waiting customers. Not even placed in front of person. Sort that out yourself. There seemed to be a party going on in the kitchen!! Lots of loud yelling and laughter....very distracting. Now, the food. What a huge disappointment. The tiniest spring rolls l have ever seen. Third of the size of Rice Scoop. $6.50 for four...Satay sticks were tasty, but sitting in an oil slick.. Usually save best till last. Wontons were absolutely tasteless and chewy. The noodles, what can l say.....they appear to have been in the plastic container for a long time. l would say frozen. They were in a solid block, absolutely gluggy and hard, with wontons and apiece of boc chow on top. this is the worst takeaway dish l have ever had. Soup ended up in bin... so disappointing, for what l thought was going to be another great asset in Sunbury......off the list !!!

Unfortunately 1 persons order was forgotten about, even though we were told it was on its way. They only realised thier mistake AFTER everyone at the table had finished thier food. So we had to wait another 15mins, after everyone was finished, before the last person could start eating thier food. (No offered compensation for forgotten item on the bill either) Service standard was minimal, even during Covid restrictions (where they could only dine max 10ppl). Booked table for 6, few days in advance, and double checked on the day of reservation, only for the table to not be prepared on arrival. They had to rearrange tables to fit us. The Chinese broccoli was good, as was the noodle dishes. Xiao long bao was average. They don't bring the dishes out all together, just whenever they're ready. So sadly, some guests eat, while some still wait. Xiao Long bao took the longest. Would probably opt for a takeaway again as they're not badly priced and decent dish size, but personally would not dine in again.

Ordered on menu log restaurant got entire order wrong to the point where they even said we don’t sell chicken skewers no more so we didn’t put them in but I got charged there was 3 full items missing we asked for no chilli but it was pumped with chilli we then called to ask where the rest of the order was the staff argued and said we will pick up the food but we are not replacing it and not refunding it . They said it’s menu logs place to fix these thing mind you we waited 90 mins for the order to arrive . They picked up the food and still havnt been paid back my money they are so rude food was so cold and stale do not eat here is my advice

Ordered through door dash the black pepper beef fillet and rice . The meat was disgusting . Every piece was chewy and hard and the outside was like slimey. Couldn’t eat the meat at all . I tried to chew it and it made me want to vomit . Never had meat like this before in my life from an Asian shop. Called them to politely ask them if it was ment to be chewy and she said yes and I was shocked and nicely let her know it’s awful and I can’t eat it and she rushed off the phone and didn’t care . It was like eating the fatty chewy bit of meat . They really need to change the meat they use

I ordered satay chicken skewers and Dumplings in Laksa, I received chicken in batter with some satay drizzled over it but it was mostly just oily batter without chicken on it and the satay had no flavor at all. I returned it and let them know it wasnt nice when they delivered the next food. I then got cold dumplings in a very bland laksa soup with some uncooked udon noodles in it. Just terrible food... I went and grabbed a pie to eat for lunch. Will not go back highly recommend avoiding

Just visited for the first time. We shared a plate of steamed chicken and prawn dumplings (absolutely delicious flavour, some dumplings could have done with a bit more filling) and a bowl of chicken and chinese cabbage dumplings (very tasty dumplings and broth, not very spicy). For $27.40 I think the value is pretty reasonable given the quality. Each table is well set out with everything you might need including water, glasses, bowls, condiment mixing bowl, vinegar, soy sauce, chili oil, serviettes, and a large assortment of cutlery. We'll definitely be coming back again soon.

Walked into restaurant more or less pushed to a table by grumpy women, first impression ,second impression, Table and water jug was filthy We ordered special fried rice which had hardly any veg in it.only overcooked rice uneatable,next Fried chicken (I think) wontons so over cooked , we coulnt chew! My wonton noodle chicken soup was so tasteless I had to pour soya sauce in it,,we complained,manager asked if we didn't want to pay for wontons we didn't understand and landed up paying for worse meal we ever had in sunbury Wake up dumplings yuk

Ordered through menulog 2 hours ago, still waiting and they won’t answer the phone. If you’d like dumplings don’t order them from here. UPDATE: If your restaurant is too busy you should not accept orders through Menulog. To accept our order and have us wait 2 hours for food that you are not capable of producing is unacceptably bad service. You made us wait 2 hours with no intention of holding up your side of the transaction, and after waiting that time we were unable to order anything else which really ruined our evening. Very disappointing.

Very tasty dumplings and sweet and sour chicken. The egg fried rice was delicious. The restaurant was clean and the food came quickly. Was well priced and we’d go back again.

We ordered a large amount of food that included a $70.90 Peking duck I ordered this at 5.40 pm I got a txt from Menulog at 7.16 that said that perking duck is not available after my order had been taken as well as my $160.80 out of my bank it arrives at 7.30 with no duck I rang dumplings Sunbury and the lady one the phone was so rude told me I ordered to late.. they open at 5 I ordered at 5.40 not going back customer service was horrible

Ordered some fried and steamed dumplings spring rolls. Very very high quality and fresh! Can honestly say they were the best dumplings I’ve eaten. Brought out very quickly too. I went during the day/off peak time and had a great experience at this restaurant.

That has to be the most disappointing meal I have had in Sunbury. Vegetarian spring rolls had little to no filling. Pork chive noodle laksa tasted extremely watered down and bland. Id rather drive 45min to flemington to go to laksa king then eat that. The dumplings in the soup were ok. But basically not worth it and won't be back to try again.

Pretty nice dumpling place that offer other dishes as well. Very clean restaurant and friendly service. Modern Asian decor. I tried a verity of dumplings, small serve of spring rolls and a special fried noodles with chicken. All were delicious. Quite atmosphere and would recommend. We ordered a couple of different dishes to start and ordered more as we when’t along, nice way to have lunch.

Great value. We order a roast duck (best duck in town! save me trips to boxhill) and the steamed juicy Bao, specialty and signature dish. Truly authentic and a rare find this side of town. Yummy! Spring roll a little small, spoke to owner about it and they said they will take it on board and always looking to improve it! Great addition to Sunbury restaurant scene! Welcome more.

We were looking for a quick easy meal. The food was delicious, and it came out faster than some of the crazy queues of some the local Sunbury drive through establishments! Totally recommend the satay chicken and spring rolls for Entre, and I had the Chicken Prawn dumplings in broth. Excellent!

Being of Chinese heritage I can assure you this restaurant is brilliant. Being Sunbury born and bred, it’s so nice having Sunbury Dumplings on our doorstep. The food is always so fresh and the portion sizes are very good value for money. The service is also always first class. We are regulars and always look forward to our next visit, either for lunch or dinner.

Stopped in for some Dumplings on my way to the airport. Very friendly staff. And dumplings so good you could taste the hand made love put into them. I will be back on my next visit to Victoria.

Waited 25 minutes after menulogs estimated pick up time. Food was waiting on counter for at least 15 mins for last item. Wrong dumlpings received 16 pork and prawn not 7 pork and cabbage. (Someone else wont be happy) spring onion pancake cold, swimming in oil and tough. Spring rolls were barely warm. 1st attempt at this dumpling house definitely the last.

We went to the place excited to eat. When we ordered I accidentally said to the waitress before she was done "see ya" in a passive aggressive way. When we got our food, she gave me (a vegetarian) the meet dumplings that my friend ordered. I ate said dumplings without noticing. I then realised and spatt them out. We left and don't play on coming back.

Ordered a wonton noodle soup and the broth was noodle water with salt and soggy noodles dumped in it. It had no flavour and was inedible. I informed the lady at the counter and her only response was “I’ll let the chef know” and quickly proceeded to charge me full price for a meal I barely touched. Very disappointing.

I've now been here twice, phone ordered take away. Service was fantastic both times, especially tonight. One of the men that work there went and opened the door for me as I was leaving. Being heavily pregnant and carrying my 2yo, I haven't had that kind of service in sunbury before. The food is amazing and definitely satisfies my dumpling cravings.

Was told 15-20 minutes, waited over 40 minutes because they had no fried rice. Sat there watching the rest of my order go cold and then received my order without even an apology. Average food, terrible service, and overpriced. Only gave them a 2nd chance because the Chinese restaurant was closed. Won't make that mistake again.

Nice, friendly service, clean place however in Sichuan beef, cut in cubes, there were hard, chewy bits, impossible to eat. Almost whole dish was not edible, left, 3$ were offered to be discounted, not good enough, given that food was not eaten. We did not accepted this poor offer, paid full amount and decided not to be back.

Ordered through Uber eats my wonton noodle soup arrived without the soup just the plain wontons and noodles. Make it worse only 8 out of 15 pieces were in the container. Not happy.

First time ordering from Sunbury dumplings but will definitely be going back.The pork and cabbage dumplings plus the spring rolls were excellent and my husband had beef/onion/cabbage dumplings with chilli oil broth and tempura prawns- he loved it !! Everything tasted fresh and full of flavour.

They obviously aren't sure what's on their own menu. Called up and no offer to replace just that they will let the chef know. Usually love the Mapo tofu, unfortunately this time I got a bunch of tofu in plain soup. No chilli or pork mince

Very tasty dumplings！！Authentic Asian cuisine. Customer services are excellent! I’ve tried chicken & prawn steam dumpling, pork& chives fried dumplings and dumplings in hot& sour soup. All of these are so yummy. I’d love to visit again. Definitely 5-star rating.

The servings are quite big which explains why it looks more on the expensive side. Everything tasted really really lovely except the special fried rice there was no flavour. Just won’t order that again but everything is lovely :)
