"This is a very nice Chinese bakery"
"Their baos are individually wrapped, their selection of baos are great, their signature pork sung bao is a must try, had green onions and a bit of mayo but its delicious and moist"
"Let me be clear - I do NOT like cake"
"Have to admit - it's a good bakery with lots of choices"
the services are wearing their finger with gloves hold the broom, trash bins and bills with coins. they stay with their old gloves that's very dirty...and touch on the bakers etc., but not take off gloves and not throw them. there have more lots of gloves that it's change old to new fresh...
This is a very nice Chinese bakery. I come here to get my sweet white loaf bread for sandwiches. They also have a decent selection of Cantonese style bread. While other Chinese bakeries like 86 degrees is still nicer with better selection, this bakery is in the city and accessible easily.
Their baos are individually wrapped, their selection of baos are great, their signature pork sung bao is a must try, had green onions and a bit of mayo but its delicious and moist. Don't forget to try their Portuguese dan tat, its better than GG bakery dan tat... forreals
Let me be clear - I do NOT like cake. It’s just not my thing. But the green tea mousse cake from Wheat Field is on another level. It’s pretty much one of the few cakes I will tolerate. The green tea flavor penetrates the mousse so well, and it’s light and fluffy.
Have to admit - it's a good bakery with lots of choices. However, besides the poor customer service as many have mentioned here, hygiene is a horrible issue. If you pay close attention, you will see the paper tray liners being recycled from
When they say they close at 7pm, they actually close the door at 6:00pm and start mopping the floors and putting the bakery away. When you open the door during that time, they say, come and buy. THERE IS NOTHING LEFT FOR ME TO BUY. This is
Service of the cashier are very rude. I purchased 6 buns and a small box of cake. My friend he purchased 6 buns and he can get a box to carry it out. So I asked the cashier why he can get a box and I can't. All she said .50 cents for a box
Born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, Sheng Kee was the bakery that reminded me home. The smell of fresh baked and toasted goods came out in the morning and afternoon. Where does Fancy Wheat Field Bakery come from??? This is way better than
Employees are very rude ‘ you asked questions about more bread and they said no more and 5 minutes later they brought it out, why they don’t say wait a little bit, look like you are not worthy of talking to you, and I saw one of the other
I got the 8" fruit cake, everyone loves it! They even gave candles for the cake. The only complaint is for some reason they put the happy birthday sign on the side of the box, so when I took it out, the sign was little mess up.
Mom came here for my birthday cake. Fresh mangos, sturdy box, provided plates that said “Happy Birthday” in Chinese as well as forks and a cake cutting knife. Not too many places that still invest in these extra amenities.
Amazingly delicious cakes and desserts, my new favorite bakery. Going this weekend for my birthday cake, lots of fresh fruit on top. My 5 year old likes the blue berry cup and greenonion bagel? With sliced
It's a small but very clean bakery. A great variety of pastries. Prices are reasonable. Milk tea is creamy and has good aroma. My favorite pastry is the Pork sung roll. Staff is friendly and helpful.
They have a self served Chinese buns and sweets, savory like barbeque pork buns, ham and green onion buns and sweet ones like coconut or custard buns. Stuff is not really friendly or helpful though.
Small place most of pastries etc.. are good..metered parking can be busy finding space. Also they accept only cash only..similar to few items at Sheng Kee and 85 degrees..several dufferent ones
In my recent visit here definitely noticed improvement in quality of some of the baked goods. Though this comes with marginal price increase definitely worth it for improved quality.
Unfriendly careless staff attitudes make you wonder if they even care for handling their products' sanitation at all to your safety? I doubt it so badly... More
Great delicious pastries and cakes. However found multiple pieces of plastic in our cake. I can't imagine the harm or danger this would have caused on kids.
Great variety and good prices. I like the egg tarts, chocolate cake bites, and some kind of simple cake loaf they have (don't remember the name).
Pretty good deals. Especially the pineapple buns were only 65 cents before but sometime in June the price was marked up to 75 cents.
I see a lot of reviews saying the staff are rude but they were beyond nice and helpful to me. Their bread is delicious and fresh
Portuguese Egg Tart is good. However, it is quite sweet and on the smaller side. At $1.80 each, it is a bit expensive.
Their pastry is fresh and service is great! It's a very small place and it gets crowded. Prices are reasonable.
Decent bbq pork bun. Egg tart and pineapple bun are only ok. The egg tart crust is like a pastry crust
My favorite bakery to get cake. Fresh and not too sweet. Mango cakes are most people’s favorite …
Their Hong Kong style pineapple bun is the best in town, but other breads or cakes are not so good.
Not my cup of tea, but I am giving the review for my family who really liked this place
Good choices of pastries. Also cakes are delicious but a little pricey.
Good choices and freshly made pastries. Never disappointed.
