This will be a fantastic site once it is completed. It is clearly not ready for prime time but the cleanup and restoration have transformed this former wasteland into a bayside destination. Once all the elements (pathways and boardwalk) are installed this will be a great spot to enjoy the varied flora and fauna of Jamaica Bay.

Volunteered few times at salt marsh planting here. Scenic views. Uncultured beaches <3 Bushes. Baseball courts. Temporary restrooms. No water source. Garbage bins. Few shady trees. Parking. Bus stop few blocks away. Train stop slightly further away but still within walkable distance.

Beautiful place to be, and a big space for parking and perfect for driving practice, today was really foggy but that made it look better.

Great place to see the sunset and if there's a solar eclipse that would be great too but be ready for the bugs at least in the summer.
