Fast and nice service, tasty and fresh noodles, good pork belly, but no vegetables, bland and salty broth, and overpriced compared to what you could get across the street. I ordered the udon noodle soup with pork. My noodles were made right in front of me, and tasted great. Contrary to past reviews, the place was perfectly clean and both the smell and taste of the food were fine. It was below my expectations given the price and speed of which the food was ready. The total ($14 before tax) was too expensive for what I got - soup with noodles and pork belly, barely any garnishes and no vegetables. The broth was too salty and quite bland. On the other hand, the pork was tasty. The staff were very friendly, which was a good bonus. I hope they can get the past reviews of the place deleted, as I imagine it was under a different owner at the time, and from a first impression it does not deserve one star reviews. Overall, it was ok, and if I was in a rush I would certainly go, but cannot say I would order noodles there again when there are alternatives that are less expensive with larger and better portions.

The worst Asian food experience in my life. 1 star only for restaurant owners smile and good mood. The food was tasteless, over-over-priced for the quantity and quality. We ordered bento and ramen, both as awful as I could ever imagine as an Asian… In the bento, we had a small gyoza and a small spring roll, 4 tasteless sushi, a portion of rice with 6 little pieces of meat…il looks so pitiful. Speaking of the ramen… noodle was freshly made by the restaurant owner but the broth tasted like salty water. I left this serious review with no intention to destroy the restaurant. Just hope to share my own experience for tourists or locals who just want to have a good time, and for the restaurant owner to make some real improvements to survive the upcoming recession.

Had the chicken ramen and it was the best ramen I have had in all of Ottawa. It even beats the restaurants in China town that should say something. Very kind owner and the food came relatively in good time. There could have been more chicken added to the meal but that’s just me and I’m sure you could order some extras if need be. Overall pleasantly warm experience.

Best ramen we've ever had. Convinced my husband to stop in Byward Market because the noodles were being made fresh. The food did not disappoint! Family who runs the restaurant were very friendly and willing to let me take pictures while they worked. We live in the US and would honestly drive to get these noodles again!

Clean and friendly place. I ordered a chicken ramen. Noodles were freshly made in front of me and they were delicious. The broth was great. Not too salty and flavourful, they even gave us homemade chilli oil. Overall great place, perfect for a snowy day

This was first time experience for chicken ramen soup. Ramen prepared fresh and it was delicious with soup. Meat was juicy and their hot sauce kept at front desk is game changer. It give real spice kick. Owners are humble..

$25 for 16 maki rolls (spicy salmon and crab) and an iced tea. Wish I could say good things about the food, but I, unfortunately, cannot. The service was amazing though.
