Food was ok. Let down by the young lad behind the bar serving, who was pretty rude and cold. Very inhospitable. Even the girl was not very welcoming. Both need some customer service training. No smile from either of them, just a flat experience. For gods sake its not that hard (but apparantly was for them)... ************* By the way i rang the number you gave on Tuesday 04/07/2023 in the morning, and the lady who said she was the 'manager' on shift was'nt really interested when i rang up to explain about the service issue i recieved. And no offer of any resolution. I don't think she was really bothered and seemed uninterested. Stay clear of this place. Better to spend your hard earned money elsewhere. Lovely pub with a great atmosphere. Staff always so friendly especially Charlie, Kate & Katie their always greet you with a smile and ready to serve you with a smile. Lovely to see as you don't get this service in all the local bars. I've only ordered food a few times but the times I have its always been very nice so no complaints there. Definitely one of my favourite pubs in the hornchurch area.

Great atmosphere, with an amazing vibe and delicious food. Brandon (one of the main staff) was also very kind and provided a great service to me and my friends. Definitely a place to come back to! 20/10/2023- Came back again with my friends, once again has me very impressed. Brandon as always was great staff and this has definitely become a place I can rely on for good food, good company and great drinks!

The atmosphere of this place is great - but the service is terrible. The bar staff don’t look to see who has been at the bar longest and just serve who is in front of them and their aperol spritz tastes just like orange flavoured water. They are also really rude when you use the app and go up 30 mins later to ask is the order has been recieved. All in all not a great pub

Had a great time with my friends on Saturday night, good music, good cocktails, average prices for the area. Only 1 star knocked off as we wanted to order bottles of spirits for our table, and the bar staff said they didn't sell them - it's a reoccurring theme, as every time I go there I have the same conversation that they do, they speak to a manager and then it gets sorted. The staff are always polite as well, so it is a minor issue.

On a recent visit, we decided to stop off at The Sutton Arms. We'll definitely return again as the atmosphere and food here is fantastic. Would like to say a massive thankyou to Abbie who served us as she was really friendly and seemed to go out of her way to make our evening even more enjoyable. A great night had by all. Wife's food was cold, my pie was burnt to a crisp outside, and pie inside was cold and not cooked . Manager said it was tested before serving. I don't know how because I couldn't even cut the pastry with my knife. Gave us full refund for a wasted hour and still did not eat anything.
