I had a great experience here. My extended family lives in Sweden you see, and it can be quite a hassle to get goods past customs (if you know what I mean). I was quite glad they were able to help out. We got invited to dinner as honoured guests to celebrate our achievements. By Thor did we make our ancestors proud!!!!! Joy and laughter from food and drink filled the room, as if it were Valhalla, the Land of Stars. Never in my life have I felt hospitality equivalent to the afterlife. Picture Midsommar, but more tongue and cheek. These peculiar boisterous folk tap into rage to refocus their raw emotions. Unbeknownst to the public they sit here just straight chilling. Odin surely, looks down upon them with gentle eyes. Cannot recommend them enough. Even just to pop in and say hi! (or party).

Great experience coordinating with Leah here. She was prompt, professional, and very helpful. I corresponded with her via email and got my passport on time and without much hassle. They're pretty responsive via email and phone and I had no trouble connecting with the consulate when I needed to.

Not the best place for an expat to get anything Seldom returns phone calls or answers the phone. Or emails for that matter. Not sure what help a Swedish consulate is if you as a Swede can't ever get through.
