First let me say that I am a super fan of Dr. Loehr and have followed him from one location to another. I would recommend him to anyone and I have always trusted him with the health of my teeth. Unfortunately, what I experienced yesterday has left me frustrated, upset, and quite frankly, shocked. Not knowing my hygienist had retired, I had a new hygienist and who was very nice. There had been a plan put in place by my previous hygienist and Dr. Loehr and a price quoted. When I arrived I was informed that only one section would have the periodontal cleaning instead of the full mouth (which had been done before). After the cleaning, I was told that the price I was given previously was only for half, from there things just spiraled down. I was given another procedure that was not covered by insurance but wasn't told until after. When discussing all of this with my new hygienist she informed me that if I don't do the periodontal cleanings when told to, they will no longer carry me as a patient. That's when my brain just shut down. I was visibly upset and crying and yet nobody cared. I now have half a mouth deep cleaned and the other half not and now have to wait months to save up again for what I was initially told would be done. I'm terrified to go back now because of the fear that at any visit I can be told I'm no longer a patient. I really hate all of this because I love this dentist and love how much he cares for his patients, if only others in the office did.

First issue: Although I made my appt. for a specific dentist, I was not notified that he would be absent (planned) nor given the opportunity to reschedule when he returned. Second issue: Although I was first patient to check-in for first appt.for routine cleaning and checkup, there was a long wait after cleaning and X-rays were done by a hygienist (who was careful and gentle). When dentist finally came in to see me, she was in a rush and did not perform an exam or review X-rays. She asked about dental problems and after a quick discussion about one of my ongoing issues without an opportunity to explain my pertinent dental history, she rushed out and said that she would prepare a dental plan. After a long wait, I had to seek out the hygienist to check on reason for further delay. I was then moved to waiting room and told that I would be brought back to exam room to speak again with dentist when dental plan was completed. After a further wait in the waiting room, office staff informed me that a computer problem was interfering with completion of plan, and that it would be emailed. I was checked out without completion of dental checkup or report on results of X-rays..

I used to go to this place and it was great, since the dentist has changed and was a different experience. I had my amalgam fillings removed incorrectly and any dentist worth their salt knows its dangerous to remove them without proper equipment. I had to request them to use a dental dam and even then they seemed reluctant. The "doctor" as she wanted to be called seemed to ignore the fact I told her I had a fast drug metabolism and required faster work and or more numbing meds before doing work. Instead she had me waiting an hour in the chair with my mouth numb and acted surprised when she finally arrived and decided to drill my tooth, that I nearly jumped out of my chair. She actually seemed frustrated. The only reason I didnt do one star is because the receptionist was an absolutely wonderful person and very helpful. The old business was much better. I also have to say I went their about a year ago, maybe things have changed since, but my last experience was poor.

Everyone wants to be able to say "I like my dentist?" And the answer to "why" probably centers around 1) professionalism of the personnel and environment, 2) competence, 3) personal likability and always 4) cost. I had to find a new dentist that takes Delta Insurance and didn't know where to start except by using Yelp and Google reviews. That's how I found Dr. Brendan Loehr at Swish Dental on 2222 near where I live. I had my first appointment yesterday to treat a new cavity next to a crown. I was thoroughly pleased with my experience as Dr. Loehr and his team were all of those things I cited above. Having grown up in the 50s and 60s when dental work was loathed and feared in rural Iowa, seeing any dentist for me always includes some anxiety. Dr. Loehr made my first visit a piece of cake. I have a follow up appointment scheduled and expect Dr. Loehr to be my dentist for years to come. If you're looking for a dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Loehr

I DEFINITELY will recommend to anyone, particularly those who have anxiety going to the dentist. The entire practice is knowledgeable, caring & friendly. This practice takes the time to go over both the good things, improvements and consideration for the health of my teeth & gums. They also utilize awesome dental technology, which makes such a difference regarding comfort. I got to see a 3-D map of my own mouth (super cool), which helped me to understand the health of my mouth. Every step taken down from the cleaning, billing, to more complex procedures were explained & there were no surprises. I am also happy that they have taken precautions to ensure they (entire staff) and you are also safe during your visit during this current pandemic. Very easy to make an appt, and you don't have to wait long to schedule/ get into the office. The level of care is EXCEPTIONAL & I am glad to have found this practice/provider for my dentistry needs.

After working in the dental field for several years - I am VERY particular about who touches my teeth. I also normally stay away from the larger dental companies with multiple locations because they usually have the “corporate” feel and push crazy treatment plans - but Swish Dental is so far from that! Dr.Brendan Loehr is seriously THE BEST!! All of his recommendations are legit. He gives you realistic time frames and expectations for what you need done and by when. Dental work isn’t cheap and most dentist want you to shovel out $$$ to get dental work done ASAP or they say your teeth will fall out (haha, but seriously) but you won’t find that at Swish. Dr.Loehr will only recommend treatment when it’s truly needed and he also does fantastic cosmetic work!! :) I wouldn’t send my friends or family anywhere else! I have been going to Swish Dental (formerly Britex) for several years now. I have to say that the services of Dr. Brendan Lohr are exemplary. Dr. Lohr and his team (Stephanie, Bonnie and many others) are just amazing. From the cleanliness of the office, to how well appointments are setup, to working within the complexities of insurance, and most importantly, Dr. Lohr himself who is a FANTASTIC dentist. Super competent, explains everything, efficient, gets it done right every time. I am not being paid to do this review. This is my 100% my opinion as a PATIENT. I’ve been going to this office for 7 years, prior to it becoming Swish. I continued going when it became Swish to avoid the hassle of changing and have had a good experience until today. I’m giving it one star for the prior good experiences, and one star for the painful, aggressive experience I had today. The person cleaning my teeth stabbed my gums many many times. She was insensitive to the sensitivity that I made her aware of and decided to use the electric pick, which was extremely painful. She also proceeded to floss my teeth after I pulled away several times in pain, pressing down way too hard. I have a high pain tolerance, have never had any major mouth issues, and have never been so uncomfortable at the dentist.

Before going to Swish Dental I was an admitted scaredy cat when it came to dentists. No longer! Initially coming for a cleaning I have since had major work to correct years of wear on my teeth from grinding. My new crowns are absolutely beautiful and guarantee an amazing smile for the rest of my life. The team at Swish dental are the best! A very big thank you to Dr. Brendon Loehr, Stephanie, Jeanette and the rest!! Update: The team at Swish Dental continue to impress! This time they made an appt for me on a day they normally never have appointments, all so I could pick up my night guard. Who does that?! Britex Dental is fantastic. Somehow I cracked a tooth over the weekend and was in serious pain. I called first thing Monday and they fortunately were able to see me that day and diagnose my problem. On Tuesday I was back and Dr Brendan Loehr prepped my tooth for a permanent crown and gave me temporary one. This was the first time I had to have a crown and I was nervous, but the procedure was fast and painless. I left very pleased with the service and quality of care. I was able to go back to work that day with no issues. If Google had a 10 star option I would gladly give Britex Dental my highest review. I highly recommend Britex Dental to anyone looking for a dentist.

I've been going for a couple years. Initially I went because it was right next to my employer at the time, but even as I moved to a different job I still come to this location. I always feel welcomed and care for, and the place is super clean and nice. I appreciate that a majority of my comms with the office can be over text message for appointment coordination as I'm usually in meetings for work during the day. Additionally, I'm a pretty anxious person, and they help me feel more at ease. I love the tech they also have. I recently had to wait longer than expected for a cleaning, and I was comp'ed for a teeth whitening and fluoride. Will be back!

I thought when Dr. STOKLEY left the practice, I would not ever be comfortable again. Although, I miss her and her girls, Dr. LOEHR and his staff are wonderful and you are never just a number, you are family. A few years ago when a dentist from another establishment broke my jaw and took no mind to my physical and mental capacity resulting in PTSD and a fear of any dental work, Dr. LOEHR and his staff has done everything to make my dental experience painless and comfortable before and after procedures. With that being said, if anyone is seeking kindness, gentleness, and perfection, my referral regarding Britex is my testimony to my Christianity.

Not sure why there are so many good reviews. This review is under my mother’s account for my own privacy. I have never left a bad review but this is ridiculous. I received a $96 bill when I was in and out in less than five minutes with no help. They told me I needed a procedure done, and when I went to another dentist for a second opinion, they said it was completely unnecessary. Absolutely absurd. In addition I was treated so unprofessionally and they were trying to hurry me out the second I walked through the door- maybe don’t schedule someone when you are at the end of your shift next time. Will not be back.

I have been coming here since around 2015-ish (I think?). I moved down south and tried a place closer to my office. After the $2000+ in dental work they said I needed, I came back to Swish and Dr. Loehr with my tail tucked and the most dental anxiety I have ever felt. After a through cleaning this morning Dr. Loehr assured me that my teeth are fine and I actually didn't need any work! Heck!? I am sorry that I went anywhere else and I will make the drive because having someone I can trust is 100% worth it. Thank you guys for being transparent and honest, I appreciate it more than you know!

I had a really good first experience here. The staff and Dr. Loehr were all really friendly, easy to talk to and just made you feel comfortable. The office feels new, clean and fresh which is always nice. Relaxing is the word! He really took the time with me on my first visit to listen to all my banter about past teeth issues and what not. They also made me feel good about my smile and tooth care or whatever you call that! My lifelong dentist retired so I’m glad I found a new one that I’m confident I’ll be with a long time. If you live in this area, like I do, this is a fabulous dentist!

Great Service from the whole staff. I received a general checkup, x-rays, and a cleaning. Haylee performed a quick checkup and performed the scan acquisition of my teeth, with care and explained every step she was doing. Violeta, the hygienist went through my gum check and cleaning with ease and it was not uncomfortable, she also gave complete explanation of the process. Dr Jason seems very knowledgeable, methodical, and caring. He went through my results and gave his professional opinion on every detail in my denture and available options.

I cant recommend them enough! Every time I've visited they have gone above and beyond to make sure I'm taken care of. I recently had potential dental emergency and they were extremely helpful at taking care of it and making sure I wasnt worried about it. The staff are so nice. They walk you through everything that they are doing so you feel totally comfortable. Honestly if you are looking for a dentist office that feels less like a visit to the principles office and is just a pleasant experience this is the place. 10 for 10 recommend.

By far the best dental experience I've had (and I've been treated by over 6 different dentists in various US cities). Besides their professionalism and expertise, Dr. Brendan, Rebecca, Jeanette were very friendly, outgoing, patient, and recommended a more reasonable (and affordable) course of treatment. From the moment I called to schedule my appointment, to the moment my treatment was completed, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend their dental practice. This is the best dentist and dental staff that I have ever had!!! Everyone greets you by your first name from the minute you walk in the front door and treats you like family. The care and advice they give you feels like what they would do for one of their family members. I started going here because it was close to my first apartment when I moved to Austin. I have since moved further away, but keep coming here because they are the best people you could ever have looking out for your health and well-being.

My wife was billed for x rays, however never got x rays during that visit. I am generously assuming just a clerical mistake as opposed to fraudulent billing. However Front desk staff kept referring to billing department who hasn’t returned calls despite multiple calls and voicemails for over 5 weeks now. Please have billing contact us and we are happy to change our review. Update: the review seemed to help. The billing department finally got back to us and fixed the mistake and refunded the charges.

I have a rocky dental history from where I used to live so getting any work done makes me nervous, but the team at Britex made the cleaning and handful of fillings so far painless, fast, and dare say it, fun! They helped me understand what would be the best course of action for getting my teeth back in tip-top shape, even going so far as to email me copies of the x-rays with a breakdown of estimated insurance coverage and notes. Today I have a great experience during my treatment with dr Lohr. The procedure was almost painless and the courtesy was unbelievable. All his assistants were very polite and took care me like a “baby”. The dental hygienist ( Violeta) in Boulder Ln did an excellent job during my deep cleaning a month ago as well. I can recommend her to whoever want a deep cleaning treatment. I am more than happy that my son recommended this type of professional for my treatment. I love ya !! See you soon.

Been coming here for a little awhile now and I have nothing but great things to say! I recently had an easy, comfortable cleaning with Megan. All of my questions were answered about a couple things concerning my teeth, she was super patient and gentle with me because I was having a little gum issue on a part of my mouth, and it was overall such a pleasant experience. Shanita is also super awesome. She’s so sweet and kind with helping me schedule my next appointments and such!

Dr Lohr has been my dentist for several years now. He is always friendly, kind and thoughtful. I also went to Dr Briggs in Cedar Park for implant prep. She is very good at what she does. I am the very happy recipient of two implants! All offices work efficiently together. Had tooth extraction by Dr Mike Robert’s, took 3 hours and he was always concerned about my comfort. Can’t say enough good things about my experiences. Office staff are so efficient and friendly.

I had to leave my previous dentist due to a change in dental insurance, and was not liking the idea. I've since changed my mind. I really appreciate this group of caring and dedicated professionals. From first contact to last, they are exceptional. I recommend them to friends, family, and neighbors. Now I am recommending them to you. If you aren't satisfied, just let them know the issue. I switched to Dr. Stokley after having a negative experience with my previous dentist and needed a second opinion. Great office and great team. Dr. Loehr has done several crowns for me, along with the usual fillings and every one was perfect. I hadn’t been to a dentist in about 10 years because I hated going to the dentist, then I found these guys!! I have now been seeing them for almost 2 years and they are so wonderful! I am a new patient with Swish Dental and had my first appointment yesterday. It was a new patient appointment, so x-rays and exam. Everyone treated me very nice and they were knowledgeable and efficient. The only negative was the schedule for my cleaning as it is going to be more than a month from my first appointment.

I was mislead about the service. I purchased a plan with certain services then they denied the service and said I had to do a more expensive one. They refused to refund my money. I would consider this a scam by telling me one thing and then did the old switch to get more money. Don’t use this company!

I cracked my front tooth on Friday night while at a party. I called the customer service number and made an appointment for the following Monday. On Monday I was pleased with the level of service from the staff and the dentist took care of my tooth. I highly recommend their services.

Great dental office! The doctors and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Office is clean, modern and efficient. Parking is easy. They will tell you if a service may not be covered by your insurance and let you know the cost so that you can make a educated decision.

After moving to Austin, I needed to find a new dentist, and I found a fantastic one! The office is spotless, everything looks brand new. Friendly and professional staff. Overall, a wonderful experience. I feel relieved to now have a dentist I trust.

My family (2 adults and two girls) visit this dental office since January 2017. We always have a positive experience starting from front desk! All staff is professional, friendly and very kind. We feel lucky to get Dr Loehr as a our family dentist!

I am very happy with the work they do. Very clean and sanitized. I had an unfortunate billing mishap due to staff miscommunication in October. This was not fixed by staff at that time. I had to work it out with billing and it cost me money.

I just had the best cleaning I have ever had! I’m 65 and have been to a lot of dentists and the Bull Creek Swish location on 2222 is the best I have been to. I trust and appreciate every experience I have had there over the past 5 years!

Receptionist, Hygienist, and Dentist are very professional and knowledgeable. They always take good care of me, and tell me what to do in order to keep my teeth healthy. Love going to this place, I always recommend this to other people.

Check in is super easy from your own phone. Hygienist staff is always attentive to your needs or if something starts to hurt. I also always have a great experience with the dentists too. I've used them for years and will continue.

Thought I had cracked a crown because the tooth was very sensitive to cold. Had it x-rayed. All was well . No crack at all. It is so wonderful to have professionals to answer my questions and take care of my teeth.
