Sycamore Plaza is a fantastic shopping center that deserves a five-star rating. During my recent visit, I was thoroughly impressed by the variety of stores, restaurants, and services offered. The plaza has a great mix of both well-known chain stores and local businesses, making it a perfect destination for both shopping and dining. The stores were well-stocked and offered a wide selection of products, and the restaurants were top-notch, serving delicious food and providing a welcoming atmosphere. The atmosphere of the plaza was also top-notch. The outdoor seating area was inviting and well-maintained, and the landscaping was well-manicured, giving the plaza a beautiful and welcoming appearance. Additionally, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making the shopping experience even better. In conclusion, I highly recommend Sycamore Plaza for anyone looking for a top-notch shopping and dining experience. The variety of stores, restaurants, and services, the inviting atmosphere, and the friendly staff all make for a fantastic experience that is sure to exceed your expectations. Five stars all around!

This shopping complex contains both Walmart and Smiths grocery stores. But our reason to visit the center is to have lunch at the Firehouse Subs. The tables overlook the Academy open space and Bernalillo in the distance, along with dreamy gazes northward toward Sante Fe. And the subs are always good to order over rhe last few years. The surrounding neighborhoods have many nice homes and planned developments who prioritze established tree canopies, architectural interest and desertscape with lawn accents. Its a middle to upper middle class area of northeast Albuquerque. Good schools and nice parks.
The picture is what was Boston Market. Sorry TSA, your go-to holiday shop is closed as of late 2022 or early 2023. That food left something to be desired. I would watch as they made holiday dinners via a trailer. Whatever was in that cold trailer come Thanksgiving or Christmas, they dropped it on the asphalt before it went in for cooking. Rest of the plaza review: great mix of stores here. Owner you should really patch the twin pot holes at the Wyoming entry and exit. Liability lawsuit waiting for any pedestrian that finds those.
Please don't have an online order pick up line if you're workers are just going to ignore it. Then I got cut in line by a lady so they can pay for their meal while I stood waiting for mine that was behind the workers. Came here for the nostalgia I had back on the east coast but the customer service was disappointing, female staff made eye contact multiple times with me but still ignored me, until a male staff asked and at the end told me to say something. I appreciate him for atleast finally attending me.
This place is slowly going bad. Love the shopping but hate being stopped at least twice on my way out by beggars. I know some are in need but as a female you have to be extra vigilant. People standing at the lights knocking on your windows to give them money or people in their cars driving along side you as you walk to your vehicle giving you some sob story and then getting mad when you don’t give them anything. It’s scary, Especially at night. Management needs to do something about it.
Great shopping center! There are plenty of places to eat and shop! Walmart, Smith's grocery store, Game Stop, Petsmart, Sally's, Supercuts are some of the stores. If you are hungry after shopping you can eat at Dion's (pizza/subs), Fire House Subs, Moe's BBQ, Chinese Food resturant (next to Supercuts), Eisenstein's Bagels. Very pet friendly area as well. You can park your car and walk around very easily. If you need to shop or eat check out Sycamore Plaza!
In this shopping area I only shop at Smith's grocery and Walmart. Smith's is nice to shop on with friendly employees. This Walmart is not a super center... it is often lacking what o need that I could get at other Walmarts. The parking lot of this center is TERRIBLE. It's got random "islands" where one has to work around and the parking spaces are lined out in confusing, random ways. It's the most awful parking lot over ever been in!
Handicapped Parking Places are plentiful, in the best area's, and big enough! The store is always clean, and well maintained! The Clothing, Shoe's, and Jewelry Departments keep up with what's trendy, while keeping it affordable! Customer Service Associate's are always easy to find, smiling, and very helpful! It doesn't seem to matter what is on my shopping list, they seem to have it, and I stay on budget! I just love it here!
Went to Dions. WORKERS were rude. Forgot our dressings. When asked about it they searched on the receipt like we didn't pay for it. Which we did. Gave it to us very rude with attitude when looking through our order at the window and rightfully so. When we got home they forgot our other salad dressing! we eat there and spend enough money there we do not need to be treated that way by a bunch of kids!
Walmart customer service on Wyoming and Academy closes at 8 pm. I wanted to pick up some shoes but the employee said there was nobody working back there. A little unfair, I was more perturbed by the used tissue laying in the only available check out (excluding the self-checkout) open and I believe near the freezer with the sodas. I am still irritated with the last time with the "Karen" like manager.
The plaza has everything someone is looking for when shopping for daily things. The restaurants on the lot are also great. The reason for three stars is that there are a lot of beggars walking around harassing people for money. The entrance to the location literally always has someone with a sign begging. If you go there, expect to have at least one or two interactions with beggars.
Sycamore plaza in close by and has Walmart, Smith's, Dion's pizza & many more stores. They're almost always busy and a good place to shop. I have one complaint, however. The parking lot has several potholes that have needed repair for over a year. I fault the property manager for not taking care of this. Those holes could damage your car or cause someone to fall down!
Like I said before, if it has a bunch of places I like to go then it gets a 5 star. This week I came to Dion's for pizza and subs. I bought Easter stuff from Wal-Mart and a few groceries. Stopped into Smiths at the bakery for a birthday cake and they have a Gamestop, keva juice, Einstein's, and a Firehouse Subs. Great places we all love to shop and eat at.
Large parking lot with several easy access entrances. Lots of stores like Walmart, PetSmart, and Sally's, and lots of other places. Lots of restaurants like Boston Market, Dion's, Einstein's Bagels, and Dragon Wok to name a few. There's a hair place, a Keva Juice, and many other places we all need. I like it when I can go to one location and get lots done.
It used to be a nice shopping center and we would come from the Westside to shop but the people have gotten to be extremely rude and the front of the stores are filthy. The Walmart is so gross, you have to check your shoes to see if you stepped in dog poop because the smell and the bathrooms are filthy. I guess it's time to find a new store to shop at.
A variety of shopping places with a good Wal-Mart, Pet Smart and an awesome Dion's. The parking lot is usually crowded due to the Super Wal-Mart but you can still find spaces. It can also be a little dirty at times but it's not that bad. Most of the stores are open with few customer restrictions on entry. It's a frequent stop for my family.
This is right near where I live. There's a Smith's grocery, Sally Beauty, GNC vitamins, Game Stop, and a large WalMart (with groceries). Parking is plentiful but be careful in the lot - people be crazy drivers in ABQ. Well taken care of plaza - Sycamore trees surround it. There are two entrances - one from Wyoming and one from Academy.
Soak up a paper towel with cooking oil put cheese on it roll it up and eat it and you'll have Dion's pizza. I know that sounds messed up but you won't be able to tell the difference between your grease soaked paper towel and Dion's pizza. PS don't kill me Dion you got the second star because your salads rock …
Great stores and eating options here... Smiths, Walmart, Petsmart, Gamestop, Supercuts, Sally's, Dion's, Boston Market, Dragon Wok, and more... The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is the parking lot for Wal-Mart/Smiths area has a horrible lay out...watch for drivers cutting across it...
The food is great. Was a little disappointed in the customer service this time. Ordered a large amount of food for a party. I was the only one to pick it up. I asked for help but was told your going to have to make a few trips.... first time this has happened, in the past always had someone help.
Went to sunnyside up, were told 10 minute wait 35 minutes later we were seated, waitress was nice, but took food 45 minutes, all plates came one at a time mine Benedict's were cold, the oatmeal was the last to come that was about an hour wait it tasted like microwave type. $100 later we left
It's decent. There aren't a whole lot of stores and part of it looks pretty sketchy and I wouldn't stay there late at night. The Walmart in it is also very barebones compared to other Walmarts in Albuquerque. I would recommend only if you're in the area and absolutely need to go.
Lied about ingredients after being told of food allergies Gave me that food that I am allergic to Indoor seating closed so we were far away before even knowing they gave me dangerous ingredients Do not eat where they care so little about customers on such an important issue!
I wish the parking lot would make more sense! Plenty of parking for the businesses in the plaza, but there are issues with how the traffic flow of the lot runs! The random diamond in the mid-center of the lot is a dangerous spot, even if you're paying attention as a driver!
Kroger has food. It is easy to buy food from the and take it home (or not), consume the food, and subside. Beware: Walmart. There is a Walmart. Fun place to wait and watch for phunny foto opportunities (ask permission fist, photographing without permission is rude)
It's just okay. Walmart, petsmart, a Dion's and a Boston market (ick) are holding this place together in an OK neighborhood where you're less likely to have your car broken into than if you were at walmart in the south valley. Nothing to get excited about.
Ramon Rios went above and beyond to find the correct mattress. Plus he helped us receive the mattresses within a certain timeframe out of state. His positive attitude makes buying mattresses a fun experience. I would highly recommend working with Ramon!
This is a nice strip mall that is big and has a wide variety of tenets, plenty of parking, and adequate lighting at night. The parking spots are well labeled and it has trees. There is no information center but this type of strip mall doesn't need one.
The Walmart is a Walmart, what more can ya say? The Smith's at this location tho is epic! From high end cookware to gas bbq grills and outdoor furniture it's awesome! They even have groceries too! There's also a decent selection of chow around as well.
This property has changed so much since the 80s I used to be the property maintenance guy at that place I said I have a rewards of that property back in the late 80s for my ultimate Landscape Maintenance and look at it now it's just not the same place
Mc Donalds visit. The new owners are not as customer friendly. Somtimes after midnight they only accept cash. This Mc Donalds will not take multiple orders. If youhave 4 people ordering you will have to drive thru 4 timed to get your orders filled.
I have been going to this Dion's location since I was a little kid. Definitely a cozy place and great to bring children, they have a spot to watch the pizza makers. The green chile is delicious on pizza and subs, they also have tasty sweet tea!
This place has a lot of shopping stores in this little Sycamore Plaza. I have been shopping at this plaza for years. They have great places to eat and to buy all kinds of stuff. I'll always go to this little plaza for all my shopping needs.
Stores are OK, but the parking lot is atrocious. Sincerely, it's in bad shape and the layout invites all sorts of foolish driving. R parking and general craziness on the lot makes everything in the plaza less desirable as a destination.
This is a large shopping center. I think the anchor business is probably a walmart. My only interaction has been stopping at the Dion's pizza restaurant. This is a particularly good local restaurant chain and this is a great location!
Such an amzing place to get a good bite to eat. A really loving inviting place to go for a family breakfast or lunch. Unfortunately, it recently went out of bussiness. It is now a bbq/brewery place. Looks really nice from the outside.
Pretty good plaza you can get a lot of shoppimg done between smiths walmart and petsmart. And it has one of the better gamestops in town. A very large parking lot, its a pretty good plaza the lot could use some work in some spots.
Really great place to get your shopping done and grab a quick bite to eat. They have a WalMart and a Smiths right by each other which is super convenient. And the Einstein Bagel and Firehouse Subs are close as well.
They really need to redo the parking lot I get into a wreck almost every time I go there. some idiot always running into me . No direction on where to go in that parking lot people are ignorant with out it!
Parking in this shopping center is chaotic, with people driving every which way. But there is a grocery store, a pet store, a Walmart, several pokestops and gyms, and numerous restaurants and smaller shops.
I like to do my shopping over here in this area more than anywhere else in the whole city. they have a Dion's Pizza over here which is awesome, the Walmart is nicer.. not as bad as other places for sure
A friend and I shopped at Smith's on Academy & Wyoming. Very nice clean store and big too. I worked there many years ago in the photo lab (when they had photo labs). Employees are very nice and helpful.
The place is dirty. There are not very good shopping options at this location. I dislike the location and the type of customers it brings in because of the location. I would recommend you go else where.
Not exactly worth a huge review but they do have Walmart (gross), Dion's, Stripes, firehouse subs, a bank, a bagel place and some other stuff here. Not too shabby a plaza for what it's worth I suppose.
I do not recall this place? It was likely a drop-off or pick-up site for one of my Uber or Lyft passengers. But I have never had any complaints about the place so that must be a good thing, right???
... There's an Albertson grocery store there and on the east side of the building is a little Chill Spot. I mean benches and tables to sip on a Starbucks Coffee that's just in side the Albertson.
Armed security forces everywhere feels like your in danger for even being in the parking lot if I got to shop for anything I'm going where I don't have to wear my body armor and carry a piece
Yes , this place Says Dion's on outside. Didnt knoq its a pizza place. Was actually shoppin at Smiths. I did notice rhat the other Smiths on PaseoNorte also has a Dion's in the parking lot.
I shopped at Smith's in the shopping center, the employees for fantastic and very courteous. The store was clean and the Isles were not cluttered, the items I needed were easy to find.
Just about all you need in one shopping square: Walmart, Smith's, PetSmart + Loads of restaurants and other retailers Best possible parking lot too, never hard to get in/out. …
The parking lot is very large and it is easy to miss the signage and many people don't seem to follow the traffic patterns well, but there are lots of shops here for all my needs!
Salsa kicked my butt, but it was tasty. Food was great, especially the Carne Ardovado ribs. If you have not tried then, you should. Melt in your mouth, spice kicking goodness.
Lots of good places to eat, shop and look at. It's just always busy with traffic and can be hard to get into and out of. It has around 2-3 in and outs which build up traffic.
Nice part of town, one-stop shopping for many errands (groceries, pet supply store, restaurants). Best part - the parking lot actually has shaded areas! (Very rare in NM...)
Every time I go here there service is lousy, staff seems new and not trained. It's the worse Boston Market I've patronized in the nation. I do not recommend this location.
Its a good clean well kept place has most of what you are looking for in a shopping center and the walmart is the best one i have been to friendly staff and very helpfull.
Shopping in Sycamore Plaza never disappoints. It has many stores that many people shop at. Lines are not to bad. Also, it has good food in the plaza. Better part of town!
The manager a young man was great and ended up making things right. However the girls on the line didn't know what they were doing an just bad customer service.
The parking lot for the shopping plaza needs some intense attention ASAP. The potholes are deep enough to swallow small animals and do significant tire damage.
Actually reviewing Q's called in Sycamore Plaza, I ordered a keto cheesecake, I got the refrigerated kind instead of the baked. They didn't care I was unhappy.
This particular shopping center is dirty. Homeless begging for money or selling their stuff at the entrances. People living in their cars in the parking lots.
Wonderful to have a super WalMart so close by, especially one with groceries. We also love Smith's, PetSmart, Dion's, Einsteins, and a great Chibese takeout.
easy, free parking, fast service, safe, wide selection of products for sale at Smiths, Walmart, Petsmart and food for sale at Dion's pizza and other eateries
Very clean. Juices consistantly delicious. Great customer service. They listen. Not too pricey considering you are putting something healthy into your body.
Went 2 the Wal-Mart n that place don't have much on sale like all the other Wal-Mart's but what i can say is that store is very clean n great hospitality.
That La Misa Center was an oops. I thought it was the sycamore plaza. That one is close to where I live and I don't have to carry my purchases very far.
My workout studio is here. Barre3abq. After my workout it's convenient to pick up items. There's a good amount of parking. Easy access from main roads.
Great shopping center! Smiths, Dions, Game stop & One of my favorite Chinese restaurants, Dragon Wok! & if u need a new phone? There's a Verizon store
With the covid going on. It was crazy here, long line to get in, only two checkouts open. But it is the day before a holiday weekend so there is that.
Cannot say enough good things about my first experience. From the food to our waiter Patrick. Will definite be frequenting Dave's High Desert Grill.
Good place for all your grocery and other essential home needs. Restaurants, Smith's, Walmart and more. Plenty of parking in a peaceful atmosphere.
Love yesterday and I don't know what to do with it but I don't know what to tell is that the first time I was in the hospital …
Went to go to Walmart and because I was a male I had security have to escort me. He admitted it was cause was male. I can't believe this world.
I shop here @ least once a week, & it's usually very pleasant! We're Fresh Value members & always enjoy our discounts & the gas points. …
When it’s good it’s great. But do not go after a rush , wait until they cook the stuff again. Otherwise always good service from the staff!
Freda at this store was very nice oh, very friendly and very helpful on my selection. I want to thank you very much. The food was delicious
Due to the presence of Walmart I cannot in good conscience rate this plaza anything higher than 1 star. Dragon Wok restaurant is awesome.
Great pizza, great salad, and great house ranch dressing! Food is wonderful, service is fast, and you definitely get your money's worth.
Smith's, Walmart, Beauty store, Pet store, Bank, Boston Market, Einstein's Bagels, Dion's, Breakfast, Haircuts. . everything you need.
Dion's has my favorite salads and pizza ranks near the top for me as well. The Ranch dressing is legendary for salad and pizza dipping
Beautiful shopping environment, Wal Mart seems to be the nicest and cleanest in Abq. We really love the Pet Smart and so do the pups!
Went to stripes burritos. Was good. Not a huge burrito like was told but tasty. Being from Santa Fe use to larger breakfast burrito.
There is so much in this plaza. Good food starbucks smiths big 5. Also winks gym and 24 hour gym and dog grooming facility. Love it.
The cheapest, best grocery store and big box store side by side in beautiful academy area. Lots of parking, shopping, and dining.
You can really get everything you need here. Lots of great food options for any meal, as well as a good number of places to shop.
This plaza is great; it has super stores and small eateries. Great parking and security. Also, the shops are all in business.
Parking lot always is clean. Has a nice set of stores to shop with. Easy drive in and out. Well marked from main streets.
Walmart. Terrible place to shop on your own. Lines are always long. I recommend "Pickup" or "Delivery" from Walmart.
They don't offer a gluten free pizza for my wife so they lost my business as well as never getting her business...
Decent shopping. Don't leave valuables in your car as random people have started making their way in to the area.
This store is always clean, and you can find some great deals. Definitely worth the extra miles to avoid others!!
Really great place, go to Smith's and Walmart often and Dion's pizza is the best! Also has lots of great parking.
Anything you order from Stripes burrito co. Is always terrific and delicious. Will always continue to eat here.
Parking Lot needs to be mapped out better. Each lane should be one way. The two way lanes ate a major headache.
All menu items are exceptional when made fresh!!! One of the best home cooking tasting restaurants their is.
Went to Walmart there. Parking lot was clean and easy to get in and out of. Lots of parking close to stores.
The food is so good. The people are very welcoming and helpful. I will tell my friends to go and eat there.
It is decent and clean and that's about it. Dealing with the staff was about as fun as watching paint dry.
Had pho there for the first time service was awesome very quick huge bowl great decor ill totally be back
