Staff have limited knowledge of what they are selling, so do your research before going there. Take extra care to check if all parts are in the box before leaving. And never provide your driver's license when asked, as they'll record your driver's license number before you can stop them. And your personal details are a data leak away from being public knowledge. Well, I guess I'm saying don't go there unless it's absolutely necessary or there's a great bargain and you can't help yourself to avoid it. Update: Fair point about the varying level of expertise, Sydney Tools Blackburn. I guess it's just my bad luck I encountered an "apprentice". But just like any other industry, the employer is responsible for the "apprentice", not the customer. And I'm somewhat shocked, and it is telling that you chose not to respond to my other points, I guess it's probably company-wide policy and not something you can personally change. What an awesome experience on boxing day to pick up an item weighing 260kg then to find out at home that it has been damaged behind its protective packaging I assume by the forklift. Called the store and was told to bring it back to assess the damage, so another 30min drive back to the store . So besides my time wasted I thought these things happen and I'll just exchange it !! Then the disappointment starts when I was told by the manager that they have one left at the back of the store but was told they are too busy as it being boxing day, which I would understand but there was hardly anyone in the store. I asked again if they could please have someone get it and the manager just gave me an attitude NO . So then I asked for a refund which he agreed to but 4 days later have not received anything. What has happen to customers service when people can't be bothered.

A pleasure to meet all the service team here! I've been shopping here since two years ago, I originally went to some other Eastern South Sydney tools shops but they never treat me like this. In this store, all service team members treat me like best mates! share all the information that you'll need to get the job done, tool selections and also get you operational and professional ideas. Especially thanks to Mr Jack Lim, an ultra responsible gentleman who will always look after you and can speak 7 different languages which is very helpful if you are going to take your family shopping for some tools and need advice. Exceptional service by an exceptional staff. I went in looking for a very specific tool that the other big box retailer did not stock. After looking around, I spoke to a staff about my need. Not only did the staff know what I am talking about, he also knew the store would not carry this item. The staff told me that he has the tool at home and would drop it off in my letter box (based on the info in the existing customer database) in a day or 2. Lo and behold, the staff came to my door with the tool and even showed me how to use it. Well done Sydney Tools for hiring a fantastic human to be on your team.

I purchased dewalt tool set including table saw and stand They gave me wrong stand which doesn't fit to the table saw . I realized when I get to work and wasted so many hours . But they did not apologize when I went to get the correct stand. The manager just gave me stand and left. It was terrible customer service and I won't go sydney tools anymore

I bought a power drill & the person who helped me was very knowledgeable and didn’t try and rush the sale or me into making a decision. Vet happy with my new drill & l would recommend this store - it has a huge range of products and good prices.
