The Managers are great. However, there are too many broken or junk items there, almost like, seconds or thrift finds. Many items do not have prices on them and then when you go to the cashier's (not all) they are quick to say there is no one in that Dept to be able to check the price and people wind up not being able to purchase those items. Recently I saw a soiled, women's black bathing suit for sale while I was looking through the racks and another customer and I were aghast. I think TJMaxx is a great store in general and there are a lot of good finds like the jewelry dept there but this particular store has too many left over, thrift-looking goods that don't qualify as new to me. It's time this particular store gets up to par, gets more staff and give's the Community the shopping experience they deserve because our money is being kept in the Community by choice and not for us to have to settle for mediocre merchandise.

I was really happy with my visit on July 4th. I knew the lines would be shorter as people were out celebrating the meaningless pagan holiday of a nation that daily looks for ways to remove freedoms. Anyways, I really enjoyed all of the decent prices, the selection of merchandise, the size of the store, and the clean bathrooms. The manager, the cashier, and the store associates were so helpful. I found some really cute merchandise for my apartment at really great prices. I do not have my TJX credit card in my possession. However, the cashier was more than knowledgeable about helping me make my purchase without it. I highly recommend this location. It employs a lot of minorities in a highly minority neighborhood. The merchandise is really high end as thought it would be found in an affluent neighborhood.

I have lived in the 10463 area for years, & never went to that T.J. Maxx until today. I bought two items that were at wonderful prices. A belt, & my absolute favorite cologne Nautica Voyage. The employee who got the cologne out for me was more than nice, & respectful as ever. I asked her for her name because I told her I will put up a nice review about how respectful she was. I hope I wrote it down correctly. Nekreids. A very good employee they have there. Next time I also have to bring the T.J. Maxx card I have. Forgot that. They had two NYPD officers in there as well as one security guard which sadly makes me think that place has gotten robbed a bit to much. Things are crazy nowadays sadly. Thank you T.J. Maxx for the great service today.

There’s a rude cashier and beyond slow. Slower than a turtle. He obviously doesn’t want to be there and his face says it too. Can’t even say hi back nor you welcome when I thanked him. Just a stank face. He’s the dark chubby dude, I think he’s Dominican. —2yr Old Review— I come to this store regularly, they do have some nice finds. But they also sell stuff that shouldn’t be on the sells floor, they sell half broken glass, dirty clothes, they literally would sell anything and not throw nothing away. Most of the cashiers that rang me up have attitudes. Only a few are nice.

The store in 231st St. in the Bronx is trash . I bought an Invicta watch that was defective. When I came back with the receipt, they did not want to exchange it, due to it did not have the ticket attached to the watch. Meanwhile, there was a robbery at the same time as exchanging my watch, kids went into the store to steal a whole bunch of purses. Nobody did anything to stop them. Meanwhile I couldn’t exchange my watch. Horrible customer service will never go there again.

I would like to write a nice review, because the store is very organized, however tj maxx is going to face a discrimination law for profiling working people at their store. It’s shameful they have two police officers there and they look and stare at you as if you are a thief even after making big purchases. Yet, homeless people walk in and steal all the time. Good luck if you are a woman of color here !!

I don’t normally leave bad reviews, but this store location is the worst. You’re better off parking your cart in line and then going to get what you need because you’ll be waiting 30+ minutes trying to make it to the check out counter. Line extends around the store, and they only have 2-3/8 cashiers open with staff working with zero sense of urgency.

They have great selection, tons of things to choose from. Staff isn’t too bad but the lines are long and very slow. I waited on the line for about 45 mins and they had 4 cashiers. As for everything else no real locating issues just make sure to. Heck expropriation dates in the food aisle.

This place is amazing , here you can find a variety of different brands and things for everybody in the house. I went looking for clothing for my son and let me tell you I was not disappointed you can have anything you need in TJMAX

Customer service is excellent and the cashiers are all friendly. They even have a shockingly nice mustard and hot sauce selection, if that's your thing. Only complaint? Men's shoe selection is pretty much nonexistent.

Gigantic line with hardly any staff to take care of customers. Be prepared to wait 40 minutes in line. The line dragged on to the point where other stores I was going to visit were then closed. Absolutely ridiculous.

Nice time was had here. The bathrooms are clean and smell good. Theres many things that can be bought here. The security guard was most helpful in getting me a shopping cart.

This store is clean and very spacious. They offer a lot of variety and their prices are always reasonable. The sale associates are always very polite and friendly.

There’s a really good selection of cheap, high quality stuff in this store. Customer service is slow though and the place is kinda messy and poorly organized.
