Bank says it opens at 8am, currently 8:25am and still waiting outside in -12 weather. Good thing I changed my work schedule and woke up earlier to get here for 7:55am. Update #1: A staff member drove in at 8:28am and parked next to two other team members as they shared some smiles and laughs and briskly walked into the bank. Since I've been here, approximately 15 customers have come in and left frustrated that the bank is not open. Good to know this branch is run by kids who don't seem to have any regard for people's time. Do emergencies happen? Sure. How you handle them and the optics is what truly matters. Update #2: 8:30am - Two team members are running around inside and getting set up. Have they acknowledged the 3 people waiting inbetween the double doors? Of course not. Update #3: 8:35am - A third employee entered the lobby and apologized and let the waiting customers know that there is an 'emergency' inside. Is the emergency that no one showed up to open the bank on time? Update #4: 8:37am - Another TD employee walks in the lobby as a frustrated customer leaves. The two employees are now discussing vapes and the discounts you can get from juul if you sign up quickly. Update #5: An employee opens the door at 8:43am, overwhelming joy takes over the 3 awaiting customers' faces. "Staff only - sorry we'll be open in a couple minutes". All life drains from the customers faces. Update #6: 8:44am - bank doors open - the crowd goes wild. Conclusion: This branch is an utter joke. I would run for the hills if my safety deposit box wasnt here. Saving grace? Matthew at the counter is young but cares and was wonderful and apologetic. Unfortunate that hourly staff have to bear the brunt of the management's incompetence.
Do not trust TD Bank ATM Machines! I recently tried to make a cash deposit at Upper Middle & Third Line using their new “no envelope required” ATM machine. After grabbing the cash, the machine posted an error message, and froze. When I tried to remove the cash from the machine, it took $1200 without recording it or providing a receipt. I immediately reported the incident to the branch and was assured it would be looked after just as soon as the machine count was taken. For three weeks, the only contact I had with this branch was when I phoned them, or went to the branch myself. I did not receive a single call during this time. One month later, the staff, management, Branch Manager and TD Customer Care have all told me there is nothing they can, or will do for me. One thousand, two hundred dollars! Next, I will contact the Better Business Bureau. Do not make the same mistake I made. Do NOT trust TD Bank ATM Machines!
have not been to the bank since Pandemic started in 2020. went in because I had to, yesterday, to deposit a cheque. there were 3 people ahead of me, everyone keeping social distancing, with one person on the till, out of the blue this girl comes up to me and says I have to step out since they are at capacity, 3 people!!!! I stepped out and 5 seconds later, she jumps on the till, takes next customer, so now only 2 people ahead of me and says , you can come in now......I understand and respect the concept of safety and social distancing in these uncertain times, but to HUMILIATE your clients like that is unacceptable. She saw I was very upset with her actions, but offered no apology. Have not been to the bank for 2 years now, probably will never go again and certainly not to this branch.
I went in to do a withdrawal at the atm inside the branch today Oct 16th at 1424 upper middle in Oakville. The machine says withdrawal was done and gave me paper receipt but no cash. I went to the teller and he said to me that the machine has been giving them trouble for a while so why not get a new machine. The branch manger : Sandra Palermo said I have to wait 5 business days for the investigation prior to getting any money. They have cameras and they can call whoever services or is the 3rd party provider.. 5 business days is completely unacceptable. Very terrible customer service. No alternatives offered. Just incredible that they lacked the talent to offer any solutions except to say they will log in the paperwork for investigations and I have to wait 5 business days.
My son had a child savings account with TD for 10 years. He finally got to the age where he started using his account actively. Picked up some transaction fees for debit purchases. Asked TD to waive them as he was unaware of the account terms (from 10 years ago) and they tried to bargain with him and cut it in half. After eventually deciding not to waive the fees, they then told him to drive to his home branch to resolve. If we were in 1980, that might have made sense. Terrible customer service from this branch. So bad that he left TD immediately for another bank. These kids are the future. And Canadians are generally fiercely loyal to their banks. Not the right way to treat a potential life customer. Shame on you, TD Upper Middle.

I’ve had an amazing experience with the staff over here! Specially with the Manager and with Shaza! They are very welcoming and I love how they prioritize to help their customers out in whatever way they can! I have been personally dealing with the Manager and with Shaza for my banking needs. I must say, as a business owner who’s always in a hurry and wants the work done right there and then, they make sure to help me out with each and everything! TD needs employees like these! I’ve had very bad experiences with the other branches, but everyone at this branch is beyond amazing! Thank you guys!
My recent experience with the financial staff in this branch was very bad. Not only we have to book an appt, which is OK based on safety protocols, but not been able to complete my request is unacceptable. I am still waiting for the financial advisor to call me back even though I left 2 urgent messages, spoke next day directly with him and he said was going to call me back before the end of the day.... it’s been a week now and no call. I will have to go to another branch to see if they can finally help out.
I visited this branch twice this week in order to change my mailing address. At the first vist, I wanted to know how to change my address. Manaan helped me understand. He was very kind and patient even though I don't speak English well. Also, I met him again at the second visit. He remembered me and processed changing my mailing address at professional way. At this point I want to speak that his work seems to be " client first" and "consideration". Thanks you, Manaan!
I was very surprised when I read all the bad reviews. I've visited this branch multiple times and never had a bad experience. I would highly recommend banking here. My husband and I walked in 30 mins before they closed yesterday and the teller and his manager were very courteous and accommodating. I was very impressed with the service! Great hours every day, and they are in a convenient location close to a major intersection and adjacent to a big plaza.
Very bad dealing especially the manger of the customer service I was really in a rush to do a change on the bank card and she was telling like three different story non of them were logical at the end I went to another branch and they did it perfectly! It was really waste and waste and wast of time and energy being at that manager office ! And she know that it’s Sunday and We were in need to fix I would never recommend that branch at all
I called the branch after finally someone picked up the phone only to realize the rep. on the other end picked up and then put the phone back down. My question was a brief but then had to call their toll free number and to get thru took exactly 20 mins. All in all a total time of 25 mins. spent on a simple yes or no answer. I find it appalling as to how low their customer service desk can get - I mean just answer your phones! Please!
This bank, and especially this branch is awful. I warn all people, especially professionals whose time is valuable, don't get even close to this bank, and STOP DEALING WITH TD. My experience is UNBELIVABLE, people in this bank tortured us for weeks, and wasted our time and money every single days, and eventually we cancelled everything, before we go crazy. Just DONT DEAL WITH TD.
This TD branch is the worst. The young staff at this branch are unqualified. I didn’t know getting a new bank card was so hard. After two people took 40 minutes to figure out the policy, it took a third person help them not get anywhere I had to leave after 50 mins because of their poor customer care. I’m not one to write reviews but this place is a complete joke. Burn it down.
We really appreciate the service of TD branch upper middle n Third line oakville. While the other branches suggested us to book an appointment for opening new account, this branch staff Named Mannan helped us and open the new account online. We were able to finish our stuff on the time. I m glad that i m client of this TD branch. Stay blessed Mannan
I come here with my mom all the time we always have had good customer service I went here to make myself a bank account with my mom the guy that helped me was super sweet and respectful his name was Adrian,Adrian helped me a lot with making a bank account he was super kindhearted recommend this bank everyone here is super nice !
HORRIBLE branch. Absolutely the laziest, most obnoxious and incompetent young staff you'll ever find. Their young hires have no idea what they're doing, give out false information, contradict themselves, use no discretion, have awful judgement and will not lift a finger to help you. An absolute DISGRACE of a branch.
Worst customer service I have ever seen with any TD branches that I have ever been too. My sister works for TD and I told her how our experience went today with my parents and she was amazed. We simply went over to Westoak Trails and Bronte location and were treated the way we always have been. AVOID THIS BRANCH!
Steer clear of this branch if you’re from out of town and need to take care of your banking. Apparently you need to be an Oakville resident to receive services otherwise you’ll be called a fraudster and told to go back “where you drove from.” What would you have done if I were from a different province?
Very good experience at this particular branch in the month of March 2021. Kristina was able to sort out my transaction in less then 40 minutes while other representatives could not help in more then 11 hours on the phone. Jason , thank you connecting me with Kristina.
Disappointed with the service quality in this branch. I had looked to other reviews on this branch and saw a lot of reviews complaining on the service quality too. Management have to take action otherwise they will find themselves without customers here.
The branch was nice when I was a customer. One of the tellers was quite rude to my sister when she was trying to set up a preauthorized debit from her account. As a former teller of another institution I find that unacceptable!
This TD has the friendliest staff that I've seen in a bank. I like the ATMs because I don't have to go to the tellers. The reason this is four stars is because they have made mistakes in the past,but it's still a great bank.
If you have to use the tellers,avoid weekends. Also can be frustrating with the revolving door of tellers that work here. Bank policy is not there to make customer's experience easier. They treat you like a stranger.
One of the worst service I’ve noticed in TD. They take forever to withdraw money. Agents roam here & there, the one who’ll serve barely knows & is learning. Worst experience not coming to this branch again.
The staffs were so polite and helping, but an asian manager was so rude to talk, he could be nice to inform customers, if not he would be better to stay at home and be relax to start another day normally

The staff makes too much conversation rather than actually doing what I come in for. I can't say that my experience at this location is great.
Avoid. Went in on two separate occasions to make changes to my TFSA enrollment and was told no one could help me and come back another time.
Terrible. Managers don't know what they're talking about and will give misinformation. Branch Manager is also rude, hostile and unhelpful.

Needed a certified cheque for a large amount ASAP. Manager Farra made sure it happened smoothly.
