"This used to be my home branch and although I've moved closer to the one on Main, I still come back to this one for the customer service"
"God awful customer service"
"Super terrible experience!! I just standing on the public street and ask me to move far away and threatening me He said if I don’t move they will call the security just standing near the bank"
"By far the worst TD experience in Lower Mainland"
It’s terrible service I had unauthorized access, so I went to a branch to get a new access card. On the phone, She was told that it would be fine if I had two IDs and one with a photo. However, when I went to the store and told them that I wanted to get an access card and presented my passport, I was told that this could not be verified because the number was different from before. I didn't understand what you were saying. If my passport doesn't work as ID, what should I submit? Also, because I can't speak English very well , I was taken aback and asked to communicate with an interpreter over the phone. In the end, I didn't know what to do, and was just wasting my time. In the end, He was told to go to a different store because there might be someone who knew you at a different store. I ended up not getting an access card and was late for work. I called TD line again and was told that this was not possible. She was told that if I had my passport and another ID, I could make a card at any store right away I have to go to the store with my passport to get an access card. Impossible.
This used to be my home branch and although I've moved closer to the one on Main, I still come back to this one for the customer service. Their front of house staff are always friendly and efficient. I've gotten to recognize a few of their managers/tellers and they often say hi or give me a wave. A couple weeks ago, one of the tellers greeted me by name before I had even stepped up to put my card in. There is a family-like feel to this branch that I appreciate. Side note: at the height of COVID when the branches and staff were consolidated, you could really feel the difference. The other branch staff didn't know the place, were a little bit brusque, and seemed disorganized. Now that the regular staff are back, the place is back to running like a well oiled machine.
God awful customer service. Had a bank draft from my BMO business account that I wanted to deposit and was told by the CSR manager it'd take 5 days to clear or I can do a wire transfer for an $80 fee and it'd clear in one business day. I needed the funds right away for a deposit on a home and could not wait. The CSR manager refused to clear it for me and the branch manager was not available. Cancelled my account with TD, took all my money out and took my bank drafts to CIBC and my senior financial advisor with Imperial Service cleared it right away. The only helpful thing TD did for me that deserved them one star was waive the bank draft fee for taking my money out of the account.
Super terrible experience!! I just standing on the public street and ask me to move far away and threatening me He said if I don’t move they will call the security just standing near the bank. Im there waiting to process my card because it’s stolen. I am with this bank for more than 8 years and this is 1st time happened to me. November 03 2023 he is working 8:30am I want you can find him and teach him how to treat your customers properly so it will never happened again on your other clients. That’s all Have a wonderful weekend!
By far the worst TD experience in Lower Mainland. Incompetent manager with attitude and poorly trained staff is disaster. Bank draft clearance on hold for days and do not care if it's draft or cheque, was asked to take it to original bank and deal with it. Take your business elsewhere and TD Head Offc need to review this branch for lack of incompetency or risk of losing clients. Non-existent leadership in this branch, take your advisory needs elsewhere.
I received muchhh better service at the other TD location, but came here for convenience. It wasn't actually convenient - given that Nicholas was neither friendly, nor helpful. I've been with TD for over a decade, but I was very disappointed by the service at this location. I've always used TD's financial/business services and the previous two advisors were stellar. I eventually got what I needed, with much ease, when I went to another bank.
Took large sum of euros out and was given a ridiculously large stack of mostly lowest denomination bills without them asking if that was okay first. It's not okay. Didn't even fit into an envelope properly. Told to go to foreign currency exchange to swap for larger bills if I don't like it. Really TD?! Think I might be switching banks after this.
The girl at the teller was nice enough, but the supervisor was not polite and I had to explain my situation three times before she understood. I've had weird automatic deposits that I didn't authorize, and charges for trying to move money back online. The supervisor seemed to think I was making things up? Anyway, I'm done with TD for banking.
Shout out Chris for being so eager to help me resolve my issue at 9am on a Friday of all times!!! He knew exactly what to do when other reps (at a different branch) did not. Not only that but he resolved things for me much faster than I expected. I thought it would take days but everything was fixed by 10am. My hero!
The staff here really lack customer service skills. I unfortunately find my experience with this branch to be similar of those other negative reviews. It's perhaps because they're at a busy location and they know they'll get the numbers anyways without putting in much effort for the customer experience.
Service was good. The All Inclusive Chequing account is very competitive. Certainly better than the RBC Vip account. Monthly fees waived if you carry a balance of $5000 plus no charge for an Aeroplan TD visa (140.00 per yr) plus no charge send/receive etransfers. They have a seniors rate too.
I had a question about my bill, I couldn't know how I can resolve because it was a problem for me, I came today in this place and fortunately Kate was in the job she is very polite and show me how I can resolve my question in app, it was great, Thanks a lot Kate and your bank for this staff
Customer service at this branch is awful. They allow huge line ups to form while tellers talk to customers about sunscreen. They also allow people to use the business services line for personal banking. Giving them a free pass to cut in front of people who have been waiting longer.
The teller do not have enough wiring payment experience. He did not typed in "co., Limited" on the name of the receiving company. His reason is because there's no room on it. That delayed my transfer and affects the date of the shipment.
Thanks to the manager Katya and Aisha for their help in the bank. Everything was clearly explained, filled out and executed. We are very glad that we chose this particular bank :)
I went to this bank to transfer $500 to one of our supplier, but Candace check our history and found out that we have already paid. She is such a gem, thanks for being so helpful.
Waste of time. Would have given it 0 stars if I could. Paid $5 in parking and nothing that was discussed in my half an hour meeting was done or followed through.
Best experience ever. Thank you Ellen for all your work in helping me with my cards - much appreciated - gold stars all the way!
I have been waiting close to a month now for stupid cheques. And that young lady responsible started to mouthback at me.
Horrible staff and indifferent management ( Ignore and be blind with complaints). I would give the branch 0 if I could.
Very friendly service! They're always smile make me so comfortable to come here :) Their customer service is NOT slow.
worst td branch i ever saw. at the time i went in all the reps were serving bussiness clients only
