Covid Injection Site run by FEMA - Total Time 1hour 37 minutes. Tents in Parking lot along I-275 Open 7am to 7pm. Was in line at 7am taking my 87 Y/O parents. 1st 1/2 hour In line while they looked at ID's, took temps, Dad uses wheelchair, so they mark a 'W' on windshield. Then entire line of 20 or 30 cars move at once to park. There are small shuttles available to take people to the entrance. We were directed to the front near the entrance. There were 5 or 6 tents you go through. 1st 3 were areas with lines. Having a wheelchair, we were directed around the queue. Then to a table where both parents were registered at once and got a barcoded stick-on label to stick on their jackets. Then into a tent where they both got their shot (Pfizer Brand). Then a waiting tent where we had a 30 minute wait instead of the usual 15 due to a drug allergy we listed. Your time starts when your barcode is read. There is 1 large clock on the wall and you keep track of your own time (which they probably check when your barcode is read for the last time). Tips; They have wheelchairs available for use, 3 row golf-cart type shuttles not needed for much of the parking lot. For someone who can't walk far or stand very long and has someone to push them, a wheelchair probably actually saved some time by jumping part of the queue. When we drove by Waters Ave upon leaving there were no cars in line, at 7am there were about 25 cars, so maybe a little later is better.

This place is horrible! First of all, the decor is old and dated, they had the old CRT TVs in the card room so it felt like I was back in the 1980s, also the bathroom was in a state of disrepair with rust in certain areas. The chairs at the table were uncomfortable and killing my back. The poker was no better either, they claimed a good promotion, but nobody at my table could get a high hand. I also played good quality poker and just got nailed with bad beat after beat (the regulars seemed to get lucky on me, big surprise) against awful players. It would not surprise me if the dealers here stack the deck against new players like they do at the Silks Poker Room at Tampa Bay Downs. Since their were no card shufflers, some dealers were extremely slow in getting the cards dealt, some talking so much with the regulars that they couldn't focus on dealing. It just seems like the dealers are way too familiar and friendly with the regulars, which seems pretty creepy. At my last table, some player kept standing up and singing loudly and nobody did anything to quiet him down. I left there with a headache and my ears ringing while losing $200. I was happy that that my car was still there in the parking lot, since it is in a bad neighborhood, getting mugged was in the back of my mind. Going to this place was like being in a never ending nightmare, I will never ever come back to this place again!

Got my first COVID-19 vaccine as a healthcare worker here. Healthcare workers and people under 65 who can present "FLORIDA HEALTH DEPT: DETERMINATION OF EXTREME VULNERABILITY FORM" signed by their doctor can drive up to site, be directed to park, and walk to tented areas for vaccine. The EXTREME VULNERABILITY form can be Google, downloaded, and presented to physician...or physiciN might already have it on hand. Just know,, for persons under 65yo, it is needed (as of 3/17/21). The walk from parking lot to tents is not far but might be difficult for persons with limited abilities or who need to use portable oxygen. There are LOTS of volunteers/staffers around so just let them know. They also have shuttle service from parking area to tents. It was a relatively easy process and it took a little over an hour on the busy day/time that I went. The vaccine is available at no cost but they ask for insurance if you have it. The site offered the Pfizer 2-shot regimen when I went. A friend went about 2 weeks later and was offered both the Pfizer and Johnson and Johnson shot. With the Pfizer, I was asked to return for 2nd shot in 3 weeks time. And most importantly, it was painless. The only side effect I experienced was tenderness at vaccination site. (However, those side effects range from person to person!)

I really like this place. It is the cheapest way to play No limit Texas Hold 'em in Tampa. The $1/$2 no limit is reasonable to play with only $200. You can technically buy in for $100 and things happen, but the minimum to sit is only$40, but that is basically one all in bet. The drink service is hit or miss. Last week my whole table had to wait over an hour and a half to get our drinks placed and then we waited so long one of the players got up took his money and said he was going to the Hard Rock. His drink arrived a good bit after he left. However, this Thurs. I played and there were a similar number of people and was pleasantly surprised at how quick our waitress Kayla got our drinks and was always at the ready to take more orders and deliver them promptly. So I guess it just depends on your waitress. The food is edible. It's not bad but it's nothing fancy. Overall, the place could use a face lift, but I'm not there for ambience, I am there to play poker. More particularly poker that is in my price range! And this is just that. There's also a bunch of player rewards, and tournaments also.

It seems to have gotten better from the time I was there last year. However there was a ruling unknown to me last year about exposing your cards face up when thrown in the middle. I was told that I had to stand up away from the table until big blind came back to the original place, no warnings. To me I always have known if you throw your cards in the middle they are declared muck. Last week when I played, a player did the same exact thing I did and nothing happened. I asked the dealer "are you going to address this?" He looked confused so I asked for TD. The TD explained that they had made the change to that ruling in march this year and instead they give players 2 warnings. I would of been happy there but after the TD left the dealer decided to make a joke about on at least 3 occasions. The players are nice when I went there and the TD was polite but I find the actions of the dealer to be somewhat unprofessional.

Absolutely horrible experience. I played in a tournament there about two weeks ago and believe me I will never go back. This is a small back door poker room where mostly guys go. Most of the men are respectful when a woman is present and watch the language, but on this particular occasion a guy by the name of Leo (Leonard) didn't care who was sitting there. It was raining F-bombs out of his mouth. Clearly you can see he had a little to much to drink and the Management let him carry on. Not only was I irritated and disgusted with his behavior, but so was some of the other men sitting at the table. During the tournament I sat at about 3 tables with this guy. The dealers and the other players where disgusted with him and his childish behavior. The manager only gave him warnings.. If you want to operate a respected establishment, get rid of the trash.

I love the poker room here. Big contrast with its competitor, Seminole hard rock. Floor people here are qualified, i.e. they actually know poker rules and how to properly and consistently adjudicate whatever question or dispute comes up in a game. Also they are friendlier, more accessible, and more casually in their demeanor. The rake here is a lot less than at Seminole hard rock. E.g the game that I play --which has a promotional rake for now-- is rated at 2-1 ($2 rake and $1 jackpot), whereas at hard rock it's 6-2. Huge difference that is palpable at the end of a session. At hard rock it's very difficult to come out a winner after a long session due to the high rake. Now I will admit that the decor here is not as pretty. But given the upsides, i.e. friendlier and more professional staff and lower rake, it's a no brainer preferred poker room.

I hate this company they abuse the hounds and treat them poorly I can not stand people who abuse animals! There are rumors also about owners making hounds swim in a pool for an hour before races to make them weaker and to make them loose since using chemicals would be easy to detect!! Someone needs to stop this and please remember how helpful dogs are to us and the life's they have saved dogs are beautiful creatures that don't deserve the abuse they get many different dogs such as police dogs fire dogs and therapy dogs have really made an impact on us and hounds should not even be raced period but even more abusing them is awful anyone that has raced these hounds and has treated them with this disrespect should be in jail and also screw the people that have done this!!

Having a competitive spirit and determination to win I frequented paramutuals for many years. Then came bingo halls that became hard rock casinos that became 24/7 non-stop insanity... seriously do think that the operators having full control of the computer program are going to allow me to win...or, with facial recognition will simply exploit my competitive spirit?...get real! Anyway with a return to paramutuals at least I have direct input via analysis, observation, historical data and ultimately a decision about what I choose to risk on my wager. Don't get it twisted each of the dreams selling entities calculate for me to lose. Difference is that I have a choice and because of hours of operation I have a break in the continuity of insanity...then too sometimes I win.

For the average person that wants to just go in to watch the races, don't do it, the staff there are rude and discriminate against those that don't gamble. I only say this because me and my husband had been going there to watch the races and to enjoy a meal or two there. However, today we went there and one of the security guards rudely approached us to tell us that we not allowed to come back on there property, otherwise we would be "locked up" for trespassing. This is a warning for anyone that wants to get out of the summer heat in Tampa, GO FIND A LIBRARY! The dog track is no place for non-gamblers!!!!

This place has really gone to the ground compared to a few years ago, if you want to place bets and go home it's fine, if you have not choice but to eat there that's okay too, other than few of the wait staff being nice, this place is probably still up because of the poker room, other than that, the 3rd floor tvs are like from the 80s, the carpet looks like is 30 years old, they don't have enough girls serving, you would think by they staying open during the pandemic and receiving government money, they would hire staff, but no, not here, this is my last resort place to visit say hello and head out

FEMA Vaccine site review. This site was very quick and organized. I pulled into the parking lot and I was through the lines and received my shot all in less than an hour. The waiting was very limited, they keep everyone moving very quickly and in an organized fashion. You sit for 15 minutes after you receive the shot to make sure that you don't have any adverse reactions. You also have a choice of what shot you want here. I highly recommend and I thank all the volunteers and military personnel there onsite that made this such an easy no stress process.

Poker review: Jacob Mast is the room manager of TGT and does a great time with what he is given. The facility is a bit run down but he is always listening to his players and doing things that help give back to players. He ran a great WSOP satelite rake free and hosts PLO Monday nights. He also creates player friendly structure tournaments and markets them well on social media. This weekend he hosted low rake Omaha8. Some poker rooms just run business as usual and give nothing back. Jacob does a great job.

Coming from out of town and visiting many casinos during my travels, this place is really nice. It's not like your traditional casino or anything, but if you enjoy playing Texas Hold'em, Piagow or Ultimate Texas Texas Hold'em , then you'll really enjoy this place. The staff and dealers are very friendly and the all around vibe of the place is very welcoming. You can't beat $2 Table games!! I would highly recommend this place to any poker players looking for some good action!

I had a verry bad experience tonight. I was playing a game and the dealer of a name zick was very rud to me and yelling to me cus I told him not to to show the card at the end ( rabbit ) . He made me feel I’m wrong . I know if it was Matt the manager was there he won’t let that happened. I asked politely not to show the card when the opponent fold the card , and he started yelling at me like it’s my fault and I’m not supposed to say any thing . The card dealer name is Zick

We are not talking about the circus in the parking lot of Tampa greyhound. I'm talking about Tampa greyhound it self. Poker and bar. The building was run down hasn't been remodeled since the 60s it looks like. The food was okay at best. And the service was less than average. Very depressing place. Energy in the place very low. Bunch of characters up in this place. Great location for big investors to capitalize on returns. The tent did make Tampa greyhound look better.

Better off at the Hard Rock. Poker is for the insane here. All in all the time people $25 bets every turn. This is a type of crowd who play high card with 8 ppl on the table betting $100 per hand...I never seen such unlogical betting. Like buying a $100 scratch off tickets here. To here dealers were great bar staff sucks. I mean rude and don't even talk to them. I had 1 beer lost $100 all in 25min. Stop, bet, and leave structure.

Old run down near the gato. Staff is friendly. Drinks are cheap. Not a first class establishment. If you want to sit down and play poker with a lot of local grungies, this will be your place.They do have security monitoring parking area for a good reason. The owners of The Establishment have quite a bit of money and the ability to make this place look a lot better. Complete waste of real estate no live dogs ever run here.

It is like an old fashion OTB but better. Not the flashiest place, but they have AC , sell food and beverages . If you have conerns about germs, etc;bring Wet Wipes to clean your table off. You can bet with a live person at the windows or use kiosks located throughout the building ( windows only open for limited time) . The staff was friendly, patient and very helpful. I would go back ....maybe win some money next time!

This place goes back and forth. My husband and I go for the poker room... A while back, we stopped going, there was DEFINITELY employee cheating going on. We just started going back and I'd like to think that they cleaned up their act, so far so good at least... Good job to the management and staff that remain and all the new hires! Keep up the good work and we'll remain loyal customers

Rude nasty.We parked in the lot, apparently not in the correct area...we had just gotten out of our car...the security guy came out of the door... started screaming , yelling. We were trying to figure out where he wanted us to park and he began running at us...physically charging us. We jumped in our car and took off. I was really scared. We'll not go back.

It's only for men it seems. . . Unless you're a bartender or waitress. However if you're betting on the races which you can watch on TV ...nothing live there of course, and if you're playing poker you might like the place. It's not the cleanest place in the world but it's decent and there is excellent parking and it's centrally located.

Tampa Greyhound Track is a historical land mark of Tampa Bay. If you are into the history of the place there is a small museum on site. I personally went there to play live Texas Hold'em poker. They also offer live sports betting as well. The poker room is smoke free. The tables were very comfortable and the dealers were friendly.

Table gaming is out dated and horrible because they only allow you to bet/wager whatever money you have on the table....meaning you can't double down on your bet if you don't have the chips on the table...its pathetic!.... You'll experience the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly when it comes to floor workers and staff as a whole.

TGT is an amazing environment to play poker at. Wonderful people and the vibe from the other players is absolutely amazing. I was treated with so much respect and appreciation from the staff there. I never felt nothing as close to the hospitality I felt here opposed to the times I gambled at the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa.

Went to see Cirque de Soliel in the big top, so did not see the inner workings of the track itself. Parking was $15-20 for the event, so would recommend carpooling to any event that has someone selling parking spaces at surrounding businesses. The parking lot supported a circus tent, so it could accommodate large events.

Best pot limit Omaha game I've found since I left New Zealand. Every Monday they have several tables running from 11am. To top that off they offer free food to the Omaha players Monday. Menu is excellent and I highly recommend the Apple pie A la mode. Great dealers as well and they offer Pai Gow Poker with no rake daily.

I received my first covid-19 vaccination at this site. Very organized and quick and easy less than an hour with the 15min wait time for any reaction. Thanks to all of the parking attendants, medical staff and the military personnel. I have never been to the TGT POKER.. the rating is for the covid-19 vaccination site.

Quite shady, and definitely not for the faint of heart, or people with high anxiety. Rough crowd here, but it is definitely related to the part of Tampa it is located in. The staff and security are really friendly. Good cheap tournaments if you like poker. Come on Thursday, and check out options on poker atlas.

Good action. Competent dealers and floor staff. A very comfortable, relaxed, friendly environment. Good promotions. Really have nothing but good things to say about this poker room. The action is great and the servers come around often. I'll keep coming back. Much better overall than HR Tampa.

Was not what I was expecting. I was shocked there are no live races held there. Disappointed by that. Was impressed with the restaurant/food services tho. Very delicious and good priced food selection. Fast delivery of ordered food. Very flavorful, and as I said good priced.

A peace of mind was what I received there. Everyone was so helpful and pleasant to be with. Inside, everyone guided us telling us what to do and where to go. A thank you is not enough for me to say. I am back home now with my family. Thanks to you I feel safe and happy.

I am rating this by the way they prepared to administer the covid-19 vaccine. Also I would like to thank all of the military personnel for their service on this. They did a super job guiding, advising and just being professional in their duties and responsibilities.

This place is a scam don’t go here!! The floor will take sides with the regulars %100. They don’t issue any warnings for any mess ups so make sure you know “all”the rules if you do decide to come here. LOL What a joke of a place. Never coming here again.

Went there on a Sunday evening and lets just say, "salt of the earth people". Of the 20 players, I'd say 5 were wasted... but overall had a great time. I dont have a chip on my shoulder so I was pleased, but I did watch my shoulder when I left the place.

Efficient, Professional, Friendly..took my husband and myself 1 hour 49 mins waiting, registering, getting vaccine and waiting 30 mins after vaccine since we are high risk. If not high risk wait is 15 mins after vaccine. Very clean, Very Organized!!!!!!

Very sketchy neighborhood, but they have pocker and security, so that's all ya really need. Rake is excessive though because in addition to $5, they take $2 promo drop. That's $7 getting taken off the table every hand. Must be an out east thing.

Went there to get my vaccine and what a good experience it was. We had no wait time at all. Signed up, read the side effects, got the J&J and then waited for 15minutes (optional). In and out in 30minutes total! The staff was super nice.

Cirque Du Soleil performance was AMAZING! If the chance presents itself to attend a show of theirs, Go! Traffic for entering and exiting was smooth flowing, area was clean. Could have better lighting for public safety.

In the last couple of months, the new owners have put a lot of money into the place. New decor, the bathrooms are re-modeled. The parking lot is lit well at night. I am a big fan of the new and improved TGT Poker.

Easy on and off. Offering NLH, PLO and some mixed games. Plenty of parking. Even for RVs, Semi Trucks. (which I drive) Dealers are engaging and the all around staff are open. Very inviting atmosphere.

I went to the federal COVID-19 vaccine center at the TGT Poker and Racebook location. It was extremely organized whole process from parking to exit was about 20 minutes or so. Staff was very nice.

What in the world? This place needs to close down! They don't have live dogs... couldn't even find the entrance to get in to even see what was going on in the buildin... heck it may be closed now

Friendly folks, lots of screens showing lots of races. Cold beer, some good hot food too. They keep the place clean inside. Sometimes a little busy, but I have never seen it crowded.

Its very homestead meaning newcomers are not that welcomed there. Everyone knows everyone there and if they dont know you, it will take a while for you to start feeling comfortable

It was ok for me. We went late at night so we saw only about hand full of people. Restroom smelled like urine. We'll go earlier next time & try some food & see how it goes.

Got my new id card for covid-19 shots got both but I put tape on it to cover it up and it went away couldn't see it so I had to get new ones made nah I'm good fast and easy

I went for the poker. Nice folks, but meager at best. Might be OK if you're in the neighborhood, but there's A LOT of nicer cardrooms in the area, so not worth any effort.

Nice fun place to play. Friday tournament is lower buy in and comes with a 5k guarantee. Casual atmosphere with horses and dog racing in a otb style available.

Great FEMA site for your vaccination, runs very smooth, and coordinated. I was apprehensive about going there afraid it would be crowded but i had no issue.

I went there for our covid-19 shot. Very efficient and coordinated. I would recommend going there to anyone. Our total time spent there was about one hour.

Awesome poker spot with friendly staff and dealers which make for an overall great atmosphere. Not to mention cheap drinks and plenty of free parking.
