I went to The Beauty Room to prepare for my wedding abroad. The place is absolutely gorgeous, it inspires calm and relaxation as soon as you walk in. Katie, who runs it, is fantastic. First thing she did was to sit with me to try to understand my personal style, while also proposing things she thought I would like and would suit me for the day, also considering the dress style and colour and the complements I would be wearing. She was really designing the look comprehensively. She then prepared my skin with a facial massage that almost put me to sleep, and then did my eyebrows. I’d never had that done before so I didn’t know what to expect but the result was great. It was a defined but natural look. Then she taught me how to do my make up for my wedding, which was no easy feat as I never wear make up. She was explaining everything she was doing very clearly and from the very basics and with illustrations that I could take away to remember. All of this while she was trying to make use of the products I already had. And any other ones that she suggested were very affordable and good quality. She would also be explaining to me how to care for my skin the days before the event. You can really tell she masters and loves her job. The result was fantastic. People at my wedding were asking me who had done my make up since it looked so professional. This is what happens when a top professional like Katie gives you a masterclass. Thank you Katie. I was looking for a new beauty salon since moving to the area and Katie was recommended to me by my neighbour. She took her time to treat me very well and gave me plenty of advice to take home. If that's not enough, the after care was just as good- Katie created a list of recommended products based on the budget I gave her as well as a list of tips on how to take care of my problematic skin. All of this was sent to my email next day. Truly personal and bespoke service!

I had a facial done this weekend, katie asked alot of questions, such as skin concerns, type and what products I use on my skin already, before the treatment. So Katie could design me a relaxing and effective treatment that went with my skin, this facial left my skin super hydrated, and deeply cleansed. After the treatment she gave me advice and tips on my daily skin routine to make my skin super hydrated!!! Highly recommend, will be going back for more
