I came in for just a regular manicure because my wedding was the next day. The manicurist did a good job and I waited around longer than the recommended time (they don't have dryers so you just sit and let your nails air dry) but when I got home I discovered one of my nails had smudged. Unfortunately, because it was on my left hand, I had to remove the polish from all of my nails because it would be visible in the pictures. So this was ultimately a complete waste of time and money. Their response was that nails take several hours to dry properly...something they didn't mention at my appointment and really, who has time for that? I know that gel nails were recommended when I booked the appointment because they are supposed to last longer but I didn't go with that option because I didn't want to go through the hassle of getting them removed...and to be honest I am very glad I didn't! When I was getting my nails done, the lady who was already getting hers done was having issues with the polish not curing properly. And then, while I was waiting for my nails to dry, another lady came in because the manicure she had gotten a little over a week ago looked like complete garbage because none of her nails had cured properly. They said it was because of the individual's nails being too oily but when I was there, everyone was blaming the one brand of polish. Not only would I not come back but I would also not recommend. There are so many nail salons and usually they are set up to be a relaxing environment but here you sit on uncomfortable metal chairs crowded in a row at a table. I just don't understand the appeal.

I had a very poor experience at this location with Ariel, and I gave feedback immediately. These nails were for my honeymoon, a once in a lifetime memory, but I had inconsistent texture in the shellac polish, and polish all over the skin in addition to very poor front desk service. Although they rescheduled to fix my nails later that day, and I do appreciate it, at $125+tax for shellac manicure and pedicure — much higher than average — there is no room for disappointment and no one at “intern”-level experience for such a basic service. Thankfully I had time later that day for the nail fix before my flight with another aesthetician. I also chose to try the Yonge and Lawrence location recently, which was an equally horrible experience as well. I will not return to another Ten Spot, and recommend people go elsewhere for cheaper and much better service.

I came here today for my first Brazilian ever! A friend stopped me from going to another popular spot in the area due to the sheer amount of horror stories, and recommended Ten Spot instead. Nadine was the lovely lady who performed my wax and was she ever wonderful! I don't think I've ever had an experience while out and about, where I was bare from the waist down and somehow so comfortable/unaware of it. She was so professional and genuinely sweet, and made what would have been a very uncomfortable experience actually fun and memorable. The wax itself was a bit unpleasant at worst, but the pain was very manageable. Nadine was very thorough and gentle with it though, and talked me through it step by step, and we had some good laughs which was a fantastic distraction. Thank you for such a great first experience Nadine! :)

Exceptionally clean, great hours, great staff! I stayed clear of laser hair removal for years after the horror stories I had heard from friends and family. But I started to get fed up and decided to try it and chose TEN SPOT for my treatments. Their machine is amazing. No burning, all irritation is gone within 12 hrs or so, I had almost no hair after my SECOND treatment, and since then have been going about every 4 months as maintenance. Well worth it, in my opinion. Ani V is the best. She left for a while, but then returned, which I was so pleased about. I moved to New York City about 3 months ago, but am already planning to continue maintenance with TEN SPOT when I return home. I don't trust anyone else.

I've been to this location 4 times now and each time I have had a different girl. Each time they showed expertise and professionalism. This past time I had Anna M. and she was great. Personable, knowledgeable and very skilled. She knew I was going away on vacation so she told me what to expect from my nails and how to help them last longer. On the last stage of my nails, she noticed a black dot on one of them and asked me if it bothered me at all. I told her it was so small, it wasn't a big deal. She insisted on fixing it and took the time to redo the nail so that it was perfect. Highly recommended. They're all great.

The staff and service here is excellent. I've been several times and am always pleased with the cleanliness, professionalism, and quality of services I've received. As an example of the service quality; I had booked an appointment for a pedi this past weekend, but arrived to find that the appointment had been scheduled for the following week. They were extremely apologetic and the manager stepped in to do the pedicure herself. The appointment was unhurried, and it was the best pedicure I've gotten. I'll definitely keep coming back!

I work in the area, and noticed the location a month ago but never went. Last week I decided to try it out and went for a manicure. Upon entering the salon I noticed how clean and bright the place was. It felt very welcoming, even before the staff greeted me (which was done within seconds). The staff was extremely friendly! And Ana did a great job on my nails. She was very patient and meticulous. I left the salon extremely pleased with my service and I'd recommend this place to anyone. I will definitely be going back. :)

They make it very hard to cancel your membership and management/team is very unresponsive we had to follow up multiple times. And was ultimately told they wouldn't process the cancellation even though we sent the request in online before the renewal date but they didn't receive it. So we basically had to pay for the September membership and even when trying to find out when it was good to use until we never heard back from them. It's now mid October basically they scammed us of a month's membership cost. Ridiculous.

I don't usually leave reviews but I think this salon deserves one. I have nothing but positive things to say about The Ten Spot at Yonge and Eglinton. The space itself is clean and sanitary, and the staff are all so welcoming and friendly. Ana D is my go-to for all my appointments (Brazilian and Eyebrow wax) and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results. Thank you Ana for making me feel so comfortable and at ease - I will definitely be returning again and again!

I rarely leave reviews but the staff were so rude I felt the need to comment. The receptionist seemed completely uninterested and ignored me after bluntly telling me my appointment was cancelled. I can accept a cancelled appointment, but it was her condescending and disdainful attitude towards me that left me unsettled. I felt like I was kicked out. This was my first time going to the Ten Spot and I will not be returning to this location.

I’ve gone to this location for gel pedicures a few times and it’s very clean. The service is always great and consistent. The only negative is some of their staff don’t wear masks. That’s not going to stop me from going as the location is great and the pedicures are always awesome. Just a heads up. Surprised me for personal services. It’s expensive, after tax and tip it’s $100. But since it’s reliable I will likely continue going.

I got my nails done by Karen and honestly she did such a fantastic job on making them look adorable! When I went back to work the next day, everyone at work asked me where I got them done because they were that cute and pretty to look at! I’ve received so many compliments so far and I can’t wait to come back again to get it done by her! Thank you so much Karen once again!!!! I DEFINITELY recommend getting it done by her!

Normally, my daughter and I enjoy visiting this location and have for some time. Today we left, after having waited some time for our appointments. It's one thing to wait, but quite another not to be acknowledged for doing so. Never have I seen a group of more uninterested staff, in one place. In no hurry at all. Felt quite happy to be late and say nothing. Very disappointing. We will think hard about ever returning.

I booked well in advance for a bikini wax and pedi. first they asked me to change the appointment time which was fine and the next day they called and said they couldn't do the pedi. I went for the bikini wax and she barely did anything and so I will have to go somewhere else for another one. They didn't even acknowledge the cancellation and any inconvenience when I arrived. Won't be going back ever again.

Great service! Had an overall very pleasant experience. Denise did a quick and fantastic job! I got a manicure for the first time at The Ten Spot and I was very impressed by the staff's professionalism and friendliness. Chantal provided valuable tips on their skin care products and Denise advised me on how to make my manicure last even longer. I will definitely be coming back!

My first time getting my brows done ever was a great experience! Staff were all pretty friendly, they were able to help me book my appointment and were flexible with accommodating my sister as well. There was a slight issue with using my gift card online, but everything was sorted out nicely. I'm also very happy with the results! Totally going back to be pampered some more.

Love this location, and the staff are all wonderful. I've had manicures (regular and gel polish), and Anna is an absolute gem. Gentle, but excellent work on cuticles, beautiful polish job every time. My regular polish lasts a week without chipping, and I'm not super careful, just an superb job. Clean, bright and welcoming. I've brought friends too!

Stephanie was an amazing nail tech who used gel on me. It was my first time getting a mani done, and I have to admit that I was not disappointed at all! It was a clean and neat polish. Long lasting wear as well! She was very polite, and social. I highly recommend booking with Stephanie!! I certainly will be going to see her again!

I had Nadine do my pedicure, and she was very lovely. Great attention to detail, and she and the other staff members helped me pick out a colour for my nails. Felt like I was hanging out with my girlfriends. It’s a bit pricey (I got the shellac pedi), but it’s been a few weeks and I don’t have any chips so it was worth it.

Great service. The whole team took time to take care of me and my request. I felt very welcomed and treated well. I’m really happy with my nails they look so perfect now. Laura is very much skilled she does a fantastic job on my nails (gel + mani) and is also very nice to talk to. I would definitely recommend this place!

Love this The Ten Spot Location. I have tried other locations, but this one became my favourite one. The staff are always very friendly, and the setting is relaxing and inviting. I love their manicures, and I always get mine with Sabrina. She is knowledgeable and skilled, and the results are always stunning. Thank you!

I got a Brazilian wax from Ana D. She was extremely kind and patient, despite me being a little antsy. She gave me one of the most thorough waxes of my life! Highly recommend her! The Ten Spot also came through for me in a pinch when another wax chain accidentally cancelled my appointment. Great experience overall!

Amazing service and a calm environment. I got the amazing opportunity of having my Mani-Pedi done by Stephanie. She was very friendly and was very understanding of requests. She did a fast, amazing job! I highly recommend having her do your nails! By far the best experience I've had and will be coming back again.

Now I have to wait for next weekend again. Low-key ruined my day My nails were done so well and gently. The place is clean.

This was my first visit to The Ten Spot and WOW was I blown away by the amazing service! Luisa is a pedicure QUEEN and the associate at the front desk (oops, I didn't catch her name!) was so lovely. Plus the complimentary lip balm was the cherry on top! You guys are amazing! I'll definitely be back :)

It was my first time coming to this location and hands down it was the best. I came in for a brazilly service but from the moment I walked in I was greeted by a nice young lady, she made me feel very welcomed. The waxing technician was very gentle throughout the service. 1000% recommend the tenspot!

The ten spot at Yonge and Eglinton is great! Ruby, Laura and Anna give an A+ manicure every time. I find all of the manicurists and receptionist very friendly, helpful and quick. In the year I’ve been coming here I was not happy with my service one time, and they gave me a full refund right away.

The experience at this location is off the charts, the ladies are incredibly welcoming and make you feel wonderful by the time you leave. Nadine is my girl! She is warm, attentive, and fun. I love how I feel after her services. It's clean, affordable, professional and absolutely the place to go!

Tshika is a true professional. My experience was she was on time and work is just amazing. Her attention to detail is at another level. I would not hesitate to book her for a pedicure and manicure again. You can tell she has been doing this for years. Try her and you would not be disappointed.

Ana D regularly does my gel manicure and it is always amazing. I always walk out with perfect nails that last about 3 weeks! She has the most pleasant attitude making the experience that much better! She is the best and the only one that I would trust with my nails and laser!!

Both times I've come here recently it's been dead. Customer service is very low, and both times I've paid a very high price only to have the nail polish rub off.
